Purpose: During and after Covid-19 pandemic, technology has emerged as a key factor in supporting the recovery of the economy and the rise of living standards. This study examines seven factors affecting the intention of food delivery apps usage, which include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit, and how much influence they have on the customers' behavioral continuance of food delivery apps after Covid-19 Pandemic. Research methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 473 qualified respondents from 550 respondents collected. Besides using the UTAUT2 model (Venkatesh et al., 2012), Information Quality was added to give a better explanation for the consumers’ intention towards continuance behavior using food delivery apps. The collected data is then processed using SPSS 22.0. Results: Habit factors and Information Quality factors have significant positive effects on promoting food delivery apps usage intention, which in turn influences continuance behavior. In addition, Habit factors and Information Quality factors together have an effect of 48.57% on Behavioral Intention. Conclusion: The result proves that positive habits and food information quality can increase the usage intention towards the behavioral continuance of consumers. Higher usage frequency can be improved by increasing these two factors.
Helix Nucleation via Hydrocarbon Cross-link Mimicking N-capping Box
Luong Thuy Nguyen,Huy Xuan Luong,김영우 대한화학회 2016 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.37 No.4
The N-capping box is a well-known helix-stabilizing motif with a distinct reciprocal backbone–side chain hydrogen-bonding arrangement at the N-terminus of helices. This unique N-terminal flanking motif consists of a hydrogen-bonded cycle of four amino acid residues in which the backbone amide of the N3 residue forms a hydrogen bond with the side chain of the Ncap residue, and reciprocally, the side chain of the N3 accepts a hydrogen from the Ncap amide. In this study, as a new helix-stabilizing strategy, we examined a metathesis-based cross-linking system that mimics the hydrogen bond between the Ncap amide and the side chain of the N3 at the N-terminus. Using this new system, we prepared two alanine/lysine-based model peptides and analyzed its impact on helix stabilization. We found that a 16-membered macrocycle incorporated by ring-closing metathesis effectively induces and stabilizes helical conformations of the given model sequence.

Lieu Thi Nguyen,Ninh Tran,Uematsu CHIYOMI,Katayama HIRONORI,Dung Van Luong,Son Thanh Hoang,Ky Danh NGUYEN,Hung Viet NGUYEN,Toan Canh THAI 한국식물분류학회 2018 식물 분류학회지 Vol.48 No.2
Two new species of Camellia (Theaceae) are described from Vietnam: Camellia vuquangensis Luong, Tran & L. T. Nguyen and Camellia hatinhensis Luong, Tran & L. T. Nguyen. The new taxa were col- lected from Vu Quang National Park in the center of Vietnam. The new finds are morphologically dissimilar to all known Camellia species. Recent Camellia discoveries have increased the number of species recorded in Viet- nam from 50 to 75, making Vietnam a center of diversity and a crucial area for more research into the diversity and distributions of Camellia.
Mobility Prediction Algorithms Using User Traces in Wireless Networks
Luong, Chuyen,Do, Son,Park, Hyukro,Choi, Deokjai Korea Multimedia Society 2014 멀티미디어학회논문지 Vol.17 No.8
Mobility prediction is one of hot topics using location history information. It is useful for not only user-level applications such as people finder and recommendation sharing service but also for system-level applications such as hand-off management, resource allocation, and quality of service of wireless services. Most of current prediction techniques often use a set of significant locations without taking into account possible location information changes for prediction. Markov-based, LZ-based and Prediction by Pattern Matching techniques consider interesting locations to enhance the prediction accuracy, but they do not consider interesting location changes. In our paper, we propose an algorithm which integrates the changing or emerging new location information. This approach is based on Active LeZi algorithm, but both of new location and all possible location contexts will be updated in the tree with the fixed depth. Furthermore, the tree will also be updated even when there is no new location detected but the expected route is changed. We find that our algorithm is adaptive to predict next location. We evaluate our proposed system on a part of Dartmouth dataset consisting of 1026 users. An accuracy rate of more than 84% is achieved.
