        Acitretin으로 치료된 다발성 거대각질가시세포종 1예

        Giant keratoacanthoma is an uncommon variant of keratoacanthoma, which may increase to a diameter of several centimeters. Although keratoacanthomas usually resolve spontaneously, giant keratoacanthoma can be invasive and destructive. A 49-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of multiple large hyperkeratotic and crusted plaques and nodules on sun-exposed areas such as the face, ear, hand, and forearm. Some lesions involuted spontaneously, whereas others became rather enlarged. The biopsy specimen revealed horn-filled crater formation, epidermal extending resembling a buttress, and an eosinophilic glassy appearance in the keratinocytic cytoplasm. We treated the lesions with acitretin, and they almost completely resolved after 13 weeks. Here we describe a case of multiple giant keratoacanthoma treated with acitretin.       • 녹비작물재배에 따른 고려인삼의 생육특성

        Background : The authors of this study analyzed the effect of the green manures cultivated in the soil of the preparation field in order to select the green manures suitable for ginseng cultivation and the effect of the green manures on the variation of ginseng growth development, the content of crude saponin and yield ability with the aim to use the results as the primary data for improving the quality of ginseng. Methods and Results: To analyze the effect of the application of green manures on the growth of ginseng, the authors cultivated 4 varieties of green manures and installed blue polyethylene sheet and one-layered black polyethylene net+three-layered blue polyethylene net(OBPNTB) and sun-shading material on the managed soil by re-applying green manures and then cultivated ginseng. The results suggested that the growth of ginseng was excellent in the barley+hairy, barely and rye cultivation plot in the plot treated with OBPNTB rather than the cultivation plot teated with Blue polyethylene sheet(BPS) and two-layered blue & two-layered black polyethylene net(TBTBPN), and the growth of leaf length and stalk diameter was excellent in barely + hairy vetch material. For the underground root weight, the growth was the most excellent(30.19g) in the barley+ hairy vetch cultivation plot treated with OBPNTB. For the underground red discoloration and root rot, the incidence rate was the lowest in the plot treated with BPS in which the water leak in a levee was small than in the test plot treated with sun-shading net. For the ginsenoside content in the cultivation plot treated with TBTBPN, the ginsenoid content was the highest in the rey cultivation plot, and it was the highest in the cultivation plot treated with OBPNTB. Conclusion : The results of study suggested rye among green manures is the most suitable for the growth of ginseng; underground growth was the most prominent in the plot treated with sun-shading net material (black 1 + blue 3) and the underground ginsenoside content was the most prominent in the rye cultivation plot and the plot treated with the sun-shading sheet.

        ATO 복합사를 이용한 열차단 직물의 태양방사투과율 변화 연구

        In this study, we manufactured ATO (antimony tin oxide) combined fibers to improve solar energy transmittance of sunscreen fabrics. The results indicate that the solar energy transmittance is improved with increasing sheath ratios and ATO content. We observed that the MS2-7W sample with 50:50 sheath/core ratio and 3 wt% of ATO content show the best performance. We also manufactured the sunscreen fabrics using the developed ATO combined fibers to check the performance of the thermal barrier. The results of the solar energy transmittance analysis show that an approximate 58% improvement was achieved for the thermal barrier over the commercial sunscreen fabric without any ATO content.

