혈관 내 폐 보조장치에서 적혈구의 microencapsulation에 의한 산소전달속도의 향상

In this study, we tried to improve oxygen transfer rate and reduce pressure drop on intravascular lung assist device with microencapsulation of red blood cells, because microcapsulation of red cells reduce blood hemolysis. Hemoglobin was purified from outdated human red blood cells used. Phospholipid was purified from egg yolk. The hemosome was prepared by encapsulation of hemoglobin with phospholipid multilayer, using rotary vacuum evaporator. The function of hemosome was tested by measuring oxygen dissociation curve using blood gas analyzer. Oxygen dissociation curve of hemosome showed the same figure as the curve of normal red blood cells. Pressure drop showed lower use of hemosome rather than normal blood, because viscosity of hemosome are lower than that of normal blood. Also, oxygen transfer rate showed lower use of hemosome rather than normal blood at 2 hour, but it showed higher use of hemosome rather than normal blood after 2 hour. Because microencapsulation of normal red blood cells prevent hemolysis of normal red blood cells.

This paper is mainly concerned with the development of a remotely operated vehicle for investigation of the coastal sea. For this, we have designed and constructed a vehicle entitled KMU-ROV(Korea Maritime University Remotely Operated Vehicle), for purpose of investigation mission under 50(m) of the sea surface. We have designed six independent waterproof actuators and the housing of the controller for underwater operation. For six degree-of-freedom motion, we have analyzed the dynamics of the KMU-ROV and have designed a new composition of six actuators including the driving system. For motion control, we have composed a concurrent velocity control algorithm for controlling the speed of all the actuating motors. The control system for the KMU-ROV is composed of a master DSP controller, DSP controller for the motor control and various sensors. We composed the PID control algorithm and a network system for controlling motors using the CAN communication. The performance of the KMU-ROV was presented by testing the developed control algorithm and control system under the water.

본 연구는 전략적 제휴와 연계를 추구하는 장기 지속적인 그린IT 전략의 필요성을 제시하였다. 그린IT 기업의 사회적 압력과 환경지향성과 환경매력도가 장기 지속적 그린IT 전략에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 장기 지속적 그린 IT 전략이 환경성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 선행연구에서 종속변수로 사용되던 장기지속성을 본 논문에서는 매개변수로 설정하였다. 그린IT 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 통계패키지를 이용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 사회적 압력과 환경지향성과 환경매력도와 환경성과 사이의 관계에서 장기지속성이 매개효과가 있음을 검증하였다. TIn this paper, The need for a long-term sustainable Green IT strategy to pursue strategic partnerships and alliance was proposed. We made a research model to identify how social pressure, environmental orientation and environmental attractiveness affect into the Green IT strategy, and how Green IT strategy affects on Green IT company's environmental performance. In previous studies, the long-term persistence was used as the dependent variables, but in this paper it was used as a parameter variable. A survey of Green IT companies and a empirical analysis by statistical software package were conducted. It was verified that the mediating effect is between the social pressure, environmental orientation, environmental attractiveness and environmental performance by the long-term persistence.

N/A Objectives: The exercise test is commonly used in conjunction with baseline clinical information to estimate the likelihood that a patient has significant coronary diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine if patterns of ST depression or elevation during exercise testing provide reliable information about the location of an underlying coronary lesion. Methods: We reviewed 49patients out of 137patients who performed treadmill test and coronary angiography at National Medical Center from January, 1984 through August, 1993. All the patients underwent modified Bruce protocol treadmill exercise test and coronary angiography. Exercise ST changes were classified as depression or elevation by lead groups involved(V1-V3, V4-6, I AVL, II III AVF), Coronary angiography was done in several oblique projections and results were reviewed by at least two senior angiographers. Results: 1) There were significant stenosis in coronary angiography in 22cases(70.9%) among positive 31cases, 0cases(0%) among borderline positive 4cases, 5cases(10.2%) among negative 49cases. 11cases(47.8%) among nondiagnostic 23cases, and 3cases(25%) among pseudonormalization 12cases in exercise treadmill tests. 2) The sensitivity of treadmill exercise electrocardiography was 61.2%, and specificity was 81.8%. The sensitivity of each coronary artery diseases was 6l.7% in Left anterior descending artery disease, 66.6% in Right coronary artery disease, 38.5% in Left circumflex artery disease, 100% in 2-vessel disease, and 100% in 3-vessel disease. 3) ST depression was not useful in predicting the site of coronary artery narrowing. In contrast, ST elevation was correlated with coronary artery disease. 4) ST depression was most often seen in leads V4-V6 and leads II III AVF without correlation between the diseased coronary artery and the leads in which ST depression occurred. Conclusion: The exercise treadmill induced depression of the ST segment is an significant sign for predicting the presence of coronary artery disease and for the decision to perform coronary angiography. But, site of ST depression during exercise is not a good predictor of anatomic site of coronary artery disease. The other noninvasive test and coronary angiography may be necessary to nondiagnostic group which revealed insufficient exercise load or target heart rate during exercise test because the presence of coronary artery disease can't be ruled out.

Evaluation of Polymeric Gene Delivery System Modified with RGD Peptide for Anti-Angiogenesis

We prepared a delivery agent in which RGD peptide is conjugated to low molecular water soluble chitosan (LMWSC) in order to deliver gene to new born blood vessels. Hydrophilic property is added to LMWSC by conjugating PEG to it. The characteristic peak of phenyl group of RGD peptide that appeared at 7.2~7.3 ppm as well as the proton peak of RGD`s carbon chain that appeared at 1.2 ppm proved that LMPR is successfully synthesized. Formation of the complex of the prepared LMWSC-PEG-RGD (LMPR) and genes was confirmed by the particle size measured by TEM and DLS. TEM and DLS measurements confirmed the spherical nanoparticle size of 170 nm which is capable of delivering genes safely. The result of an electrophoresis test confirmed that genes were completely retarded at the conjugation rate of 1:20, and that a complex was formed by complete charge interaction of chitosan`s positive charge. Furthermore, the result of an MTT assay confirmed that is almost non-toxic. The proposed LMWSC-PEG-RGD (LMPR) delivery system has superior potential as a new gene delivery system that induces necrosis and apoptosis of tumor cells and obtains synergistic cancer curing effects.