The Impact of Income Inequality on Economic Growth: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam
Luong Quang HIEN 한국유통과학회 2022 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.9 No.2
Each country’s economic progress creates opportunities for its citizens to raise their income. Meanwhile, the country has secured the people’s social security policies, particularly the protection of income equality, to promote harmonious and sustained economic development. Vietnam has been located in a dynamic economic development area in Southeast Asia since the 1986 economic reforms, with an annual growth rate of around 7%. Meanwhile, having achieved a middle-income status of roughly 3500 USD per person per year, Vietnam is attempting to maintain income equality and access to welfare systems for its inhabitants. As a result, the primary goal of this study is to use an autoregressive distributed lagged model to investigate the effects of income inequality and other economic factors such as foreign direct investment and trade openness on Vietnam’s economic growth from 1992 to 2019. The research focuses attention on literature on income inequality, economic development indicators, and economic development in unique ways in this study. Income inequality slows the rate of change in economic development in the same year, according to our findings. Finally, the study will make policy suggestions to the Vietnamese government.
Technological Contribution, Capital Structure, and Firm Performance: An Empirical Study in Vietnam
LUONG, Thu Thuy Korea Distribution Science Association 2022 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.9 No.9
In 2011, the 4th industrial revolution officially occurred and developed in most countries. The fourth industrial revolution has given organizations numerous business opportunities, enabling them to optimize their manufacturing processes, cut costs, and thereby improve their operations. The development of enterprises is a decisive factor in increasing national productivity, thereby improving economic growth and per capita income. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the digital transformation plan and apply science and technology to domestic enterprises and improve the operational efficiency of the economy. Research on small and medium enterprises in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is considered a successful country in economic development and digital transformation and has become a middle-income economy and a highly open economy, the research results suggest that the ability to apply technology in businesses is capable of improving corporate financial performance. The choice of capital structure favoring debt has a negative effect on the financial performance of the enterprise; that is, enterprises in Vietnam should limit the choice of financing investment projects with debt, on the contrary, enterprises should choose to finance with equity. Finally, the study also discusses managerial implications for improving business performance in the context of the rapidly evolving 4.0 technology revolution.

Red-emitting nitride phosphors recently attracted considerable attention because of their high thermal stability and high color rendering index properties. For excellent phosphor of white light-emitting-diode, ternary nitride phosphor of Sr/SmSi5N8:Eu2+ with different Eu2+ ion concentration were synthesized by solid state reaction method. In this work, red-emitting nitride Sr/SmSi5N8:Eu2+ phosphor was successfully synthesized by using multi-step high frequency induction heat treatment. The effects of molar ratio of component and experimental conditions on luminescence property of prepared phosphors have been investigated. The structure and luminescence properties of prepared Sr/SmSi5N8:Eu2+ phosphors were investigated by XRD and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The excitation spectra of Sr/SmSi5N8:Eu2+ phosphors indicated broad excitation wavelength range of 300 - 550 nm, namely from UV to visible area with distinct enhanced emission peaks. With an increase of Eu2+ ion concentration, the peak position of emission in spectra was red-shifted from 613 to 671 nm. After via multi-step heat treatment, prepared phosphor showed excellent luminescence properties, such as high emission intensity and low thermal quenching, better than commercial phosphor of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+. Using Eu₂O₃ as a raw material for Eu2+dopant with nitrogen gas flowing instead of using commercial EuN chemical for Sr/SmSi5N8:Eu2+ synthesis is one of characteristic of this work.
Sliding Mode Control for an Intelligent Landing Gear Equipped with Magnetorheological Damper
Luong Quoc Viet,이효상,장대성,황재혁 항공우주시스템공학회 2020 항공우주시스템공학회지 Vol.14 No.2
Several uncertainties in the landing environment of an aircraft are not considered, such as the falling speed, ambient temperature, and sensor noise. These uncertainties negatively affect the performance of the controller applied to a landing gear. The sliding mode control (SMC) method, which maintains the optimal performance of a controller under uncertainties, is used in this study. The landing gear is equipped with a magnetorheological damper that changes the yield shear stress according to the applied magnetic field. The applied controller employs a hybrid control combining Skyhook control and force control. The SMC maintains the optimal performance of the hybrid control by minimizing the tracking error of the damper force, even in various landing environments where parameter uncertainties are applied. The effect of SMC is verified through co-simulation results from Simscape and Simulink.
