정성일의 <오아시스> 비판에 투영된 관점의 가능성과 한계 - 정성일 영화비평에 대한 일고찰 -

본 연구는 영화비평가 정성일이 <오아시스>(이창동, 2002)에 대해서 쓴 비평문「판타지, 기만적인 환영술」을 비판적으로 분석한다. 그간 한국영화계에서 영화비평은 독립적인 분과로 논의되지 못했다. 산적하는 영화들 안에서 영화적 가치를 발굴해 정리하고 새로운 영화 언어를 대중 언어로 번역하는 것이 영화비평의 역할이라 했을 때 이는 문제가 있다. 영화비평에 대한 그간의 접근은 한국영화사의 맥락에서 특정 영화비평집단을 세대론적으로 조망하거나 특정 개인의 비평 세계를 전기적 관점에서 서술한 것에 머문 한계가 있다. 정성일은 1990년대 한국영화비평의 전성기를 주도했던 한국의 대표적인 영화비평가이다. 호불호가 갈리지만 그의 글은 대중들 사이에서 영화비평이라는 개념이 성립되는 과정에 주요한 이미지를 제공했다. 특히 본 연구가 다루는 정성일의<오아시스> 비판은 논쟁 참여를 전제해 작성된 덕분에 비평담론 자체가 중심에 서있고 무엇보다 정성일의 영화에 대한 태도가 여타의 글에 비해 명확하게 드러나는 특징이 있다. 더구나 그 논쟁은 영화의 윤리, 완성도, 자의식 등을 두고 벌어진 영화비평계 내부의 마지막 논쟁이라는 영화비평사적 의의도 있다. 나아가 영화 한편에 대한 긴 글이기 때문에 한국의 대표적 비평가가 영화를 비평하는 구체적 실천 양상이 현장감 있게 녹아 있기도 하다. 영화를 종교처럼 대한다는 비판이 존재하지만 정성일 영화비평의 경쟁력은 숏의 배치, 장르 문법, 카메라 시선과 같은 영화의 자의식을 정밀하게 분석하는 것에서 나온다. 영화란 무엇인가와 같은 근본적인 질문에 기반을 둔 이런 태도는 영화를 여타의 학문에 종속시킨 종래의 비평 태도와 차별되며 영화를 진지하게 바라보는 태도를 대중화시킨 의의가 있다. 하지만 그것만큼의 오류도 발견된다. <오아시스>를 비판할 때 투영되는 정성일의 관점의 가능성과 한계를 구체적으로 밝힘으로써 한국영화비평의 전성기를 주도했던 한 영화비평가의 개성적 세계관을 비판적으로 조망하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 독립적인 분과로 인식되기는커녕 죽음까지 운운되는 영화비평의 위기 시대에 한국의 대표적 영화비평가의 세계관이 상징적으로 녹아 있는 글을 정밀하게 분석하는 것은 그것 자체로 의미 있다. This study analyzes the critique “Fantasy, deceptive hallucination” which sung-il jung wrote about < Oasis >(Changdong Lee 2002). Film critique has not been recognized and discussed as an independent field in the Korean film industry so far. It can be problematic if the role of film criticism is to get the cinematic values arranged among the pile of films and to translate new cinematographic language into the public language. The approach to the film critique to this point has limitation that in the context of Korean film industry, it viewed certain group of film critics in the perspective of theory of generation and it described certain person`s world of criticism in a biographical way. sung-il Jung is one of the representative film critics in Korea who lead the golden age of Korean film criticism in the 1990s. His writings provided important image in the process of establishing the concept of film critique among the public, even though they are controversial. The Jung`s criticisms this study exclusively deals with are based on the premise of argumentative participation, so the discourse is central and fundamental, and it brings out the cinematic view of Jung precisely compared to the other writings and articles, which is the advantages of this study. Moreover, the argument has significance in the field of film criticism for being the last dispute inside the field of film critique over the morals, degree of completion, and the consciousness of identity. Above and beyond, because this paper is a long writing about a movie, it contains detailed and vivid practical aspect which the representative critic of Korea criticizes the movie. Although there are criticisms of discussing movies like a form of religion, sung-il Jung`s film critique is competitive for detailed and precise analyze of films` sense of identity such as plot of shots, code of genre, and the eyes of cameras. This attitude based on the fundamental questions such as what is film is considered significant for popularizing and promoting earnest attitude toward movies, and is differentiated with the traditional attitudes of criticism which are to subordinate films in the other fields of study. However, due to being so, some errors are discovered. The purpose of this study is to critically outlook a distinctive world view of a film critic who enjoyed the film critique`s prime by concretely describing its possibilities and limitations through revealing Jung`s point of view which is his prerequisite for watching movies. The work of precise analyzing of one of the Korean representative film critics` writings which contains symbolic world view is significant and meaningful by itself in the time of the film criticisms` crisis when the idea of the demise of film criticism is being mentioned, let alone its separation as the independent field.

