        복어중독에 의한 가사 상태에서 소생한 1예

        Tetrodotoxin is a neurotoxin produced by about 90 species of puffer fish and causes paralysis of central nervous system and peripheral nerves by blocking the movement of all monovalent cation. Ingestion of tetrodotoxin produces clinical manifestations such as paresthesias(within 10-45 min), vomiting, lightheadedness, salivation, muscle twitching, dysphagia, difficulty in speaking, convulsion and death that expressed by cardiopulmonary arrest with loss of brain stem reflex sometimes. Tetrodotoxin prevents or delays ischemia induced neuronal death by way of following 3 mechanisms. Firstly, it reduces the energy demand of the brain tissues. Secondly, it delays or even prevents anoxic depolarization. Finally, it deminishes ischemia induced cell swelling and cerebral edema. We report a case of puffer fish poisoning which presented with cardiopulmonary arrest and loss of brain stem reflex, but completely recovered by aggressive cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

      • Ln₃Ba?Co₄O? (Ln = Sm, Pr, Er, Gd, Ho) 상의 합성과 결정구조에 관한 연구

        The Ln₃Ba?Co₄O? phases were synthesized with Pr?O? Sm₂O₃, Er₂O₃, Gd₂O₃, Ho₂O₃, BaCO₃, and Co₃O₄by solid state reaction at 1200℃ with intermittent grinding. The phases with Pr and Sm formed hexagonal structure isostructural with Nd₃Ba?Co ₄O? phase Whereas the phases with Er, Ho, and Gd formed unknown cubic phases. The crystal structure of Sm₃Ba?Co₄O? phase were refined by X-ray diffraction powder data by means of Rietveld method. The starting model was based on the Nd₃Ba?Co₄O? structure. The Crystal system was hexagonal, space group P6₃mc, a=11.634(6)A, c=6.861(4)A for pr₃Ba?Co₄O? ; a=11.556(6)A, c=6.788(3)A for Sm₃Ba?Co₄O?. Final R values are : Rwp=0.121, Rp=0.084 for pr₃Ba?Co₄O?, Rwp=0.101, Rp=0.077 for Sm₃Ba?Co₄O? .

        冷凍冷藏倉庫 前室部 侵氣防止裝置의 適用에 關한 硏究

        This study aims to evaluate the economic performance of infiltration prevention devices for the refrigerated warehouse. It is showed that the cooling loads of refrigerated warehouses is changed by assembling of infiltration prevention devices in a previous study. Space loads and cooling energy costs according to the types of the infiltration prevention devices are analyzed by the DOE-2.1E simulation. Based on the Life Cycle Costs considered the costs of initial construction, repair·replace, cooling energy and operating energy, the probability of reducing energy consumption and application of infiltration prevent devices in vestibule of refrigerated warehouse is founded.

        In this paper, we designed, implemented and evaluated 32-bit CLA adder with the ENMODL(enhanced NORA Multiple Output Domino Logic) logic style which is new dynamic CMOS logic. The circuit is implemented using 0.8㎛ CMOS double-metal process technology. It operates stably and the addition time is less 3.9 ns. The ENMODL logic style can improve the performance in the high-speed computing circuits depending on the degree of recurrence.

      • 開墾地의 耕耘整地및 丞水路作業에 關한 硏究

        It is necessary to develop and supply special equipment suitable for reclaimed area agriculture in accordance with the progress of agricultural mechanization. But it is more worth while to consider how to effectively use the machinery such as tractors and power tillers which have already been supplied for reclaimed area agriculture. Thus we have carried out an experiment to study the working rate slope and safety of the machine frame when this machinery is used in the area. 1. Plowing working rate of bottom plough was 35.8 minute per 10 ares on the 6 slope and 47.6 minutes on the 10 slope. These working rates were lower. than those of flat land by 44% and 33% respectively. Working rates of disc harrow on the 6 and 10 slopes were 55-76% of the working rates at the flat land. In case of power tiller, working rates on slopes were about 35-58% of those an float land. 2. Harrowing working rates on the Rotavator was 18.5 minutes per 10 ares on the 6 slope and 22.01 minutes on the 10 slope. 3. The working rate of making catch canals was 18.8 minutes per 50m of catch canal when a disc harrow was used on the 6 slope. 4. The real slope of the tractor body in the plowing operation in accordence with the different land slope is almost the same when plowing by bottom plough or plowing by disc plow. However, considering the overturn of tractor on the steep slope and the proliferation of roots it is better to plow by disc plough than by bottom plough. 5. During ploughing operation in the sloping area, the inclination of the tractor with bottom plough was more than that of the tractor equipped with disc harrow and for power tiller it was more with rubber tire than with cage wheel. 6. It was found that the steeper the slope is, the more was the slip of the tractor, or power tiller and the slip to the contour direction was more in conparition to the slip occured to the direction of the slope.

      • 蒲公英 水抽出物이 鎭通·抗炎作用에 미치는 影響

        This study carried out to know the effects of white flower (WHT) and yellow flower (YHT) of Herba Taraxaci on the antialgesia and antiinflammatory. The antialges were measured by the frequency of the writhing syndrome. The antiinflammatory were measured by the hindpaw edema and evalu ating the amount of reactive oxygen intermediate (ROI) in the neutrophils and macrophages. The result obtained were as follows : 1. Both WHT and YHT showed significantly analgesic effects. YHT was found to be more significant than WHT. 2. There were significant effect both WHT and YHT on the antiinflammatory, WHT were more significant than YHT of the two. 3. There were significant effect both WHT and YHT on the amount of ROI in the neutrophils and macrophages, YHT were more significant than YHT of the two. The results of this study suggested that Herba Taraxaci might be effective on the antialgestics and inflammatory diseases.

