        고등학교 야영활동 참여가 인성발달에 미치는 영향

        Camping activities were thought as one of educational methods. This study analyzed effects of participation in camping activities on high school students` humanity development variables, which affect humanity development were used for this study and data were collected at high schools in Kwang-ju city. At this site 600 surveys were distributed to a random sample of 300 participant and 30 non participant in camping activities. The results were as follows. 1. Participation in camping activities more positively affected humanity developments of male students` than that of female students`. 2. There was significant relationship between camping activities and sociality, leadership, activity and responsibility development. 3. There is no relationship between frequency of participation in camping activities and humanity development. Since the data were collected only at high schools in Kwang-ju city, further studies on high schools in countrysides would be required.

      • 가임 여성에서의 유방동통과 생리전 증후군에 대한 고찰

        Breast pain and tenderness occurs regularly in some women during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. But clinical and research literature focusing on cyclical mastalgia was rare. So descriptive study was conducted to examine the prevalence of breast pain, the impact of cyclic mastalgia on various activities. Young females at Kwandong University(n=114) completed a questionnaire. Sixty-three percent of women reported regular premenstrual discomfort. Current moderate-to-severe cyclic mastalgia was found in 14.9%. Mastalgia interferes with usual physical activity in 73% of women and with social (13%) and with sleep (26.7%). Cyclic mastalgia is common problem, sometimes severe enough to interfere with usual activities. Largely ignored both scientifically and clinically in the Korea, this disorder merit further biopsychosocial investigation.

        The arcades have been introduced for improving the environment of conventional markets, but thermal discomfort, poor IAQ and fire safety problems were occurred in same arcades because designers do not have proper design guideline for the arcades. The purpose of this study was to compare with two arcades on indoor environment and find design elements that cause for built environment problems. To find the design elements which influence on the environment of the arcade, the field measurements in the arcades were conducted, including temperature, humidity, air velocity, CO/CO2, etc. The indoor environment of the arcade was greatly influenced by the volume of arcade and the ventilation opening.

        겨우살이 Lectin의 항당뇨 효과

        국문초록 : 겨우살이 (Viscum album)는 민간요법에서 여러 질환에 치료제로 쓰이고 있다. 이는 겨우살이가 가지고 있는 lectin의 약리작용에 의한 것으로 그 가능성을 알아보고자 겨우살이 lectin의 항당뇨 효과를 연구하였다. 이를 위해 streptozotocin으로 당뇨를 유발시킨 흰쥐에 국내 참나무류에 기생하는 겨우살이의 추출물과 정제된 lectin을 경구와 복강내에 투여하여 조사하였다. 추출물을 29일 동안 경구 투여시 혈당치가 36%까지 현저히 감소하였으나, 정제된 lectin을 경구 투여시 항당뇨 효과가 현저히 나타나지 않았다. 또한 정제된 lectin 0.4 mg/kg을 복강내에 주사시 당뇨군에서 2시간과 4시간에서 saline에 비해 혈당치가 각각 32%와 28% 감소하였으므로 lectin의 항당뇨 효과는 뚜렸하였다. We investigated anti-diabetic effect of the crude extracts and the lectin purified from the leaves of Viscum album collected in Mt. Duk Yu. The induction of diabetes mellitus was confirmed by the presence of statistically significant greater serum glucose levels in streptozotocin-treated rats compared with the untreated non-diabetic group. There are no significant differences in the serum glucose levels compared extracts and purified lectin to tap water in the non-diabetic group after administration through the oral cavity in 29 day. But for streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats the serum glucose level in extracts after administration through the oral cavity was strikely decreased to 36% than tap water in 29 day. Significantly lower glucose level was obtained at 2 hr and 4 hr after administration of purified lectin (0.4mg/kg) through the peritoneal cavity. These results provide an evidence that Viscum album lectin has an anti-diabetic effect pharmacologically.

      • 고기능성 미립 실리카 제조

        본 연구에서는 attrition mill을 활용하여 분쇄시 발생하는 오염물질을 방지하고 고분자 유기물질의 첨가로 평균 입도 2-3㎛의 미립 실리카 분체에 가능성을 부여하여 규석 관련 첨단산업용 고부가가치 상품을 개발하고자 하였다. 실험결과 용기 내부의 코팅재에 따른 미립화 효율은 세라믹 > 텅스텐 카바이드 > 스테인레스 > 포리우레탄 > 테프론의 순이었으며 오염방지 효과는 세라믹 > 폴리우레탄 > 텅스텐 카바이드 > 테프론 > 스테인레스의 순이었다. 고분자 유기물질의 첨가에 의해 분쇄효율이 증가하였으며, 첨가제의 일부가 표면에 코팅되어 원관의 백색도 85에서 92까지 상승되었다. 형상 조절 실험 및 백색도 향상 실험결과 첨가에에 의한 분쇄 산물은 원광보다 구형에 가까운 것을 알 수가 있었다. This study focused on manufacture of the high value-added products for a high-technology industry related to silica. The silica fines less than 3㎛ was manufactured using laboratory attrition mills with various coated liner and analysed the pollutions added from the grinding test. Ground particle's shape was investigated by adding polymer. In the grinding test, coated material of cylinder affects size reduction rate by order of ceramic, tungsten carbide, stainless steel, polyurethane, teflon. In contamination tests the coated liner affects in order of stainless steel, teflon, tungsten carbide, polyurethane, ceramic. It was found also that the result of additive test showed an instant effects of grinding and whiteness.