Objectives : This report intended to estimate effects of Jung-an acupuncture on the acquired torticollis caused by muscle contraction. Methods : The patients were treated by Jung-an acupuncture, herb medication and Physical treatment daily. The improvement of the patients was judged by Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale(TWSTRS), Tsui's score and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Results : After 7 days of treatment, the 2 patients' neck pain and cervical movement were improved. Also, TWSTRS score, Tsui's score and VAS were all reduced. Conclusions : As the Jung-an acupuncture's theological base is organized with meridian theory and myofacial release therapy, We considered the Jung-an acupuncture is effective not only for the skin disease but also for the muscle problem such as torticollis.

정재만류 산조춤의 형성배경과 춤의 특징 : ‘청풍명월(淸風明月)’을 중심으로

The study is concerned with clarifying the formation background of Jeman Jung's Sanjo Dance and the dance characteristics on the basis of the art world. the conclusion of the study is as follows. First, it was found that the dance composition of 'Twilight', the work of the late Beom Eui Song who was the master, was similar to the introduction and closing of Jeman Jung's Sanjo Dance and affected the formation background of the dance. Second, it was found from the type of providing the emotional change and elevation through the 2nd separation appearing in the latter part that the characteristics of the dance of the late Yeong Suk Han was contained. Third, it was found that the fan using technique shown in Jeman Jung's Hallyangmu affected the formation background. Fourth, the dance composition consists of introduction, expansion, development, peak, and closing. Fifth, the feminine dance is added to Geomungo with the masculine tone so that the charm of the androgynous dance is shown. Sixth, the dance was choreographed on the basis of the image of the nature union thought pursuing harmony with nature. Seventh, the beauty of temperance as the characteristics of the late Yeong Suk Han's dance movement is shown.

정재만 산조춤《청풍명월 淸風明月》의 구성과 의미

The study is concerned with addressing the dance composition and meaning contained in Jeman Jung’s Sanjo Dance called Cheongpungmyeongweol. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, Jeman Jung has the characteristics of the progressive arts activities establishing the popularization of the Korean dance and the various repertoires of the traditional creative dance. Second, the dance composition and meaning of Cheongpungmyeongweol are the five units of ideality, nature, freedom, sublimation, and return. Third, according to the explanation focusing on the dance meaning, ideality is the world of cleanness meaning dignity. Nature is the world of the abundance meaning harmony. Freedom is the world of brightness meaning freeness. Sublimation is the world of moon meaning the dual structure separating nature from me. Return means going back. Fourth, it is the dance containing the thought on the unity of heaven, earth, and a human being. It is desirable to do the study on the Korean traditional dance work and the continued study addressing the dancer’s emotion and the philosophy underlying the dance choreography further.

A Study on Korean EFL Learners` Refusal Strategies with Implication for Interlanguage Pragmatics

Among the speech acts we engage in daily, request is frequently used in conversation to fill the various needs and enhance interpersonal relationships. Refusals to requests are one of face-threatening acts because interlocutors` negative face can be threatened. In light of cross-cultural communication, therefore, even for the fluent EFL learners, the inappropriate use of refusals in some situations often results in interpersonal communication breakdown. Relying on the two means of data collection from 20 Korean EFL learners and 20 native English speakers, the study examined how the Korean EFL learners perform refusal speech act when they refuse to comply with requests and how their speech act of refusals differ from those of native speakers of Standard varieties of English. The results showed that unlike native English speakers, Korean EFL learners preferred direct strategies, particularly a modal form can`t, to perform the speech act of refusals in both addressee dominance and status equal contexts. Pedagogical implications were made for giving instructions on speech acts in English as a foreign language and helping the EFL learners develop pragmatic competence for successful communication. 산업단지 및 일반생활 지역의 공기 중 톨루엔에 대한 개인노출 및 생체시료의 상관성 분석

