        Electronic water pump(EWP) of vehicle automatically can run engine cooling function regardless of engine speed, so that it reduces remarkably fuel consumption. A numerical analysis was carried out in order to optimize the impeller and volute design for EWP and to investigate the sensitivity of the related parameters using CFD commercial code FLUENT V14.5. The feasible range of related parameters for EWP was obtained. The obtained result will be applied to develop EWP as important design data

      • 재생 폴리에텔렌의 기계적 성질 : 충격 보강재 효과에 대하여

        본 연구는 재활용이 가능한 폴리에틸렌 필름 등에 비산회(Fly Ash) 등의 충진재를 사용하여, 신재와 물성을 비교하여 재생 PE의 재활용 가능성 및 사용 가능한 충진재의 종류를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 본 연구에서는 치합형 동방향 회전 이축 압출기(Fully Intermeshing Co-rotating Twin Screw Extruder)를 이용해서 재생 Polyethylene에 비산회 및 다양한 충진재(filler)를 첨가하여 ASTM에 의거하여 충격시편을 만들었고, 각 충진재의 무게비에 따른 충진재 충격 시험을 하였으며 Capillary Rheometer를 이용하여 유변학적인 성질을 분석해 보았다.

      • 줄넘기 운동과 달리기 운동이 비만 초등학생의 신체성분 변화 및 기초체력에 미치는 영향

        This study has it's purpose on choosing a reasonable exercising program and finding detailed training skills for preventing child obesity and increasing physical fitness, by analyzing the correlation the improvement of body composition with increase of physical fitness through Jumping-rope exercise and interval running training for obesity children. To study a new program, we divided into Jumping-rope group(l0) and interval running group(l0), then trained them with a new program for 12 weeks. After measuring subjects body composition and physical fitness, we tested the means of each difference, the results are as followings. First, body composition were effective for muscle(p<.001), fat(p<.01), in Jumping-rope group and moisture(p<.05), muscle(p<.001) in running group. Second, basic physical fitness, was effective for 50m run(p<.01), sit-up(p<.001), 1000m run(p <.05), bending-down(p<.001) in jumping-rope group and 50m run(p<.001), a long jump(p<.001), sit-up(p<.001), 1000m run(p<.01), bending-down(p<.001) in running group. Third, there was nothing significant for body water(p<.696), muscle(p<.516), fat(p<.606) in two groups. Fourth, we got a significant difference in 1000m run(p<.05) from two groups. As a conclusion, according to this study, jumping-rope affected positively in body composition, while running did in physical fitness.

        These experiments were carried out to determine the effects of liberal feeding of rabbit feces, urine and residual forage on the growth feed efficiency and production economy of pigs. This report was based on the results from 5 experiments from 1976 to 1979. The result obtained were summarized as follows: 1. The liberal feeding of rabbit feces, urine and residual forage to the weaned pigs and growing-finishing pigs resulted in the slight improvement in daily gain and feed efficiency and the decrease in feed cost per ㎏ of body gain. 2. The rabbit feces and residual forage contaminated with the rabbit urine were found to be palatable to pigs through the experiments. 3. The health of pigs consuming the rabbit waste was found normal clinically. 4. The Urea-N concentration of blood plasma was considerably in creased in the pigs consuming the rabbit waste. 5. The dressing percentage and the yield of pork cuts were not significantly changed by the feeding of rabbit waste and residual forage. From the above results it was concluded that the rabbit waste and residual forage be fed liberally by pigs with establishing the rabbit hatches over the pig barn and yard and this housing and feeding systems be beneficial to both rabbit and pigs production economy.

