In this study,Li? ions are implanted into PET, using small low energy C-W type accelerator in order to investigate trap level, activation energy, escape frequency, and kinetic order for ionic trap in polymers. The TSC curve showed two peaks at about 345K and 375K. An ionic TSC peak occurs at about 375K, and the activation energy, escape frequency for this trap are 2.06 eV and 4.5×?? ??, respectively. Shallow surface traps are found to be created due to ionization during Li? implantation. And the value ΔT?/ΔT is 0.54, which means that the mechanism of ionic trap is 2 nd kinetic order process.
갈륨액체금속 이온원과 인듐액체금속 이온원의 빔 특성에 대한 연구

본 연구에서는 인듐 액체금속이온원을 제작하여 빔 특성에 대해 연구를 하였으며, 기존에 연구를 하였던 갈륨 액체금속이온원의 빔특성과 비교 분석 하였다. 빔특성 분석을 위해 빔 안정도, 전류-전압특성곡선, 에너지 퍼짐을 측정하였다. 액체금속이온원에 사용되는 액체금속 저장소 및 바늘전극(tip)은 500μm의 직경을 갖는 텅스텐을 사용하였으며, 국내에서 제작된 제품을 사용하였다. 액체금속 저장소의 구조는 이전에 구상하여 연구가 이루어진 6개의 pre-etching된 텅스텐와이어(wire)가 묶여진 형태를 사용하였다.
Application and Development of Focused Ion Beams

집속 이온빔 기술은 고해상도의 이온빔 리토그라피, 마스크가 필요없는 이온주입, 그리고 Ion beam induced deposition 등 반도체 소자의 미세가공에 널리 이용되어 왔다. 좋은 안정도와 높은 전류밀도, 적은 에너지 퍼점 그리고 낮은 에미턴스와 높은 선명도를 갖는 집속 이온빔 장비를 위한 액체 갈륨 이온원이 한국에서 개발 시험되었다. 이온빔의 전압이 15㎸, 렌즈전압이 7㎸ 그리고 렌즈상단에 위치한 aperture의 직경이 0.2㎜일 때, 0.1㎛의 빔 직경으로 접속되는 정전 einzel 렌즈가 설계 조립되었고, FIB 진공 chamber는 렌즈부와의 차 등 진공시스템으로 구성되어 설계 제작되었다. FIB 장비가 조만간 한국에서 이온빔 밀링, ion beam induced deposition 그리고 잘못된 부분의 수정 등 반도체 제작공정에서의 응용에 큰 기여를 할 것이라 기대된다. Focused ion beam (FIB) technologies have been widely used in microfabrication of semiconductor devices: high resolution ion beam lithography, maskless ion implantation, micro-machining, and ion beam induced deposition. A liquid gallium ion source for the use of in FIB has been developed and tested in Korea, showing good stability, high current density, small energy spread, and low emittance or high brightness. A electrostatic einzel lens is designed and constructed to have a beam diameter of 0.1 ㎛ after passing through the lens column under a beam voltage of 15 ㎸, lens voltage of 7 ㎸ and 0.2㎜ diameter of beam defining aperture placed in front of the lens. The FIB chamber has been also designed and constructed with a differential vacuum system from the lens column. It is expected that the FIB machine will have great contribution to the applications of ion beam milling, ion beam induced deposition, and failure analysis in semiconductor industry in Korea in the near future.
한우 지방산결합단백질 4(FABP4) 유전자 조절영역내 단일염기변이(SNP)와 도체형질간 연관성 분석

The aim of this study was to identify the polymorphism on fatty acid binding protein (FABP4) gene promoter region and its association with carcass traits in Hanwoo. We performed PCR-direct sequencing of FABP4 promoter region to identify single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) using unrelated 24 Hanwoo bulls. Four SNPs (-298A>G, -472A>G, -887A>G, -862A>G) were detected in the promoter region and genotyped on 583 Hanwoo steers. A linear mixed model revealed an association of three SNPs (-298A>G, -472A>G and ?862A>G) with carcass weight and marbling score in dominance model (P<0.05). The animals with AA genotypes for the three SNPs were heavier carcass weight (5 kg) than animals with GG genotypes in the statistical analysis. For the marbling score, the AA genotype was lower effect of marbling score (0.21) than GG genotypes. In conclusion, this study indicates an important role for three SNPs detected in promoter region of FABP4 in determining carcass weight and marbling score in Hanwoo.

Adalimumab, a recombinant human IgG monoclonal antibody, selectively blocks tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF- α) and has been successfully used in the treatment of immune-mediated diseases. In particular, its efficacy has been proven in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, spondylarthritis, lymphoproliferative diseases and inflammatory bowel disease. Its use has also been studied for the treatment of psoriasis and yet, paradoxically, cases of new onset or exacerbation of psoriasis continue to increase in patients undergoing treatment with anti TNF-α agents. A 51-year-old woman had arthritis for a year and was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. After she had received adalimumab for psoriatic arthritis five times during one year, erythematous eruptions were found on her entire body. She then stopped adalimumab therapy for two months, although her skin lesions did not resolve. The patient was diagnosed with psoriasis through biopsy and began using cyclosporine, a topical steroid used for treatment of psoriasis. (Korean J Dermatol 2010;48(6):513∼516)
Isolated PFC Converter Based on an ADAB Structure with Harmonic Modulation for EV Chargers

This paper presents an isolated power factor correction converter for general-purpose electric vehicle chargers with a wide output voltage range. The converter is based on an asymmetrical dual active bridge structure so that the voltage stress of switching devices can be eliminated by transferring the transformer leakage inductance to the circuit parameters. Harmonic and output controls are performed by secondary switches, and primary switches are only operated at a fixed frequency with a 50% duty ratio. A harmonic modulation technique is also adopted to obtain a near-unity power factor without input current monitoring. The feasibility of the proposed charger is verified with a 3.3 kW prototype.
