      • 산포도와 머루중의 Polyphenol Oxidase에 관한 연구¹

        Polyphenol oxidase was partially purified from fresh vitis flexuosa and vitis amurensis and its characteristics were studied. the experimental results were summarized as follows. 1.The enzyme activities were increased during the fruit developement gradually in two sample. 2.The optimum pH and temperature for activity were 5.5 and 30℃, respectively. 3.The enzyme was active with o-phenols and trihydroxyphenol, but inactive toward m-diphenols and monophenols. 4.The ?? value of the enzymes was 15.4 mM in vitis flexuosa and 12.5 mM in vitis amurensis with catechol as substrate. 5.Inhibitors sudies indicated that sodium diethyl-dithiocarbamate, L-cysteine, sodium bisulfite, L-ascorbic acid and 2-mercaptoeyhanol were the most potent. 6.The enzyme activity increament by ?? was much better than those by the other metal ions.

      • 디지털 워터마킹을 이용한 영상 정보 보호 시스템

        Recently, with advance in computer network and multimedia technology, digital media is rapidly proliferating, and digital copy has been widely practiced. So an efficient technology for the protection of intellectual property is required. Watermark techniques effectively protect the intellectual property for multimedia data, and can prevent an unauthorized person from copying the multimedia data. In this paper, we propose a watermarking scheme to hide watermark information in low-frequency and high-frequency of wavelet transform. Experimental results show that the proposed watermark scheme is robust to several distortions including Gaussian noise and filtering, compression and contrast at different qualities.

        다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 이용한 반코마이신 내성 장구균의 신속 검출

        일반적으로 임상검사실에서 vancomycin resistant enterococci(VRE)를 검출하는 일은 어렵고, 시간이 많이 들며, 검체처리 비용도 많이 든다. 따라서 본 실험은 임상검체에서 분리된 세균으로부터 VRE를 신속하게 확인하고, 진단하기 위한 방법으로서 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 확립하였다. 본 실험에 사용된 primer는 장구균에 특이한 유전자인 vanA, vanB, vanC-1, vanC-2/3각각의 염기서열을 기초로 primer를 제작하고, 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 실시하여 임상검체로부터 분리된 VRE 유전자의 type 및 분포율을 조사하고자 하였다. 국내에서 분리된 75주의 장구균을 대상으로 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응을 실시한 결과 36주의 분리균주에서 vancomycin에 대해 높은 저항성을 보이는 vanA 유전자를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 18주에서는 vancomycin에 낮은 저항성을 내성을 보이는 vanC-1또는 vanC-2/3유전자를 보유한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 실험에서 확립한 다중 중합효소 연쇄반응 기법은 신속한 VRE 진단 방법으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다. It is generally difficult, time-consuming, and expensive for the clinical laboratory to detect vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE). The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate the multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay system as a diagnostic tool for the rapid detection of VRE from clinical samples and/or for the identification of VRE from the bacterial strains isolated from clinical specimens. Specific primers, designed from the nucleotide sequences respectively encoding the vanA, vanB, vanC-1, vanC-2/3 genes in enterococci, were coupled in a multiplex PCR assay system. With this multiplex PCR assay system, we investigated the incidence rates and types of VRE isolated from clinical samples. A total of 75 strains of enterococci were isolated in 3 general hospitals in Korea. Of these isolates, 36 strains showed a pattern of highlevel vancomycin resistance which associated with vanA gene, whereas 18 strains showed lowlevel vancomycin resistance associated with vanC-1 or vanC-2/3 gene. Thus, multiplex PCR assay method established in this study could be applied for the rapid detection of VRE.

      • 히스토그램 피크 매칭을 이용한 사인 인식 시스템

        Most of previous signature recognition method mainly used 8 direction chain code, starting point and separated point to recognize signs. In this paper, we propose a signature recognition system using histogram peak mathing. First, for efficient recognition, the proposed system binarizes and normalizes obtained sign images, and then only sign area is extracted. Next, as input data of ART2, the histogram peaks of x and y axis are used. In the experiment using 40 sign images, the proposed system shows about 88% recognition rate.

