        한번의 간질발작 후 혈청 Neuron-Specific Enolase 농도 변화

        An increase in neuron-specific enolase (NSE) levels in serum and CSF has been shown to be an useful marker of brain damage after stroke, global ischemia, and coma. We report the changes of serum NSE levels after seizure attacks in epileptic patients compared with the levels in normal controls and epileptic patients without seizure attack at least 7 days (epileptic controls). Twenty-four seizures were included in this study. Blood was drawn within 1 hour, at 12 hour, 24 hour, and 48 hour after seizure attack. Serum NSE levels were measured with radioimmunoassay. The mean NSE levels for normal controls and epileptic controls were 6.94 ng/ml and 7.46 ng/ml, respectively. There were significant increase in level of serum NSE measured within 1 hour after seizure attack in epileptics compared with the level in normal controls (15.10ng/ml versus 6.94ng/ml, p<0.05) and epileptic controls (15.10ng/ml versus 7.46ng/ml, p<0.05). Serum NSE measured at 12 hours after seizure also increased compared with normal controls (12.32ng/ml versus 6.94ng/ml, p<0.05) and epileptic controls (12.43ng/ml versus 7.46ng/ml, p<0.05). Between normal controls and epileptic controls, there were no significant difference in serum NSE levels. We conclude that serum NSE level was elevated in epileptic patients who had seizure attack within 12 hours. Serum NSE levels can be useful marker for seizure within 12 hours after onser. The elevated serum NSE level after single seizure attack may suggest that the brain was injured in single seizure.

        대구지역 중소기업의 국제경쟁력 결정요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 대구지역 중소기업의 국제경쟁력의 수준과 결정요인을 탐색하고 있다. 대구지역에 소재한 408개 중소기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집 분석한 결과 대구지역 중소기업의 국제경쟁력 수준은 그리 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 나아가 중소기업의 국제경쟁력 결정요인에 환한 연구모형의 타당성을 검증한 결과 모형은 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 경영전략 특성 및 조직구조 특성이 지역 중소기업의 국제경쟁력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 발견한 특징적인 현상은 지역 중소기업이 국제경쟁력을 달성하기 위해서는 경쟁전략에 있어서는 비용절감추구전략과 제품차별화추구전략을 동시에 높일 때, 그리고 조직구조에 있어서는 분권화와 공식화를 동시에 높일 때 국제경쟁력이 높아진다는 사실이다. 이는 소위 모순경영에 관한 이론적 함의를 제공하는 것으로 본 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과에 대한 해석과 토론, 이론적 및 실무적인 시사점과 한계점, 그리고 향후의 연구를 위한 연구명제가 제시되고 있다. This study investigated the level and determinants of international competitiveness of small and medium sized firms located in Daegu. The research model consisted of characteristics of management process including management strategy, organizational structure, management system, and top management. And international competitiveness was used as a performance variable. The data were collected from 408 small and medium sired firms located in Daegu. Empirical results indicated that the level of international competitiveness was not high, and management strategy and organizational structure influenced on international competitiveness significantly. Specifically, this study shown that to improve international competitiveness, small and medium sized firms have to persue both cost reduction and product differentiation, and also enhance decentralization and formalization simultaneously. In doing so, they appear to be faced with a paradox management. The implications of these findings, limitations, and future research directions were discussed.

      • 원격 퍼스컴회의 시스템의 다자간 접속을 위한 SAS 구현

        In this paper, we suggest new MCU to implement multipoint connection in the SAS of remote PC conference systems. The MCU should observe recommendations of H.231 and H.234 of ITU-T. While mixing video data, the number of attendants in limiteded because it decodes bit stream and then encodes again, therefore, multicasting in the application layer should be implemented to solve the limited element. This program implemented the module that enables group manager of SAS and group server to procede and transmit multimedia data. The validity of paper was proved by implementing the function of image rotation that can display all of attentant in SAS of romote PC conference. The main service system is implemented based on Windows NT and Visual C^(++) 2.0.

      • 교통정보시스템을 위한 멀티모달 감성입력 모듈의 구현

        In this paper, we implement and design a PC-based multimodal emotional input module combining speech and lip information to get effectively traffic information in a car. Speech recognizer is combined with lip recognizer in the module, and the module controls Comdio(Computer Radio) which is designed for receiving DARC(Data Radio Channel) data and traffic information to the radio. We used the TCP/IP socket between recognizers, and then improved 2% the rate of recognition in case of speech recognizer and 37.5% in case of lip recognizer when we compared the module with independent recognizer. Therefore, the results show that this module combining speech and lip recognizer is can be possible by being applied to Traffic Information System.