      • 톡소포자충 배양시 약제투여에 따른 Toxoplasma P30 유전자의 발현

        To know the drugs effect on gene expression and its regulating mechanism by RT-PCR and southern blot hybridization assay based on detection of the P30 gene encoding the major surface antigen, P30 of Toxoplasma gondii and the DNA synthesis in T. gondii infected HeLa cells. The experiment was performed and the results were as follows. 1. The thymidine incooperation in DNA of HeLa cell and T. gondii infected HeLa cell reached peak level at 36 hours and suddenly decreased at 48 hours. The uracil incooperation in DNA of T. gondii reached peak level at 48 hours. 2. The decrease of P30 gene expression began from 24 hours after pyrimethamine treated and 36 hours after methotrexate treated in T. gondii. The results were some what different. Pyrimethamine was more sensitive and acted earlier to T. gondii than Methotrexate did. The decrease of P30 gene expression of T. gondii was regulated these drugs in dose dependent manner. 3. The effects of dibutyryl cyclic AMP on P30 gene expression increased peak at 24 hours and on contrary decreased at 60 hours after treatment in dose dependent manner, but at 10mM high concentration of dibutyryl cAMP, P30 gene expression was supressed. 4. Actinomycine D supressed the P30 gene expression of T. gondii in HeLa cell. As the results, we presume pyrimethamine acts more powerful and earlier to supresses P30 gene expression than methotrexate, and it is regulated at transcription level. The results of RT-PCR were in agreement with that of southern blot hybridization.

      • 유동가시화용 저난류 연풍동의 개발

        본 연구에서는 2차원 아음속 저난류 연풍동을 개발할 목적으로 이론 해석에 근거하여 주요구성 부분인 정체부, 수축부, 시험부, 확산부, 송풍장치 그리고 연기발생장치를 설계하였고, 장치를 제작하여 연풍동의 성능을 시험하였으며 기본 모델 주위의 유동 현상을 가시화하여 관찰하였다. 수축부의 수축비는 20으로 하였고 2차원 유동이 될 수 있도록 곡률반경을 정체부 폭의 0.5배로 하였으며 시험부는 2차원 유동이 되도록 단면비를 10으로 하였다. 확산부는 저난류 풍동의 설계요구조건에 맞도록 확산각을 결정하였고, 송풍기의 동력은 가시풍속범위와 시험부의 단면크기에 따라 결정하였다. 연기발생장치는 가시화 범위를 넓게 하는데 중요한 역할을 하기 때문에 가장 많이 사용되는 파라핀 오일을 이용한 연기발생장치를 모델로 하여 설계 제작 하였다. 연기발생장치에서 연기분출노즐의 수는 19∼22개가 적당하고, 노즐의 내경은 2∼2.5㎜가 적당 하였으며 연기발생장치의 경사도는 약 15도가 가장 우수하였다. 제작된 연풍동의 형태는 open suction type이며 시험부의 단면은 35㎜×350㎜이고 길이는 500㎜이다. 제작된 연풍동 시험부에서의 시간과 위치에 따른 속도 변화는 9m/sec에서 가장 크게 나타났으며 이때 최대변화량은 ±1.1%로서 연풍동의 성능은 우수하였다. In order to develope a two -dimensional low turbulence smoke wind tunnel, calming section, contraction section, test section, diffuser, blower and smoke generator of a smoke tunnel are designed and manufactured. Performance of the smoke tunnel is evaluated and flow visualization tests around some models are conducted in the smoke tunnel. To obtain two-dimensional flow in the test section the following values are chosen: contraction ratio of contraction section is 20, radius of curvature of contraction section is 0.5 times the width of calming section and aspect ratio of the test section is 10. Diffuser angle is designed to satisfy the low turbulence wind tunnel criteria. Blower power is determined based on the mean velocity and dimension of test section. Paraffin oil used for smoke generation. It appears that 19∼22 smoke nozzles are appropriate for the rake, nozzle diameters of 2∼2.5㎜ are adquate for smoke visualization and inclined angle of 15 degree in the smoke generator is most effective for smoke generation. Smoke tunnel is open suction type and dimensions of test section are 35㎜ wide, 350㎜ high and 500㎜ long. Maximum variation of the mean velocity in the test section is ±1.1% at the mean velocity of 9m/sec. The smoke tunnel may be considered as a high performance tunnel for flow visualization.

