      • Gullian Barre Syndrome 患者 1例에 대한 症例報告

        Gullian Barre Syndrome is an acute symmetric polyradiculoneuropathy that typically presents as a progressive flaccid paralysis. The pathology is believed to be caused by both cellular and humoral immune processes The possibility of death is 3-5% and About 20% of patients require mechanical ventilaton. Recently We have experienced a patient who had suspected Gullian Barre Syndrome for 60days, his condition weakness and pain was impoved through the herb and acupucture Therefore I reported it for the treatment.

        This study was on the removal of silver ion containing photographic wastewater by BPBE cell. The experiments were performed at different voltage. electrolytic time and pH. When we inverstigated with silver removal efficiency, current efficiency and power efficiency at pH 4, 7, 9, thoese were indicatec most superior values in pH 9. And for the conditions of pH 9, l000mg-Ag/L, 3V, thoese were 93%. 40.4%, 0.54g-Ag/W .hr respectively.

        Vibrio cholerae is mainly known to cause gastrointestinal infection after seawater exposure or raw seafood intake. It is rarely reported to cause cellulitis or sepsis, but threre has been no known case after acupuncture. Herein, We report a 56-year-old cirrhotic patient of non-O1, non-O139 Vibrio cholerae septicemia caused by cellulitis of both lower extremities after acupuncture.

In case of the testing plan using the past inflation series and the future economic indicators, so-called Box-Jenkins technique with ARIMA model and causality relation analysis developed by Granger, Haugh and Sims are found to be a useful measure.

      • 만성두통환자에 대한 동서협진의 임상적 연구

        Objective : Because the cause and etiology of chronic headache are not yet fully explained, the treatment of this symptom is not simple. In order to study the effectiveness East-West pain treatment on chronic headache, we evaluated its effect of pain alleviation and quality of life improvement on chronic headache patients who were treated with nerve block and acupuncture, and only acupuncture for eight weeks. Methods : 92 clinical experiment participants were gathered and through a questionnaire patients who experienced headache for more than 4 hours a day and more than 15 days per month were qualified as chronic headache patients. The qualified patients were classified into two groups, nerve block and acupuncture group(EW group, n=49) and acupuncture group(E group, n=43). Treatment was applied 2 times a weeks for 8 weeks. The acupoints, GV20, HN23, ST8, HN46, TE17, GB20, LI20, LI11, LI14, ST36, and LR3 were stimulated for 20 minutes. The effects of two groups were analyzed using VAS scores and BPI(Brief Pain Inventory). Results : The VAS and BPI after four weeks of treatment showed significant improvement among two but differences between the three groups was statistically insignificant. The VAS and BPI of the EW group after eight weeks of treatment showed statistically significant improvement compared to the other two groups. Conclusion : The pain treatment for chronic headache might be contributed to improvement of quality of life as well as alleviation of pain of chronic headache patients. It was suggested that the West pain treatment in combination with East pain treatment might be an useful modality to improve the pain and quality of life in chronic headache patients.

      • 만성두통환자에 대한 침치료가 심박변이도에 미치는 영향

        Objective : The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of acupuncture treatment for chronic headache patients using power spectrum analysis of the heart rate variability(HRV). Methods : 15 clinical experiment participants were gathered and through a questionnaire patients who experienced headache for more than 4 hours a day and more than 15 days per month were qualified as Chronic Headache patients. Treatment was applied 2 times a weeks for 8 weeks. The acupoints, GV20, HN23, ST8, HN46, TE17, GB20, LI20, LI11, LI14, ST36, and LR3 were stimulated for 20 minutes. The effects of acupuncture treatment were analyzed using power spectrum analysis of the HRV, HRV was recorded before and after acupuncture treatment. Results : HRV before and after treatment was compared after 8 weeks of acupuncture treatment. Increase in mean values of SDNN and RMSSD were observed but the increases were not statistically significants. Increase in mean values of TP, LF and HF were observed but, the increase was significant(p<0.05) only in TP. Conclusions : The results suggest that acupuncture treatment on chronic headache patients can increase the activity of autonomic nervous system. Further use of HRV for quantitative analysis of acupuncture treatment on autonomic nervous system related symptoms is suggested.

        수종의 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타늄 파일에 의한 급한 만곡의 근관 성형시 근관형태 변화에 대한 비교연구

