        0.412 MeV 감마선에 대한 원주형 NaI(Tl) 섬광체의 총 절대검출효율 계산

        Total absolute detection efficiencies of a 7.62 cm(dia.) and 7.62 cm(height) cylindrical NaI(Tl) crystal have been calculated for 0.412 MeV r -rays from a source(point, circular disk, square and line type). In this calculation the linear energy-absorption coefficients based on Hubbell's data have been considered and then calculated total absolute detection efficiencies compared with those from Grosjean and Bossaert. Besides, the source axis-to-detector axis shift distance which, could give rise to about 0.05% deviation in the total absolute detection efficiencies has been calculated for a line-type source of 0.5 cm in its length when a source-to-detector distance is 5 cm. It is revealed that the total absolute detection efficiencies obtained in this study are considerably different from those of Grosjean and Bossaert. In addition it is found that the deviation induced due to an imperfect center of a line type source may be within 0.05% if the shifted discrepancy is no larger than 1.74mm.

        The Comprehensive Examination for the undergraduate students is planned to adopt the Jeonbug National University for the purpose of enhancing the quality of its educational outputs. In order to effectively measure and evaluate the level of student progress toward the minimun standard as the students who have finished their general education and basic education for their major field study, the university has decided to make an item pool related to the subjects for the examination. This study is an attempt to make good items of five required courses among general education subjects which are Korean Language, English, Korean History, National Ethics. and Natural Science and are expected to be the subjects of the examination. Instead of making those items separately from the regular examination during the academic semesters, the university plans to collect and use good items from the usual mid-term and final examinations of those subjects. A key concern, in this study, therefore, is to analyze all the items used for the mid-term and final examinations of those subjects during the regular academic semesters. From the data of an about 100 sample in each subject at each time of total three tests, the difficulty index, discrimination index, the response rate of students on each item, and other general descriptive statistics are calculated and then good items are pooled for the future use for the Comprehensive Examination. Anhother important concern in this study is this study is given to the collection and analysis of controversial issues and problems on the process of operating the examination at other universities where the Comprehensive Examination is already adopted. The data from four institutions and from opinions of six participants of this study are used. The following main findidings are summarized : 1. The items have generally shown to be easy while the degree of discrimination is low. 2. Among the five subjects, Korean Language shows the highest rate of right answer (difficulty index) while English the strongest one in the discrimination index. 3. When comparing two types of test between the multiple choice and the short-answer, the latter seems to be powerful in both difficulty and discriminative. 4. The only one question of essay type test reveals clear limitations in scoring and evaluating students progress. 5. All items are constructed under the consideration of content-referenced base, not of the basis on behavioral aspect. 6. The analysis of issues and problems related to the Comprehensive Examination suggests that it is acceptable to test in terms of required subjects of general education and a few most basic subjects of major areas of study. 7. The examination can be functionally operated when it is held at the end of the first year of and before the beginning of the second year of the college years. The length of the examination is usally held from three to five hours. 8. Since the examination should be existed on the idea of criterion-referenced base rather than of norm-referenced one because of its testing the qualification of the entering behavior of students for the further study in their major field, the standard of the pass-and-failure should be set on at least 60 percent of correct answers in each subject. But there must be provided at least two additional opportunities for the make-up examination for those who failed in the first one. 9. A special committee must be established in order to deal with all the details related to the Comprehensive Examination.

        This paper aims at providing a concrete plan to improve technical and vocational teacher education in the College of Industrial Education of Chungnam National University. It is intended to propose a practical four-year regular and short-term course. Also, the estimated required facilities is included in this study as well as their management. The main conclusions and recommendations are summarized as follows; 1) The numbers of students enrollment should be reduced to 220 students which is the approximate number of future demand. 2) In order to offer to the students a broader education and to cope with the increase/decrease in demand of technical and vocational teacher within a specific field, the 8 department existing at the present (Department of Architecture Engineering Education, Civil Eng. Educ., Metallurgical Eng. Educ., Mechanical Eng. .Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Electronic Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.) would be combined into 5 (Department of Construction Engineering Education, Mechanical Eng. Educ., Electrical Eng. Educ., Industrial Chemistry Educ. and Industrial Technology Educ.). 3) The short-term course program is recommened to provide additional training and education to those candidates who already have experience in technical fields to meet an occasional demand. 4) It is necessary to add the Teaching Profession Section in the administrative organization of the College.

        Exposure to Ethyl Carbamate by Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages Imported in Korea

        Determination of ethyl carbamate content in imported alcoholic beverages in Korea and an exposure assessment were conducted. In gas chromatography/mass spectrometry/selected ion monitoring (GC/MS/SIM) analysis, 2.5-39, 8-263, 6.3-112, 11.3-23.5, 53-94, 8.5-38.5, 7-9.5, 21.3-31.5, 5-832.5, and 10.5-364.8 μg/L of ethyl carbamate were detected in imported beers, sakes, whiskies, vodkas, Chinese liquors, cognacs, tequilas, rums, liqueurs, and wines, respectively. The exposure assessment indicated that the exposure of Korean adults to ethyl carbamate were lower than 20 ng/kg BW per day, (the virtual safe dose) indicating that the amount of ethyl carbamate exposed through fermented food and alcoholic beverages including imported products are currently in the ‘no significant risk level’. However, the present low exposure to ethyl carbamate through the imported alcoholic products was not due to the low contents of ethyl carbamate in imported products, but low consumption of the imported products. Therefore, given increasing importation of alcoholic beverages in Korea, reductions of ethyl carbamate content in imported alcoholic beverages, especially non-distilled products, should be required by regulating limits on the ethyl carbamate content in the imported alcoholic beverages.

