        I studied Song, Gyu-ryeom`s life through his `Annual Report` and writing series, `Jewoldangjip` and the ideology of the society that he lived in through the country activity. Song, Gyu-ryeom was a famous Confucian scholar who lived in Hoedeok at the latter Choseon dynasty. He was called the one of the three prominent `Songs` with Uam, Song, Si-yeol, and Dongchundang, Song, Jun-gil. The reason why Song, Gyu-ryeom`s ancestors who lived in Hoedeok was that Song, Myung-eui(Song, Gyu-ryeom`s 10th ancestor) settled there as he became the son-in-law of Hwang, Su who lived in Hoedeok. Since then many famous Confucian scholars came out of Eunjin Songs` family members and they thrived through marrying the nobles. When Song, Gyu-ryeom was a boy, he experienced Byeonjahoran and the fall of the Ming Dynasty. He also spend his adolescence under the mood that people insisted to conquer the Cheong Dynasty. So it made him follow Song, Si-yeol and Song, Jun-gil`s political and ideologic way and he learned the basic of study from them. Song, Gyu-ryeom was respected as a Confucian scholar in Hoedeok. He emphasized `Hyangeumjurye`, `Hyangsarye`, `Reading methods` at the society of the country. `Hyangeumjurye` means that Confucian scholars in the country gathered at Hyanggyo or Seowon and had a feast with prominent Confucian scholars. The Confucians learned the manner to respect honest people, to take care of the old people, and to experience good courtesy there. Also he taught students devotionally at the Sunghyeonseowon. In 1672(Sukjong 2nd year), he built the Jewoldang inside his house and spent his whole life on studying Confucianism and teaching students. Teaching students at the Jewoldang and the Sunghyeonseowon was theoretical part and Hyangeumjurye was the reformation project which included the education of practical manner. Like this, Song, Gyu-ryeomtried to carry out `manner` through personality based on Neo-Confucianism And Song, Gyu-ryeom also had the social ideology of the autonomy of the country. That idea was shown in the preface of Hoedeok Hyangyack(1672) that he wrote. Hoedeok Hyangyack was made into one book with Hoedeok Hyangyan. Then Song, Si-yeol made the preface of Hoedeok Hyangyan and Song, Jun-gil wrote it. And Song, Gyu-ryeom wrote the preface of Hyangyack which was attached to the back of Hyangyan. He was the core member to make the Hoedeok Hyangyack with two Songs. The reason why he was called as the one of the three Songs of Hoedeok might be due to this work. Hyangyack was the regulation that Hyangwon made for education and cooperation of the country people. So the Hoedeok Hyangyack also had the content like that. The Jewoldang was the place where Song, Gyu-ryeom studied and taught students with all effort at his old age. Also it was the place where he built for just studying after he abandoned his will to have a government position. The education place like this was the sign that he wanted to live with the nature and worked hard for teaching students. Song, Gyu-ryeom`s country activity showed his social ideology to improve national customs from the country customs with the spread of Hyangyack.

      • Accuracy on the Edge Detection of Topography for Digital Map Manufacture

        Currently, digital maps in the metropolitan area are supposed to be revised and renewed every two years, but it is difficulty for the renewal of current information to keep pace with the quickly changing society and so, one of the alternative methods being discussed is a digital map produced using high resolution satellites. The biggest problem in the production of digital maps using high resolution satellite images is the difficulty of production in vector resource format through edge detection of satellite images, a Raster data. In this study, topographical boundaries were detected through edge detection of the satellite image, and after vectorliezing using the screen digitizing method, the results were evaluated and compared to the digital map from the NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) for accuracy.

