        The purpose of the study was to undertaken to analysis the Grab starting technique between national representive team(3) and Cheju's representive team(3) with 3D cinematography. The conclusions obtained were as follows: Cheju's showed more elapsed time than national representive team on starting block. and more vertical than horizontal direction of COG position, more concentrated vertical velocity & acceleration than forward direction. Therefore It is necessory for cheju's to train balanced trust force in horizontal and vertical direction in grab starting technique.

        자기장 저속 냉동보관법을 이용한 쥐 치아 치주인대세포의 활성도 검사

        본 연구의 목적은 흰쥐 상악 대구치를 발거하여 자기장 저속 냉동보관법을 이용하여 냉동 시 치주인대세포의 활성도 및 세포 사멸도를 MTT검색법과 TUNEL검사를 이용하여 측정하고자 하였다. 4주령의 암컷 Sprague-Dawley계 된 쥐의 상악 좌우 제1,2대 구치를 발거하여 각군 당 12개의 쥐 치아를MTT검색에 이용하였고 6개의 치아를 TUNEL 검사에 이용하였다. 실험군은 5개군으로 대조군은 즉시 발치군이며 4℃냉장고에서 1주일간 보관한 냉장군, 발치 후 동해방지제 처리과정을 거쳐 -196℃의 액화질소에 넣어 급속 냉동한 액화질소군, 21.7 ㎃, 60 ㎐, 1 G의 자기장을 이용하여 -0.3℃/min 의 속도로 -20℃까지 냉동 후 -196℃로 급속 냉동한 자기장군, -0.3℃/min의 속도로 -20℃까지 냉동 후 -196℃에 급속 냉동한 저속 냉동군으로 나누었다. 보존액은 F medium을 사용했으며 동해방지제로 10% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)를 사용하였다. 치근면을 단위면적으로 표준화하기 위해 MTT측정값을 Eosin 염색 후 530 ㎜에서 측정한 흡광도 값으로 나누었다. TUNEL 검사 시 각 조직슬라이드에서 400배 크기의 현미경 시야에서 임의로 세 부분을 지정하여 정상 세포수와 양성 세포수를 세어 그 비율을 계산하여 각 실험군 당 평균치를 구하였다. 통계 분석을 위해 one way ANOVA를 시행하였으며 사후검정으로 Scheffe와 Tukey HSD방법을 썼으며 결과는 다음과 같다. MTT검색에 의한 흡광도를 Eosin염색 후 측정한 흡광도로 나눈 값에서는 자기장군은 즉시 발치군보다 낮은 세포활성을 보였고 (p < 0.05) 액화질소군, 저속 냉동군과는 통계적으로 유의성 있는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 자기장군은 액화질소군, 저속 냉동군과 함께 냉장군보다는 높은 세포 활성도를 보였다 (p<0.05).TUNEL검사 결과도 자기장군은 즉시 발치군보다 치주인대의 세포사멸도가 높았으나 (p < 0.05) 저속 냉동군과 액화 질소군과는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 자기장군은 냉장군보다 세포사멸도가 낮았으며 냉장군은 모든 군 중에서 세포 사멸도가 가장 높았다 (p<0.05). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the viability of periodontal ligament cell in rat teeth using slow cryopreservation method with magnetic field through MTT assay and TUNEL test. For each group, 12 teeth of 4 weeks old white female Sprague-Dawley rat were used for MTT assay, and 6 teeth in TUNEL test. The Maxillary left and right, first and second molars were extracted as atraumatically as possible under tiletamine anesthesia. The experimental groups were groupl (immediately extraction), group 2 (cold preservation at 4℃ for 1 week), group 3 (rapid Cryopreservation in liquid nitrogen), group 4 (slow cryopreservation with magnetic field of 1 G), and group 5 (slow cryopreservation). F medium was used as preservation medium and 10% DMSO as cryoprotectant. After preservation and thawing, the MTT assay and TUNEL test were processed. One way ANOVA and Scheffe method were performed at the 95 % level of confidence. The value of optical density obtained after MTT analysis was divided by the value of eosin staining for tissue volume standardization. In both MTT assay and TUNEL test, it had showed no significant difference among group 3,4, and 5. And group 3 had showed higher viability of periodontal ligament cell than group 2. From this study, slow cryopreservation method with magnetic field can be used as one of cryopreservation methods.