      • Preparation of Cross-linked Asymmetric Membrane and Control of Its Morphology and Mechanical Property

        Polystyrene-co-divinylbenzene (PS-co-DVB) asymmetric membranes were prepared. In order to control their structure and mechanical properties the degree of cross-linking and the composition of casting solution were varied. The rubber added PS-DVB membranes was also prepared to overcome the mechanical limitation of cross-linked membrane, and their mechanical properties were investigated. It was revealed that the concentration of polymer in the casting solution affected the determination of skin formation. When the PS-co-DVB membrane consists of styrene-butadiene (SB) rubber or liquid polybutadiene (PBD), the structures formed showed that the PS content in the PS/DVB system played an important role in determining the porous sublayer structure.

        Speed Sensorless Vector Control for AC servo Motor Using Flux observer

        This study describes the scheme of vector drive system without speed sensor for AC servo motor using theory of a flux observer and based on the field oriented vector control. The new method of speed estimation is presented from operate with the position and magnitude of the secondary flux which obtain from the voltage reference and detected current. As the estimated speed is settled by the flux and the machine-specific parameters. this method don't need to adjust the gain of the parameter. Based on the derived theory for vector control. the scheme for sensorless vector drive of AC servo motor is designed and realized. And the experiment verifies it passable to realize the sensorless vector drive based on a field-oriented type.

        Characterization of a Novel Monoclonal Antibody (27H2) Recognizing Human CD34 Class III Epitope

        Background: Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) recognizing Class III epitope of CD34 are essential for flow cytometric diagnosis of leukemia. Methods: 27H2 mAb was developed from a mouse alternatively immunized with human acute leukemia cell lines, KG1 and Molm-1. Using flow cytometric analysis of various leukemic cell lines and peripheral blood, immunohistochemical study of frozen tonsil, we characterized 27H2 mAb. Antigen immunoprecipitated with 27H2 mAb immunobloted with anti-CD34 mAb. A case of bone marrow sample of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patient was obtained at CBNU Hospital. For epitope identification enzyme treatment with neuraminidase and O-sialoglycoprotein endopeptidase (OSGE) and blocking assay with known classIII mAb (HPCA-2) were done. Results: Only KG1 and Molm-1 revealed positive immunoreactivity. Immunohistochemical staining disclosed strong membranous immunoreactivity on high endothelial venules. Antigen immunoprecipitated by 27H2 mAb showed approximately 100 kDa sized band immunoblotted with anti-CD34 under non-reducing conditions. Epitope recognized by 27H2 mAb disclosed resistancy to both neuraminidase and OSGE treatment and completely blocked with known class III mAb preincubation. CD34 positive leukemic cells in BM of pre B cell ALL patient detected by FITC-conjugated 27H2 and HPCA-2 were identified with similar sensitivity. Conclusion: A novel murine mAb recognizing class III epitope of human CD34 with high affinity, which is useful for flow cytometric diagnosis of leukemia, was developed.

        서울특별시 산업구조 변화와 미래전략

        본 연구는 서울시 산업 패러다임의 변화와 해외 도시재생의 사례를 통해 서울시 산업정책의 방향성을 도출하고, 그에 대한 관련 산업체의 대응에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구의 대상은 지난 15년간 서울시 산업의 업종별 변화와 현재의 자치구별 분포 그리고, 지역별 집적된 산업의 동향을 주요 분석대상으로 한다. 또한, 근대 도시재생의 대표적인 사례인 런던의 도클랜드 도시재생 사업의 사례 등을 분석한다. 서울시의 산업은 1·2차 산업에서 빠르게 첨단 및 창조산업으로 변하고 있고, 산업체들은 특정 지역을 중심으로 특정 업종별로 집적하고 있다. 이들은 서울시의 정책에 대한 의존도가 매우 높으며, 영세한 규모의 업체가 대부분이다. 이들을 위한 서울시의 정책이 존재하나 일부 정책의 현실적인 개선이 요구되고 있다. 또한, 이러한 기업들은 자체적인 경쟁우위 획득을 위해 서울시의 정책지원 및 인센티브 뿐 아니라, 연관 사업 및 클러스터에의 적극적 참여를 통해 기업간 시너지를 창출하고, 영세업체의 구조적 한계를 극복하여야 하겠다. This Study is about the direction of industrial policy in Seoul through the change of industrial paradigm in Seoul and the case of overseas urban regeneration. This study focuses on the changes of industries in Seoul over the past 15 years, the current distribution of autonomous regions, and the trends of integrated industries in the region. It also analyzes the case of the city’s reconstruction of the city of Docklands, a representative example of modern urban regeneration. The industry in Seoul is rapidly shifting from primary and secondary industries to high-tech and creative industries, and industries are concentrated in specific industries, focusing on specific regions. They are highly dependent on Seoul’s policies and most of them are small-sized. There is a policy for the Seoul Metropolitan Government, but there is a need for realistic improvement of some policies. In addition, these companies should create not only policy support and incentives but also active participation in related businesses and clusters to create synergy among companies and overcome the structural limitations of small businesses in order to gain their own competitive advantages.
