영동지방의 주요 3개 하천의 수질을 조사하고 QUAL-2E 모델을 적용하여 보았다. 강릉남대천은 각 수질항목에서 시기별, 정점별로 큰 차이를 보였으며, 일반적으로 상류의 수질은 하류로 갈수록 생활오수의 유입으로 수질이 악화되는 전형적인 양상을 나타내었다. 양양남대천은 강릉남대천 및 삼척오십천에 비하여 시기별 변이폭이 좁았으며 각 정점별의 수질도 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 삼척오십천은 시기별보다는 정점별 수질차이가 크게 나타났으며 오염된 상류의 수질이 자정작용에 의하여 개선되다가 다시 생활오수의 유입으로 인하여 악화되는 특이한 양상을 보였다. 모델링 결과 하천의 유속, 유량등의 실측 자료가 부족함에도 불구하고 강릉남대천과 양양남대천은 실측치와 예상치가 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 또한 이 모델을 사용하여 강릉남대천의 수질예측을 시도하였다. The water quality was monitored and QUAL-2E modelling was applied in three main stream of Youngdong area. Kangnung Namdaecheon was shown to be a typical stream that the downstream water quality was worse than in the upperstream. Water quality of Yangyang Namdaecheon was better than that of Kangnung Namdaecheon and Samchuk Osipcheon. The spatial variation of water quality was greater than the temporal variation in Samchuk Osipcheon: the polluted upperstream water got better in the midstream, but got worse gain in the downstream. Despite of the lack of suitable measurement data, Kangnung Namdaecheon and Ynagyang Namdaecheon showed good relationship between measured and obtained data: however Samchuk Osipcheon, which had many point sources and much pollution load, showed poor relationship. Based on this model, future water quality of Kangnung Namdaecheon was prospected.
강릉수력발전소의 발전수 방류가 강릉남대천의 수질에 미치는 영향

강릉수력발전소의 발전수 방류가 강릉 남대천의 수질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 1988년 5월 (방류전) 및 1991년 5월 (방류후)의 두번에 걸쳐 7개 정점에서 하천수를 채취하고 수온, 수소이온농도, 용존산소량, 생물화학적산소요구량, 화학적 산소요구량, 질산태 질소, 아질산태 질소, 암모니아태 질소 및 무기인산의 농도를 측정하였다. 또 발전수 방류 전후의 각 정점간의 유사도를 알아보고자 집괴분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과 정점 3상류지역의 강릉수력발전소 방류는 수질에 상당한 영향을 끼쳐 정점 3 및 정점 4의 수질은 악화되고 정점 5, 정점 6 및 정점 7의 수질은 개선되었으며, 수질측면에서 강릉수력발전소 발전수 방류 상류지역(정점 1 및 정점 2)과 강릉수력발전소 발전수 방류 하류지역(정점 3∼정점 7)으로 집괴가 뚜렷히 구별됨을 알 수 있었다. To elucidate the effect of water outflow Kangnung Hydropower Plant on the water quality of Namdaecheon Stream, Kangnung, water temperature, DO, BOD, COD, NO₃-N, NO₂-N, NH₄-N and PO₄-P of the water samples of May, 1988 (before the outflow) and May, 1991 (after the outflow) from seven stations were analyzed. Cluster analysis was also applied for the grouping of seven stations before and after the outflow. The water outflow above station 3 affected the water quality significantly; the water quality of station 3 and station 4 took a turn for the worse, however that of station 5, station 6 and station 7 changed for the better. The seven stations were clearly clustured into 2 groups on the water quality basis, upstream (station 1 and station 2) and downstream (station 3∼station 7).

Through this study, the rapid increase trend in the silver population and their increase in alcohol misuse was briefly identified, and as the recent trends of the cure to alcohol dependence of the elderly, the psychosocial treatments such as brief intervention, family intervention, cognitive-behavioral approach, motivational enhancement therapy and age-specific treatment have been discussed. In addition, the latest researches on medications for alcohol withdrawal symptom and maintenance of quitting drinking, focused on medical treatments, have been briefly introduced.

다성분 농도상관행렬로부터 상관수를 구하여 횡계 송천수계의 수질상관을 알아보고자 하였다. 도암중앞의 수질에 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 지류는 재건교 지류였으며 저수지 입구의 수질은 용평입구의 지류에 큰 영향을 받고있다. The correlation of water quality in the Songcheon Stream, Hoeng-gye was investigated by correlation number derived from multi-component correlation matrix. Doam middle school station was most highly affected by Jaegeon bridge station, and Mouth of reservoir station was more affected by Yongpyung resort entrance station.

核然料에 關한 硏究 : α-UO_3의 構造的 特性 Structural Characteristics of α-UO_3

α-UO_3 have been prepared from uranyl acetate solution by the thermal decomposition method. The materials structure were examined by surface morpholgy, X-ray diffraction and optical density spectrum. The results showed that α-UO_3 exists two different crystalline forms depending on the temperature of precipitation ; hexagonl α-UO_3 at 350℃ and orthorhombic α-UO_3 at 600℃.