      • 당뇨병환자의 운동참여와 합병증 유무가 혈당, 혈중지질 및 혈압에 미치는 영향

        This study aims at investigating the effects of diabetics' exercise or non-exercise and complication or non-complcation on blood glucose. blood lipid and blood pressure. I made this survey on 121 diabetics under medical treatment in D. a clinic in Cheju city. In order to get the homgeneity of survey value. I selected patients who had been from 200mg/dl to 250mg/dl in blood sugar value after a meal 3 months beford. and used structured interviews in collecting data for this study. The subjects of investigation were classified into four groups not only according to patients' participation or non-participation in physical exercise, but also according to patients with complications or without comlications. Independent difference came from partipation in exercise or non-exercise and from patients with complications or without complications, while dependent difference came from survey value of empty stomach or blood suger value after a meal. blood quality (TG, TC, HDL-C,LDL-C), and blood pressure (highest, lowest). The experimentation of this study is based on 2 (exercise presence)*2 (complication presence of diabetes). The data analysis was practsed by the index of duality dispersion, while thd mean and standard deviation of this study were gotten by means of' SPSS-PC+statistic package'. This study through investigating a tentative theory resulted in the followings: In the case of diabetics who took part in exercise, their blood sugar value before and after a meal was lower than that of patients who didn't take part in exercise. The patients with complications had higher blood sugar value in disregard of their participation in exercise. In the case of blood quality, the TG TC, AND LDL-C of patients with coplications were generally lower regardless of their complications, while the numberical values of HDL-C were higher. Lastly, the blood pressure of diabetics was lower, while that of diabetics with complications was generally higher regardless of patients' exercise.

        조형된 연골막판을 사용한 이개재건에 대한 실험적 연구

        Although carved cartilage grafts from rib are commonly used for ear reconstruction, it is difficult to mimic a normal pinna and these reconstructions are so firm and unnatural. Therefore, we had a basic experimental study for a new technique of ear reconstruction. We tried to creat a cartilage framework by moulding the perichondrial flap experimentally. The perichondrial flap with the vascular pedicle of the central vessels was elevated in rabbit ear and placed between the leaves of a silastic mould. This preparation was placed in a pocket under adjacent scalp and sic and eight weeks later the preparations was harvested and assessed gross and histological findings. The moulded perichondrial flap was well developed and a thin cartilage layer was recognized within the convolutions created by the mould. Grossly, it was not so firm but relatively soft and there was little difference between at six and eight weeks. Histologically, viable new chondrocytes and active cartilage formation were demonstrated in the perichondrium at both six and eight weeks. The moulded cartilage which was harvested after 6 weeks was irregular in thickness and it's chondrocytes were not completely developed. However, the cartilage which was harvested after eight weeks was relatively regular in thickness and it's cells, especially centrally located, were fully developed. Clinically, ear reconstructive may be completed by implantation of this moulded cartilage as traditional reconstructive method. Otherwise, this moulded cartilage can be harvested with its vascular pedicle and the pedicle can be anastomosed with superficial temporal artery. And then a split thickness skin graft on the perichondrium enveloping the moulded cartilage or covering with skin flap which was expanded with tissue expander may complete the ear reconstruction in single stage operation. If further investigations for materials of the mould, optimal period for maximum cartilage synthesis and durability of moulded cartilage are studied, this moulded perichondrial flap technique provides the potential advantage of ear reconstructions.

      • 성인 당뇨병 처치 프로그램 개발

        Noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus is the most common form of diabetes mellitus. It comprise approximately 90% of all diabetic individuals. A sendentary life-style has become more and more apparent and the incidence of diseases related to inactivity is increasing. Inactivity is assicociated with unfavorable serum lipprotein profiles and the development of peripheral insulin resistance. These alterations are known risk factors for obesity. noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. Thus in a global health perspective. it is desirable to encourage regular physical activity and proper diet in daily life to prevent increases in the incidence of risk factors for diabetes mellitus and to promot sense of well-being and quality of life. The purpose of this study was to develop the diabetes mellitus treatment program. The program divided into three major factors. the predispesing factor involved in knowledge. attitude,practice concerning diabetes mellitus enabling factor pertaining to mass sport leader's role for modifying diabetes mellitus patients, and reinforcing factor associated with the significant others(peers. spouse. family etc. .) for giving positive feedback on diabetes mellitus patient's behavior. By pilot survey and related literature , noninsulin-diabetic patients are overweight. have high blood lipids and demonstrate marked pheripheral insulin resistance. The goal of this program treatment was to nomalize these alterations by diet(low calolie intake) and exercise(increased calorie utilization). Exercise training treatment consisted of aerobic-type activities(jogging. running, swinmming. and cycling). Diet control used food exchange table recommended by The Association of Korean Diabetes. It was recommended that developted diabetes mellitus program can be used as a tool for preventing risk factors and improving diabetic state.
