소아에서 발생한 골수이형성 증후군 2례

Myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS) is a group of acquired conditions characterized by progressive bone marrow failure associated with normocellular or hypercellular bone marrow that cannot be attributed to nutritional deficiency, chronic infection, or other chronic systemic illness, and cannot be reversed by the successful treatment of those conditions. Whereas the cases of secondary MDS occur at all ages, primary MDS is essentially a disease of elderly, though no age group is exempt and predomonant in men. The MDS is fundamentally clonal disorders at the level of the haemopoietic totipotent stem cell. Clinically, they are characterized by varing degrees of peripheral cytopenia(s) with morphological and functional abnormalities of blood elements. We have experienced two unrelated pediatric cases, who showed pancytopenia on admission and the characteristic marrow findings of MDS. The first case, a 12 months-old girl, showed increased reticulin with abnormal localization of immature precursor cells(ALIP) in her bone marrow, in addition to dysplastic features such as bi-and multi-nucleation of late normoblasts and internuclear bridging. She also showed 22% of blasts in her bone marrow cells thus classified in the category of RAEB-t after FAB classification. Also found were a chromosomal abnormality namely 46 XX t(14q21q), which was an unusual one. Her family brought her home and, 4 month later, she deceased. The second case, a 12 year-old boy, showed pancytopenia with Pseudo-Pelger-Huet anomaly in neutrophils but no blasts in the peripheral blood. Bone marrow of this case also showed the picture of dyserythropoiesis with binuclearity, internuclear bridging, nuclear fragments, multinuclearity of late normoblasts, in addition to megaloblastoid change in the normoblasts and increased mitosis in granulocytic series. No chromosomal abnormality was found. Classified as RA after FAB classification of MDS. Showed good response to conservative management for anemia for more than one year.

헤어리베치 신품종 조생종 콜드그린과 중만생종 청파의 생육특성 및 수량성

본 시험의 목적은 대구 경북에 자생하는 헤어리베치로 다수성 조생품종과 중만생품종을 개발하기 위하여 수행하였다. 경북 성주와 경남 사천에서 1998년부터 2006년까지 자료수집 및 순화, 생육이 왕성한 조생 및 중만생계통선발, 상호교잡의 단순순환선발법으로 조생종인 콜드그린과 중만생종인 청파를 육성하였다. 육성종자는 2004년부터 2006년까지 경북성주와 경남사천에서 생육특성과 수량을 평가하였다. 줄기의 털은 콜드그린과 청파는 있었으나, 헤이메이커프러스와 라티고는 없었다. 잎의 모양은 콜드그린은 엽폭이 넓은 장타원형이고, 청파, 헤이메이커프러스, 라티고는 좁은 장타원형이었다. 꽃색은 콜드그린은 자주색이고 청파는 보라색이었다. 내한성은 성주에서 콜드그린, 청파, 라티고가 헤이메이커프러스 보다 높았으며 사천에서는 차이가 적었다. 개화기는 콜드그린과 헤이메이커프러스가 조생종으로 유사했고 중만생종인 청파는 라티고 보다 다소 빨랐다. 성주에서 건물수량은 콜드그린이 다른 품종 보다 높았으며 청파와 헤이메이커프러스는 라티고 보다 높았다(P<0.05). 2005년 사천에서는 콜드그린과 헤이메이커프러스는 다른 품종보다 높았으며, 청파는 라티고 보다 높았다(P<0.05). 베치의 조단백질 함량은 높고 ADF의 함량은 낮았다. The objective of this research was to develop a high yielding, early and medium-late flowering new hairy vetch(Vicia villosa Roth) varieties derived from an accession in Korea. Most vigorous early and medium-late flowering hairy vetch lines were selected and crossed by open pollination and their seeds were bulked and plants were reselected at Seongju in the Keongbuk and at Sacheon in the Keongnam. A performance trial was conducted to evaluate agronomic characteristics, forage quality and dry matter(DM) yield of new hairy vetch early-maturing 'Cold green' and medium-late maturing variety 'Cheong pa' at Seongju and Sacheon. 'Cold green' and 'Cheong pa' are hair but 'Haymaker plus' and 'Latigo' are nearly hairless. 'Cold green' has purple flowers while 'Cheong pa' has violet. The cold tolerance of 'Cold green,' 'Cheong pa' and 'Latigo' was higher than 'Haymaker plus' at Seong-ju, Keongbuk province, in inland region but there were a little differences at Sacheon, Keongnam province in southern coast region. Fifty percent-flowering dates of 'Cold green' and 'Haymaker plus' had earlier than others and 'Cheong pa' was earlier than 'Latigo'. The DM yield of 'Cold green' was higher than that of others, but 'Cheong pa' and 'Haymaker plus' had higher than 'Latigo' at Seong-ju(P<0.05). In Sacheon, The DM yield of 'Cold green' and 'Haymaker plus' was higher than others and 'Cheong pa' had higher than 'Latigo'.