        리모델링을 위한 공동주택 조립기준면의 영역성 및 위계성 설계방안에 관한 연구

        Twenty years following their erection, the reconstruction of RC-structured apartment houses in Korea is under discussion. The life span of those houses in Korea is significantly shorter than those in other countries. For example, the average life span of similar buildings in Britain is 141 years, in France 86 years, in Germany 79 and in Japan 30 years. Repair or extensions are made for the followings reasons when there is room for a floor area ratio: economic and social reasons, life style matters, the appropriateness of the area, and limitations of functional durability. As mentioned above, the functional life is as important as the physical life. In particular, unlike other components, the life span of structure is exceptionally long and they do not age rapidly. For this reason, it is important to develop a method to maintain the components of rooms in the house in a systematical manner, serving the ultimate goal - elongating the functional life. As part of environmental-preserving policies, this study attempts to present the basic information crucial for the implementation of long-life houses by seeking MC and LC design application methods to extend the functional life of the components of the room in the apartment houses which is easy for remodeling and also to adopt zonning and hierarchy.

        족관절 내과골절에서 피질골 나사못을 이용한 변형된 긴장대 고정술

        목적 : 전위된 족관절 내과골절에 대해 피질골 나사못을 이용한 변형된 긴장대 고정술을 이용한 치료결과를 분석해 보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 2001년 1월부터 2003년 1월까지 전위된 내과골절에 대해 변형된 긴장대 고정술을 시행 받고 최소 1년 이상 추시관찰 가능 하였던 24례를 대상으로 하였다. 남자 13례, 여자 11례로 평균 연령은 46세였다. 골절은 Lauge-Hansen 분류법을 사용하였으며, 결과는 Meyer와 Kumler의 평가 방법을 이용하였다. 결과 : 13례 (54%)에서 우수의 결과를 얻었고, 9례 (38%)에서 양호의 결과를 얻었으며, 운동범위의 제한이 발생한 1례에서 보통, 후외상성 관절염이 발생한 1례에서 불량의 결과를 얻었다. 결론 : 전위된 족관절 내과골절에서 피질골 나사못을 이용한 변형된 긴장대 고정술은 견고한 내고정과 조기 관절 운동이 가능한 효과적인 수술 방법이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Purpose : To evaluate the clinical results of modified tension band wire technique using cortical screw for treatment of displaced medial malleolar fractures of the ankle. Materials and Methods : From January 2001 to January 2003, 24 patients were treated by modified tension band wiring using cortical screw for medial malleolar fracture. The follow-up period was 12~35 months (average 18 months). There were 13 males and 11 females, and the mean age was 46 years. Fractures were classified by Lauge-Hansen's classification. The results were analyzed by Meyer and Kumler's criteria. Results : There were 13 cases (54%) of excellent, 9 cases (38%) of good, and one case of fair because of limitation of motion of the ankle joint and one case of poor which showed post-traumatic arthritis of the ankle. Conclusion : Modified tension band wire technique using cortical screw can be an effective operative method for the treatment of displaced medial malleolar fractures of the ankle.

        In the literature study on the cerebral palsy, the results were as follows : 1.Cerebral palsy is defined as a disorder of movement and posture due to a defect or lesion of the immature brain. For practical purposes it is useful to exclude from cerebral palsy those disorders of posture and movement which are of short duration, due to a progressive disease, due solely to mental deficiency. 2.Cerebral Palsy is classified with quadriplegia, diplegia, hemi plegia, triplegia, and monoplegia or spastic CP, athetoid CP, ataxic CP, and combined classifications. 3.Causes of Cerebral Palsy is any damage with prenatal, natal and postnatal causes. 4.Management consists of helping the child achieve maximum potential in growth and development. This should be started as early as possible with identification of the very young child who may have a developmental disorder. Certain medications, surgery, and braces may be used to improve nerve and muscle coordination and prevent dysfunction. 5.The aim of treatment is to encourage children and adults to learn to be as independent as possible. Some children and adults who have midl cerebral palsy will have no problems in achieving independence 6.Oji(五遲),Oyeon(五軟) and Okyeong(五硬) have the simmiar concepts with the cerebral palsy. 7.Oji(五遲) Oyeon(五軟) and Okyeong(五硬) are caused by seoncheon-pumbu-bujok(先天稟賦不足) and related with gan(肝), bi(脾) and sin(腎). 8.The treatment is achieved by the method of bogansin(補肝腎), ganggeungol(强筋骨) and bojungikki(補中益氣). And jihwanghwan(地黃丸) has been used most frequently.

      • 성균관대학교 멀티미디어 원격교육 시스템(배움 한마당) 개발에 관한 연구

        We propose SKKU Multimedia Distance Education System for distance education between nature science campus(Suwon) and social science campus(Seoul) in Sung Kyun Kwan University on DooRae (Distributed Object Oriented Multimedia Application Crafting Environment for Collaboration) framework (or platform). We support ONE : N study mode for a group lecture and discussion between two campus, and also we support mediation for floor mode of a group lecture and brain storming for floor mode of discussion. The communication portocol of this system is composed of TCP/IP and UDP, and the network type is composed of WAN(El line)for between the Suwon campus and Seoul campus, ATM LAN for each campus(local site). And, this system supports the application development of the collaborative multimedia environment connected with the various network in the CBM (Computer based Multimedia) based. Also, it does not restrict on space between a teacher(s) and a student(s) into cyberspace which made by network. This system has an interaction, late comer, a question and an answer, multi-session, application sharing and whiteboard which resembles chalkboard. Also, various supplementary functions such as video conference and voice conference for this system are what makes face-to-face education effective. Also it supports real or non-real type. The operation system developed on windows 95.
