A Survey on Detection and Prevention of Cross-Site Scripting Attack
V. Nithya,S. Lakshmana Pandian,C. Malarvizhi 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.3
In present-day time, securing the web application against hacking is a big challenge. One of the common types of hacking technique to attack the web application is Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities are being exploited by the attackers to steal web browser’s resources such as cookies, credentials etc. by injecting the malicious JavaScript code on the victim’s web applications. Since Web browsers support the execution of commands embedded in Web pages to enable dynamic Web pages attackers can make use of this feature to enforce the execution of malicious code in a user’s Web browser. The analysis of detection and prevention of Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) help to avoid this type of attack. We describe a technique to detect and prevent this kind of manipulation and hence eliminate Cross-Site Scripting attack.
A New Selective Assembly Model for Achieving Specified Tolerance in High Precision Assemblies
S. M. Kannan,G. Raja Pandian 한국정밀공학회 2020 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.21 No.7
Manufacturing of high precision assemblies pose a great challenge to engineers. High precision assemblies are generally assembled using selective assembly when the assembly tolerance requirement is less than the sum of the part tolerances. Although extensive research has been done in selective assembly modelling for minimising surplus parts and tolerance variation, they do not suit given specifications. In this paper, a new selective assembly model using a genetic algorithm is proposed to provide a detailed method for assembling parts for achieving specified assembly tolerance with minimum surplus parts. This model provides the best combination of selective groups and the number of assemblies in each group and so the assembly process is simplified. Genetic Algorithm is used to find the best combinations and the number of assemblies in each combination to minimize surplus parts. This paper analyses the effectiveness of the model for given target assembly tolerance for a linear assembly and it can be extended to any type of product.
Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions of a Class of Second Order Quasilinear Difference Equations
E. Thandapani,S. Pandian,R. K. Balasubramanian 경북대학교 자연과학대학 수학과 2004 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.44 No.2
In this paper, we study asymptotic behavior of solutions of a class of second order quasilinear difference equations. All proper solutions are classfied into four types by means of their asymptotic behavior. Necessary and / or suffcient conditions are given for such equations to have solutions of each of the four types.

Eugenol, a member of the phenylpropanoidsclass of chemical compounds, is a clear to pale yellow oilyliquid extracted from certain essential oils especially fromclove oil, nutmeg, cinnamon, and bay leaf. The antibacterialactivity of eugenol and its mechanism of bactericidalaction against Proteus mirabilis were evaluated. Treatmentwith eugenol at their minimum inhibitory concentration[0.125 % (v/v)] and minimum bactericidal concentration[0.25 % (v/v)] reduced the viability and resulted in completeinhibition of P. mirabilis. A strong bactericidal effecton P. mirabilis was also evident, as eugenol inactivated thebacterial population within 30 min exposure. Chemoattractantproperty and the observance of highest antibacterialactivity at alkaline pH suggest that eugenol can workmore effectively when given in vivo. Eugenol inhibits thevirulence factors produced by P. mirabilis as observed byswimming motility, swarming behavior and urease activity. It interacts with cellular membrane of P. mirabilis andmakes it highly permeable, forming nonspecific pores onplasma membrane, which in turn directs the release of260 nm absorbing materials and uptake of more crystalviolet from the medium into the cells. SDS–polyacrylamidegel, scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transforminfrared analysis further proves the disruptive action ofeugenol on the plasma membrane of P. mirabilis. Thefindings reveal that eugenol shows an excellent bactericidalactivity against P. mirabilis by altering the integrity of cellmembrane.

In many microorganisms, carbohydrate acetylesterases remove the acetyl groups from various types of carbohydrates. Sm23 from Sinorhizobium meliloti is a putative member of carbohydrate esterase family 3 (CE3) in the CAZy classification system. Here, we determined the crystal structure of Sm23 at 1.75A resolution and investigated functional properties using biochemical methods. Furthermore, immobilized Sm23 exhibited improved stability compared with soluble Sm23, which can be used for the design of plant cell wall degrading-systems.
