A Study on the appropriate herbal medicine according to Sasang constitution using EAV

1. Objective This is a basic study about the response of herbal medicine to EAV. The purpose was to investigate how the meridian of EAV responded to herbal medicine and how EAV was applied to the diagnosis of Sasang constitution. 2. Materials & Methods The subjects of this study were patients who were being treated in the Dept. of Constitutional Medicine ot Kyung-Hee Medical Center. The study examined how herbal medicine affected the maximum value and the indicator drop and how each constitution responded differently to the constitutional herb medicine. 3. Results & Conclusions 1) When comparing the maximum value and ID of the worst BAP before and after the experiment with herbal medicine, the maximum value significantly went up and the ID significantly went down in all the herbal medicines. So we confirmed that all the herbal medicines positively affected the change of the maximum value and ID. 2) The changes in the maximum value induced by herbal medicines were significantly different according to the constitution of Dokhual Jihwang Tang, and Hyangbuja Palmul Tang. Although Dokhual Jihwang Tang was soyangin's herb medicine in Sasang constitutional medicine, it raised the value of soeumin higher than that of soyangin. Hyangbuja Palmul Tang which was soeumin's herb medicine raised the value of soeumin higher than that of the other constitution. 3) The changes of ID were not significantly different in the constitution.

The position and magnitude of 1449 stars listed in "Seoung Kyung" (by Byung Kil Nahm, 1861) are compared with those in modern western star catalogues for their identification. 923 stars out of 1449 stars were identified within the range of accuracy. ${\Delta}{\alpha}{\leq}20^s.0,\;{\Delta}{\delta}{\leq}1'.0\;and\;{\Delta}m=0\;or\;{\pm}1$. When ${\Delta}{\alpha}\;and\;{\Delta}{\delta}$ increased to ${\Delta}{\alpha}{\leq}1^m.\;0,\;{\Delta}{\delta}{\leq}15'.0\;and\;{\Delta}m=0$ or +1, 399 more stars could be included in the list.
영유아 발달 및 미술 요소에 기초한 영유아 미술작품 분석

본 연구는 자연스런 상황에서 활동한 만 1~5세 영유아의 미술활동 결과인 미술작품을 Lowenfeld의 영유아 미술발달단계 및 김경희(2011)연구에서 지세한 미술요소 8가지를 중심으로 질적분석한 것으로 본 연구결과를 기초로 앞으로 영유아를 대상으로 한 미술활동프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제사하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구의 목적을 위하여 속초, 인제지역 어린이집 만1세~5세 영유아 200명의 작품을 수집하였으며 그 중표현의 중복성을 고려하여 151개의 작품을 선정하였다. 151개의 작품을 영유아의 미술발달단계와 미술요소를 기초로 질적분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구대상 영유아의 미술발달단계에 기초한 분석결과 Lowenfeld가 제시한 미술발달단계를 지지할 수 있는 결과가 나타났다. 다만 각 발달단계별 제시된 연령과는 조금 다르게 나타났다. 이는 영유아의 미술발달의 개인차이가 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 미술요소에 기초한 영유아 미술작품 분석 결과 1세는 주로 선과 점의 형태로 표현하였으며 2세는 세로선, 가로선, 지그재그선, 원형 등 의 다양한 선의형태가 나타났다. 1,2세는 형태, 면의 활용, 구조, 공간등에 대한 인식이 나타나지 않았으며, 3,4세는 면에 대한 인식은 아직 혼란스런 상태에 있었으며 5세가 되어야 형태, 면, 구도, 공간에 대한 인식이 비교적 보편적으로 나타났다. 색채는 연령이 증가함에 따라 더 많은 색을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 기초로 영유아 미술교육은 영유아의 미술발달을 고려하여 적합한 활동이 제시되어야 하며 미술요소를 경험적으로 인식할 수 있는 활동이 제공되는 것이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. This study is a qualitative analysis of artwork created by children within the age range of year one to five in their natural environment based on Lowenfield`s concept of level of artistic development and eight different artistic elements identified in Kim, Kyung-Hee`s study (2011). The purpose of this study is to serve as groundwork for development of art programs targeted towards children. For this study, we collected two hundred works created by children within the age range of one to five from day care centers in the Sokcho and Inje area. 151 works were then selected to serve as a sample to minimize the extent of expressional overlap in between works. The result obtained from the qualitative analysis of 151 works based on the level of artistic development and presence of artistic elements present within are as follows. First, the result obtained from an analysis of the children in the sample based on the level of artistic development supports the concept of level of artistic development put forward by Lowenfiedle. However, a slight disparity has been observed between the resulted obtained and the age associated with each level of development. This appears to be due to varying level of personal development achieved for each of the children. Second, the analysis of the children`s artworks based on the artistic elements showed that those who are a year old used lines and dots as their primary method of expression whilst two-year olds use a wide variety of lines including horizontal, vertical, zig-zag lines as well as circles. Those withing the age range of one and two showed inability to recognize forms, use of planes, structure and space while those in the age range of three and four still had imperfect recognition of planes. Only when the children reached the age of five did the recognition of forms, planes, perspectives, and spaces become more prevalent. In terms of colors used, the variety of color usage was observed to be proportional to the age of children. Based on the results obtained from this study, it was possible to note that art programs aimed towards children should involve activities that are recognized to bo appropriate for children`s level of artistic development and should also revolve around activities that allow for empirical recognition of the artistic elements.
급성기 뇌경색 환자에서 화열 관련 증상과 증후의 변화에 관한 연구

