In the rats, we compared with the onset time and convulsed number on the generalized tonic convulsion between the control group that was administrated only lidocaine and the experimental group that was premedicated with baclofen, specific GABA_8 receptor agonist, prior to lidocaine injection. The results were as follows: 1. In the control groups, according to increasing lidocaine dose, it was shortened the onset time and increased the convulsed number on the generalized tonic clonic convulsion induced by intraperitoneal lidocaine. 2. In the experimental groups, according to increasing of baclofen dose, it was delayed the onset time and decreased the convulsed number on the generalized tonic clonic convulsion induced by intraperitoneal lidocaine. These results support the facts that baclofen, specific GABA_B receptor agonist, has an anticonvulsant effect on the generalized tonic clonic convulsion induced by local anesthetics.

The thermal decomposition process of Mo(CO)_6 on chemical vapor deposition was investigated by analyzing the effects of deposition temperature, pressure, and reaction gas on the phase change of deposited films. Mo_2C was deposited at or below 350℃ due to the incompleteness of thermal decomposition of Mo(CO)_6, but Mo films was successfully deposited at 400℃ or higher temperatures. The variation of deposition pressure did not change the dependence of decomposition process on deposition temperature. The activation energy of surface reaction was 5.8 ㎉/mole.

The elastic-plastic fracture toughness(Jic) and fracture resistance(J-R curve) of SA508-3 alloy steel, used for nuclear reactor pressure vessel was investigated by using CT-type specimens. Fracture toughness test are conducted by unloading compliance method and multiple specimen method at room temperature and -20℃, 200℃. The apparent negative crack growth phenomenon which usally arises in partial unloading compliance test was well known. The phenomenon as a possible source of error in detemining Jic or J-R curve from partial unloading compliance experiments may be eliminated by the offset technique. In this study, The evaluation Jic of the multiple specimen method recommended by the JSME gives the most reliable results by using CT-type specimens.

In SMA(Shape Memory Alloy), the degradation by fatigue is one of the most important problems to be overcome, when SMA is used for robot-actuator materials. The acuator is operated repetitively for long time and its repeating operation develops the fatigue degradation of SMA. The fatigue degradation changes the transformation temperature and deformation behavior and results in inaccurate operation control of robot. Accordingly, the changing behavior of transformation temperature and deformation which results from repeating operation is to be investigated in advance and the scheme to resolve those problems have to be made for the design of actuator. In this paper, for the improvement of the fatigue degradation by repetive movement and better control of the correct movement by the stability of martensite transformation in the developement of Robots actuator, Pre-strain(0, 1.5, 5, 8%)were loaded in the specimens and fatigue testing were carried out by the method of heating and cooling in direct condition. From the results of these experiments, the effects on pre-strain which affect the transformation characteristic and fatigue degradation phenomena were correctly investigated

The epoxy resin plate and acryl plate (Both thichness:3mm) overlapped are loaded by Pin-Joint. The stress distribution, stress intensity factors and correction factor at crack tip with various demension of the specimen are as follows; 1. When the pin is loaded, the K₁value is increased remarkable in case that length of the crack is above 6mm. 2. Correction factor(F₁) is greatly dependent on the value of a/d, but not on the value of a/w or a/r. 3. When the pin is loaded, K₁value is highly decreased with decrease in crack length because of the compression load developed between pin and specimen. 4. When the pin is loaded correction factor(F) is remakable incresed as the distance of two holes are decreased.

Purpose: Testosterone replacement therapy is an effective treatment for late-onset hypogonadism (LOH) despite a few con-traindications and side-effects. The aim of this study was to determine whether modified Ojayeonjonghwan (KH-204, Korean herbal formula) improved LOH. KH-204 is a strong antioxidant herbal formula. We evaluated the effect of Korean herbal pre-scription on androgen receptor (AR) expression in an aged rat model of LOH. Materials and Methods: Eighteen-month-old rats were used as aged LOH rat models. Eighteen Sprague-Dawley rats were ran-domly divided into three equal groups of six animals each and treated with one of the following: 1) normal control group (oral administration with distilled water, n=6), 2) KH-204 200 group (oral administration with 200 mg/kg of KH-204, n=6), and 3) KH-204 400 group (oral administration with 400 mg/kg of KH-204, n=6). After four weeks of treatment (once daily, distilled water or KH-204), serum testosterone levels, changes in testicular and epididymal weight, Western blotting analysis of AR ex-pression and measurement of oxidative stress were examined. Results: Treatment with the herbal formulation KH-204 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg (1) increased the weights of testis and epi-didymis; (2) increased the level of serum testosterone; (3) increased the level of superoxide dismutase and reduced the level of 8-hydroxy-20-deoxyguanosine; and (4) upregulated AR expression in testicular tissue. Conclusions: KH-204 might be an effective alternative for LOH. It improves antioxidant mechanisms and increases testicular AR expression without side-effects.
비디오 자기 모델링 중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애 중학생의 설거지 기술 수행에 미치는 영향

이 연구에서는 비디오 자기모델링 중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애 중학생의 설거지 기술 수행율 증가에 미치는 효과와 중재 종료 후에도 중재 효과가 유지되고 일반화 되는지를 알아보았다. 연구대상은 자폐스펙트럼장애 중학생 3명이며, 실험 설계로 대상자간 중다간헐기초선설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 교실에서의 비디오 자기모델링 자료 시청과 카페테리아 싱크대에서의 과제 수행 연습으로 구성되었다. 연구 결과, 비디오 자기모델링을 통해 3명의 연구대상 모두 설거지 기술 수행율의 증가를 보였다. 또한 비디오 자기모델링의 중재 효과는 중재가 종료된 후에도 유지되고, 가정에서 일반화 되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 비디오 자기모델링 중재가 시각적 학습 특성을 가진 자폐스펙트럼장애 학생들에게 설거지 기술을 독립적으로 수행할 수 있도록 촉진하는 데 효과적인 전략으로 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of video self-modeling on dishwashing skills of students with autism spectrum disorders. The subjects were three middle school student with autism spectrum disorders. Multiple probe design across participants was used. The video self-modeling intervention consisted of watching video self-modeling on the computer and practicing dishwashing skills in the sinks of cafeteria. The results of this study were as follows. First, the video self-modeling intervention was effective in increasing the performance percentage of dishwashing skills. Second, the effects of the video self-modeling intervention was maintained and generalized after withdrawal of the intervention. Implications for developing and implementing video self-modeling intervention were discussed.
