Adaboost를 이용한 모바일 환경에서의 홍채인식을 위한 눈 검출에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 adaboost(adaptive boosting)를 이용한 눈 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 adaboost를 이용한 눈 검출 알고리즘의 문제점으로 지적된, 실제 눈이 아님에도 불구하고, 눈으로 찾는 오검출율(false alarm rate)를 감소시키기 위해 각막 면에 생성되는 조명의 반사광을 모델링을 통해 추정하고 adaboost의 학습과 눈 검출에 사용되는 박스의 최적의 크기를 실험을 통해 결정하였다. 위의 결과로 검출된 눈 영역을 중심으로 일정 영역에 대하여 동공과 홍채 영역을 원형검출기(circular edge detector)를 이용하여 검출하였다. 실험결과 휴대폰으로 취득한 얼굴영상에서 약 99%의 눈 검출 정확도를 나타내었으며, 휴대폰 환경에 적용했을 때 처리시간은 1초 내외 소요됨을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose the new eye detection method by using adaboost (adaptive boosting) method. Also, to reduce the false alarm rate which identifies the non-eye region as genuine eye that is the problems of previous method using conventional adaboost, we proposed the post processing methods which used the cornea specular reflection and determined the optimized ratio of eye detecting box. Based on detected eye region by using adaboost, we performed the double circular edge detector for localizing a pupil and an iris region at the same time. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of eye detection was about 98% and the processing time was less than 1 second in mobile device.
단장증후군으로 장기간 정맥영양공급을 받는 환자에서 비타민 D 결핍

Purpose: Short bowel syndrome (SBS) is the most common etiology for intestinal failure (IF) and these patients are at high risk of developing micronutrient deficiencies. This study aimed at assessing the level of vitamins in adult SBS patients at different stages of their disease before the initiation of multidisciplinary intestinal rehabilitation. Methods: Patient data from November 2015 to March 2017 were retrospectively reviewed. Adult patients who underwent extensive bowel resection and were classified as SBS-IF were selected. Clinical data including age, sex, etiology of IF, biochemical data, nutritional status, nutrition support, and outcome of intestinal rehabilitation were analyzed. Results: Nine patients with SBS-IF were included in the analysis. There were 6 male patients and 3 female patients, with a median age of 55.0 years. Vitamin levels were analyzed at 306 days (median) after the development of SBS. At the time of vitamin levels screening, 4 patients were receiving daily intravenous vitamin supplementation. Five patients were not receiving vitamin supplementations, either intravenously or orally. Vitamin B12 was within the normal range in 6 patients and higher than normal in 3 patients. Vitamin D was within the normal range in 3 patients and lower than normal in 6 patients. Vitamin E was within the normal range in 7 patients and higher than normal in 2 patients. Folate was within the normal range in 8 patients (not checked in 1 patient). Ambulatory patients had significantly higher vitamin D levels compared to hospitalized patients (P=0.015). Conclusion: Vitamin D levels had decreased in 67% of patients with SBS in Korea, while vitamin B12, folate, and vitamin E deficiencies were rarely seen.
대졸자 직업이동경로 분석을 통한 지역노동시장과 지역대학의 경쟁력 비교

