        This research aims to grasp the use status and satisfaction level based on citizen consciousness in night time to improve future design. This study employs a combination literature review and field survey. In the literature review, the related materials were collected to obtain the most useful information for references, and the POE study of the Bomunsan Park was conducted. The survey instrument is a questionnaire that includes questions regarding Bomunsan Park. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS17.0 for Windows). Through the POE analysis of the usage status and variables which significantly affect the users’ degree of satisfaction with the spaces and facilities were investigated and the following problems have been found. Bomunsan Park requires extensive modification to meet the demand of citizens. Several shortcomings are hampering the development of the Park. The rest space and the nightscape seem to be the two most problematic aspects in the Park. The nightscape design should be particularly emphasized in the overall park design in the future. Usage night and space and facilities for user satisfaction analysis, the increase of bus routes and the lighting was the biggest problem. Therefore, future access to transportation means and at night design considerations will be based on the need to plan.

        The purpose of this fesearch is to examine the important factors of scores in Squash Game as a double match. To achieve this purpose, we can come to the following conclusion from the result of the championship contest. of Squash Game for University students in 1999. 1. The score rate of each factors are found out the following result: Drive 41.9%, Drop 16.6%, Volley drop 9.7%, Serve 8.6%, Boast 6.4%, Volley smashing 3.3%, Kill shot 2.8%, Volley 2.6%, Lop 1.4%, Boast trickle 1.3%, Boast click 1.0%, Reverse angle 0.9%, Volley boast 0.2%, Etc. (stroke)3.4% 2. Among general factors of the double match, the rate of basic shot is the highest as 81.2%, that of application shot is 15.5% and that of stroke is 3.4% 3.The skills of Basic shot encluding Drive, Drop, Serve, Boast and the skill of Application shot encluding Vol-ley drop are the most important factors for score of a double match and ten kill shot, Volley lop of Basic shot and Volley smashing of Application shot are also important. Through the above result, the skills of Drive, Drop, Serve, Boast, Volley drop etc. are main factors of score. All players have to act to the best of their ability as basic skills. Im addition, lots of studies about players are to be requested in the future.

        도덕 교육에서 통합적 접근을 이용한 프로그램 개발 : 책임 있는 행동을 중심으로

        본 연구는 초등 도덕과에서 지·정·의를 통합한 책임있는 행동 향상 프로그램을 개발하여 학교 현장에서 적용할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 책임있는 행동 향상 프로그램의 내용 요소로는 ‘약속과 규칙 지키기, 교통 규칙 지키기, 환경 보호하기’를 선정하고, 각 내용 요소마다 지·정·의 목표 통합을 이루기 위해 다양한 전략을 이용하였다. 교수 전략으로 모범 보이기, 협동학습, 도덕적 사고 계발, 도덕적 정서 계발, 실천 기회 제공, 교실을 도덕적공동체로 만들기가 선정되었고, 학습 시간을 40~70분으로 융통성있게 운영하였다 책임있는 행동 향상 프로그램의 실시 결과, 교사의 관점에서 책임있는 행동의 인지적·정의적·행동적 측면이 향상되었다고 보았고, 아동의 관점에서도 책임있는 행동에 있어서 자신의 정의적·행동적 측면과 친구들의 행동적 측면이 향상되었다고 보았다. 이는 본 통합적 접근 프로그램이 초등학교 3학년 아동의 책임있는 행동향상에 효과적임을 보여주는 것이다. The Purpose of this study is to develop a program to enhance responsible behavior in the moral education of elementary school and implement the program into an elementary school classroom. For this purpose, the 7th elementary moral curriculum, and related research were reviewed and the need of 3th grader student and teachers for responsibility education was assessed. On basis of such investigations, the integrated approach and 6 instructional strategies are applied to the program, and the program was implemented in a 3th grade classroom. It resulted that the program featuring integrated approach was effective to improve the 3th grade children's responsible behaviors.

      • 열형광 CaSO₄:Dy 소자의 최적 제조조건에 관한 연구

        An experimental investigation has been performed to determine optimal conditions for preparing the thermoluminescent CaSO4:Dy pellets which have been widely used as personal radiation dosimeter material. Our investigation has shown that an optimal weight concentration of the dopant Dy in the bulk CaSO4:Dy is 0.1 mol%, and an optimal temperature of adding Dy in the preparing process is 320 ℃. An optimal time and temperature for sintering the CaSO4:Dy crystal produced from the chemical process are found to be 2 hours and 800 ℃, respectively. The maximum thermoluminescent sensitivity was observed when the CaSO4:Dy crystal was pulverized to grain sizes of 63 - 200 ㎛ in diameter before being fabricated into pellets. The commercial Teflon was selected as an adhesive for the fabrication of the CaSO4:Dy pellets with an optimal mixing ratio of the Teflon and CaSO4:Dy being 70 to 30 in weight.