        AB 슬라이드, 크런치 및 윗몸일으키기 운동이 복직근 근활성도에 미치는 효과 : Comparison of It `s Myoelectrical Activities with Crunch and Sit-Up

        The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of AB slide™ on abdominal muscles with Crunch and Sit-up. Myoelectrical activities of Rectus abdominis muscles produced by AB slide™, Crunch and Sit-up were recorded. Healthy male aged from 17 to 36 years(23.0±5.9 yrs) were included fo the test. Surface electrodes were attached to upper and lower part of Rectus abdominis of the study subjects. Averaged integrated electromyography(AIEMG) and Normalized integrated electromyography(NIEMG) were recorded. The results are summarized as follows; First, the AIEMG of Sit-up were highest among them with insignificant difference statistically. Second, the NIEMG of upper part of Rectus abdominis were higher than the one of lower part with significant difference statistically(p<0.05). This phenomenon was same irrespective of the type of exercises. AB slide™ was not more effective than Sit-up and Crunch for strengthening of Rectus abdominis muscle. The upper part of Rectus abdominis was more activated than the lower part by all three exercises.

      • RTK GPS 측량에 의한 토공량 산정과 DTM생성에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the calculation of earth volume in combination with RTK GPS and TS in the development district of residential land. It is the interpolation methods, the height , and the formula of volume calculation that the earth volume is calculated to compare with RTK and TS. As a result of comparing RTK with TS in the horizontal and vertical positions, the differences is 0.02m, 0.032m, and 0.100m at X, Y, and h. Through this results, the accuracy of RTK was confirmed, and took the average cut minus fill. The result was that TS has a lot of cut volume, and RTK has a lot of fill volume. and The cut and fill volume with RTK is much similar to that with TS, so it is applicable to the calculation of earth-volume. It is expected that RTK is applicable to a job site in no time and is the basis on the construction of DTM(Digital Terrain Model), the geometric correction of satellite imagery, and the construction of GIS database.

        강산 및 강알칼리 음독에서 냉각 용액을 사용한 희석 요법과 중화 요법의 가능성

        Background: There is no effective treatment modality for caustic agent ingestion. Dilution and neutralization are prohibited because of the risk of secondary thermal injury. This experiment is designed to evaluate the amount of dilution and neutralization heat and to gauge the applicability of dilution and neutralization therapy using cold solutions to suppress the peak temperature. Methods: This is an in-vitro chemical experiment. HCl, CH3COOH, NaOH, and NH4OH are selected as representatives of strong and weak acids and strong and weak alkali, respectively. 20℃, 11.6M, 5.8M, and 2.9M solutions of each acid and alkali are made and mixed using a magnetic stirrer at a room air temperature of 28℃. The peak temperature, the duration above 40℃, and the heat amount are measured or calculated. Results: When a 11.6M HCl or NaOH solution is diluted with same amount of water, 32 or 18cal. per mL of HCl or NaOH is produced, respectively. HCl produces a significant peak temperature, but NaOH does not. The lower the concentration, the lower the amount of heat production. 11.6M CH3COOH and NH4OH solutions don't produce dilution heat.11.6M and 5.8M solutions of all acids and alkali produce destructive neutralization heat. However, 2.9M solutions produce neutralization heat which might be controllable. When a 11.6M HCl or NaOH solution is neutralized with a -10℃ 2.9 M NaOH or HCl solution, respectively, the peak temperature produced is below 40℃ and seems to add little thermal damage to viable tissue. Conclusion: Dilution and neutralization with a cold solution in cases of strong acid or alkali ingestion is a promising method to avoid thermal injury.

      • 구속조건과 온도관리가 콘크리트 벽체의 균열 거동에 미치는 영향

        Mass concrete wall with external restraint has high possibility of thermal cracking due to thermal stress caused by heat of hydration. Specially the cracking control is the most important factor for the requirements of watertightness and durability of concrete structures. In this study, the results by finite element thermal analysis on concrete wall are compared with experimental data and verified, and then various parameters which affect thermal cracking of the wall are analyzed using the program. The parameters include cement and fly-ash contents, concrete placement volume, concrete placement temperature, and ambient temperature during concrete placement and curing. From the study it is concluded that pre-cooling method or the use of crushed ice which lower placement temperature down to 10℃ is the most effective way to control the thermal cracking of massive concrete walls.