Niwaella multifasciata Wakiya et Mori (Cobitidae)의 附屬骨格

The appendicular skeleton of Niwaella multifasciata was described as a part of systematic study of Cobitidae. In the pectoral girdle, posttemporal was sigmoid form, and upper and lower arms of cleithrum had an angle of 105°, the length of lower arm was one-third of upper one. The scapular had a foramen in the center, and actionst was consisted in three pairs of bone. Postcleithrum was absent. Pelvic girdle was consisted in a pair of innominatium and three pairs of basiost. In the pterygiophore, dorsal fin was supported by three interneural spine and thirteen basiost, and interneural spine was located between the neura니 spin of the 27-31th vertebrae. Anal fin was supported by five interhemal spine and nine basiost, interneural spine was located between the hemal spine of the 42-45th vertebras.

The following conclusion was gained to know the transition of theses on Korean Physical Education by collecting analysing and arranging the 3250 Physical theses published between 1945-1949. 1. Among all the 3250 theses, 106 theses (3.26%) before 1960. 177 theses (5.45%) before 1965, 673 theses (20.71%) before 1970, 1107 theses (34.06%) before 1975, and 1187 theses (36.52%) before 1979 were published increasing as the years passed and the number of theses tends to increase every yea.r 2. According to publishing organizations, 1059 theses (32.58%) were published at Universities, 812 theses (24.98%) at the graduate schools, 605 theses (18.62%) at the Korea Amateur Sports Association, 177 theses (5.42%) at the Korean Society of Physical Education, 148 theses (4.55%) at the Korean Federation of Education Association, and 449 theses at the miscellaneous organization. As a result of this, more theses are supposed to be published at the Graduate Schools and Universities. 3. According to the scopes of the studies, 570 theses (17.45%) in the field of athletic technique, 435 theses (13.38%) in the physical Fitness, 281 theses (8.65%) in physiology, 248 theses (7.63%) in the athletic guidance, 225 theses (6.92%) in the measurement and evaluation of physical Education were published and the tendency of the publication of theses will be done evenly in each field. 4. The theses on physical principle were published before 1960, theses on the Exercise physiology and physical Fitness before 1965, theses on the athletic technique and Exercise physiology before 1970, theses on the athletic technique and physical Fitness before 1970, theses on the athletic technique and physical Fitness were published. And in the near future it is suggested that there will be many scholars who want to study athletic technique and physical Fitness. 5. The Study on the sorts of athletics started in 1966 Among 570 theses, there were 163 theses (28.60%) on ball games, 120 theses (21.05%) on the match of game, 114 theses (20.00%) on Track and Field, 102 theses (17.89%) on gymnastics, 42 theses (7.37%) on seasonal sports. 6. According to the order of the study methods, there were 530 theses (25.54%) on measurement, 734 theses (22.58%) on essays, 463 theses (14.25%) on experiments, 383 theses (11.78%) on enquetes. A study on the essay abundant in the early period tends to be reduced and the study on material collections-treatment-interpretation-conclusion through measurement, experiment, enquete, observation, and inspection will be done eagerly.

Si 및 C이 첨가된 일방향응고 TiAl-Nb 합금의 파괴인성

The microstructure and mechanical properties of directional solidified Ti-47Al-3Nb, Ti-47Al-3Nb-0.2Si- 0.1C, Ti-47Al-3Nb-0.3Si-0.2C alloys were investigated. It was found that the lamellar thickness of Si and C doped alloys was fine and uniform, and little or no precipitates were found. Room temperature yield stress increased rapidly with increasing Si and C contents due to fine lamellar distribution and solid solution hardening. However, fracture toughness of type I specimens of the alloys decreased slightly with increasing Si and C contents. It was considered that α2 volume fraction decreased with increasing Si and C contents so that the delamination-type separation was decreased which contributes the high resistance of crack propagation for type Ⅰ specimens. Furthermore, fracture toughness of Ti-47Al-3Nb-0.2Si-0.1C alloy specimens with type Ⅰ orientation, polycrystalline form, and with type Ⅲ orientation increased in order of type Ⅲ, polycrystal and type Ⅰ. These results are discussed and the ability to obtain a respectable combination of strength and toughness through Si and C addition to a TiAl-Nb alloy produced by directional solidification is demonstrated.

