모더니즘 기법과 비판 정신의 결합 : 김수영론

김수영은 해방 후 대표적인 모더니즘 시운동의 하나인 '후반기' 동인 활동으로 시단에 입문하였다. 도시적인 감수성과 언어의 자율적인 사용을 통하여 전통 시와는 다른 새로운 시를 선도적으로 창작하였다. 또한 한국전쟁 후의 어두운 정치 사회적 환경에 적극적으로 맞서기보다 소시민적 낭만주의로 대응하였다. 그러나 4월혁명이 일어나 수많은 일반 국민들과 젊은이들이 희생당하는 것을 목격한 것을 계기로 그의 시인으로서의 자세는 크게 바뀌었다. 그는 독재정권의 폭압과 민중의 희생을 목격하고도 방관하는 지식인들의 스노비즘을 비판하면서 스스로 자신의 희생을 감수하면서 비판의 목소리를 높였고, 시작 활동을 통하여 실천적으로 저항했다. 이로써 그는 한국현대시상 선구적인 참여 시인으로 기록되고 있지만, 그의 시적 특징은 행동으로서의 참여 못지않게 모더니스트로서의 자세를 잃지 않았다는 사실이다. 김수영의 시들이 시간이 갈수록 더욱 진가를 발하는 것은 모더니즘의 빼어난 기법과 시적 주제를 한자리에 집약시켰기 때문이라고 볼 수 있다. 이것은 오늘날 포스트모더니즘적 현실하에 기법만이 시의 새로움을 보태는 줄 알고 있는 이들에게 귀감이 될 것이다. 또한 리얼리즘 시에도 새로운 등불이 되리라 생각된다. 이 시대의 진정한 본보기를 보여준 시인 김수영의 시 세계와 의식을 통해서 우리는 불의한 것에 적극적으로 대결하는 참여의식을 배웠으며, 또한 김수영의 양심적인 문학을 떠올리며 시대정신을 앞서는 또 다른 의식의 각성이 요구될 것이라는 생각을 해본다. 김수영이 우리에게 온몸으로 보여준 메시지의 핵심은 시는 결코 빼어난 기법만이 아닌, 고매한 정신을 견지할 때 시대를 넘어 오래 생명력을 지켜갈 수 있다는 것이다. Poet Kim Su-Young has a special position in history of Korean Poetry. That he is special means that his poems were new not from the modern point of view but from contemporaneous point of view. And it also means his poetry deviated a little from the trend of the poetic world of his times. After Korean liberation, he has entered into the poetry circles through Hubangi group action that represented modernism poetic movement group on Korean poetic history. Through a city feeling and self-control using a language he has always written new poems. From Post Korean War until April Revolution, he has been lived as a petty bourgeois, as good at modern poet. But looking at people's victim he has reconsidered his life style as a poet. He has been blamed the snobbism of the intellectuals, and willingly submit to victim, has make resistance to dictatorial government, and has been resisted through writing poems. His has become excellent engagement poet, also has maintainede firmly attitude as a modernist. That is Kim Soo-Young's poetic character. He has combined the modernity as poetic technique and the theme of poetry. We suppose, this is a good example to new generation confronting post-modern reality. Also, it will become a new prospect in realism poetry. Kim Soo-Young has proved that outstanding poem is based on not a excellent technique but a lofty spirit Adhering this attitude, the potry would have long life cycle, over the time.

白石 시의 토속성과 모더니티의 고리

본고는 지금까지의 백석 시의 토속성과 모더니티의 관련성을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 백석은 정주 지방의 풍속과 문화를 소재로 취하면서도 그것을 이상화시키지 않았고, 모더니즘적 기법을 사용하면서도 도회적인 이미지들을 사용하지 않았다. 백석 시의 새로움은 토석적 세계의 추구에 그치지 않고, 토속적인 세계를 가장 현대적인 시선으로 묘사하고 있다는 데 있다. 그동안 적잖은 논자들이 백석 시가 지닌 토속성이 지닌 독특성에 대하여만 주목해 왔다. 하지만 본고에서 검토한 바 백석의 시가 담지하고 있는 토속적인 시어들은 단순히 민속에 대한 관심이나 농경사회에 대한 동경은 아니었음을 알 수 있었다. 그의 토속어들은 일제의 강점하에서도 민족 의식을 고수하고 있는 자존심의 발로에서 선택된것이며 그를 통해 잃어버린 강토를 되찾고자 하는 의지의 한 표현이다. 또한 그의 토속어들은 공동체적인 언어이다. 시인 백석은 민족의 주체적 자아를 문학쪽에서 보존할 수 있는 가장 적절한 활동 영역을 농촌 공동체의 생활과 그 정서에서 찾으려 했다. 그 무렵 도시 공간에서는 이미 세기말의 타락 현상이 극심하게 일어나 인간 의식의 붕괴 및 파탄으로 점차 확대되고 있었다. 지식인들은 또한 민족 정신을 버린 채 소일본인화되어 버린 이들이 적지 않았다. 세상에 믿을 사람 없었고, 신뢰할 수 있는 한 마디 말이 없었다. 하지만 이런 가운데서도 농촌만큼은 제국주의자들의 극악한 농촌파괴 정책에도 불구하고 혈연과 거주지로 함께 엮어지는 생활공동체의 끈끈한 유대를 여전히 갖고 있었던 것이다. 이처럼 백석의 토속성은 민족의 자존과 공동체 사회의 회복에 뿌리를 두고 있다. 한편 백석은 서정시와 모더니즘적 기법을 연결시킨 시인으로서도 새롭게 조명되어야 할 것이다. 이상의 경우처럼 아방가르드적인 것으로 일관하지는 않았지만, 언어의 자율적 사용을 통하여 시어에 새로운 의미를 부여하고, 새로운 미적성취를 이룩한 것으로 기록되어야 할 것이다. 백석은 다의성의 언어와 미적 자율성의 구현으로 인하여 정지용의 시에 비견되는 독특한 모더니티를 획득했다고 평가된다. This paper's aim is to make clear the connection between folkways and modernity in poet Baek-Seok. He has been adopted the custom and culture of Jeong-Ju territory as a subject matter, but does not make it idealize, does not use urban imaginary as a modern technique. His new attempt is worth on not pursuit the world of folkways, but to describe it through a modern point of view. Former papers has been approached on originality of Baek-Seok's poetic world. But his poetic language based on folkways has not yearning about simply the customary interest or an agrarian society. His poetic language is having adopted to raise a national awareness, also is a manifesto of community. Baek_Seok has been trying find a national identity through the agrarian life and its emotion. Meanwhile, Baek-Seok must be appraised newly that has connected lylic poetry and medern technique. Not adopting avantgarde as poet Lee Sang, his new accomplishment on Aesthetics through the self-governing using of language would be recorded as a good result. Through the polysemous language and achievement of aesthetic self-governing, he is appraised as a excellent to be the sam position with poet Jeong Ji-Yong.

