      • Accuracy on the Edge Detection of Topography for Digital Map Manufacture

        Currently, digital maps in the metropolitan area are supposed to be revised and renewed every two years, but it is difficulty for the renewal of current information to keep pace with the quickly changing society and so, one of the alternative methods being discussed is a digital map produced using high resolution satellites. The biggest problem in the production of digital maps using high resolution satellite images is the difficulty of production in vector resource format through edge detection of satellite images, a Raster data. In this study, topographical boundaries were detected through edge detection of the satellite image, and after vectorliezing using the screen digitizing method, the results were evaluated and compared to the digital map from the NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) for accuracy.

      • 뇌실외 배액술 관리에 대한 이해 및 업무수행 실태

        The objective of this study was to investigate the managing realities of EVD and provide a descriptive survey with the attempt to obtain basic data needed for the standardization of EVD management. For that purpose, 220 questionnaire copies were distributed to those nurses who were working with intensive care units at university hospitals, general hospitals, semi-general hospitals in Seoul, Kyongki-de and local areas. Of 158 returned questionnaire copies, 139 were used for analysis. Data were collected during the term of academic seminars of Neurosurgery Nursing Committee and KICA (Korea Intensive Care Association), ranging from Oct. 26 through 27. 2000. The tools utilized a structured questionnaire form consisting of 21 questions on general characteristics, the level of understanding, the level of work performance, standard management guidelines, etc. The data collected were analysed with frequency, percentage, mean vague, chi -square test using the SPSS 10.0 program Findings were revealed, as follows: For managing the prevention of EVD infection, aseptic technique was found to be of the most importance (48.9%),'the technique should be carried out at an operation room'(92.8%), but it was actually performed at intensive care units (over 51.5%). 'The term of antibiotics use should be less than 7 days' (81.8%), while it was actually executed for less than 7 days (49.5%). 'The proper time of quittance from it should be within less than 7 days'(74.1%) but actual quittance was executed only by 51.1%. 'Set exchange is needed' by 54.0% but actual exchange was implemented merely by 28.1%. 'The subject of management should be nurses' was reflected by 40% but actually 52.0% were carried out. As a result of hating analysed the understanding of the management of EVD by general characteristics, a significant difference was found in the necessity for set exchange by hospitals, in the time of quittance of a catheter, and in ablution items by work experience. The result of hating analysed the work performance levels of EVD management by general characteristics revealed that a significant difference in administration facilities of medicine by the classification of hospitals, especially the use of antibiotics and the quitting time of a catheter by the classification of intensive care units, and in the use of antibiotics and ablution items by the standard management guidelines.

      • Chitosan-laurate 필름의 표면성질

        Derivative of chitosan was synthesized by reacting chitosan with acetic acids. The contact angles on chitosan-laurate film were measured using dispersion(D), polar(P) and hydrogen(H) liquids. All nonpolar liquids of alkane homologues easily spread on the surface of chitosan-laurate film. On the other hand, polar or hydrogen-bonding liquids form a certain angle on the surface of chitosan-laurate film. The critical surface tensions V_(s) of chitosan-laurate film were evaluated by the Zisman plot(cos Versus V_(L)) and the other plots. New functional film for MA packaging was developed to understand the relationship between surface chemistry and wettability of chitosan-laurate film.

        Information systems are designed around information requirements or needs. However, most existing information systems do not have the capabilities required to support executives' information needs. Excecutive information systems are designed to gether, process, and displasy the information that help senior executives assess their organization's success. The successful implementation of EIS is dependent of efficient information system planning. But the correct and complete information requirements for effective EIS planning and design are frequently very difficult to obtain. In this paper, methodologies for EIS planning and design are analyzed and availability of a methodology is presented through the case study.

      • Micromonospora sp. SA-246 균주가 생산하는 Isochromanequinone계 항생물질

        저영양성 미생물을 선택적으로 분리, 배양하여 새로운 생리활성물질을 탐색하던 중 SA-246 균주가 강한 항균활성 및 암세포주에 대한 세포독성을 나타내는 것을 발견하였다. SA-246 균주의 동정을 위하여 배양적, 형태적, 생리적 특성을 ISP 방법에 따라 조사한 결과 Micromonospora 屬에 속하는 것으로 동정하였으며 따라서 Micromonospora sp. SA-246으로 명명하였다. 배양액으로 부터 용매추출, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC, HPLC 등에 의하여 활성물질을 분리, 정제하였으며 UV 흡수, mass, NMR spectrum의 분석 결과 본 활성물질을 crisamicin A로 동정하였다. 화합물 SA-246은 그람 양성 세균에 항균활성을, 폐암세포주(A549), 난포암세포주(SK-OV-3), 피부암세포주(SK-MEL-2), 신경암세포주(XF498), 대장암세포주(HCT15)에 세포독성을 나타내었다. In the course of screening for new bioactive compounds from oligotrophs in soil, a microorganism, designated as SA-246 and now identified as Micromonospora sp., has been shown to produce a strong anitbacterial compound. The active compound was purified from broth filtrate by ethylacetate extraction, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC and HPLC, and was identified as crisamicin A based on mass and NMR spectral data. The compound SA-246 exhibited not only strong anitbacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria but also cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines such as A549 (lung), SK-OV-3 (ovarian), SK-MEL-2 (melanoma), XF498 (central nervous system) and HCT15 (colon).

      • 취학전 어린이의 운동활동량에 대한 심리만족도 분석

        The purpose of this study was to clarify an psychological satisfaction of exercise for young childrens. The subjects 5-6years(n=210) engaged in touchball for 20 minutes. During that period, both amount of their exercise and joy dervier from the physical activities were measured. The amount of exercise was measured by pedometers As the results, it was deteced that during the 20minutes, the amount of exercise raged approximately from 1,200 to 1,800 in terms of pedometer count, and the degree of active group' s(A group)joy at that time was more than passvise group(B group). The results of this study suggest that the pedometer might be a valid indicator of the daily physical activity. The findings are discussed in terms of the practical applications of the pedometer in the research of daily physical activity.

      • 극한운전시 자동차의 동적안정성 해석을 위한 컴퓨터시뮬레이션

        Dynamic stability is an important factor in vehicle design. Especially, this is a very critical problem in limit driving condition for obstacle acoidance maneuver. Dynamic stability can be divided into directional and lateral stability. Losing di-rectional stability can yield spinout or plowiut and losing lateral stability can yield rollover. In this study, vehicle stability is investigated for a full vehivecle dyanamic model in linit driving. The model was analytivally validated using typical step steering and lane change simulation. Limit driving condition for the vehicle model was quoted from research results of references. It was demonstrated that instable vehicle motion was caused by not only road conditions byt also driving conditions. Also, the simulation showed that braking combined with steering caused very hazardous stiuation in crash avoidanve maneuver. Finally, phase plane plot approach was used to evaluate the dynamic instability.
