Outage Capacity Analysis for Cooperative DF and AF Relaying in Dissimilar Rayleigh Fading Channels

Cooperative relaying permits one or more relay to transmit a signal from the source to the destination, thereby increasing network coverage and spectral efficiency. The performance of cooperative relaying is often measured as outage probability. However, appropriate measure for the channel quality is outage capacity. Although the outage probability for cooperative relaying protocol has been analyzed before, very little research has been addressed for the outage capacity. This paper is the first of its kind to derive a closed-form analytical solution of outage capacity using fixed decode and forward relaying and amplify and forward relaying in dissimilar Rayleigh fading channels, considering channel coefficients known to the receiver side. The analytical results show a tradeoff between the SNR and the number of relays for specific outage capacity. A comparison between decode and forward relaying and amplify and forward relaying shows that decode and forward relaying outperforms amplify and forward relaying for a large number of relays.

This paper proposes a study of the visible light communication system. These systems are the novel A technology that can modulate the TEXT data along with the light sources and send the modulated signal form the transmitter to the receiver by using the light with a frequency range of 400 ? 800nm.The aim of this paper is to transmit the serial TEXT data pass through the 5W LED lamp illumin ating to a photodiode of the receiver. The received signal was amplified and transmitted to the computer. The results of the proposed method are shown the baud rate of data transmitted by the system was 115200 and the maximum of the distance between the transmitter and receiver was 5.4 meters.
Analysis of Lightness and Chroma as Influencing Factors on Colour Harmony

This study aimed to investigate effects of lightness and chroma on perceived colour harmony of colour pairs that were displayed on a CRT monitor. The experimental colour samples were divided into two sets according to the factors under study. There were 42 and 33 single colours, which were systematically selected from the CIECAM02 colour space, for lightness and chroma sets, respectively. All possible combinations of single colours were generated to obtain 861 and 528 colour pairs for the relevant sets. Twenty Thai observers assessed the colour pairs one at a time and rated the degree of colour harmony from -5 (completely disharmonious) to 5 (completely harmonious). The results indicated that lightness and chroma had impacts on colour-harmony scores. Colour pairs with high lightness were more harmonious than those with low lightness. Similar results were found in the case of chroma, i.e. high chroma colour pairs had high colour-harmony scores. It was also found that white was the most harmonious colour when paired with the other colours, whilst grey was the least.

The paper is an attempt to explore various aspects of Thai traditional cake culture in order to understand the characteristics of Thai tradition cakes and their significance in Thai cultural life. The study will focus on cake culture in both folk culture and court culture as well as observe the changes of this culture in the present time of globalization. In the text book on Thai Khanom, Kobkhaew Natpinit sums up the characteristic of Thai traditional 'Khanom' as follows: 1. Thai traditional (cake) Khanom are mostly made from rice, sugar and coconut. 2. The tastes of Thai Khanom are sweet and rich in coconut cream with a little bit of salty taste to enhance the flavour of coconut. 3. The colour and scents of Thai Khanom are naturally fragrant. Fresh fragrant flowers are used to add pleasing fragrance and colour to Thai Khanom.
Stability of 2-D Discrete Systems in the Presence of Saturation Function and Delays

A variety of economically relevant processes are better modeled by using two-dimensional (2-D) models, which is the case, for instance, in metal rolling and the pharmaceutical industries. Typically Roesser and Fornasini Marchesini Local State Space (FMSLSS) models incorporate delayed states leading to a challenging stability analysis task. The main contribution of this work is to provide new convex stability analysis criteria for discrete-time FMSLSS models under both saturating function and time-varying delays. In particular, the saturating function tailors the digital control behavior, capturing the effect of finite wordlength. With Wirtinger and reciprocally convex sum lemmas, these new conditions can achieve less conservative results than other recent literature methods. Consequently, as illustrated by examples, this proposal enlarges the class of systems that can be stable-certified, still keep reasonable the associated computational effort.

태국 근대시에 표현된 자연, 사랑 그리고 계몽사상 수찌뜨라 총스띳바따나 출라롱콘 대학교 태국연구소 소장 suchitra.c@chula.ac.th 본 논문은 불교에서 많은 영향을 받은 태국 근대시에 표현된 자연, 사랑 그리고 계몽사상의 조화를 연구하였다. 연구주제로 태국 근대시를 선택한 이유는 태국문학의 유산에 끼친 불교의 지속적인 영향을 조명하기 위함이다. 본 연구를 위하여 선택한 시들은 현대에도 많이 읽혀지고 있는 안칸 칼라야나퐁, 나오와랏 퐁파이봄, 파이와린 카옹감, 그리고 삭시리 메솜수엡 등과 같은 작가의 작품들이다. 이 작가들의 시에 표현된 공통적인 특성은 자연, 사람, 그리고 계몽사상이라는 주제들 간의 조화이다. 모든 주제들이 절묘하게 엮여져서 본래 불교시였던 것이 인간의 보편적인 시로 변화되는 결과를 낳는다. 아라칸 칼라야나퐁은 종종 자연을 지혜와 연민을 표상하는 것으로 묘사하고, 자연에 대한 사랑을 계몽사상에 대한 도구로 주창한다. 삭시리 메솜수엡은 자연의 단순함과 고요함을 계몽사상의 지혜를 쌓을 수 있도록 유도하는 명상적 각성을 제공하는 자아발전의 수단으로 바라본다. 이들 근대 작가들의 교훈적인 시에 나타나는 자연, 사랑 그리고 계몽사상의 조화는 다양성 속의 지속적인 통합으로 상징되는 동남아 문화의 불교적 유산에 대한 명백한 증거이다. 주제어 : 태국 근대시, 자연, 사람, 계몽주의, 불교