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the correlation relationship between personal exposure and urinary hippuric acid in biological monitoring for airborne toluene in an industrial complex and in general environments. Methods: Personal exposure to toluene and its metabolite, hippuric acid, in urine were simultaneously measured in occupational environments area near an industrial complex and in general environments. The study subjects were divided into three types: 137 workers who use organic solvents in the workplace, 210 residents living near a dyeing industrial complex, and 379 residents living in general environments. The toluene exposures of workers and residents were measured by a passive sampler for four days. The urine of participants was sampled when the passive samplers of personal exposure were collected. Results: The toluene and hippuric acid concentrations of workers were the highest, followed by the concentrations of residents living near a dyeing industrial complex and residents living in general environments. The coefficient of correlation between the concentrations of toluene and hippuric acid among workers was 0.749 (p<0.01) in the workplace. On the contrary, correlations between the concentrations of toluene and hippuric acid among residents living near a dyeing industrial complex and residents living in general environments were all not significant. The relationship between the concentrations of hippuric acid and toluene in three types could be described by the exponential growth model. Conclusions: This study analyzed the relationships between toluene exposure and the concentrations of hippuric acid in urine in high, middle, and low exposure environments, and could be described by the exponential growth model.

Method for Protection of Single‑Line‑Ground Fault of Distribution System with DG Using Distance Relay and Directional Relay

When large scales DG are connected to the distribution system of unidirectional power currents, bi-directional power currents are formed, making it impossible to use conventional overcurrent protection methods alone to detect and isolate fault sections for ground and short-circuit faults. To solve these problems, this study proposed the method of protection against single-line-ground fault of common neutral line multi-contact local power distribution system using distance relay and directional relay. The proposed protection method was applied to the common neutral multi-ground distribution system to validate the protection against single-line-ground fault through the PSCAD/EMTDC software package and efectively detect and isolate only the zone of single-line-ground fault without malfunctions.

Goethes"Italienische Reise"ist kein Reisebuch, dem sick der Italienfahrer anvertrauen Boll, sondern eine Selbstdarstellung, d.h. ein Stu¨ck seiner Autobiographie. Das Buch dokumentiert Goethes Erfahrung der antiken Kunst, sein Suchen nach Einheit von Natur und Menschenwerk und zeigt seine Kunstauffassung. Es gilt als ein Zeugnis der Wiedergeburt des Denkens und Schaffens, die Goethe in Italien erfahren hat. Im allgemeinen werden die folgenden drei Gru¨nde genannt, die Goethe zu seiner Reise nach Italien gebracht haben: seine von Jugend an lebendige Sehnsucht nach dem Su¨den; die Flucht aus der Enge Weimars; das Gefu¨hl, in Italien sein so lange verdra¨ngtes Ku¨nstlertum zuru¨ckzugewinnen, sich dort innerlich zu wandeln. Der Aufenthalt Goethes in Italien dauerte etwa 20 Monate. Die Betrachtung von Werken der bildenden Kunst stand im Mittelpunkt seines Lebens. Neben den Kunstwerken Roms und der su¨dla¨ndischen Landschaft zog ihn besonders die italienische Lebenssitte an. Er besuchte Theaterauffu¨hrungen, Prozessionen und Kirchenfeste, schließlich im Februar 1788 auch den Ro¨mischen Karneval. Natur, menschliche Gesellschaft und Kunst sind die drei großen Themen, die Goethe in Italien bescha¨ftigt haben. Nicht in der Geschichte oder der Theologie, sondern in der Natur hat Goethes Menschenbild seinen Ursprung. Er sieht den Menschen aber nicht nur als Einzelwesen, sondern als Gemeinschaftswesen. Der Begriff des Volkes ist also von seinem Menschenbild untrennbar. Kunst ist nichts anderes als Natur auf ihrer ho¨chsten Stufe. Die Erfahrung all dieser Eindru¨cke bedeutete fu¨r ihn eine seelische Erneuerung. Er glaubte,"eine Vera¨nderung bis aufs innerste Knochenmark"zu erfahren. Durch die Auseinandersetzung mit Goethes Reise nach Italien gewinnen wir ein Exempel der Kunst zu reisen. In der damaligen Phase seines Lebens bedeutete Goethe die Reise nach Italien die Mo¨glichkeit, sick ku¨nstlerisch zu erneuern und fu¨r sein Vaterland wieder fruchtbar wirken zu ko¨nnen. Auf der Reise erreichte er die grundlegende Erneuerung seiner selbst.

