This study was undertaken to investigate the occupant's satisfaction and actual condition of residential space in a apartment house and put a regional limit to Donghae and Samcheok city. which are classified into small-medium city located in southern part of Yongdong area. Apartment complex of over 250 households and individual apartment resident of a group from each city located in this area were chosen as the target for data analysis. Apartment chosen as a target for data analysis includes all floor plans within the apartment complex. The subject of study is limited to apartment that mas constructed since 1990 in order to suggest course of residential spaces in future apartment. The scope of ths study includes interior materials. finishing materials, electronics, illumination. interior design: standard of living, problem with internal structure and satisfaction in indoor space. This study also analyzed individual evaluation of internal structure and indoor space in apartment in which they live. The purpose of this study is to point out problems of apartment house and suggest improvement plan for it by preparing basic data for various plan for interior space at occupant's discretion and design concept through the materialization of occupant's sense of interior space which was acquired from above analysis as a multilateral approach to apartment house floor plan.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of participation in sport for all on quality of life among office workers. To achieve the aim, this study is to analyze firstly the difference of life quality depends on the Properties of office workers in terms of social demography, secondly the difference of and life quality depends on participation extent in practical sport, thirdly the effect of participation extent in practical sport on life quality, and fourthly casual relationship between participation in practical sports on life quality. Set up office workers who are working at company located in Kyounggi-do as population, and then analyzed 334 participants in sport and 383 non- Participants based on systematic cluster sampling. A tool to investigate, questionnaire was composed by total 40 questions such as 11 questions on demographic Properties, 24 Questions on leisure satisfaction, 5 questions on life satisfaction. Frequency Analysis, T-Test and One-Way ANOVA, ANCOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis were applied to analyze the collected data in accordance with the purpose of this study. Follows are results through data analysis in accordance with the above method and procedure. The first, showed a meaningful difference life duality are leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction, and leisure satisfaction showed a meaningful difference 5% in education level and family's income, and life satisfaction showed a meaningful difference 1% in education level and 0.1% in age, position and family's income. The second, life quality depends on the participation in practical sport showed a meaningful difference 0.1% in the only life satisfaction that is a sub-variable of life quality. Non-Participation group in Practical sport showed a low degree in leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction. The third, two elements influenced statically upon leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction as 1% respectively.
In order to solidify the architectural education in university, we should enlarge the opportunity of field training and develop the field training course system as a part of industry-scholastic cooperation. And we should develop new educational process to bring up potent engineers adaptable to the training affairs, faithful to the educational object of the industrial university.
Authors have reviewed emergency room violentee for 6 months and obtained following results; 1) Of violentees in the emergency room, male was 4 times much as female and a high incidence in third and fourth decade. 2) Traumatic patients were more violent than non-traumatic patients. Among traumatic: patients, assault was highest. The departmental distribution was Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine and Plastic Surgery in order. 56 patients (21.2%) was drunken status. 3) The emergency room violence occured mostly in the night shift. 4) Patient caused more violence than a guardient. It happened mostly in front of the nursing station and in the emergency care unit. 5) The most of violence happened within 30 minutes in arrival. 6) The leading cause of violence was the delay of laboratory study and treatment. 7) The violence was mostly verbal abuse to the ED nurse. 8) Sixteen cases were reported to the police and they react in average 23 minutes. It is important to know the nature of the violent in emergency room. It helps in dealing with them and makes us realize about the education and training to the emergency personnels. It is necessary to solve the problems faced in the emergency deparment not only administrative and financial aids but also further study and endeaver of the emergency personnel.
A major concern at present is the simultaneous control of transverse thickness profile and flatness in the finishing stages of hot rolling process. The mathematical modeling of hot rolling process has long been recognized to be a desirable approach to investigate rolling operating practice and the design of mill equipment to improve productivity and quality. However, many factors make the mathematical analysis of the rolling process very complex and time-consuming. In order to overcome these problems and to obtain an accurate rolling force, the predicted model of rolling force using neural networks has widely been employed. In this paper, Radial Basis Function Network(RBFN) is applied to improve the accuracy of rolling force prediction in hot rolling mill. In order to verify and analysis the performance of applied neural network, the comparison with the measured rolling force and the predicted results using two different neural networks - RBFN, MLP, has respectively been carried out. The results obtained using RBFN neural network are much more accurate those obtained the MLP.
