The main goal of higher education institutions is to present a high level of quality education to its students. This study uses data mining techniques to extract educational data from cumulative databases and used them to make the right decisions. This paper also aims to find the factors affecting students' academic performance in Majmaah University, KSA, during 2010 - 2017 period. The study utilized a sample of 6,158 students enrolled from two colleges, males and females. The results showed a high percentage of stumbling and dismissed between graduate and regular students where more than 62.5% failed to follow the plan. Only 2% of students scored distinction during their study of all graduated since their grade point average, secondary level, was statistically significant, where p<0.05. Dismissed percentage was higher among males. These results promoted some recommendations in which decision-makers could take them in considerations for better improvement of academic achievements: including of specialized programs to follow-up in regards to stumbling and failure. Utilization of different communication tools are needed to activate academic advisory for dismiss and dropout evaluation.

Artemisinin is effective against both chloroquine-resistant and -sensitive strains of Plasmodium species. However, the low yield of artemisinin from cultivated and wild plants is a serious limitation to the commercialization of this drug. Optimization of artemisinin yield either in vivo or in vitro is therefore highly desirable. To this end, we have overexpressed the 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl-coenzyme A reductase (HMGR) gene (hmgr) from Catharanthus roseus L. in Artemisia annua L. and analyzed its influence on artemisinin content. PCR and Southern blot analyses revealed that the transgenic plants showed stable integration of the foreign hmgr gene. The reverse transcriptase-PCR results suggested that the hmgr was expressed at the transcriptional level in transgenic lines of Artemisia annua L., while the high-performance liquid chromatography analysis showed that artemisinin content was significantly increased in a number of the transgenic lines. Artemisinin content in one of the A. annua transgenic lines was 38.9% higher than that in non-transgenic plants, and HMGR enzyme activity in transgenic A. annua L. was also higher than that in the non-transgenic lines.
BEHAVIOR OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS ON THE BOUNDARY OF THE UNIT DISC
Bulent Nafi Ornek 한국수학교육학회 2017 純粹 및 應用數學 Vol.24 No.3
In this paper, we establish lower estimates for the modulus of the non- tangential derivative of the holomorphic functionf(z) at the boundary of the unit disc. Also, we shall give an estimate below jf00(b)j according to the first nonzero Taylor coefficient of about two zeros, namely z = 0 and z0 6= 0.
Sharpened forms of analytic functions concerned with Hankel determinant
Bulent Nafi Ornek 강원경기수학회 2019 한국수학논문집 Vol.27 No.4
In this paper, we present a Schwarz lemma at the boundary for analytic functions at the unit disc, which generalizes classical Schwarz lemma for bounded analytic functions. For new inequalities, the results of Jack's lemma and Hankel determinant were used. We will get a sharp upper bound for Hankel determinant $H_{2}(1)$. Also, in a class of analytic functions on the unit disc, assuming the existence of angular limit on the boundary point, the estimations below of the modulus of angular derivative have been obtained.
Applications of the Schwarz Lemma and Jack’s Lemma for the Holomorphic Functions
Bulent Nafi Ornek,Batuhan Catal 경북대학교 자연과학대학 수학과 2020 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.60 No.3
We consider a boundary version of the Schwarz Lemma on a certain class of functions which is denoted by N. For the function f(z) = z + a2z2 + a3z3 + ... which is defined in the unit disc D such that the function f(z) belongs to the class N, we estimate from below the modulus of the angular derivative of the function f''(z)/f(z) at the boundary point c with f'(c) = 0. The sharpness of these inequalities is also proved.

The abundance of oil palm decanter cake (OPDC) is a problem in oil palm mills. However, this lignocellulosic biomass can be utilized for cellulase and polyoses production. The effectiveness of chemical and physical pretreatment in reducing the lignin content was studied by saccharification using a Celluclast 1.5 L and scanning electron microscope. Physicochemical pretreatment of OPDC with 1% (w/v) NaOH and autoclaving at 121oC for 20 min increased potential polyoses produced to 52.5%and removed 28.7% of the lignin content. The optimized conditions for cellulase production by a locally isolated fungus were a time of 120 h, a substrate of untreated OPDC,a spore concentration of 1 × 107 spore/mL, a temperature of 30oC, and a pH between 7.0 and 7.5. Trichoderma asperellum UPM1 produced carboxymethylcellulase (CMCase),β-glucosidase and filter paper activity (FPase) in the following concentrations: 17.35, 0.53, and 0.28 U/mL,respectively. Aspergillus fumigatus UPM2 produced the CMCase, β-glucosidase and FPase in the following amounts: 10.93, 0.76, and 0.24 U/mL. The cellulases from T. asperellum UPM1 produced 2.33 g/L of polyoses and the cellulases from A. fumigatus UPM2 produced 4.37 g/L of polyoses.

Different versions of the boundary Schwarz lemma for the N (ρ) class are discussed in this study. Also, for the function g(z) = z+b<sub>2</sub>z<sup>2</sup>+b<sub>3</sub>z<sup>3</sup>+... defined in the unit disc D such that g ∈ N (ρ), we estimate a modulus of the angular derivative of g(z) function at the boundary point 1 ∈ ∂D with g′(1) = 1 + σ(1 - ρ), where ρ = 1/n∑<sup>n</sup><sub>i=1</sub> g(ci) = g′(c1)+g′(c2)+:::+g′(c<sub>n</sub>)/n ∈ g′(D) and ρ ≠ 1, σ > 1 and c1; c2, ..., c<sub>n</sub> ∈ ∂D. That is, we shall give an estimate below |g′′(1)| according to the first nonzero Taylor coefficient of about two zeros, namely z = 0 and z<sub>1</sub> ≠ 0. Estimating is made by using the arithmetic average of n different derivatives g′(c<sub>1</sub>), g′(c<sub>2</sub>), ..., g′(c<sub>n</sub>).

BÜLENT NAFI ÖRNEK,TUĞBA AKYEL 한국수학교육학회 2019 純粹 및 應用數學 Vol.26 No.2
In this paper, a version of the boundary Schwarz Lemma for the holomorphic function belonging to N(α) is investigated. For the function f(z) = z + c2z2 + c3z3 + ... which is defined in the unit disc where f(z) ∈ N(α), we estimate the modulus of the angular derivative of the function f(z) at the boundary point b with f(b) = 1 b b ∫ 0 f(t)dt. The sharpness of these inequalities is also proved.
