As one of the chemical and experimental study on cancer treatment in Korea oriental medical hospital. Furthermore, we carried out the cytotoxicity test of extracts of herbal medicine. The results are as follows : About Clinical Aspects of the Oriental Medical Cancer Treatment - (1) Clinical experience is that 420 Oriental medical hospital were surveyed. Number of cancer patient treated by one oriental medical doctor was under 10(about 60%) or from 10 to 20(about 30%). (2) Diagnostic Procedure is that more than 80% of cancer patients were diagnosed by medical doctor of western hospital. (3) Therapeutic Method is that combination of oriental and western medical treatment was used in oriental medical hospital. (4) Relationship between cancer and constitutions is that to the relationship between cancer and constitutions, about 75% responded and most were considered to be Um. About Experimental Study - to evaluate the direct cytotoxicity of hot water and methanol extracts of 34 oriental medical presciptions on stomach cancer cell, SRB assay was carried out. (1) The IC50 value of water extract of Samsoum was 19㎍/㎖ and that of methanol extract was 15㎍/㎖, so that we confirmed Samsoum has a strong direct cytotoxicity. (2) The IC50 values of water extract of Coptidis Rhizoma, methanol extract of Caesalpiniae Lignum and Draba Semen were 10㎍/㎖, 19㎍/㎖ and 12.5㎍/㎖ respectively, so that we confirmed Coptidis Rhizoma, Caesalpiniae Lignum and Draba Semen have a strong direct cytototoxicity. (3) The IC50 value of combinatory prescription of Rhei Rhizoma, Forsythie Fructus and Caesalpiniae Lignum was about 40㎍/㎖.

브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 신뢰 및 브랜드 애호도의 구조적 관계 : 금융브랜드 이미지를 중심으로

본 논문은 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 신뢰 그리고 브랜드 애호도에 관한 구조적 관계를 실증분석을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 은행을 이용해 본 경험이 있는 고객들을 상대로 설문조사를 하였으며 수집된 자료를 이용하여 구조방정식에 의해 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 신뢰, 그리고 브랜드 애호도 간의 인과관계를 검증하였다. 분석결과 브랜드 이미지는 브랜드 신뢰에 브랜드 신뢰는 브랜드 애호도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 애호도와의 관계에서 브랜드 신뢰는 부분적으로 매개적 작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구결과에 따른 실무적 시사점과 연구의 한계점 및 미래 연구방향에 대해 기술하였다. This study examines the structural relationship among brand image, brand trust, and brand loyalty in bank industry, and then how brand trust plays a role of mediating variables between brand image and brand loyalty. Findings of this study are as follows: First, the brand image is significantly related to brand trust. The more consumer arouses about brand image, the more he trust the brand.Second, brand trust affects brand loyalty. Creating and maintaining brand trust produces positive results in repeat purchase and word-of-mouth activities. Third, brand trust is definitely found as a mediating variables which illustrates the relationship of brand image and brand loyalty. This paper suggests some marketing implications. First, it is possible to place a powerful brand when a brand has strong, favorable, and unique brand image. Bank industry should endeavor to build and maintain a strong, favorable, unique brand image because the powerful brand leads to brand equity. Second, financial goods in bank do not still perform in their strong, favorable and unique brand image attributes. Therefore banks provide consumers the strong, favorable, unique brand image in financial goods through effective communications.

알코올리즘 환자에서 뇌교외수초용해증과 연관된 주기교대눈떨림과 주기교대주시편위

주기교대눈떨림와 주기교대주시편위는 이상안구 운동에서도 흔히 관찰되지 않는다. 이런 안구운동은 뇌교와 소뇌에 병변이 있을 때 나타난다고 보고되고 있다. 50세 남자 환자가 과음을 하고 난 이후 심하게 구토를 하여 입원하였다. 다음날 아침에 의식이 없었으며 주기교대눈떨림과 주기교대주시편위가 관찰되었다. 뇌자기공명영상에서는 뇌교나 소뇌에 병변없는 교뇌외수초용해증에 합당한 소견을 보였다. 저자는 아마도 교뇌외수초용해증이 소뇌와 전정신경핵의 경로중에 GABA 시스템에 이상이 발생하여 주기교대눈떨림과 주기교대 주시편위가 나타났을 것으로 추정한다. Background; Periodic alternating gaze deviation(PAGD) and periodic alternating nystagmus(PAN) are rare forms of abnormal eye movement. Multiple lesions in the cerebellum and brainstem have been reported with PAN and PAGD. Case Report; A 50-year-old man presented with severe vomiting after binge drinking. The next morning he. became vegetative state and showed PAGD and PAN. Brain MRI showed findings compatible with extrapontine myelinolysis(EPM) without any brainstem or cerebellar lesions. Conclusions; We postulate that the disturbed GABAnernic system in the pathway from the cerebellum to vestibular nuclei caused probably by EPM developed PAGD and PAN.

한의학의 지위 변화 요인에 대한 분석

Korean Oriental Medicine has experienced a dramatic status change since the 19th century. Korean Oriental had been the only authentic medicine, but lost its status and fell as an illegal medicine through the Japanese rule, and recently revived successfully. The dramatic change of Korean Oriental Medicine needs an explanation. This paper explored the cause of the dramatic change and found the following things. First, the medical policy of the State directly influenced to the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. During the Japanese rule, the medical policy for Korean Oriental Medicine was very oppressive. After Liberation, a kind of noninterference policy was carried out. The change of the medical policy gave direct influence to the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. Second, the needs for medical service have been expanded. At the same time, the concern for tradition has been increased. And the supply of Korean Oriental Medicine has also increased by the establishments of Korean Oriental Medicine departments. Third, the internal growth of Korean Oriental Medicine brought to elevating the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. After 1945, Korean Oriental Medicine endeavored to strengthen the organization and to activate the academic society. Based on the above factors, Korean Oriental Medicine has achieved a remarkable status change during last several decades. We can not skip Korean Oriental Medical doctors' desperate efforts to enhance the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. Korean Oriental Medicine achieved the modernization. It's difficult to find similar case. It can be a model of modernization of tradition.

