        This study examined on the causes of chronic pain in the knee joint that was related to the aspects of teacher's job and daily lives. The subjects of investigation in this study include 237 of teachers who work at the elementary, middle and high schools. The chronic pain of knee joint of the subjects' is mainly related to their stress, and also to the vehicle that they normally use(p<0.05). This study aims at grasping the frequency of the pain which is caused by a knee joint's stress when teachers teach in a standing-up posture for many hours, looking at the aspects in the pain of knee joint that are related to job, being conducive to the development of the pain-cure, and, in addition, presenting an effective countermeasure to related agencies in order to prevent such diseases as arthritis.

        전기자극이 정상인과 요통환자의 체표면 온도 변화에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between effects of TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and IFC(Interferrential Current Therapy) to the change of body surface temperature. Cases are 22 normal persons and 22 patients with low back pain. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging system was used for the detection of body surface temperature. 50Hz in frequency and 25-35mA in intensity were applied to TENS and IFC, 15 and 10 minutes on each. The results were follows ; 1. TENS and IFC has on effect of decreasing surface temperature, which would be from cardiovascular factors. (P<0.001) 2. The influence of IFC to the body surface temperature is greater than TENS, and it seems to be vasoconstriction of sympathetic activity. 3. There were no significant differences of body surface temperature between the two groups before and after electrical stimulation.

        Recently, the problem of the elderly has become national and social issue throughout the world. And the ratio of elderly increase is expected to get accelerated more and more year after year. But the long-term care policy for the elderly in korea has not developed systematically yet. Therefore, in this study aims at searching the method for developing the long-term care policy of korea and the role of physical therapist for long-term care.

      • Slat 형 장애물이 부착된 이차원 채널유동에서의 난류열전달실험(亂流熱傳達實驗)

        Experiments were performed in order to measure the velocity profiles, pressure distributions and heat transfer coefficients of turbulent two-dimensional channel flow with slat type blockage. Air was used for working fluid in experiments. In experiments, blockage way positioned at the center between inlet and outlet sectors. Reynolds number ranged from 20,000 to 50,000 and height of blockage was varied ¼, ⅓, ½, ¾ of channel height. Velocity and pressure were measured at the inlet and outlet sections. However heat transfer coefficients were measured only at the outlet section under the constant heat flux condition. Results showed that blockage induced the variation of flow patterns arc heat transfer coefficient on the wall near blockage, Increasing the height of ,blockage and Reynolds number, recirculating region and pressure drop increased. Pressure. suddenly dropped at the just back of blockage. At the reatteching region after blockage, Nusselt numbers had maximum values. increasing the height of blockage at constant Reynolds number and decreasing the Reynolds number at constant height of blockage, the ratio of local Nusselt number to the Nusselt number of fully developed flaw increased.

      • 요실금 환자의 운동치료

        여성의 요실금 치료방법을 선택하는데 있어서는 무엇보다도 정밀한 진단이 필요하며, 이 정확한 진단을 통하여 치료방법을 선택하여야 한다. 여러 논문을 검토해본 결과 요실금 치료의 밥법은 다양하며 극히 일부분의 수술을 요하는 환자를 제외하고는 대부분의 환자가 약물이나 전기치료, 운동처방만으로도 치료가 가능하다고 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 여러 문헌을 종합하여 물리치료의 한 영역으로써 요실금 치료에 기여할 수 있는 여러 분야 중 운동치료 분야에 관해 간략히 언급하였다. 운동을 위해서는 먼저 정확한 진단과 평가가 요구되며, 초기에 각 운동을 실시할 때는 복압이 증가하지 않게 누워서 치료를 시작할 것과 쉬운 운동부터 시작하여 전차 어려운 운동으로 발전시키며, 환자의 진전에 따라 자세의 변화와 치료시간도 점점 늘여가도록 한다. 또한 요실금 환자는 커피와 같은 자극성이 있는 음료는 삼가도록 한다. 요실금에 관한 물리치료는 더욱 많은 연구와 치료개발이 필요하다고 생각되며, 임상치료에 많은 도움이 되길 바란다 The Therapeutic pattern for the urinary incontinence in women should be chosen by means of the correct diagnosis. The patient should be Supine position not to increase the, abdominal pressure, and during the early excercise, the excercise should be applied by simple pattern to complex one. The change of position sod duration of therapy are to correspond with the sequels of patient and the patient has to abstrain from stimulant food such as coffee.