By impproving the educational program of the Department of Architectural Engineering and studying the theory of learning and the applied method necessary for the development of nation and society, we should develop a satisfying course of education to meet the demand and skill in the industralized society for the purpose of cultivating men of baility with great personalities and creative minds. Therefore, this study focused on classifying several kinds of occupations in the prart of architectured related to what graduates from the department of Architectural Engineering go with into the society. Accordingly after choosing some works adequate to each occupation by the proposed curricula, we tried to establish the scope of education and courses corresponding to the jobs and thus and develop a satisfying curriculum.
Trauma is one of the most common causes of death. Recently, injury severity score(ISS) is widely used to evaluate and classify the patients with multiple injury. Trauma score(TS) was developed as a means of providing rapid accurate assessment of the injured patient. Authors conducted a review of trauma patients who visited the emergency department of YongDong Severance Hospital from September 1992 to August 1993. ISS and TS were collected from comprehensive initial evaluation. The results were as follows : 1) The subjects were 10.2%(2,666 patients) of total 26,202 emergency patients. 2) Male to female ratio was 2.1 : 1. The age distribution was highest under 10 year(24.9%). The mean ISS was 3.5, and the mean ISS increased with ago. 3. Analysis of injury mechanism showed high incidence of traffic accident(35.3%), blunt trauma 25.7%, fall 24.2%, stabbing 10.7%, and others 4.3% in order. 4. The 8.0% of patients were admitted after initial management and their mean Iss was 12.6 mean TS was 15.5. 5. Among admitted traffic accident patients, the mean ISS of passenger T.A., pedestrian T.A. and driver T.A. were 19.0 ±9.9, 14.4 ±10.6, and 11.3 ±7.7 respectively. 6. Among 42 mortality cases, 25 patients were D.O.A. and 17 were expired. The mean ISS of D.O.A. Patients was 30.0; the mean Iss and mean Iss and mean TS of expired patients were 28.3 and 11.8 respectively. 7. The most common cause of death was head trauma(66.7%). 8. By comparing the ISS and TS of admitted and expired patients, mortality occurred above 16 point of ISS. The mortality increased with increasing ISS, but it was influenced by the trauma site and the severity of the particular injury site. Mortality also occurred below 15 point of TS, the mortality increased inversely with TS, and the mortality with TS, and the mortality was high below 13 point (above 40%).
Education of technology should renew itself according to the demand of the change of times. Especially college of industrial technology is encouraged to develop diverse educational methods and continual educational process for the purpose of offering life-time educational opportunities, bringing up professional technicians, and re-educating the work-forces in the industry sector. Therefore, to make the education of architectural engineering substantial, the department of architectural engineering is working to develop a practical educational process by taking the following several things into consideration: job analysis of industrial society, development of educational process in the line of special necessities of college of industrial technology, actualization of subject course, industrial-academic cooperation secure of training equipment, readjustment of educational period.

<P>The cellular distribution of silica nanoparticles (NPs) in the liver is not well understood. Targeting specific cells is one of the most important issues in NP-based drug delivery to improve delivery efficacy. In this context, the present study analyzed the relative cellular distribution pattern of silica NPs in the liver, and the effect of surface energy modification on NPs. Hydrophobic NP surface modification enhanced NP delivery to the liver and liver sinusoid fFendothelial cells (LSECs). Conversely, hydrophilic NP surface modification was commensurate with targeting hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) rather than other cell types. There was no notable difference in NP delivery to Kupffer cells or hepatocytes, regardless of hydrophilic or hydrophobic NP surface modification, suggesting that both the targeting of hepatocytes and evasion of phagocytosis by Kupffer cells are not associated with surface energy modification of silica NPs. This study provides useful information to target specific cell types using silica NPs, as well as to understand the relationship between NP surface energy and the NP distribution pattern in the liver, thereby helping to establish strategies for cell targeting using various NPs.</P>
In cases of acute liver failure or acute or chronic liver failure, extracorporeal albumin dialysis utilizing a Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System has been used to treat liver failure and to reduce serum total bilirubin concentrations as a bridge therapy until either liver transplantation or spontaneous recovery. However, the procedure is expensive and is not easily administered in clinical practice. Recently, single pass albumin dialysis (SPAD) using continuous renal replacement therapy was introduced, but information is scarce regarding its efficacy in controlling serum bilirubin. The authors report a case of acute hepatitis A, in which SPAD was performed to correct severe hyperbilirubinemia.