작물의 수분관계 연구를 위한 pressure chamber 이용 방법

Pressure chamber는 식물체의 수분상태를 측정하는 기기로써 식물의 수분관련 생리연구나 생태연구에 광범위하게 이용되고 있다. Pressure chamber의 구조와 측정이론을 개괄·고찰하고 또다른 식물체내 수분포텐셜 측정기기인 thermocouple hygrometer와 비교하여 pressure chamber의 장·단점을 검토하였다. Pressure chamber를 이용하여 포장에서 직접식물의 수분상태를 측정할 때의 주의하여야 할 점과 압력-부피 곡선법을 통한 수분관련 parameter의 산출방법에 대해서도 관련 논문을 종합·고찰하였다. 아울러 pressure chamber의 기타 이용방법으로 식물체의 수분이동저항 측정, 토양수분포텐셜의 간접적 측정, 수액채취, 물관부 emboilsm연구 등에 대하여 언급하였다.

果采類 殘留性 農藥의 突然變異 誘發性

Salmonella typhimurium TA 균주를 이용하여 과채류 재배에 많이 사용되는 12종의 잔류성 농약에 대한 돌연변이 유발성을 검정하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 12종의 농약 중 Tedion, Monopho, Danoton, Ometon 및 Captan에 대한 돌연변이 유발성은 강하였고, Thalonil, Prosing, EPN, Phentoate, Dicopol 및 Captan에 대한 돌연변이 유발성은 중간 정도였으나, Dicopol은 돌연변이 유발성이 없었다. TA98에서, Monopho와 Danoton은 강한 돌연변이 유발성을 나타내었고, Thalonil, Prosing, EPN, Phentoate, Parathion 및 Sappiran은 중간정도의 돌연변이 유발성, Danoton은 약한 돌연변이 유발성을 나타낸 반면, Dicopol과 Sappiran은 돌연변이 유발성을 나타내지 않았다. 한편, TA100에서는 Tedion, Danoton, Ometon 및 Captan이 강한 돌연변이 유발성을, Thalonil과 Monopho는 중간 정도의 돌연변이 유발성, Prosing, Phentoate, Parathion 및 Sappiran은 약한 돌연변이 유발성을 보인 반면, EPN과 Dicopol은 돌연변이 유발성이 없었다. 따라서, EPN은 구조이동성 돌연변이를, Sappiran은 염기치환성 돌연변이를, 그리고 이들과 Dicopol을 제외한 나머지 9종의 농약은 구조이동성 및 염기치환성 돌연변이를 일으키는 돌연변이원임을 확인하였다. Twelve residual pesticides which applied on the fruits and vegetables cultivation were tested for mutagenic activity using Salmonella typhimurium TA strain. Mutagenic activities against Tedion, Monopho, Danoton, Ometon and Captan of twelve pesticides tested were strong, Thalonil, Prosing, EPN, Phentoate, Dicopol and Captan were medium, and Dicopol were no. Tedion, Monopho and Danoton showed strong mutagenic activities on TA98, Thalonil, Prosing, EPN, Phentoate, Parathion and Sappiran showed medium, and Danoton showed weak, while Dicopol and Sappiran showed no. At the other hand, Tedion, Danoton, Ometon and Captan showed strong mutagenic activities on TA100, Thalonil and Monopho showed medium and Prosing, Phentoate, Parathion and Sappiran showed weak, while EPN and Dicopol showed no. Therefore, EPN identified mutagen which induced only frameshift mutation, Sappiran was only base-substitution, and nine except these and Dicopol of twelve pesticides tested were mutagens which induced both frameshift and base-substitution mutation.

A 7-month old. castrated male Shih-tzu dog was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with history of depression. dyspnea. mild scale. tachypnea. exercise intolerance and severe leanness. On physical examination. cardiac arrhythmias was heard and heart worm ELISA test was positive. Microfilaria was found on the direct blood smear. Survey radiographs showed loss of diaphragmatic line and cardiac silhouette. displacement of lung fields and presence of gas filled intestines in the thoracic cavity. Rib fracture and pelvic fracture with callus formation were found incidentally. On the basis of physical examination and radiographic findings. it was diagnosed as traumatic diaphragmatic hernia and heart worm disease. Herniorrhaphy was performed. Postoperatively. it was treated for heart worm disease and scale. There is no evidence of recurrence of diaphragmatic hernia and heart worm disease over 1 year.

At a height of 500 meters over, the forest mostly consisted of Quercus variabilis forest. 3. We need to collect cork from Quercus variabilis growned massively and have enlarged artificial reproduction than now. 4. Cryptomeria japonica forest area that artificially reproducted at 11 block is a model managed forest. 5. According to the results, because the species defined the temperate zone, it is not suitable for the practice of students. Therefore, we need the positive act of university so that the forest species obtain the other forest zone.