        전산체계의 승법형 모델

        본 Paper 는 Computing System의 Modeling 및 Performance Evaluationd을 하기위한 Tool로써 Queueing Network models을 소개하였으며 그중에서도 Product Form Models 의 유용성과 그 가정으로써 Stochastic Assumptions 과 Operational Assumptions 을 비교하였다. 그리고 Performance Indices를 구하기 위하여 Normalization Constant Analysis 와 Mean Value Analysis 를 소개 비교하였다. 본 Paper 는 Tutorial paper 로써 modeling and performance Evaluation of Computing Systems 분야에 흥미와 Motivation을 주는데 그 목적이 있다. This tutorial paper presents the queueing network models of computer systems which lead to product form solutions. It introduces both the operational interpretation and the stochastic interpretation of the product form solution. The significant advantage of the product form solution is that it can be solved using very efficient algorithms employing very little amounts of computation and storage. It also exhibits two different approaches which have been used to develop efficient algorithms for calculating performance indices for product form models - i.e., normalizing constant analysis. and mean value analysis.

        임무위주의 星形 전산망의 Modeling

        본 논문에서는 대규모 조직(예, 대기업, 정부조직 등)에 적합한 임무위주의 성형 전산망(Mission Oriented Star Network)에 대한 연구를 위하여 두 개의 서로 다른 그러나 equivalent한 queueing network model들을 제안하였다. 전형적인 Star Network System 에 대한 기본적인 토의가 있은 후에 MOSN System의 두 개의 서로 다른 queueing network model 들의 특징을 비교 분석하였다. In this paper, two different queueing network models are proposed for the study of a Mission Oriented Star Network (MOSN) System, which is suitable for large organizations-e.g., corporations, governments, etc. After presenting some background information on a typical star network system, we characterize two different queuing network models for an MOSN system.

        In this paper, design and validation procedures for a longitudinal controller via hardware-in-the-loop simulation are presented. As new technologies related with ECU and in-vehicle network have been developed, the corresponding longitudinal controller for velocity control of the vehicle needs to be modified and validated experimentally. Since much development cost and effort during the design and validation process are in general required, a relatively quick and efficient design and validation method via hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) is proposed in the paper. Finally speed controller based on Dynamic Surface Control is designed and its performance results are validated via HILS.

        Pancreatic serous cystic neoplasms accompanying other pancreatic tumors

        <P>Serous cystic neoplasms (SCNs) are benign cystic neoplasms that predominantly occur in the tail of the pancreas in elderly women. It is well known that patients with von Hippel - Lindau syndrome can develop SCNs and neuroendocrine tumors in the pancreas. However, our understanding on SCNs accompanying other pancreatic tumors (SCNAOPTs) is limited. We compared the clinicopathological features of 15 surgically resected SCNAOPTs with 259 conventional SCNs. The prevalence of SCNAOPT was 5%. The SCNAOPTs were significantly smaller than conventional solitary SCNs, and they were more commonly observed in the head of the pancreas, whereas conventional solitary SCNs were more frequently noted in the body and tail. However, no differences were found in terms of sex, patient age, or the gross patterns of the SCNs. Accompanying neoplasms included 7 intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms, 1 colloid carcinoma arising from intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm, 6 neuroendocrine tumors, and 1 solid pseudo papillary neoplasm. Four neuroendocrine tumors associated with von Hippel Lindau syndrome occurred as multiples, whereas 2 neuroendocrine tumors without von Hippel Lindau syndrome were solitary. In summary, SCNAOPTs comprise 5% of all SCNs and tend to be smaller and located in the head of the pancreas. Common accompanying tumors include intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms, neuroendocrine tumors, and other neoplasms such as colloid carcinoma and solid pseudopapillary neoplasm.