        단일 밴드 중적외선 영상으로부터 표면온도 추정을 위한 기초연구

        3~5μm 파장대의 중적외선 영상은 화산 활동이나 산불과 같이 고온 현상을 관측하는데 효과적이다. 그러나 중적외선 영역은 지표의 복사율과 대기의 영향으로 인한 변화가 매우 심하고, 특히 낮 영상의 경우 태양 복사량에 의한 영향도 고려해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 단일밴드인 중적외선 영상을 이용하여 표면온도를 얻기 위해서는 영상이 취득된 시간과 장소에서 관측된 태양 복사량 및 여러 가지 대기 변수가 필요하다. 이 연구는 기존의 다중밴드 기반의 중적외선 영상 활용방법과 달리 단일 밴드 중적외선 영상을 이용하여 표면온도 측정을 위한 기초연구에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 MODIS 영상을 대상으로 MODTRAN을 사용하여 중적외선 영역의 대기보정 기법을 적용 한 뒤 복사전달 모델을 이용하여 지표의 온도를 측정하였다. 획득된 온도 영상의 정밀도를 측정하기 위해 기존의 온도 알고리즘인 MODIS Sea Surface Temperature 알고리즘에 의해 얻어진 해수온도와 비교를 통하여 오차 원인에 대해 분석을 실시하였다. 두 결과의 온도 차는 낮 영상의 경우 0.89±0.54℃ 밤 영상의 경우 1.25±0.41℃로 비교적 긍정적인 결과를 보였다. 그러나 낮 영상의 육지의 경우 대기에 의한 영향보다 태양빛의 반사가 주된 오차의 원인이 되며 이는 지표 복사율에 의한 영향이 매우 크게 작용하고 있음을 추정할 수 있다. 이 연구는 현재까지 해수에 대한 적용에 국한된 것으로 육상의 경우 복사율 변화가 매우 크기 때문에 중적외선 단일밴드에 의한 온도추정이 매우 어려울 것으로 예상된다. Middle-infrared (MIR) spectral region between 3.0 and 5.0 μm in wavelength is useful for observing high temperature events such as volcanic activities and forest fire. However, atmospheric effects and sun irradiance in day time has not been well studied for this MIR spectral band. The objectives of this basic study is to evaluate atmospheric effects and eventually to estimate surface temperature from a single channel MIR image, although a typical approach utilize split-window method using more than two channels. Several parameters are involved for the correction including various atmospheric data and sun-irradiance at the area of interest. To evaluate the effect of sun irradiance, MODIS MIR images acquired in day and night times were used for comparison. Atmospheric parameters were modeled by MODTRAN, and applied to a radiative transfer model for estimating the sea surface temperature. MODIS Sea Surface Temperature algorithm based upon multi-channel observation was performed in comparison with results from the radiative transfer model from a single channel. Temperature difference of the two methods was 0.89±0.54℃ and 1.25±0.41℃ from the day-time and night-time images, respectively. It is also shown that the emissivity effect has by more largely influenced on the estimated temperature than atmospheric effects. Although the test results encourage using a single channel MIR observation, it must be noted that the results were obtained from water body not from land surface. Because emissivity greatly varies on land, it is very difficult to retrieval land surface temperature from a single channel MIR data.

        한국 전통장류가 한우 반힘줄모양근(M. Semitendinosus)으로 제조한 건염햄의 육질 특성에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to develop a processing method for dry-curing beef ham with Korean traditional sauces and to investigate the quality properties of the dry-cured beef hams. Semitendinosus muscle from Hanwoo was spread with sundried salt (C), sun-dried salt mixed with red pepper paste (T1), and sun-dried salt mixed with soybean paste (T2), and inserted into washed Hanwoo large intestine. It was then dried and fermented for 75 d. Moisture contents of the hams were 46-48%, without any significant differences. T1 showed the lowest pH among the three dry-cured hams, while water holding capacity (WHC) of T2 was found the lowest (p<0.05). In mechanical color determination, C showed higher CIE $a^*$ and CIE $b^*$ than T1 and T2 (p<0.05), however CIE $L^*$ did not show any significant difference. In texture, T1 demonstrated significantly lower springiness than C (p<0.05). The sensory properties of all dry-cured hams did not show any significant difference, but T1 indicated a higher taste, saltiness and overall acceptability than others, whereas C gathered the highest score in color and flavor. In conclusion, the dry-curing by combination of sun-dried salt mixed with red pepper sauce (T1) showed higher quality properties of the Hanwoo dry-cured ham. 우리나라 전통장류를 건염햄 제조에 접목한 건염햄의 제품을 개발하기 위해 염지과정에서 첨가한 고추장과 된장이 건염햄 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자 실시하였다. 천일염(C), 천일염+고추장(T1), 천일염+된장(T2)을 한우의 반힘줄모양근(m.emitendinosus)의 표면에 골고루 발라주고 세척한 한우 대장에 충진한 후 75일 동안 건조 및 발효시켰다. 한우 반힘줄모양근 건염햄 품질을 조사한 결과, 건염햄 수분함량은 46.45-48.04% 수준으로 유의적인 차이는 없었다. T1은 모든 처리구 중에서 pH가 가장 낮았고 T2는 WHC가 가장 낮았다(p<0.05). 기계적 육색 측정에서 C가 $a^*$와 $b^*$가 전통장류 처리(T1, T2)보다 높았으나(p<0.05), $L^*$은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 조직감에서 T1은 C보다 탄력성이 유의적으로 낮았다(p<0.05). 관능평가 결과 모든 처리구에서 유의적인 차이가 없었고 C는 제품색과 향미가 높은 점수를 받은데 반해, T1은 높은 맛, 짠맛, 그리고 전체적 기호도가 다른 처리구에 비해 높았다.

