본 연구는 2개 이상의 입력과 출력으로 표현되는 다변수 시스템의 제어에 필요한 설계 요구 조건을 주파수 영역에서 분석하여 시스템에 적용하는 방법에 대하여 알아본다. 설계 요구 조건은 정상편차, 절점 주파수(cross-over frequency), 다변수에 의한 최대 및 최소 특이 값(singular value), 그리고 교란 및 잡음제거 등이며 목표 루프(target loop)는 Kalman 필터가 적용된다. 이러한 설계 요구 조건을 만족시키는 제어장치를 설계하는 주파수 영역에서의 분석은 LQG/LTR(Linear-Quadratic-Gaussian with Loop-Transfer-Recovery) 기술을 근거로 적용된다. 제어장치를 적용한 시스템의 폐루프 및 민감도 전달함수에 대한 특이 값을 주파수에 영역에서 분석하고 시간 영역에서 입력과 출력의 과도응답의 정확성과 반응속도에 대하여 알아본다. The main purpose of this study is an analysis of multi-variable control in frequency domain. This analysis is based on LQG(MBC)/LTR methodology. Target loop is designed by Kalman filter which includes the design specifications such as cross-over frequency, identification of maximum and minimum singular values, rejection of sensor noise in high frequency domain and disturbance in low frequency domain. Closed loop and sensitivity transfer function are analyzed by singular values in frequency domain and transient responses of input and output are also analyzed in time domain.
Less invasive transoral resection of esophageal fibrovascular polyps: case reports

We report five patients treated for esophageal fibrovascular polyps using a minimally invasive technique. Esophageal fibrovascular pol- yps are benign pedunculated submucosal tumors of considerable size. The treated polyps size ranged from 1.5 to 13 cm. The polyps were removed by relocation to the oral cavity under endoscopic control. No perioperative complications occurred after the treatment. The follow-up of patients after surgery was 9–89 months, with no evidence of polyp recurrence. Thus, the described treatment is safe but requires experience with endoscopy as well as esophageal surgery.

We investigated the properties of BELLE Time Of Flight(TOF) counter using the data taken in Jan 98 beam test at Pi2 beam line at KEK 12 GeV proton synchrotron. Charge distributions from readout PMT were analysed in comparison with dE/dx distributions predicted by GEANT full simulation. Experimental setup of the beam test is described, then procedures of data analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and analysis results are also described.

Population genetic studies were carried out on randomly selected and unrelated individuals from Korean(n= 379) using 9 short tandem repeat loci FGA, VWA, D3S1358, D18S51, D21S11, D8S1179, D7S820, D13S317, and D5S818, respectively. After electrophoresis, 18 alleles were identified for FGA, 7 alleles for VWA, 8 alleles for D3S1358, 16 alleles for D18S51, 15 alleles for D21S11, 10 alleles for D8S1179, 9 alleles for D7S820, and 9 alleles for D13S317. No deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium was found. Some statistical parameters of forensic interest, such as observed/expected heterozygosity, mean exclusion channce, power of discrimination and polymorphism information content were determined. The results for RGA, D21S11, and VWA showed no differences of allele frequency between the different Korean population groups.

The objectives of the study were to determine an effective culture dish, culture duration and protein supplementationin medium for in vitro maturation (IVM) of oocytes of native zebu cows in Bangladesh. The ovaries of cows werecollected from local slaughterhouse followed by aspiration of follicular fluid. The cumulus-oocyte-complexes (COCs)with more than 3 compact cumulus cell layers were cultured in tissue culture medium (TCM) 199 for maturation. The maturation of oocytes was determined by observing polar body under microscope. To determine an effectiveculture dish, 130 COCs derived from 48 ovaries in a well of 4-well dish and 102 COCs derived from 36 ovariesin drops covered with mineral oil within 35 mm petri dish were cultured for 24 hours. The rate of maturation ofoocytes did not vary between 4-well dish (51.3 ± 15.0 %) and drops in petri dish (52.4 ± 11.6 %). To determine theeffective culture duration, 185 COCs derived from 62 ovaries were cultured in drops for 18, 21, 24 and 27 hours. The rate of maturation of occytes ranged from 51.9 ± 9.4 % (18 hours) to 59.0 ± 17.1 % (27 hours) and the differencein maturation rate among different culture durations was not significant (P>0.05). To determine an effective proteinsupplementation, 63 oocytes from 19 ovaries were cultured separately in TCM 199 supplemented with either fetalbovine serum (FBS) or bovine serum albumin (BSA). The rate of maturation was significantly (P<0.01) higher inmedium supplemented with FBS (55.63 ± 16.19 %) than that of BSA (14.82 ± 9.36 %). In conclusion, COCs of nativezebu cows can be cultured for IVM either in 4-well culture dish or droplets in petri dish for 18 to 27 hours in mediumsupplemented with FBS.