        구기자 투여 간손상 흰쥐에서 GOT 및 GPT의 활성화 연구

        구기자의 한방 약리효과를 보기 위하여 구기자 혼합 생체시료와 세포배양한 캘러스로부터 추출한 열수 추출물을 사염화탄소로 유발된 간장해 흰쥐 (SD계)에 하루 0.5 g/kg을 경구 투여한 결과, 대조군 (GOT 949, GPT 640 karmen unit)에 비하여 혼합 생체시료 (GOT 760.4, GPT 540 karmen unit) 와 세포배양 캘러스 (GOT 772.1, GPT 556.4 karmen unit) 처리구에서 거의 비슷한 혈청 중 GOT, GPT 활성의 상승을 억제하는 효과를 보였으며, 또한 비교약물 sylimarin 0.1 g/kg 투여 군에서도 대조군에 비하여 혼합 생체시료 (GOT 492.6, GPT 320.4 karmen unit)와 세포배양 캘러스 (GOT 492.6, GPT 320.4 karmen unit) 처리구에서 거의 비슷한 혈청 중 GOT, GPT 활성의 상승을 억제하는 효과를 보였다. 이 상의 결과를 통하여 볼 때 구기자 생체시료와 세포배양 캘러스는 간손상 흰쥐에 대한 간보호 효과가 동일하게 있는 것으로 판단된다. The present study was undertaken in order to investigate betaine production by tissue culture and its medicinal effect in Lycium chinense Mill. In order to investigate the protective effect of L. chinense on the hepatoxicity induced by CCl4, 0.5 g/kg water extract of the compound mixture (leaves, roots and shoots) of L. chinense and its callus were fed to rat (SD line) once a day. As a result, the activity of GOT and GPT in the the goup fed compound mixture (GOT 760.4 and GPT 540 Karmen unit) and callus (GOT 772.1 and GPT 556.4 Karmen unit) was decreased in the blood serums relative to the controlled rat group (GOT 949 and GPT 640 Karmen unit) and the same result was obtained in the group fed with 0.1 g/kg sylimarin (the activity of GOT and GPT was shown 492.6 and 320.4 Karmen unit respectively. These results strongly indicate that water extracts of the mixture and callus from L. chinense do have the same decreasing effect of GOT and GPT in the hepatotoxic rat induced by CCl4.

        Influence of Cadmium on Rubisco Activation in Canavalia ensiformis L. Leaves

        We studied the effect of cadmium on chlorophylls and rubisco activation in Canavalia ensiformis L. leaves. Chlorophyll levels were reduced by 5.0 mM Cd. Rubisco activity at 5.0 mM Cd was significantly smaller than that at no treatment. Rubisco content showed patterns of change similar to rubisco activity. These data suggest that rubisco activity was associated with an amount of rubisco protein, and that the activation and induction of rubisco is inhibited by Cd. The degree of intensity of 50 and 14.5 kD polypeptides identified as the large and small subunit of rubisco by SDS-PAGE analysis at 5.0 mM Cd was significantly lower than that at control, indicating Cd had a effect on both subunits. Under the assumption that effects of Cd on rubisco may be related to rubisco activase, in addition to, its activity and content were determined. The rubisco activase activity at 5.0 mM Cd was more decreased than the control. A similar change pattern was also observed in content of rubisco activase. Remarkable differences in the intensitiy of both the 45 kD and 41 kD band were found between at control and Cd-treatment. These results suggest that the change in the levels of rubisco activase leads to a subsequent alteration of rubisco levels.

        Immunoblot Analysis of the Expression of Genes for Barley Rubisco Activase in E. coli

        Rubisco activity during photosynthesis is regulated by the rubisco activase, which facilitates the dissociation of RuBP and other inhibitory sugar phosphates from the active site of rubisco in an ATP-dependent reaction. In this paper, barley Rca genes (RcaA1, RcaA2 and RcaB) were expressed in E. coli and the activity of rubisco activase expressed was assayed biochemically by chromatography. Then the protein was identified electrophoretically by SDS-PAGE and detected immunologically by Western blot analysis using polyclonal antibodies raised against the kidney bean rubisco activase as probe. The band pattern of purified proteins on the polyacrylamide gel showed two polypeptides of 46 kD and 42 kD. Anti-rubisco activase antibodies reacted specifically with both polypeptides of 46 kD and 42 kD present in the crude extracts of E. coli transformants. Therefore, it was found that the genes of barley rubisco activase was successfully expressed in E. coli as active forms of 46 kD and 42 kD.

        Sucrose Regulates Growth and Activation of Rubisco in Tobacco Leaves In Vitro

        The influence of sucrose on in vitro growth, chlorophyll content, and rubisco/rubisco activase were studied in tobacco leaves. The most pronounced effect on in vitro growth and the chlorophyll content was found at 4% sucrose. The rubisco content increased with increasing concentrations of sucrose, but a point was reached beyond which the increasing concentrations of sucrose caused an inhibition of this enzyme. The rubisco activity showed patterns of change similar to the rubisco content. These data suggest that sucrose may have an affect on the activation and induction of rubisco and that sucrose can be both a positive effector and negative effector depend on its concentration. The degree of intensity of 55 and 15 kD polypeptides, which were identified as the large and small subunit of rubisco, respectively, by SDS-PAGE analysis at 4% sucrose was significantly higher than that of other treatments, indicating that sucrose had an effect on both subunits. We subsequently examined whether the rubisco content and activity of being induced by sucrose is associated with rubisco activase. The rubisco activase content at 4% sucrose was higher than that of other treatments. A similar change pattern was also observed in the activity of rubisco activase. The intensity of two 52 and 51 kD polypeptide bands at 4% sucrose was higher than that of corresponding bands of other treatments. The stimulatory and inhibitory effects of rubisco by sucrose seemed to be caused by rubisco activase.