      • 완전 방실차단을 동반한 급성 심근염

        급성 심근염환자에서 발행한 완전 방실차단을 영구 심장박동 조율기로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Myocarditis, an inflammatory process involving the myocardal wall, may be caused by most infectious agents. Irrespective of its etiology, it presents commonly with evidence of heart failure, hypotension, and various electrocardiographic abnormalities. Patient with myocarditis may be asymptomatic or may have a rapidly progressive fatal disease. Medical management of patients with myocarditis includes specific therapy for underlying infection and control of the complication of myocarditis such as congestive heart failure and arrhythmia. Recently we had experienced myocarditis with complete atrioventricular block in 37-year-old man. Although he had shown complete recovery of heart failure, he had shown complete atrioventricular block, so we inserted permanent pacemaker. We report it with review of the literature.

        GIS를 이용한 산림녹지역의 경관변화분석 : 식생지수(NDVI)중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to find out Landscape Change Analysis of Forestland Using NDVI of Landsat TM on Suwon, Anyang, Sungnam, Ansan City as the subject of investigation. The characteristics of landscape change of them are as follows : 1. As a result of landcover classification in each area, the forestland decressed by 22.8% in Ansan, 21.2% in Suwon, 3.7% in Anyang and 3.1% in Sungnam. 2. By the change of landscape in NDVI indicated by band4 and band3 of Landsat TM, total incresmemt is Suwon(0.0155), Anyang(0.0239), Sungnam(0.0371), Ansan(0.0049) in 1993. therefore the quality of vegetation seems to be analysized as Sungnam > Anyang > Suwon > Ansan city. 3. In the 6, 7 level of NDVI which is very importance in enviromental impact asscesment, it is indicated that the place of some problem about landscape management in ecological health is Ansan city a mong of them because the area of that decreased in NDVI.

        Formation and Dispersion of Nitric Acid Vapor from Stack Flue Gas

        Extreme recovery of the thermal energy from the combustion of flue gas may bring about early gas condensation resulting in the increased formation of nitric acid vapor. The behavior of the nitric acid formed inside the stack and in the atmosphere was investigated through a computer-aided simulation in this study. Low temperatures led to high conversion rates of the nitrogen oxide to nitric acid, according to the Arrhenius relationship. Larger acid plumes could be formed with the cooled flue gas at $40^{\circ}C$ than the present exiting gas at $115^{\circ}C$. The acid vapor plume of 0.1 ppm extended to 25 m wide and 200 m high. The wind, which had a seasonal local average of 3 m/s, expanded the influencing area to 170 m along the ground level. Its tail stretched 50 m longer at $40^{\circ}C$ than at $115^{\circ}C$. The emission concentration of the acid vapor in the summer season was a little lower than in the winter. However, a warm atmosphere facilitated the Brownian motion of the discharged flue gas, finally leading to more vigorous dispersion.

      • Formation of conformal NiO underlayer on carbon for strong metal-support interactions effects on electrocatalytic performance of supported Pd nanoparticles

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Enhancing the performance of noble metal electrocatalysts is regarded as an urgent issue for the commercialization of fuel cells in the near future. In this study, we demonstrate that the electrocatalytic performance of Pd nanoparticles (NPs) supported on carbon can be enhanced by introducing NiO coating on carbon. We further demonstrate that a uniform thin layer of NiO coating on carbon support can be readily achieved by using a sonochemical reaction (ultrasound-assisted polyol synthesis, UPS) method. NiO-modified carbon (NiO/C) supports were synthesized by two different methods, atomic layer deposition (ALD) and UPS methods, and Pd NPs were formed on them. Compared with Pd NPs on carbon support, Pd NPs on NiO/C supports showed 3–5 fold enhanced electrocatalytic performance for formic acid oxidation and oxygen reduction reactions. Between the two NiO/C supports, the one synthesized by UPS method outperforms the one by ALD by up to 2 times. Detailed structural analysis data show that the NiO/C synthesized by UPS is composed of uniform and continuous thin (0.42 nm) NiO coating on the external surface of carbon while the NiO/C by ALD has thicker (1.13 nm) NiO islands to form patch-like coating on the carbon surface. The enhanced electrocatalytic performance of Pd NPs on NiO/C supports can be explained by the change of the electronic structure of strong metal-support interaction between Pd and NiO and the bifunctional mechanism enabled by the NiO surface around Pd NPs.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The effects of NiO underlayer on carbon support to the electrocatalysis by Pd nanoparticles are explored. </LI> <LI> The sonochemical method could produce conformal NiO thin coating on the entire surface of carbon. </LI> <LI> Pd/NiO/C outperforms Pd/C by 3–5 times for formic acid oxidation and oxygen reduction. </LI> <LI> NiO enhances Pd's performance by electronic interaction and bifunctional mechanism. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
