Blind Channel Estimation and Equalization

This paper presents the problem of blind channel estimation of a non-minimum phase system using three algorithms. These algorithms play an important role for blindly estimate the parameters of radio mobile channel. Thus studying the problem of blind channel equalization based on, the proposed algorithm, CMA and SKMAA algorithms. The simulation results in noisy environment and for different SNR values demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is more performing than other algorithms. In addition the Sign Kurtosis Maximization Adaptive Algorithm (SKMAA) is more powerful in comparison to constant modulus algorithm (CMA) at the blind channel equalization, that is to say gives the right equalization.

The seeds of all species of plants require at least three external conditions before germination can occur; water, temperature, and oxygen. The fourth factor is light which has of importance in the germination of the seeds of some species. MIYAGI(1960) has shown the egg-plant seed germinates rapidly by free oxygen contained in H_2O_2. But during the early stages of germination of seeds of pea and some other species, respiration is largely or almost entirely of the anaerobic type. In a relatively short period, the influece of H_2O_2 and water on the germination of the green been seeds has been found as follows; 1. Germination of the green been seeds in H_2O_2 solution has been inhibited. 2. Germination of the green been seed in the water has occurred more rapidly in a closed district than in an open one. 3. Twenty seven hours after of the begining of this experiment the seed coat and the germination have not ruptured at all in H_2O_2 solution. 4. Growth of roots in the closed district has occurred more rapidly after the germination.

This studies describes how to develop and avail learning materials to approach for modern science education. The materials consist of three parts biology, chemistry, and earth-science, in primary school science. Part of biology has been covered in detail "Growth of Plants" (2-1), "Life cycle of Plants" (3-1), "Environments and Plants" (4-1). Earth-Science's part covered a "Circulation of Atmosphare and Water" (5-1), and chemistrie's part provide fat in nourishment and digestion in "Human Body" (6-2) unit. This developed materials are inexpensive to keep and are convenient subjects for children's learning. They may study products of science, fumdamental principle for science and scientific thought.
월성원자력발전소 주변 해역 동물플랑크톤상의 계절 변화 및 사망률

Zooplankton samples were collected for the investigation of zooplankton dynamics at ten selected stations in waters off Wolseong nuclear power plant, Korea in January, May, August and October, 2008. A total of 49taxa occurred. Copepods showed the prosperity in species number with 25species. Seasonally, 30taxa were observed in January and 34 in May, 32 in August and 30 in October, respectively. Miximum abundance of 3,385 indiv./m3 recorded and the minimum was 426 in August. Dominant taxa were copepodite, Noctiluca scintillans, Paracalanus sp. and Corycaeus affinis. Maximum mortality of 20.9% was recorded in October and the minimum was 12.8% in January. Little impact might exist on zooplankton fauna in waters off Wolseong nuclear power plant due to the maximum mortality being recorded less than 30% during the study.

Miyagi(1960) has reported the new egg-plant seed germinates rapidly and homogeneously by 0.5% hydrogen peroxide solution. Writer(Kim, 1968) has shown the germination of the green bean seeds in 3% hydrogen peroxide solution has been inhibited. Influence of new seeds('68) and old ones('64) on the germination of the green bean seeds in 3% hydrogen peroxide solution has been found as follows; 1. Germination of the green bean seeds in the districts of water has occured more rapidly in new seeds than old ones. 2. Germination of the green bean seeds in the districts of hydrogen peroxide has occured delay than in the districts of water. 3. In the districts of hydrogen peroxide, especially germination of green bean seeds has occured more rapidly in old seeds than new ones. 4. Growth of roots in the districts of new seeds has longer than old seeds in water.