미래 한의학의 중장기예측 연구 동향

Oriental medicine is a traditional medical art that has maintained its medical system only in Korea, Japan, and China, nowadays, it is required to systematize the Oriental medicine modernly as well as prove remedical value of it for public welfare and hygiene medical studies about geriatric disease and ageing are valued highly in researchs of future medical service which were excuted by Korea, Japan, and Germany. Consequently, future - estimating project of the Oriental medicine which keeps an accent on research datas that have a curative effect highly must be constructed. In the cause of this, efficient and systematic subject selection should be preceded to accomplish an advisable planning of the oriental medicine.

유한요소해석을 통한 iTECH의 전단 성능에 관한 해석적 연구

Experimental evaluations for the iTECH beam System, which is invented for the purpose of making a lower height in steel structures, have been studied a lot for many years. In addition, they show the possibility of being developed as a new system when the iTECH beam system is applied in construction fields. However, the experiments were carried out without preceding theoretical analyses. Thus, it is intended to supplement some parts of the experiments by analyses and to provide the basis on future studies. iTECH Beam evaluated structural function through moment, shear, joint experiment and proposed formula. While this experiment, shear formula proposed assuming that steel web is all shown similar shear behavior about shear component element. This paper tries to verify assumption for analyzing shear behavior through FEA method.

In the field of study on 'comminution' there appear some kinds of polarizition, i.e. macro-micro, software-hardware and practice-theory and so on. For instance, numerous papers are available on mathematical modelling or simulation of practical ball mill grinding circuits. Few discussion, however, has been made in those papers from the viewpoint of energy consumption on the basis of its quantitative measurement. On the other hand so-called 'fracture of a single particle' phenomena have been investigated exclusively from this point of view in other papers concerned. The authors, therefore, are trying to fill the gap of this type nad conducted so far some experimental work on a laboratory scale ball mill system facilitating precise measurements of torgue.

급성 골수성 백혈병 환자에서 관해 유도 항암 화학요법 후 발생한 베르니케 뇌증

Wernicke's encephalopathy is characterized by the triad of ocular symptoms, ataxia, and mental confusion and neuropsychiatric condition generally caused by acute thiamine deficiency. Although it is common in the severe alcoholics, several other causes also have been identified, such as total parenteral nutrition (TPN) use, hyperemesis gravidarum, anorexia nervosa, hemodialysis, uremia, and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS). Chemotherapy in patient with malignanacy and long term total parenteral nutrition following bone marrow transplantation are related with Wernicke's encephalopathy. A 48-year-old woman had been treated with Daunorubicin and Cytarabine for remission induction chemotherapy of acute myeloblastic leukemia and intravenous hyperalimentation due to persistent hematochezia and ileus caused by infiltration of leukemic cell in terminal ileum. She suddenly complained of diplopia, tremor, and mental confusion at 32th day after chemotherapy and generalized tonic-clonic seizure at 34th day after chemotherapy. The diagnosis of Wernicke's encephalopathy was made with clinical presentations and brain MRI. Brain MR T2-weighted & Flair image revealed a high signal intensity lesions bilaterally at the medial thalamus and peri-acueductal grey matter of the midbrain. The patient was successfully treated with vitamin B1. We presented a case of acute Wernicke's encephalopathy developed after remission induction chemotherapy followed by intravenous hyperalirnentation in a patient with acute myeloblastic leukemia.

가역적 후외동맥 폐색으로 발현된 전조편두통 연관 뇌경색

예전 인구에 근거하여 연구된 논문들은 편두통이 뇌졸중의 위험성을 높일 수 있다는 보고를 하였으며, 전조증상을 동반한 편두통은 중추신경계와 연관된 병인론적 과정을 통하여 뇌졸중과의 관련성이 있다는 보고가 있다. 그러나, 편두통성 뇌졸중의 병태생리는 아직 정확히 밝혀지지 않았다. 편두통의 발생 원인에서 혈관성 이론은 편두통을 혈관수축으로 발생하는 전조증상과 함께 대뇌 조절 장애로 발생한다는 이론으로 뇌허혈증상은 일으킬 수 있다. 전조증상을 동반한 편두통성 뇌경색은 허혈성 뇌졸중의 드문 원인이며, 또한 편두통과 허혈성 뇌졸중사이의 관련성은 아직 논란으로 남아 있다. 우리는 혈관경련 수축으로 나타날 수 있는 전조성 편두통과 관련된 뇌경색에서의 가역적 후뇌 동맥 폐색 1례를 보고한다. Several previous population-based studies reported an increase risk of stroke in association with migraine. Migraine with aura increased stroke risk with pathogenetic process in the central nervous system. However, the pathologic mechanism of migrainous infarction remains elusive. The vasogenic theory ascribes migraine to cerebral dysregulation with aura resulting from vasoconstriction. Migrainous infarction with aura is a rare cause of cerebral ischemic stroke. Also, the relationship between migraine and ischemic stroke remains controversial. We report a case of cerebral infarction associated with migraine with aura that shows reversible arterial narrowing which might be caused by vasospasm.