Objective : Fire and heat related symptoms and signs are considered common in acute stage of diseases. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the occurrences and changes of fire and heat related symptoms and signs in acute cerebral infarction patients. Method & subjects : 40 acute cerebral infarction patients hospitalized in Oriental medicine hospital, Kyung-Hee University, who had examined and diagnosed 2 or 3 times based on oriental medical diagnosis were selected. We chose 23 as fire and heat related symptoms and signs from 94 diagnostic articles, and we added all those scores together of each patient. We analysed the scores of fire and heat related symptoms and signs as the time passed, and depending on oriental medical diagnosis. Result : In acute cerebral infarction patients of this study, 4 of fire and heat related symptoms and signs were took 1st, 2nd, 4th and 8th places in most changeable 10 articles of total 94 articles. The mean score of fire and heat related symptoms and signs of all patients were decreased significantly over the 3 times of measurements. The 8 patients diagnosed as fire and heat diagnosis at visit1 were samely diagnosed as fire and heat diagnosis at visit2, and at visit3 5 patients of them except for 3 patients excluded between visit2 and visit3, were still diagnosed as fire and heat diagnosis. At all of 3 measuring times, the scores of fire and heat related symptoms and signs of fire and heat diagnosis group were higher than non-fire and heat diagnosis group. Conclusion : This study indicated that fire and heat related symptoms and signs were very changeable phenomenon in acute cerebral infarction patients. And they decreased as time goes on.

In 2019, the daily generation of food waste in Korea was 14,314 tons, which is a steady increase compared to the past. To efficiently use food waste as an effective resource, composting and feeding are carried out. In Korea, attention is gradually focused on a sustainable resource circulation society. Compost made of food waste has problems with foreign substances, heavy metals, and salt content, and solid fuelization research is being actively conducted to compensate for this. In this study, infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), organic content measurement(TGA), and chemical composition were measured to compare the fuel characteristics with wood pellets, which are major solid fuels, in order to examine the physical and chemical properties of food waste compost.

The main objectives of this studies are to present the most desirable rice processing complex model system in a given our situations by comparision and analyzing the major factors and, also recommend the future prospect of the rice processing complex in Korea. There are 3 different rice processing complex models in Korea. Those are concrete bin, flat type steel bin and square bin. These systems have a lot of differences and have their own characteristics such as capital requirement, efficiency, storage capacity and quality controls. The major problems of the existing rice processing centers in Korea are high fixed cost and the unbalnced systems. Following is summary to solve this problems: 1. Development of the large scale harvester and high speed continuous dryer. 2. Quality inspective system of bulk grain and large scale temporary storage facilities. 3. Large size readjustment of arable land. 4. Select the convenient location of rice processing center and formulation of well equipment facilities.

Radiologic images are widely used in hospitals for diagnosing and treating patients' diseases. The radiologist accurately reads radiologic images, and thus helps diagnose patients correctly. The number of radiologists is much smaller than is necessary, however. In some small or rural hospitals, there are no radiologists residing there. In these cases, correct diagnosis and treatment are infeasible. Also, radiologists are not resident at hospitals all day long[1][2][3]. Thus, emergency patients would suffer from the absence of radiologists at night. XRay21 Inc. and Data & Knowledge Engineering Lab. at Kang won National University have been working together since 2000 in order to alleviate the problems above. Currently, the advances of the computer and network technology make it possible to connect a lot of radiologists and hospitals together through the Internet. By fully utilizing the Internet environment, we have developed a telemedicine system, thus permitting remote diagnosis of radiologic images. This paper presents the technical experiences obtained in developing the system.