      • 운동수행시 혈청효소 변화 분석

        This study aim to compare the effects of acute physical exercise on the serum enzyme, Creatine phosphokinase(CPK), Lactate dehydrgenaes(LDH), glutamic axaloacetic transaminase(GOT) and glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT) in two groups of Body Mass Index. The subject was divided two groups of 8 normal(BMI〈23) and 8 obesity (BMI〉30). The exercise consisted of running on a mater driven-treadmill until the subject reached exhaust. Blood sample were drawn from the antecubital vein before, immediately after exercise, postexercise 30 minute and postexercise 60 minute. Serum enzyme activity increase immediately after exercise the end of the tradmill test in the both groups for CPK(24.5%), LDH(15.3%), GOT(39.0%), and GPT(20.6%), and gradually decrease postexercise 60 minute to approximately to base activity. The serum enzyme activity significantly different between normal and obesity groups in before exercise of CPK(40.8%), LDH(14.7%), GOT(27.&%), and GPT(72.4%)(p〈0.05), and the immediately after exercise activity nonsignificantly different for CPK(29.0%), LDH(2.9%), GOT(8.1%), but GPT is significantly different(p〈0.05). It is concluded from this study that serum enzyme activity rise after exercise and recover to the base activity after postexercise 30 and 60 minute. It is indicate that sarum enzyme release to blood from skeletal muscle, tissue and organ. Obesity group's serum enzyme activity more higher than normal group is important pathological examination especially GOT, GPT.

      • 비만도에 따른 최대지방연소를 위한 운동강도 설정에 관한 연구

        In order to provide the basic data required for an effective physical exercise program to get rid of obesity, women in their 20s to 50s who had never participated in a regular physical exercise were classified into GroupI, GroupII, and GroupIII consisting of 10 persons each with 25 to 30%,34 to 35%, and over 36% of body fat rate respectively, and then they were checked up with their maximum physical exercise intensity by using RAMP II protocol to analyze relations of physiological causes of change at the time of the maximum fat oxidation intensity for the three groups with the result of analysis as follows, 1.Maximum fat oxidation and fat -free weight(r=.396, p〈.03), oxygen uptake(r=.569, p〈.001) and ruts piratory exchange rate(r=.673, p〈.000) have notable co-relations one another. 2.At the time of the maximum fat oxidation intensity, oxygen uptake, heart rate, respiratory exchange rate, fat oxidation, and energy consumption among the 3 group have shown no notable statistical difference one another. 3.At the time of the maximum fat oxidation intensity, percentage in the maximum oxygen uptake value(% VO2max) shows a notable difference among the three groups. A post verification shows GroupIII has a notable difference from GroupI or GroupII(p〈.05) while there is no notable difference between GroupII and GroupI. In conclusion at the time of the maximum fat oxidation intensity, GroupIII(body fat rate of over 36%) shows a notably high relative intensity. Accordingly people of high body fat rate need the tensity of 60% VO2max in aerobic exercise to reduce their fat.

        Cumulative Trauma Disorders(CTDs) 관련 범용 작업의험도 평가서 개발에 관한 연구

        Today, CTDs (Cumulative Trauma Disorders) are one of major hazards in the US and European Industries disrupting work schedules, productivity and increasing workers compensation cost. The increase in injuries and their associated costs has led companies to form committees and implement programs to address this problem. Therefore, it is important that quantitative analysis tools help identify and assess industrial tasks that pose risk to workers. However, the process of quantifying risk in upper limb tasks is still in its infancy stage and calls for better measurement techniques are not going unheard. As the first work of quantification, baseline CTD checklist for risk assessment was developed in this study. It was mainly based on previous literature regarding CTDs. The checklist was unique in that its expected user was industrial hygienist who did not have much ergonomic background and in that it was targeted to Korean workers in various types of industries. As the list application of the checklist, some jobs in two industries(VDT, heavy industry) were evaluated, and compared with the medical data. Eighteen out of thirty items in the checklist was univariately significant(p<0.05) on the results of medical examinations. The correlation between medical data and total risk score from the checklist was 0.62. The feasibility of its use by an industrial hygienist was also checked by comparing with the results by an ergonomist. Their correlation (on the basis of Kendall's tau-b) in terms of total risk score was 0.74. The checklist in this study shows reasonably good performance for the first trial. Further research will have to include continuous refinement and validation for many more industries and many more jobs.

        바둑판을 이용한 흑백 게임의 최적해를 구하는 선형대수학 알고리즘

        For finding the optimal strategy in Blackout game which was introduced in the homepage of popular movie "Beautiful mind", we develop a mathematical proof and an algorithm with a software. We only use the concept of basis and knowledge of basic linear algebra. This process can be extended to the fullsize Go table problem and shows why we have to study mathematics at the college level.
