Children are naturally habituated to use text, image, sound, and video from multimedia’s diverse tools rather than a book, which is made up of verbal language. Various methods from applying multimedia (multidirectional methods rather than one way) are followed in South Korean education environment. Multimedia’s action and effectiveness have played an important role for new distance learning. However, if multimedia’s education application improperly becomes effective or is unsuitable for learners, utilizing multimedia’s education application may cause a side effect. This research recognizes the types of multimedia education curriculum and its potential and proposes more effective leaning messengers, learning environment and basic elements. As a result, this researcher analyzed the problems from multimedia learning environment and proposed improvement direction.
Vol.94 No.-
The Field of Life and Death, written by Xiao Hong(蕭紅), depicts perpetual samsara of violence and disaster, including Japanese invasion and local resistance of small town in Northeastern provinces of China. Preceding researches focused mainly on the Chinese resistance to Japanese army, or criticism on feudalism in rural village, or feminine bodily experience. However, inherent meaning of the text cannot be fully revealed with extrinsic discourses―nationalism, the Enlightenment, feminism, for example. In this study, I will revisit The Field of Life and Death in the light of “the Preface”, written by Lu Xun(魯迅), that argues ‘the strong will to live and struggle against death’ of the work. Zhao San and Madam Wang show an ambivalent way of revolution, while the shepherd Erliban, who opens and closes the text, illustrates the possibility of self-sacrifice for redemption. Furthermore, The Field of Life and Death can be a supplement or annotation about the death and the struggle[Zhengzha] of Lu Xun.