        It is urgent to introduce home visiting physical therapy in order to prevent the unnecessary in-crease of demand and extravagance for the nation-wide execution of medical insurance and for the medical demand and supply of medial delivery system. We think that it is very important for us, as a physical therapist preparing 21 centry, to clearly undersand the necessity of home visiting physical therapy, which will be needed as the new therapeutic field in the future. When the terms for a new health and medical system, that is, useful trained-manpower, well-equipped facilities, financial and 1egal support, well-prepared design for this project, positives co-operation between people involved in this project, and rational development of the project is held and this project is settled by sloving the expected problems, this project will give a contribution to the promotion of national health and social welfare.

        요십 B. 티토의 유고슬라비아 연방실험에 관한 정치적 고찰 : 1990년대 이전의 티토이즘을 중심으로

        The Therapeutic pattern for the urinary incontinence in women should be chosen by means of the correct diagnosis. The therapeutic methods are various but drug therapy, electrical therapy and excercise therapy make the urinary incontinance be treated well, except some patient. This study carried out to investigate the therapeutic method for urinary incontinence by the scope of excercise therapy. The excercise therapy demands the therapist of the correct diagnosis and evaluation. The patient should be supine position not to increase the abdominal pressure, and during the early excercise, the excercise should be applied by simple pattern to complex one. The change of position and duration of therapy are to correspond with the sequels of patient and the patient has-to abstrain from stimulant food such as coffee.

      • 수중운동이 노인여성의 한발 서기 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aqua-exercise program on the balance of one leg stance in the elderly women. Subjects were fifteen member living in Daejon(15 females), between 65 and 77 years of age. The subjects was put in the aqua-exercise program for 8 weeks, between July and september, 2001. The results of this study were as follows: 1. After the exercise program, subjects showed Meaningful increase of the balance of one leg stance. 2. In comparison of balance of one leg stance with the control group, the experimental group revealed a significantly better result in the balance of one leg stance. As a result, this study shows that aqua-exercise program improves the ability of balance in the elderly women. Based on this program, constant health care for the elderly women is needed.

        To take the Far-infrared(FIR) ray which is a optimized wavewlength and strength, at first, it is to be induced the characteristic algorithm and the computerized programing of FlR radiating materials. In this study, we induced that the formular of optimized FIR with physical, mathematical logic and theory, especially, Plank, Kirchhoff, Wien, Stefan-Boltzmann's logic and law. In the long run the formular was induced with mathematical integration. since we had to know the molecular wavelength. Base on the induced formular as above, we programmed the optimized FlR radiating computerized program, it would be useful to design semiconductor( VLSI) as the FlR instrument center control system.

      • 원적외선의 인체작용메카니즘

        Until now, it has not been well known for Far-infrared(FIR) how to affect to the human body. We introduced and presumed the mechanism of FIR based on molecular biology in this study, as below. The human body is composed of proteins which get easily changed by a thermal factor (about 42 $^{\circ}$C over). FIR with low temperature can deeply penetrate on the human body composed things without troublesome, since FIR has effectively operated on the human body at low temperature (35-40 $^{\circ}$C). When FIR penetrated on the human body, it would inhibit the abnormal genes and cells expression, and then information of DNA and RNA would be reexpressed for arranging DNA and RNA abnormal state. As FIR's receptors in the body, it colud be presumed that N-glycosyl linkage of purine and deoxyribose, RNA splicing process, and heat shock protein.
