This study was to analysis a relationship between socio-economic characteristics, social relation satisfaction, and the adherence of social relation at the commercial sports centers. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, some members of commercial sports center held in Seoul were set as a collected group. Then, using the cluster random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 713 people in total The material collection device was the brochure named <the survey on socio-economic characteristics, social relation satisfaction, and the adherence of social relation at the commercial sports centers>. The result of reliability check up was here below; social interaction, Chronbach' α=.840~.915, the satisfaction according to social relation, α=.787, the adherence of social relation α=.847. To analyze materials, factor analysis, reliability analysis, oneway-ANOVA, multiple-regression were used as statistic analysis techniques. The conclusion based on above study method and the result of material analysis are here below. First, it is found that there is a significant difference in satisfaction according to social relation. Second, it is found that there is a significant difference in the adherence of social relation. Third, the satisfaction according to social relation influences on the adherence of social relation.

국제전략적제휴 참여기업들의 생산성 향상에 관한 연구

This paper examined the productivity of partners in international strategic alliances. Trust and commitment were used as the proxy for the partnership of strategic alliances. Financial position and complementarity of capital investment were used as the proxy for the capital investment of inter-firm alliances. Market strength and experiences of allianced firm were used as the proxy for the relative size of strategic alliances. Productivity was measured by value-added output of labor. Characteristics of industry and technology related investment were used as the proxy for the control forces. In order to verify the hypotheses, some tools were used such as reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. Based on the analysis of the 123 strategic alliances cases, the following results were found. First, it was found that the capital investment of inter-firm alliance and relative size of alliance firm have a significant positive influences on the productivity of participants in international strategic alliances. Second, complementarity of capital investment and market strength of alliance firms have a significant positive influences on the productivity of partners in international strategic alliances. Third, technology related investment has a significant influence on the productivity of partners in international strategic alliances.

This paper examined value-added chain activities and physical distribution system performance. Research and development, production management, physical distribution management, and marketing and sales were used as proxy for the primary activities. Human resource management, technology development, out sourcing support were used as proxy for the support activities. Improvement of customer service was used as proxy for the performance of physical distribution system. Based on the analysis of one hundred eight cases, the following results were found. First, it was found that the primary activities forces have a positive influences on the performance of physical distribution system. Second, the production management and research and development of primary activities have a positive influences on the performance of physical distribution system. Third, the technology development of support activities have a negative influences on the performance of physical distribution system.

Study of seeking a new effective method in science education is not particularly a fresh task though the better methods should be continuously sought by anyone in any countries. Korea faces a new era in which she is about to join a rank of developed countries of the world by the results of industrialization and modernization. The Korean government as an effort for the popularization of scientific attitude invested considerable amount of funds in the field of scientific publications, libraries, seminars, adults education and lecture series, which contributed for the purpose greatly Re-examination of historical development of the scientific and technological concepts suggests a trend of present and future aspects of what we need to study. Korea should have own style for the methods in the science education. Encouragement of nation by the governmental scientific policy, reconfirmation of the philosophy of science, repented training of science teachers, the popularization of science by means of every possible opportunity and le-organization of the science curriculum will definitely accelerate a degree of progress in the course of science education.

Personalized Nutrition based on Clinical & Genome Data

In the age of personalized nutrition, it is the main desire of consumers to find a nutritional supplement and diet that suits them, and research and industries has targeted these new trends. What is meaningful to the population on average is not necessarily what an individual needs. Big data-based nutrition used to refer to finding statistical significance based on data obtained through a large group, but now it focuses on individuals rather than groups, and recommends nutrition as the basis for various biomarkers produced by individuals. Clinical biomarkers corresponding to personalized nutrition are very diverse, such as genome, microbiome, metabolites, telomeres, autonomic nerves, hair mineral tests, food antibody tests, data obtained through digital healthcare, personal questionnaires, and symptoms. Therefore, the author would like to share the experience of treating patients, recommending, and prescribing customized nutrition, and monitoring the patient’s condition based on various data as well as academic evidence. In particular, through the well-care project of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, which is being carried out recently, we intend to provide an interim report on the collection of various clinical data that is the basis for customized nutrition, and present a business model that can make customized nutrition recommendations based on these data in the future.

The Economic Effects of APEC's Open Regionalism

This paper examined the economic effects of APEC's open regionalism. Based on the data collect with welfare level, income level, inflation, and trade balance, we supposed that world economy was made up four economic blocks and three major regions. In order to verify these research question, a few tools were used such as statistic analysis included MANOVA analysis. Based on the analysis of the data, the following results were found. First, the economic effects for the trade liberalization of world can be enhanced through an open regionalization of intra-APEC. Second, the economic effects for free trade agreements of world can be enhanced through the economic effects of intra-regional trade by welfare level, income level, inflation, and trade balance. Third, empirical analysis from the cases of the economic effects relationship of intra-regions proves that an open regionalism of APEC will certainly introduce an economic effect on its members. This means that, in the pursuit of a Free Trade Agreement, it is desirable for Korea to establish a Free Trade Agreement with advanced countries such as U.S. or Japan, to maximize the benefit of economic effect. However, there are several limitations, such as the economic effects by the reduction of tariff, measurement for economic effects, and sample and data collection, that make the preceding conclusions be considered preliminary. 본 논문은 국가간 복지수준, 소득수준, 물가, 무역수지 등의 경제적 지표를 기초로 APEC 의 개방적 지역주의하에서의 경제적 효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, APEC 역내권 내의 활발한 개방적 지역주의의 채택은 전세계 무역자유화의 경제적 효과를 증진시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 역내권 내의 국가간 복지수준, 소득수준, 물가, 무역수지 등의 무역 효과는 전세계 자유무역지역의 경제적 효과를 증진시킬 수 있다. 셋째, APEC 회원국간의 개방적 지역주의의 채택은 역내권 내 및 역외권 간의 경제적 효과를 증진시킬 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 미국과 일본 등의 선진국들과 활발한 자유무역지역을 체결하는 것이 한국 자유무역지역의 경제적 효과를 높일 수 있다는 것을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구는 관세인하에 의한 경제적 효과, 경제적 효과의 측정, 표본 및 자료수집 등의 측면에서 개방적 지역주의의 경제적 효과를 제한적으로 논의하였다는 점에서 연구의 한계점을 남긴다.

ANALYSIS ON THE PHOTOMETRIC ORBIT OF DI PEGASI

The photometric orbital elements of an Algol-type eclipsing variable, DI Pegasi, are derived by means of Fourier transforms from two-color photoelectric observations. The system shows a long term variation of its orbital period, which is interpreted as due to a continuing mass loss mechanism from the secondary component. Physical dimensions and a model of the system are also suggested here.

Photometric Orbital Analysis of an Eclipsing Binary System, RZ Draconis

Two-Color photoelectric observations were made at Flower and Cook Observatory, University of Pennsylvania. Since the spectroscopic elements are available for the system, derivation of an absolute physical dimension is now expected to be feasible. Results of computation of the orbital elements lead to a fact that the system shows an annular eclipse rather than a partial which is a finding reported by Shapley.