우리나라의 아스팔트 鋪裝構造設計에 관한 考察

It has been recommanded to use Ta method of Japan for standard method of thikness design for flexible pavement by Ministry of Construction in Korea. But in application, there was following problems to use the method in Korea since the Ta method was only a modification of AASHO road test result for Japanese circumstances. a) It classified traffic volume into A, B, C, D grades, and this classification needs verification whether it coincides with Korean traffic pattern. b) The result of CBR test will be different between Ta method and KS method, because the blow number of the former is 67 blows of three layers while the latter is 56 blows of five layers. c) H and Ta values can be used without modification only under the assumption that the pavement destruction pattern of Korea is equal to that of Japan d) It is difficult to use freezing depth equation since it does not define accurate value of factor C.

Slurry Wall 工法에서 多層土를 고려한 3次元 安定解析

In order to determine safety factor of slurry wall during excavation, the extended model, considering the effects of ground water level, external load and multilayered soil, of Bell, Piaskowski / Kowalewski and Washbourne model is presented. A computer program, called DW3D, is developed from this study. The stability analysis of slurry walls is carried out by investigating the effects of the density of slurry, ground water level, friction angle of soil, length of trench, external load and multilayered soil.

老人層에 發生한 皮膚疾患의 臨床的 觀察 : 老人層과 靑壯年層의 比較 A comparison of skin Diseases between the old age groups and the young adult age groups

Due to the advancement of modern medicine and inprovement of the public health service, the average life expectancy has steadily increased. As a result, there is a continuous increase in the number of the popultion of old age groups. The author had observed outpatients who visited at the Department of Dermatology, Korea University Hospital from 1976 to 1980. During this period, there were 17954 outpatients visited the clinic. Among these, 352 patients were over the age of 65. Cur clinical observations on this age groups for skin diseases are compared with the young adult age groups. The results are as follows: 1. Among the 352 patients of over 65 years of age, 173 patients were male and 179 were female. 2. In the order of frequency, the most common skin disease groups in the old age groups were eczema group (36.5%), fungal infection group(17.9%), viral disease group (11.4%), urticaria, drug eruption and toxic erythema group (10.8%), pruritus group (8.0%), tumor group (2.6%), and bacterial infection group (1.1%). 3. The skin diseases which showed the highest incidence among the each skin disease groups were contact dermatitis, tinea pedis, herpes zoster, acute urticaria, generalized pruritus, and benign tumor. 4. The results of the comparison between the old age groups and the young adult age groups are as follows: The old age groups had higher incidence of herpes zoster, pruritus, seborrheic dermatitis, and xerotic eczema than the young adult age groups. Furthermore, the incidence of benign skin tumors was higher in the old age groups.

자동혼합 부가중합형 실리콘고무인상재의 인장강도 및 유연성에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the tensile strength and flexibility of four automixing additional silicone rubber impression materials. To evaluate the tear resistance of impression material, the automixed impression material was cured in a 32℃ water bath with the necked specimen preparation mold for 5 minutes. Three minutes after the withdrawl from the water bath the specimens were tested for their maximum tensile strength with universal testing machine(Instron 4302, England). To evaluate the flexibility of the impression materials, the cylindrical specimen was compress 10% of the original length, and the stress produced by that compression was evaluated. The flexibility of the cylindrical specimen was evaluated at 2 minutes-, 1 hour-, and 24 hours- after being withdrawn from the curing water bath by checking the stress at 10% compression. The results were as follows; 1. Examixfine showed the highest tensile strength value at 18.11 ㎏/㎠ followed by Provil L C.D. at 16.77 ㎏/㎠. The next was Express at 12.40 ㎏/㎠ and Correct VPS showed a significantly low value at 9.62 ㎏/㎠ when compared with other groups(P<0.01). 2. Under the 10% compression, Correct VPS showed significantly low stress at 1.511 ㎏/㎠ when compared with other groups(P<0.01). The other groups were Examixfine at 1.879 ㎏/㎠, Provil at 2.025 ㎏/㎠, and Express showed significantly higher stress at 3.689 ㎏/㎠(P<0.01). 3. The order of stress from lowest to highest for the 10% compression at 1 hour- and 24 hours- after being withdrawn from the curing water bath was Correct VPS, Examixfine, Provil L C.D., and Express. In all experimental groups the stress for dimensional shortening increased as the elapsed time increased.
