        Alloy 600 노즐관통부의 이종금속용접 잔류응력에 따른 응력부식균열 거동 분석

        This work is concerned with the analysis of stress corrosion cracking(SCC) behavior of Alloy 600 nozzle penetration mock-up according to a residual stress induced by a dissimilar metal welding(DMW) in a nuclear reactor pressure vessel. The effects of the dimension and materials of the nozzle penetration on the deformation and the residual stress induced by DMW were investigated using a finite element analysis(FEA). The inner diameter(ID) change of the nozzle by DMW and its dependance on the design variables, calculated by FEA, were well consistent with those measured from the mock-up. Accelerated SCC tests were performed for three mock-ups with different wall thicknesses in a highly acidic solution to investigate mainly the effect of the residual stress on the SCC behavior of Alloy 600 nozzle. From a destructive examination of the mock-up after the tests, the SCC behavior of the nozzle was fairly related with the residual stress induced by DMW : axial cracks were found in the ID surface of the nozzle within the J-weld region where the highest tensile hoop stress was predicted by FEA, while circumferential cracks were observed beyond both J-weld root and toe where the highest tensile axial stress was expected.

        The importance of avionics systems has increased to a significant level in modern aircraft development. Modern avionics system is a complex integrated system of state-of-art hardware and software technology. Specifying the avionics system architecture is the most important task throughout the avionics system design process. This paper reviews modern avionics system architectures and proposes an effective avionics architecture suitable for modern attack helicopters.

        19세기 초반 노상추(盧尙樞)의 백운동 별업(別業) 조성과 경영

        The subject of this article is a historical figure, Roh Sang-chu (1746-1829). After ending his 28-year-long bureaucratic career as the associate commander at Gadeuk Naval Fort in 1813, he started a typical life of a rural yangban in his home town, Seonsan, Gyeongsang-do province for 17 years until his death in 1829. The most notable feature that involved the latter years of his life at hometown was the creation of the Baeg'un-dong manor ("byeol'eop"). He started creating the manor in 1814 and dedicated himself to developing it as a mean for economic development and social stability of the village, until his death there after a long illness. It is the locale of Baeg'un-dong that this research pays the greatest attention to. It was a border village under the jurisdiction of Dogae-myeon, Seonsan prefecture in the Joseon dynasty. As a border village, it was much closer to Bian prefecture than to Seonsan. For this reason, Baeg'un-dong now belongs to Uiseong County. The fact that it was alienated from the Seonsan prefecture, in spite of its belonging to the prefecture, is the most crucial factor which determined the historical-geographical character of the village. It was for this reason that Roh Sang-chu made efforts to build a shelter for illegitimate descendants there. He had an illegitimate son, Roh Seung-yeop(1796-1842). Roh Seung-yeop and his descendants led a socio-economically stable life under the guardianship of Roh Sang-chu, who acted as a patriarch of the manor. But their stable life began to derail after the death of Roh Sang-chu, due to their disadvantageous social status as 'illegitimates.' In the course of the downfall, the second and third generation of descendants of Roh Seung-yeop had to earn their lives as hired hands or loggers, leading a hard life in a small, secluded area inside Hwa'rim, village for the legitimate descendants of Roh's lineage. It testifies to the fact that the illegitimates were given little opportunities for their social activities during Joseon dynasty. Given this social background of Joseon dynasty, Roh Sang-chu s experimentation to create a manor for the illegitimate descendants had to end with incomplete success.

        시각(視覺)과 감응(感應) : 동서양건축에서의 경험의 문제

        Perception of architectural experience is different in different culture. This paper aims to identify how the experience of architecture is understood to be different in Eastern and Western culture. The discussion is based on the idea that the Western architecture placed more emphasis on visual perception, while the Eastern, on mutual responsiveness between man and built environment. The fact that the Western culture is more visually oriented than other culture, and therefore visual aspect of architecture, too, is considered to be very important, is already widely agreed among scholars. But, then, what had been considered to be important in the architectural experience in the East? It is the degree and quality of mutual responsiveness between man and architectural environment. This fact influenced much on the making of architecture of course, and the same fact played the key role in making the Eastern architecture different from that of the West. We are so used to the way of architecture of the West, that the quality of responsiveness is unknown if not forgotten. However, it is not the quality that was useful only in traditional society of the East, but necessary in our modem period as well. The quality for responsiveness, therefore, should be rediscovered and restored as the prime value and quality of architecture in the future architecture.

