      • 2,4-D 處理가 'Harcot' 살구와 '美白' 복숭아의 果實 成熟과 品質에 미치는 影響

        Effect of 2,4- D application on the fruit maturity and quality of 'Harcot' apricot and 'Mibaek' peach was examined. Leaf area of 'Harcot' apricot was not affected by 2,4-D while that of 'Mibaek' peach was increased by 35mg · L-1 2,4-D. Application of 2,4-D at 35mgㆍL-1 increased the fruit weight of both species, and that of 'Harcot' was doubled. Soluble solids content of 'Harcot' was decreased by 2,4-D while that of 'Mibaek' was not affected. Fruit maturity of 'Harcot' and 'Mibaek' was enhanced for respective 4 and 1 day by 2,4-D application. Percent fruit cracking of 'Harcot' apricot was decreased by 35mg · L-1 2,4-D.

      • 단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고의 원인과 방사선학적 소견: 중례보고 및 가스분석 결과

        목 적:단무지 공장에서 질식사고를 일으켰던 가스의 종류를 알아내고, 이러한 가스중독의 방서선학적 소견을 소개하기 위하여 본 연구를 하였다. 대상 및 방법:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고자 3예중 생존자 1예를 대상으로 단순흥부X-선검사와 CT 소견을 분석하였으며, 가스의 종류를 알아내기 위하여 단무지를 유리병에 넣어 발생된 가스를 가스크로마토그래픽을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결 과:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식사고자중 생존한 1명의 방사선학적 검사에서 신속히 호전되는 폐경결(consolidation)을 볼 수 있었으며 이는 폐부종의 소견임을 알 수 있었다. 협기성 상태에서 단무지를 담은 유리병의 상층부 가스를 실험 분석한 결과 이산화탄소, 에칠알코올이 다량으로 검출되었으나 독성가스는 주로 황화수소이였다. 결 론:단무지 공장의 질식 사고자에서 폐방사선학적 소견은 폐경결을 보이는 폐부증으로서 이는 실험을 통해 단무지에서 발생되는 유독가스인 황화수소 때문임을 입증하였다. Purpose: To identify the main toxic gas released from salted radish in rice bran(Dan-M-Ji) and to introduce the radiological findings of the patient who was exposed to the gas. Materials and Methods: Chest radiographs and CT scans of one survivor among three men who were exposed to the gas from Dan-Mu-Ji were reviewed. Gas obtained from the closed bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was analized by using the gas chromatography. Results: The radiographlc examinations of the survivor were suggestive of pulmonary edema with it's rapidly improving consolidations in both lung. The headapace gas within the bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was mainly composed with carbon dioxide, ethyl alcohol and hydrogen sulfide, of which hydrogen sulfide was considered the main toxic gas released. Conclusion: Under the anaerobic condition, Dan-Mu-Ji released toxic hydrogen sulfide. Inhalation of hydrogen sulfide might produce non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema.

        In order to obtain the basic data for artificial maturity control of 'Mibaek' peach, GA and ethephon were foliar sprayed 4 weeks prior to harvest, and their effects on fruit maturity and quality were examined. GA and ethephon tended to decrease the fruit weight except 100mg ㆍ L-1 GA+50 to 100mg · L-1 ethephon treatment. GA increased the fruit firmness, and ethephon at higher concentration increased the fruit drop. Harvest date was advanced for 7 to 8 days by ethephon while was delayed for 6 to 8 days by GA treatment, regardless of concentration.

        This paper is an attempt to understand the background of establishing state colleges and universities in the United States and the process of forming their characters, and to identify their roles in the viewpoint of social needs. The founding of state institutions of higher education can be traced to the late eighteenth century. Their establishment was largely influenced by the utilitarianism and egalitarianism widespread in the United States during the period. The existing higher institutions could not meet new demands derived from the thoughts. Most of early colonial colleges were set up to train ministers and the limited number of leaders through the classical learning. Under theses circumstances were founded state colleges and universities that would offer equality of educational opportunity, would be free of sectarian control and would provide with practical learning.