      • 농촌지역 주민의 근골격계의 통증에 대한 조사

        Musculoskeletal disorders are a major cause of occupational disabilities. Approximately thirty percent state that the major reason for an inability to work is a musculoskeletal problem. A farm work is associated with increased stress and trauma to joints. Chronic overuse injuries are a result of stresses that exceed the body's adaptive or healing capabilities. They can occur in bone, tendons and muscle-tendon-bone junctions. The aim of the investigation was to the study the frequency of pain, ache, and discomfort in the musculoskeletal system among farmers, to find possible correlations between these symptomes and various working positions and different working actions. A questionnaire was answered by 138 farmers. Of those who answered the questionnaire 82% had pain and discomfort from back, shoulders, arms in orders. The result showed the musculoskeletal pain predominate in the farming seasons, and of those who had pain and discomfort 89% thought that farm works had a correlation with the pain and discomfort of musculoskeletal system. But only 17% of questionnaire were put to periodic medical examinations, and 50% of those who had pain and discomfort consulted a doctor. Education in effective pain treatment should therefore be intensified to ascertain that farmers in rural areas have satisfactory knowledge of the musculoskeletal pain as a chronic overuse syndrome.

        교합 거상 금관이 어린이 교합 발육에 미치는 영향

        혼합 치열기에서 유치의 탈락 및 영구치의 맹출 과정이 순조롭게 이루어지는 것은 중요한 일이다. 맹출 중인 치아는 인접치유무, 유치의 흡수속도, 유치의 조기상실, 만기잔존, 국소병소나 입술, 혀, 저작근 등의 다양한 요인들에 의해 영향 받을 수 있으며, 이러한 요소들 사이의 균형이 깨지게 되면 인접치 간의 관계가 변하고 심각한 부정교합이 초래될 수 있다. 본 증례는 유치열 및 혼합치열을 가진 어린이들에서 상하악 구치부 교합면에 접착된 교합 거상 금속 스플린트(bite raising metal splint)가 치열에 미친 영향에 대해 보여주고 있다. 이들은 스플린트로 인한 유치의 만기잔존으로 영구치 맹출에 방해를 받거나, 전치부 개방교합, 제 1대구치의 저위 맹출 등 혼합 치열기 발달에 큰 영향을 받고 있었다. 치료로써 고속 핸드피스를 이용하여 스플린트를 제거하고 주기적 점검을 통해 교합변화 및 영구치 맹출 양상을 관찰하였다. Children are in mixed dentition during 6 years after 3 years old. this time is very important for sound permanent dentition. There are many factors of influence to tooth eruption stage ; adjacent teeth, tooth resorption, early loss or retention of deciduous tooth, local lesion, lip and tongue, masticatory muscles, ect. These factors should be in balance, if not, relation of adjacent teeth is changed, then severe malocclusion is occurred maybe. These cases revealed influences of resin bonded metal splint on occlusal surface of children's molar to mixed dentition. Splints interfere with falling off of deciduous tooth, tooth eruption, normal occlusion formation, and development of mixed dentition and occlusion. Therefore we removed the metal splint from teeth, follow-up checked occlusion and tooth eruption.