        Mo / SiO2 촉매상에서 t - Butyl hydroperoxide 에 의한 염화알릴의 에폭시화반응에 관한 속도론적 연구

        t-Butyl hydroperoxide(TBHP)에 의한 염화알릴의 에폭시화에 의해서 에피클로로히드린을 합성하는데 실리카에 담지된 몰리브데늄 촉매를 사용하였다. 속도론적 연구는 회분 반응기를 사용하여 60-80℃, 10기압에서 TBHP/염화알릴의 농도비를 0.01-0.1의 범위내에서 수행하였다. t-butyl alcohol(TBA)에 의해서 염화알릴의 에폭시화 반응이 억제되었고 반응속도는 Michaelis-Menten 형태의 속도식으로 표현할 수 있었다. 반응기구는 TBHP와 TBA의 가역흡착과 Mo/SiO_2에 흡착된 TBHP와 염화알릴의 표면반응으로 설명할 수 있었다. The synthesis of epichlorohydrin was carried out by the epoxidation of allyl chloride with tert-butyl hydroperoxide(TBHP) over silica supported molybdenum catalyst. Kinetic study was performed at 60-80℃ and 10 atm with the molar ratio of TBHP/Allyl chloride between 0.01 and 0.1 in a batch reactor. The epoxidation of allyl chloride was inhibited by tert-butyl alcohol and kinetic data could be represented by Michaelis-Meten type rate equation. The reaction mechanism could be explained by the combination of reversible adsorption of TBHP and tert-butyl alcohol accompanied by reaction of allyl chloride with TBHP adsorbed on Mo/SiO_2 catalyst.

        북한의 핵테러와 대응방안

        한국은 북한의 핵무기 위협에 우선적으로 대응하여야 하는 상황에 직면해 있다. 전략적으로 대응방향은 한국 자체 및 미국의 억제전력을 강화함과 동시에 현재 상태에서 그에 대한 현실적인 해결책은 선제타격을 통한 사전 제거라는 점도 인정할 필요가 있다. 현재 북한의 미사일 위협은 상존하고 있으며 미사일에 탑재시킬 정도의 핵무기를 소형화하는데 성공하였을 가능성도 매우 높다. 한국은 적의 미사일 방어에 관심을 가져야 하며 대공방어는 하층방어와 상층방어를 중심으로 한 전반적인 미사일 방어 체제의 구축방향을 토의 연구하는 한편 인구밀집 도시와 국가 전략시설을 방호할 수 있는 체계를 구축해야한다. 지금까지 북한의 핵무기 위협과 관련된 쟁점은 6자 회담과 같은 국제적이고 외교적인 접근에 의해 문제를 해결하려고 주 노력을 경주하였는데 이 방법이 과연 효율적인지, 북한의 핵무기 위협에 대한 정보의 신뢰도는 과연 어느 정도 인지와 이것을 기초로 우리 군의 방어태세의 하나인 킬체인(Kill Chain)이 효과적인 방어수단이 될 수 있는가 등이다. 지금까지 우리가 얻은 교훈은 북한이 스스로 핵무기 개발을 포기하지 않는 한 외교적 노력으로만 북한의 핵무기를 개발을 억제하는 것은 불가능하다는 것을 알았다. 외교적인 노력과 더불어 군사적인 방법으로 다양한 억제 대책도 실제로 시행할 수 있도록 준비해야 한다. South Korea should correspond to the primary threat to North Korea's nuclear weapons. It is necessary to have countermeasures to solve the realistic problems of North Korea's nuclear weapons. We can intensify military pact between the United States and Korea and at the same time strengthening the current military power. Currently, we take note the threat North Korea's missile. We can not control the development of a nuclear weapon and there are possibilities that North Korea have successfully miniaturized nuclear enough to carry by the missile. We should overview and check the Korea's missile defenses system. While the direction of the overall missile defense system deployment with a focus on lower and upper air defense network. And discuss defense research should be to build a system that can be protected with a key strategic facilities and cities. While North Korea have nuclear weapon, the main issues related to North Korea's nuclear threat. The six party talks countries try to solve the problem by the international and diplomatic approach. At the same time we should make somewhat to defend measures such as military defenses of Kill chain system to protect our country. Kill Chain is on of the effective defense system. We know that North Korea do not abandon to develop nuclear weapons by diplomatic efforts. We should performed in fact by a variety of military suppression method.

        공간(空間)과 천지(天地) - 동서양 건축에서의 공간관 -

        We are so used to the concept of the term 'space' that we do not question its conceptual validity. However, this paper argues that the notion of space prevailing all over the world, is not a universal concept that can be applicable to all architectures of the world, but is a particular concept that is generated from the Western way of thinking. This paper alms to identify the conceptual structure of the idea of space as it is originated in the tradition of the West, and, as an alternative view of space, tries to identify the nature of the view of space perceived in the tradition of the Eastern architecture. Comparison of the two views, that of the East and the West, and their meaning in the future of architecture, is another task to discuss in this paper. To be able to clarify the meaning of space in East Asian tradition, a set of new perspective of understanding of space was invited. They are ; 1. sky-earth(天地); insisting that the notion of space should be replaced within the context of sky, which is one half of sky-earth totality 2. energy of the air (空氣), space is not empty part inside of a building, but is a dynamic condition of air that is a part of the sky which always exist in form of energy 3. place(자리): instead of space, which, basically. is a man-made concept, idea of place is necessary, which include not only space but also earth Such concept of space which is different from the notion of space of the West, is meaningful not only to identify the idea of space in the East, but also to be able to contribute for more dynamic, varied, and balanced understanding of space.

        A number of navigation improvements are envisaged : Differential GPS - WAAS, LAAS, and Performance Based Navigation. The GPS receiver verifies the integrity(usability) of the signals received from the GPS constellation through a process called receiver autonomous integrity monitoring(RAIM) to determine if a satellite is providing corrupted information. This paper describe the RAIM function and Performance-Based Navigation implementation of Mission Equipment Package(MEP) for Korean Utility Helicopter.
