        朱熹书院祭祀制度的建构、完善与传承

        주희의 서원 의례제도는 상례(常禮)와 제례(祭禮)의 두 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 특히 제례는 강학, 장서 및 刻書와 함께 서원 교육의 “三大기능”으로 주희가 서원을 설립하는 데 중점을 두는 서원 의례제도의 주체이다. 그 내용은 제향 인물의 선정, 제향 취지의 확립, 제향 의례의 실행, 주문 후학들이 "창주제도(滄州之制)“에 의한 정체성의 확립, 강화, 완성 및 전승 등이 포함된다. 주자학이 흥기(興起)되기 전 복건(福建)지역 서원은 보편적으로 규모가 작고 서원 제도화 정도가 낮았으며, 전문적인 교수 및 관리자가 부족했고, 장서 및 서원 의례제도가 확립되지 않았다. 따라서 주희의 시대에는 서원 제도(制度) 강화, 특히 서원 의례제도의 구축은 주희가 서원을 건립하고 서원을 부흥(復興)시킬 때 직면한 중요 과제가 되었다. 상례는 즉 서원의 일상 의례이며, <백록동서원게시>, <훈학재규>등 서원 학규에 반영되어 있고, 일상의 강학활동과 사제(師弟)간의 예의와 규칙으로 적용된다. 본 논문은 주희 서원 제향제도의 구축, 개선(改善), 전승(傳承)에 대해 살펴보았다. Zhu Xi’s Neo-Confucian academies’ ritual system consists of two parts, daily services and Confucian sacrifice service. In particular, the ritual of Confucian sacrifice service is one of three functions of Neo-Confucian Academy’s education with lectures, libraries and publishing, and the main element of the ritual system of Neo-Confucian academies emphasized by Zhu Xi for establishing them. The contents include selecting person for the sacrifice service, the establishment of the its purpose, and execution of the ritual of the sacrifice service, and establishing, enforcing, and inheriting of Zhu Xi’s followers through “cāng zhōu zhī zhì(滄州之制)“ Before the establishment of Neo-Confucianism, the academies in Fújiàn Shěng had been small with low level of their systemization and lack of academic experts and managers without establishment of libraries and academy’s ritual systems. Therefore, in the era of Zhu Xi, enforcing Neo-Confucian academies, especially, the establishment of academy’s ritual service systems had been main task of Zhu Xi, when he built and recovered the academies. The daily services, the common rituals in academies were reflected in the rules for academiessuch as bái lù dòng shū yuàn jiē shì (白鹿洞書 院揭示) and xùn xué zhāi guī (訓學齋規) and applied as the etiquettes and regulations for daily studies and teachers and students. This article reviews the establishment, improvement and tradition of Neo-Confucian sacrifice system in Zhu Xi’s Neo-Confucian Academies.

        Parabolitobius antiquus sp. nov., the first Mesozoic amber inclusion of mycetoporine rove beetles (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Mycetoporinae)

        The rove beetle subfamily Tachyporinae was recently divided into the Tachyporinae and Mycetoporinae sub familities. Fossil records of mycetoporines are relatively rare, and no Mesozoic amber fossils belonging to this subfamily have been reported. In this study, a new species of the extant Palearctic genus Parabolitobius Li, Zhao & Sakai, 2000, Parabolitobius antiquus sp. nov., is described and illustrated based on a remarkably well-preserved single male adult specimen found in mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber from northern Myanmar. This discovery represents the first Mesozoic amber inclusion of mycetoporine rove beetles and raises the possibility that the genus was widely distributed across Pangea with later global extinction. www.zoobank.org:pub:8FD4ED8A-B65E-4A3F-90FB-F5B5D230D731.

        A new species of Prosolierius rove beetle with highly modified antennae from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber of northern Myanmar (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Solieriinae)

        Solieriinae is a small subfamily of rove beetles, with only a monospecific extant genus, Solierius Bernhauer, 1921, from South America restricted to the temperate forests of southern Chile and Argentina, and four additional species in the extinct genus Prosolierius Thayer, Newton & Chatzimanolis, 2012. All fossil records reported to date are limited to Prosolierius, and are known from the Cretaceous of Barremian–Cenomanian amber deposits from Lebanon, Spain, and northern Myanmar (Kachin). Here, a remarkable new species of Solieriinae, Prosolierius thayerae sp. nov., from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber is described. The new species is externally similar to Prosolierius tenuicornis Thayer, Newton & Chatzimanolis, 2012, from the same amber deposit in having elongate antennomere 10, but it has shorter antennae, and more importantly has highly modified antennomeres 3 and 4 in both antennae. Notably, these modifications are exceptional in typical staphylinids.         IPA and its precursors differently modulate the proliferation, differentiation, and integrity of intestinal epithelial cells

        BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Indole-3-propionic acid (IPA) is a tr yptophan-derived microbial metabolite that has been associated with protective effects against inflammator y and metabolic diseases. However, there is a lack of knowledge regarding the effects of IPA under physiological conditions and at the intestinal level. MATERIALS/METHODS: Human intestinal epithelial Caco-2 cells were treated for 2, 24, and/ or 72 h with IPA or its precursors – indole, tr yptophan, and propionate – at 1, 10, 100, 250, or 500 μM to assess cell viability, integrity, differentiation, and proliferation. RESULTS: IPA induced cell proliferation and this effect was associated with a higher expression of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 2 (ERK2) and a lower expression of c-Jun. Although indole and propionate also induced cell proliferation, this involved ERK2 and c-Jun independent mechanisms. On the other hand, both tr yptophan and propionate increased cell integrity and reduced the expression of claudin-1, whereas propionate decreased cell differentiation. CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, these findings suggested that IPA and its precursors distinctly contribute to the proliferation, differentiation, and barrier function properties of human intestinal epithelial cells. Moreover, the pro-proliferative effect of IPA in intestinal epithelial cells was not explained by its precursors and is rather related to its whole chemical structure. Maintaining IPA at physiological levels, e.g., through IPA-producing commensal bacteria, may be important to preser ve the integrity of the intestinal barrier and play an integral role in maintaining metabolic homeostasis.

        The earliest fossil record of the extant rove beetle genus Phloeocharis from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber of northern Myanmar and its biogeographic implications (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Phloeocharinae)

        Phloeocharis Mannerheim is the largest genus within the problematic rove beetle subfamily Phloeocharinae, with a single extinct and 44 recent species recorded from the Holarctic Region. Until now, the oldest fossil record of Phloeocharis was known from Late Cretaceous (Turonian) amber from New Jersey, USA. Here we describe †Phloeocharis burmana n. sp. from mid-Cretaceous (Albian–Cenomanian) Kachin amber from northern Myanmar, as the earliest extinct species of this genus. Our finding also sheds light on the biogeography of Phloeocharis, since no recent or extinct species have so far been recorded from the Oriental Region. Furthermore, the discovery of †P. burmana n. sp. extends the Mesozoic diversity of the phloeocharine rove beetles both taxonomically and morphologically, particularly from Kachin amber.

        ΘДГΘΘ ХYРТЭЛ МЭДЭГДСЭН "ХУРААГУЙ АЛТАН ТОВЧ"-ИЙН ЭХ БИЧГYYД, ТЭДГЭЭРИЙН ОНЦЛОГ

        From several historical sources named generally "Altan tov i" most ancient and important one is ""qad-un u¨ndusu¨nu¨ quriyangyui altan tob i neretu¨ suder (1-83a) or "khuraangui Altan tovch"(The Abbreviated Golden History), which is the second oldest after "Mongolyn Nuuts Tovchoo"(Mongolian Secret History) and it combines traditional style of historical writing with Indian and Tibetian ones. One more feature that should be mentioned is the interrelation of ancient tales about historic people and finely presented and almost unchanged oral literature. Up to now, researchers have been using only khorgoljin, iron tiger script version of "Khuraangui Altan Tovch", published by G.Gomboev in 1858 and Kh. Temget in 1925 and 1927. Fortunately, I have found a new version of "Khuraangui Altan Tovch" from Gobi-Altai aimag in 1997. I have been studying this manuscript to introduce to other researchers. Versions of "Altan Tovch" by G. Gomboev and Temget were edited and interpreted several times by different researchers before publication. Therefore it contains many mistakes and misinterpretations. There are 3 manuscripts kept in Petersburg Institute of Eastern studies. One of them encoded "F12", and written at the end of 19th century contains too many mistakes and therefore can not be used as a research material. I studied remaining two manuscripts encoded "F25" and "G26" in comparison with other versions of "Khuraangui Altan Tovch". I found out that G. Gomboev was familiar with "G26" manuscript only and he had never seen the "F25" version.