        본 연구는 치근첨부위의 급한 만곡을 가진 근관에서 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타늄기구를 이용해 근관 성형시 근관형태 변화에 대한 비교 연구를 함으로써 어떤 기구가 근관의 본래 형태를 잘 유지하는가를 구명하기 위하여 시행되었다. #15 finger spreader를 이용해 만곡된 근관의 주형을 형성하고 epoxy resin으로 모형 근관을 갖는 레진 블록 96개를 제작하였다. 모형 근관은 만곡의 반경이 0.5 mm, 3.0 mm.4.0 mm 및 6.0 mm를 가지며, 근관의 만곡도는 90도로 제작하였다. 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타늄 파일로 ProFile, ProTaper, Hero 642 그리고 K³를 사용하였으며 크라운다운법을 이용하여 제조회사의 지시에 따라 300 rpm으로 근관을 성형하였다. 시술 전·후사진을 디지털 카메라를 이용하여 촬영한 후, 이미지분석기를 이용하여 근관의 변화량을 측정하였다. 근관의 만곡을 따라서 치근첨 으로부터 1 mm 간격으로 계측점을 총 9부분을 설정하여 원래의 근관형태가 유지되는 정도를 측정하였다. 각 계측점에서 근관의 중심축의 변위량, 근관의 폭의 변화량을 측정하였다. 계측점에서 각 기구들간의 유의성은 Kruskal-Wallis 분석법을 이용하였고 기구간에 검정은 Mann-Whitney U-test분석법을 이용한 결과 급격히 만곡된 근관 성형시에 반경 1.5 mm의 만곡에서는 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타늄 파일을 사용시 주의를 요하며, 반경3.0 mm 이상의 만곡에서는 다른 엔진구동형 니켈-타이타눔 파일보다는 ProFile의 사용이 권고된다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate which type of Ni-Ti files are able to maintain canal configuration better in the simulated canal with abrupt curvature near it's apex. Ninety six simulated root canals were made in epoxy resin and #15 finger spreader was used as root canal templates. The simulated root canals were made with radius of curvature of 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, 6.0 mm respectively and the angle of curvature of all simulated canals were adjusted to 90 degree. The simulated canals were instrumented by ProFile, ProTaper, Hero 642, and K³ at a 300 rpm using crown-down pressureless technique. Pre-instrumented and post-instrumented images were taken by digital camera and were superimposed with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 program. Images were compared by image analysis program. The changes of canal width at the inner and outer side of the canal curvature, canal transportation were measured at 9 measuring point with 1 mm interval. Statistical analysis among the types of Ni-Ti files was performed using Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney U-test. The result was that ProFile maintain original canal configuration better than other engine driven Ni-Ti files in the canals above 3.0 mm radius of curvature, and in the 1.5 mm radius of curvature, most of Ni-Ti flies were deformed or separated during instrumentation.[J Kor Acad Cons Dent 30(4):303-311,2005]

      • 초전도 저장장치의 신경회로망 모형 및 이를 이용한 안정도해석 앨고리즘 개발에 관한 연구

        Recently the need of energy storage device such as the pumped-storage has more and more increased in power system in order to aid a side reliability. But it has the problem of environment. As an alternative way of installing it, the Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage(SMES) is widely study in a power system. Generally the SMES might divide in two class ; the storage use and the stability use. For use in storage SMES never has been construct, because of its expensive cost. Actively progressing the field of the study is for use in stability SMES, so as construction cost is relatively inexpensive. In order to application of the SMES in the power system, it has to be proven of stability efficiency through stability analysis. Stability analysis need modelling of the SMES. The existing model has been used only mathematical model that presented by first order delay time function, so that the SMES has fast response characteristic. But this kind of mathematical model of dynamic system have some problems when stability analysis requests more precision analysis. The problems are the complexity of equation, long calculus time and error of model-decision. For the purpose of settling this problems, this paper proposed an artificial neural network(ANN) methodology to make SMES modelling. ANN is presented using the input-output power characteristics of SMES. when it uses ANN which functions as a model-free system, network construction and parameters determination are carefully chosen to represent the complicated nonlinear input-output relation from the black-boxed SMES system. So far medelling of SMES by ANN never used stability analysis. In this paper, the proposed ANN-based SMES model is applied to analyze the power system stability and the simulation results provide the property of this approach.

      • 뇌성마비 아동에서 대동작기능평가(GMFM)와 보행의 시공간적 변수와의 관계

        This paper presents the relevance between GMFM and the spatiotemporal parameters of gait in children with cerebral palsy. Twenty-one chidren (73.11±30.06 months) with cerebral palsy participated in this study, GMFM was performed and spatiotemporal parameters of gait were measured by foot print gait analysis. A correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between GMFM scores and spatiotemporal parameters of gait. A linear regression analysis was employed to find how much each gait spatiotemporal parameters could be predicted from GMFM scores. The total GMFM scores was significantly correlated with walking speed, cadence, and stride length. Dimensions D (standing) and E (walking, running, and jumping) were more significantly correlated with gait spatiotemporal parameters than dimensions A (lying and rolling), B (sitting), and C (crawling and knee1ing). The GMFM scores were useful for predicting spatiotemppral parameters. However, it is difficult to predict the status of gait development using GMFM scorers because GMFM scores and gait spatiotemporal parameters are only measured as quantities not qualities. In the field, it is easily found that many children with cerebral palsy are unable to walk in any way. Consequently, gait analysis cannot be performed in many casks. Therefore, it is more reasonable to investigate the influence of GMFM on spatiotemporal parameters, rather than vice versa.

      • 견비통의 한·양방 진료 및 협진의 경제성 평가

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the cost-effectiveness of Eastern, Western and collaborative treatments and suggest a cost-effective approach for patients with frozen shoulder pain. Methods : Using the data of fifty-two patients, treatment effectiveness was measured by CSA, SPADI, and ROM scales and changes from the baseline score were evaluated. Data source for cost estimation was based on the national health insurance (NHI) payment system. Because the price in NHI was differentiated by health care institutions, five collaborative types were considered in assessing costs. Cost-effective ratios were computed tor economic evaluation. Results : Compared with Eastem treatinent, collaborative and Westerm treatments showed better effects on CSA scale after 4 weeks' treatment. The collaborative approach was also the most effective treatment on SPADI and ROM scales The direct cost per patient receiving Eastern treatment was less than other treatments. In general, collaborative treatment dominated Eastern and Western treatments in cost-effectiveness analysis However, the cost-effectiveness ratio of Eastern treatment resulted in \9,0OO compared to W29,OOO of collaborative treatment on SPADI Four different indicators of ROM scales resulted in different approaches as the cost-effective treatment. Conclusiuns : Considering cost-effectiveness ratios, collaborative treatment was the best treatment on CSA and SPADl scales after 4 weeks' treatment As for ROM scales, the recommended altematives were Eastern treatment for patients with abduction and adduction disabilities, Western treatment for those with flexion disability, and collab-orative approach for those with extension disability.