        글라스 아이오노머 시멘트와 콤포짓트 레진 복합체의 물성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to synthesize the experimental compound by addition of glass ionomer cement to composite resin, and to estimate the optimum addition ratio of glass ionomer cement to composite resin for optimum physical properties. Experimental groups were prepared by addition of glass ionomer cement to composite resin. The mixing ratio of glass ionomer cement to composite resin was 25 vol. %, 50 vol. %, and 75 vol. %. A chemical-cured glass ionomer cement(FGI), a light-cured glass ionomer cement(FLC), and two light-cured composite resins(CHA and AEL) were used as control group. Shear bond strength, compressive strength, and fracture toughness of specimens were measured by a Instron universal testing machine. Surface hardness of specimens was evaluated by Vicker's hardness tester, and fluoride ion release from specimens was estimated by the fluoride ion electrode and standard solutions. Solubility of specimens in 0.1 M lactic acid solution was also measured. From the experiment, the following results were obtained : 1. The compressive strength of experimental compounds with chemical-cured glass ionomer cement and light-cured composite resin was increased with increasing composite resin content. And the compressive strength of experimental compounds with light-cured glass ionomer cement and light-cured composite resin did not changed significantly. 2. As light-cured composite resin was added to chemical-cured glass ionomer cement up to 50%, shear bond strength of experimental compound was decreased. And the experimental compounds with light-cured glass ionomer cement and light-cured composite resin were drastically decreased with light-cured composite resin addition. 3. Fracture toughness and surface hardness of experimental compounds were linearly increased by composite resin addition up to 75%. 4. As 25% composite resin was added to glass ionomer cement, the amount of fluoride ion release of experimental compounds was decreased by 50%. And the fluoride ion release from the experimental compound with 75% composite resin could be detected. As 25% composite resin was added to glass ionomer cements, the solubility of experimental compound was decreased by 33% and also decreased drastically with increasing the content of composite resin.

        치과용 합금의 부식성에 관한 연구

        Corrosion of dental alloys in the oral cavity can affect the mechanical, esthetic properties and efficiency of metallic restorations, and has great influence upon the local and systemic health of patients. The purpose of this study was to clarify the corrosion behavior of various dental alloys, and to measure the galvanic currents between dissimilar alloys. Fifty-eight kinds of dental casting alloys such as twenty-nine high gold alloys, ten low gold alloys, fourteen silver-palladium alloys, five base metal alloys, and twenty kinds of ceramic alloys such as seventeen noble metal alloys, three base metal alloys, were used as the experimental alloys. Modified Fusayama's artificial saliva titrated to pH 6.7 with phosphoric acid was used as an electrolyte. The specimens were immersed in the modified artificial saliva of 37℃. The rest potentials, anodic polarization curves, corrosion potentials, and galvanic currents were measured by using the potentiostat / galvanostat and zero shunt ammeter. From the experiment, the following results were obtained : 1) The gold based alloys showed the high rest potentials and the low current densities within experimental potential range. 2) The rest potentials and the current densities of the palladium-based alloys were influenced by the content of platinum, palladium, and silver. 3) In the nickel-chromium base alloys, the formations of passivation film were influenced by chromium content. The copper-aluminum alloy showed very high current density which was more than 150 mV . 4) The corrosion potentials of ceramic alloys were lower than those of dental casting alloys, but the trend of anodic polarizations were generally similar to the other alloys. 5) The amount of galvanic current and the polarity in the bimetallic galvanic cell could not be predicted considering only the alloy composition. The galvanic current decreased while the measuring time passed, but flew continuously.

      • 웹을 이용한 동시 학습 시스템에 관한 연구

        In the information society of the 21st century, we need new perspectives and diverse approaches for education. Thus it's one of the most important tasks in school education to develop a program that will help the students search, process and share information in the Internet as well as the classroom without any time and space limitations and do self-leading study. The task can be tackled by increasing the educational effects based on the development and utilization of a program highlighting the advantages of the web. Survey was conducted to analyze the results and use them as evaluative data. The web-based children‘s verse learning program developed in the study turned out to have some educational effects such as motivating the students to learn, inducing interactions from them, and creating diverse emotional changes influencing their growth of expressive abilities and personality education. 21세기는 정보화 사회로 교육 분야에서도 새로운 시각과 다양한 접근을 필요로 하고 있다. 이러한 현실에서 학교 교육 또한 교실에서의 수업뿐만 아니라 인터넷을 통하여 정보의 검색, 정보의 가공, 정보를 공유하며 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 자기 주도적인 학습을 할 수 있는 프로그램 개발의 과제를 안고 있다. 이러한 문제는 웹의 장점을 살린 프로그램의 개발 및 활용으로 교육적 효과를 높인다면 해결이 가능할 것이다. 본 논문은 초등학교 국어 교과에 나오는 동시 학습 단원을 선정하여 웹으로 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제작된 웹 기반 동시 학습 시스템은 학습자들에게 학습동기를 부여하고, 상호작용을 이끌어 내며, 표현력 신장 및 나아가서는 인성 교육에 영향을 미치는 다양한 정서의 변화를 가져다주는데 교육적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