        Diethylaniline and benzidine, the nitrogen containing organic chemicals, decomposed by supercritical water oxidation. The experiments were performed at temperature range between 380℃ and 448℃ in batch reactor. Oxygen was used as oxidant. Reaction orders for each reactants were determined by differential method.       • 흡입과 취출이 있는 원통형 시린더 주위 유동의 가시화

        원형 실린더 주위의 유동 현상을 가시화 하기 위하여 2차원 연풍동을 사용하였다. 연풍동의 풍속범위는 0.1m/s ~1.2m/s이며 원형 실린더 모델의 외경은 32㎜이고 실린더 벽면에 30도의 등간격으로 3.5㎜ 직경의 구멍 12개를 만들었다. 벽면에서 슬롯을 이용한 흡입, 취출 또는 흡입과 취출의 조합된 경계층 제어방법이 원형 실린더 모델 주위의 박리와 후류에 미치는 영향을 가시화하였다. 자유흐름의 유속이 일정할 때 흡입량과 취출량이 증가할수록 경계층 제어는 명확히 나타났다. 흡입은 상류정체점 부근 3개의 슬롯에서 흡입할 때 가장 효과적이고, 취출은 하류정체점에 있는 취출공에서 취출할 때 가장 효과적이다. 흡입과 취출을 조합한 경계층 제어방법은 흡입 또는 취출만이 있는 경우보다 경계층 제어에 있어 효과적인 제어방법임을 확인하였다. Two-dimensional smoke wind tunnel is used to visualize the flow phenomena around a circular cylinder. Flow velocity in the smoke tunnel is varied from 0.1 m/s to 1.2 m/s. Outside diameter of the cylindrical model is 32㎜ diameter are drilled on the wall with 30 degree pitch. Effects of slot suction, slot blowing and combination of slot suction and blowing from the wall of a cylindrical model on the flow separation and down stream wake are observed. Boundary layer control by suction or blowing is more pronounced as the suction rate or the blowing rate increases for a given free stream velocity. Slot suction is most effective when the flow is sucded through 3 holes, one hole at the upstream stagnation point and two holes of 30 degree apart fromm the stagnation point. Slot blowing is most effective when blowing is applied through a hole at the down stream stagnation point. Combined method of upstream suction and down stream blowing is more effective in controlling the boundary layer than the suction or blowing only.

      • 골프 드라이버와 아이언 스윙 동작의 운동학적 변인 비교 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 국내 정상급 PGA 프로 골퍼의 드라이버와 아이언 스윙 동작의 운동학적인 변인을 3차원적으로 분석하여 골프 스윙 동작의 운동학적인 원리를 제시하는 데 있다. 이에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 스윙 국면별 소요시간은 두 스윙 모두 다운 스윙이 백 스윙의 1/4정도로 나타났고, 어드레스와 임팩트시의 신체중심위치도 거의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 클럽헤드의 최고속도는 드라이버의 경우 43.23m/s, 아이언은 37.23m/s, 볼의 속도는 각각 65.81m/s, 47.40m/s로 나타났다. 또한 톱 스윙시 어깨 관절의 회전각은 드라이버 스윙이 110.7˚ , 아이언 스윙이 94.2˚ , 고관절의 회전각은 각각 31.5˚ , 17.6˚ 로 나타났다. 한편, 양발 중심의 사이각은 어드레스시 각각 -1.1˚ , -3.4˚ , 톱 스윙시 오른 무릎각은 156.1˚ , 159.6˚ , 임팩트시 왼 무릎각은 151.9˚ , 146.1˚ 로 나타났으며, 코킹각은 각각 87.7˚ , 89.8˚ , 임팩트시에는 150.80˚ , 145.6˚ 로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare Driver and Iron swing motion performed by PGA professional golfers of supreme class. The subjects of this study were five KPGA professional golfers who had 10 years of career. The experiment for this study was conducted by utilizing two 16mm high speed cameras set at the nominal speed of 250frames/second. The conclusions were : Down swing time was approximately 1/4 of the back swing time, and the COG position was relatively fixed in a location at the instant of address and impact. The maximum velocity of clubhead was 43.23m/s, 37.23m/s, and the ball velocity was 65.81m/s, 47.40m/s. Also, the shoulder angle at the instant of topswing was 110.7˚ , 94.2˚ , and hip angle was 31.5˚ , 17.6˚ . The foot rotation angle at the instant of address was -1.1˚ , -3.4˚ . The right knee angle at the instant of topswing was 156.1˚ , 159.6˚ and the left knee angle at the instant of impact was 151.9˚ , 146.1˚ . The cocking angle at the instant of topswing was 87.7˚ , 89.8˚ and at the instant of impact was 150.8˚ , 145.6˚ . The clubshaft angle at the instant of middownswing was 186.6˚ , 178.1˚ and at the instant of impact was 123.3˚ , 146.8˚ .