공간분석을 활용한 서울시 무단횡단 사고분석과 대응방안

국내 무단횡단 사고 발생건수는 2014년 4,093건에서 2016년 5,761건으로 계속 증가하고 있다. 이러한 추세는 무단횡단이 또 하나의 사회문제로 떠오르고 있음을 의미한다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 무단횡단 사고가 자주 발생하는 장소를 찾고 그 특징을 분석하여 무단횡단 사고를 예방하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 도로교통공단의 TAAS교통사고정보 개방시스템에서 제공한 서울시 보행자 무단횡단사고 데이터를 QGIS의 포인트 매핑(Point Mapping) 및 커널밀도 추정법(Kernel Density Estimation)으로 무단횡단 핫스팟 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 핫스팟 지역으로 선정된 곳은 종로구, 영등포구, 구로구, 중구의 일부 지점으로서 높은 밀도의 핫스팟 그리드를 가지고 있었으며 그 지역을 중심으로 무단횡단 핫스팟 군집을 형성하고 있었다. 이 지점들은 대개 지하철역과 버스정류장과 같이 교통량이 많고 인구이동률이 높은 장소에 분포하고 있었으며 재래시장과 같은 상업시설이 분포해 있었다. 또한 핫스팟으로 선정된 지역에서는 중앙선 및 도보 펜스가 부재하거나 파손된 경우가 많았다. 이 연구는 이러한 무단횡단 핫스팟 분석을 바탕으로 상황적 범죄예방(Situational Crime Prevention) 전략을 통해 무단횡단 발생을 예방하는 방법을 탐색하였다. Domestic jaywalking accidents are continuously increasing from 4,093 cases in 2014 to 5,761 cases in 2016. This trend implies that the jaywalking is emerging as another social problem. In this study, we propose a method to prevent a jaywalking accident by searching for a place where such jaywalking accident happens frequently and analyzing its characteristics. For this purpose, jaywalking hotspot analysis was carried out using the point mapping and kernel density estimation methods through the QGIS using pedestrian jaywalking incident data provided by TAAS traffic accident information opening system of Road Traffic Corporation. As a result of the research, the hotspot areas in Jongno-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Guro-gu, and Jung-gu have high density hotspot grid and they formed an jaywalking hotspot cluster around the area. These areas were mostly located in high traffic areas such as subway stations and bus stops, and high population moving places and commercial facilities such as traditional markets were distributed. Also, in the areas selected as hotspots, the center line and the walking fence were often absent or damaged. Based on the analysis of the jaywalking hotspots, situational crime prevention strategies were sought to prevent the occurrence of jaywalking.

한국인에서 혈소판 당단백 Ⅱb/Ⅲa 유전자 다형성과 관동맥 성형술 후 재 협착과의 관계

Platelet aggregation is the final pathway of acute coronary syndrome such as acute myocardial infarction and unstable angina. Platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa is a membrane receptor for fibrinogen and yon Willebrand factor and it plays an important role in platelet aggregation and in the pathogenesis of acute coronary syndrome. It is known that polymorphism of the gene that encoding platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa(PI^A1/A2) is strongly related to acute coronary syndrome in Caucasian, but not in Koreans. We investigated relationship between platelet glycoprotein llb/Illa gene polymorphism and restenosis of coronary artery after angioplasty in Koreans. Total 371 patients(M=251. F=120) were enrolled. Angioplasty group comprised 143 patients who underwent coronary angioplasty, and in the angioplasty group, restenosis group comprised with the 65 patients who had restenotic lesion over 50% of luminal diameter in follow-up coronary angiography. Normal group comprised 153 patients who had no significant angiographic lesion and variant angina group comprised 75 patients who were positive in ergonovine test. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral arterial blood. To determine the frequency of P1^A1/A2 genotype, polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was done and the product was restricted with Mspl. 3%. agarrose gel electrophoresis showed restriction fragment length polymorphism. Clinical profile and risk factor were also reviewed. Among all 371 patients of study group, genotype of only one patients in restenosis group if is proven to be PI^A1/A2 heterozygote. All patients of normal study group, no restenosis group, and the other patients in restenosis group have an PI^A1 homozygote genotype. In our study, platelet glycoprotein IIb/Illa polymorphism has no relationship with restenosis of the coronary artery after angioplasty in Koreans. But the genotypic frequency of platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa gene polymorphism in Koreans is concordant with that of previous studies.