본 논문은 젊은 대졸 취업자의 임금과 직장 만족도에서의 지역 간 차이를 충남을 중심으로 실증적으로 분석한다. 한국고용정보원의 대졸자직업이동경로 조사에 대한 분석결과에 의하면, 충남의 북부권은 대학들이 밀집하여 상대적으로 높은 인구수 대비 대학생수의 비율을 보이나 대학졸업 후 상당수는 외지로 이탈하는 것으로 나타난다. 더불어, 임금에 대한 회귀분석결과는 지역 노동시장으로서 충남이 경쟁적인데 반해 충남 내 대학의 졸업생은 상대적으로 낮은 노동생산성을 나타내 경쟁적이지 못함을 함축한다. 4차 산업혁명과 같은 생산과 소비에서의 패러다임의 변화는 기술이 발전함에 따라 인적자본의 중요성을 더욱 강조할 것이다. 충남지역경제의 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 지역 내 인적자본의 축적이 요구된다. 이는 지역대학의 경쟁력 개선과 함께 지역 내 대학 졸업자들의 지역 내 정착을 위한 정책적 노력이 수반될 때 가능할 것이다. This paper empirically analyzes regional differences in wages and job satisfaction of young college graduates with a focus on Chungnam. According to the analysis results of the Korea Employment Information Service’s survey on college graduates’ migration paths for jobs, although the northern region of Chungnam, which is densely populated with universities, has a relatively high ratio of the number of college students to the population, the large portion of college graduates seem to move outside Chungnam for work. In addition, the results of the regression analysis on wages imply that Chungnam is competitive as a local labor market, whereas graduates from universities in Chungnam have relatively low labor productivity and are not competitive. Paradigm changes in production and consumption, such as the fourth industrial revolution, emphasize the importance of human capital as technology advances. For the sustainable growth of the Chungnam regional economy, the accumulation of local human capital is required. Moreover, this can be achieved by improving the competitiveness of local universities and policy efforts for local university graduates to settle in the region.

본 논문은 인구주택총조사를 이용해 충남을 중심으로 인구이동을 통한 인적 자본의 변화를 살펴보고, 충남사회조사를 이용해 충남에 계속 거주하고자 하는 의향이 개인의 속성들 간 얼마나 상이한지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, 충남은 2015년과 2020년 두 시점 간 인구이동에서 순유입지역에 해당하며 이는 충남의 인구증가가 자연적 요인에 기인하지 않고 사회적 요인에 주로 기인함을 제시한다. 하지만, 충남으로의 유입인구와 충남으로부터의 유출인구 간 학력수준은 전자가 통계적으로 유의하게 낮아 인적자본의 질적인 측면에서는 긍정적인 영향을 얻고 있지 못하다. 이러한 결과는 도민들의 향후 10년 이후 충남에 계속 거주할 의향이 고학력일수록 낮음을 보여주는 회귀분석결과와 일관된다. 그럼에도, 이주시 배우자를 동반하거나 생산가능인구에 해당할 확률이 유입인구에서 상대적으로 높아 자연적 요인에 의한 인구증가와 지역경제 활성화 측면에서는 긍정적인 효과를 가져오는 것으로 파악된다. This paper examines changes in human capital through population movement centered on Chungnam using the Population and Housing Census, and empirically analyzes how the intention to continue living in Chungnam is different across individual attributes using the Chungnam Social Survey. According to analysis results, Chungnam corresponds to a net inflow region in the population movement between 2015 and 2020, suggesting that the population growth of Chungnam is mainly due to social factors, not natural factors. However, it cannot be concluded that the net inflow has a positive effect in terms of the quality of human capital because the educational level is statistically significantly lower with the inflow to than with the outflow from Chungnam. These results are consistent with the results of regression analysis showing that the higher the educational level, the lower the intention to continue living in Chungnam after the next 10 years. Nevertheless, the probability of accompanying a spouse when moving or belonging to the working-age population is relatively high in the inflowing population, which is believed to have a positive effect in terms of population increase by natural factors and revitalization of the local economy.
승용차 현가 시스템 내구시험을 위한 가진 입력 신호의 재현에 관한 연구

The road simulators in the laboratory have become a common tool within the automotive industry for evaluation of vehicle system durability performance. These simulators need appropriate input signal generation algorithm to realize the actual driving condition due to non-linear vehicle and test rig behaviour. From a control standpoint, the iteration algorithm has proven to be a very effective method for control of complex, multiple degree-of-freedom systems. The performances of iteration algorithm are evaluated based on the variance calculated form the error between the given field data and the regenerated data in the frequency domain. In this paper, the road profile replication algorithm is verified by applying Belgian road to the developed road simulator. The experimental results are included to evaluate the performance of this simulator. This road simulator provides considerable savings in cost, development time, and testing risk during developing automotive components.<br/>