      • 소형환편기 자동화기술개발에 관한 연구

        소형환편기의 자동화기술을 위해 편환을 이동시킬 수 있는 편침과 cam을 편환이송용 장치를 고안하였다. 위편기의 편환이송 mechanism을 해석하고 소형환편기의 물리적 모사를 통해 편침과 cam의 형상을 최적화하였다. 편환이송장치를 사용하여 편물에 다양한 조직을 편성할 수 있는 편기의 개발이 가능하도록 하였다. The latch needle and cam are newly designed and manufactured to transfer the loop for automation of small circular knitting machine. The loop transfer mechanism is analized by the simulation of needle motion on the V-bed flat knitting machine to which optimum designed cam is attached. This loop transfer mechanism can be applied to small circular knitting machine for automation and variable knitted structure.

      • 신경회로망을 이용한 한글모음인식에 관한 연구

        In this paper, Recognition of HANGUL Vowel using a neural network is studied. In general, Back-propagation is applied for the speech recognition, but has too much computational time for learning. The method using peak information of speech signal is used for the purpose of reduction of computational time. The speech spectrum of a vowel consists of the sixteen frame and a frame is divided by the sixteen hand and binary code 1,0 is used as input data corresponding to whether peaks exist or not, respectively, on each band in frequency spectrum. The experimental result show that the learning number is reduced remarkably and the recognition rate is improved according to increasing ratio of learning and unlearning data.

        This paper investigated the variation of the spectrum slope between each areas that is divided by six areas in Kwang-Ju and Jun-Nam, to analyze the collected telephone speech data under the actual condition. The discrete distribution HMM recognition method has been applied to the speech data for a single vowel uttered by six men between twenties and thirties in the first area. This result shows that the collected telephone speech data will be useful for the recognition data.

        출혈성 쇼크모델에서의 골수강내 주사에 의한 수액소생술의 효과

        We studied the clinical applicability of intraosseous route as a rapidly, easily obtainable venous access route in shock resuscitation using rabbit hemorrhagic shock model. The experiment was conducted after induction of shock by withdrawing one-third of blood volume. In the 1st experiment. three times of shed blood was replaced with saline solution in intraosseous and intravenous group but no fluid was given to control group. The mean arterial pressure and hematocrit were observed throughout the experiment. In the 2nd experiment, the flow rate between gravity and 150 mmHg-pressurized intraosseous infusion was compared. The results were as follows: In the 1st experiment, all three groups showed a drop in MAP to at least 40% of the baseline value after induction of hemorrhage. At 5min after beginning of fluid administration, the MAP was elevated to 105% and 100% of baseline in the intraosseous andintravenous group, respectively. After fluid infusion was finished, MAP declined in both groups but intravenous group showed marked drop and maintained lower value than control group until the end of experiment. In the 2nd experiment, the flow rate was 3.8ml/min by gravity and 4.8ml/min by 150mmHg pressure and showed no statistical difference. In conclusion, the intraosseous infusion showed superior effect in restoring and maintaining arterial pressure than conventional intraveous infusion in the initial fluid resuscitation of rabbit shock model.

      • 莊周內觀的 認識의 由來와 展開

        The purpose of this essay is to investigate the problem of perception with special emphasis on the relative relation ship of Chuang-tzuˇ inner perception which I think is the Crucial point in the history of Chinese Philosophy. To understand the Chuang-tzuˇ inner perception we should note the three proposition:firstly man's perception is limited, secondly knowledge and ignorance cannot be absolutely distinguished, and thirdly the insistence that ignorance is the true knowledge is similar to the fancy of Chao-San-Mu-Ssuˇ(朝三暮四), but is the same in fact. Chuang-tzuˇ position of denying the mans' perception originates from his objection to that of Ming pien (明辨)school. Since the Spring-Autumn Age the method of perceiving the objects and and jargons for those objects become numerous. Hui-Shinh (惠施) and Kungsun Luˇng(公孫龍) were the scholars who had contributed to search investigations. So 「Ming pien」 School is the products of rapid social change and they tried to analyse the objects. Of course, such attitude to the objects and the methods they used contributed to the development of philosophical investigations. But Chuang-tzuˇ thinks that analytical investigation in the perception of objects is not only absolutely unnecessary but artificial according to Chuang-tzuˇ man can attain the state of Tao-Shu(道樞) only by intuition. The inner percception or Intuition is the short cut to perceive the true knowledge. "Only the true man can perceive the true knowledge." is the motto of Chuang-tzuˇ philosophy.