강릉남대천의 BOD를 1990년 4월부터 1993년 12월까지 모니터하였다. 강릉수력발전소의 발전수 방류 결과, 방수구와 홍제보의 BOD는 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, 하구의 BOD는 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 회귀분석에의하면 방수구와 홍제보의 매월 BOD 증가율은 공히 0.031mg/l이었으며, 하구에서의 매월 BOD 감소율은 0.071mg/l였다. The BODs of Namdaecheon Stream, Kangnung were monitored from April, 1990 to December, 1993. BODs at water outlet and Hongjebo were gradually increased, while BOD at estuary was decreased due to water discharged from Kangnung hydropower plant. The increasing rates in BOD at water outlet and Hongjebo were both 0.031mg/l month and the decreasing rate at esturary was 0.071mg/l month by linear regression analysis.

Trauma is one of the most common causes of death. Recently, injury severity score(ISS) is widely used to evaluate and classify the patients with multiple injury. Trauma score(TS) was developed as a means of providing rapid accurate assessment of the injured patient. Authors conducted a review of trauma patients who visited the emergency department of YongDong Severance Hospital from September 1992 to August 1993. ISS and TS were collected from comprehensive initial evaluation. The results were as follows : 1) The subjects were 10.2%(2,666 patients) of total 26,202 emergency patients. 2) Male to female ratio was 2.1 : 1. The age distribution was highest under 10 year(24.9%). The mean ISS was 3.5, and the mean ISS increased with ago. 3. Analysis of injury mechanism showed high incidence of traffic accident(35.3%), blunt trauma 25.7%, fall 24.2%, stabbing 10.7%, and others 4.3% in order. 4. The 8.0% of patients were admitted after initial management and their mean Iss was 12.6 mean TS was 15.5. 5. Among admitted traffic accident patients, the mean ISS of passenger T.A., pedestrian T.A. and driver T.A. were 19.0 ±9.9, 14.4 ±10.6, and 11.3 ±7.7 respectively. 6. Among 42 mortality cases, 25 patients were D.O.A. and 17 were expired. The mean ISS of D.O.A. Patients was 30.0; the mean Iss and mean Iss and mean TS of expired patients were 28.3 and 11.8 respectively. 7. The most common cause of death was head trauma(66.7%). 8. By comparing the ISS and TS of admitted and expired patients, mortality occurred above 16 point of ISS. The mortality increased with increasing ISS, but it was influenced by the trauma site and the severity of the particular injury site. Mortality also occurred below 15 point of TS, the mortality increased inversely with TS, and the mortality with TS, and the mortality was high below 13 point (above 40%).
산업장 소음에 노출된 근로자들의 활동 중 혈압과 심박동수

목적 : 산업장 근무 근로자들에 있어서 소음 노출이 혈압과 심박동수에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자 하였다. 방법 : 부산시 소재 한 주물공장 근무 근로자로서 소음 작업장에 근무하는 102명에 대하여 1998년 3-6월, 1999년 3-6월에 걸쳐 안정시 혈압과 청력손실정도, 일반적 특성이 조사되었다. 소음노출 정도는 noise dosimeter를 사용하여 오전 8시-오후 4시까지 8시간동안 측정하여 평가하였고, 활동 중 혈압과 심박동수는 ambulatory blood pressure로 오전 8 시-오후 10시까지 30분 단위로 측정하였다. 결과 : 연령과 흡연, 신체비만지수의 영향을 고려하였을 때 저연령층에서 85dBA이상의 고소음에 노출된 군에서 소음과 수축기 혈압간에는 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었으나, 이완기 혈압과 심박등수에서는 유의한 결과를 얻지 못하였다. 연령의 구분없이 상관관계를 구하였을 때에는 수축기 혈압에서만 소음수준과 유의한 상관성이 있었다. 오전 8시-오후 10시까지 측정한 활동 중 혈압과 심박동수의 일일 변화는 40세미만의 저연령층에서는 심박동수에서만 근무후의 오후시간부터 감소하는 양상이 있었고 수축기 혈압과 이완기 혈압에서는 뚜렷한 변화를 발견할 수 없었다. 40세이상군에서는 수축기혈압과 이완기 혈압, 심박동수 모두 근무 중에는 비교적 높은 값을 유지하다가 오후부터는 감소하는 추세를 보이고 있었다. 각 연령군별 소음노출수준에 따른 활동 중 혈압과 심박동수의 비교에서는 40세미만의 연령층에서만 85dBA이상의 고소음군에서 심박동수가 유의하게 더 높은 결과를 얻었다. 결론 : 저연령층인 40세피만에서 85dBA이상의 고소음에 지속적으로 노출될 경우 수축기 혈압이 증가되어 있을 수 있음을 확인하였다. Objectives : This study was carriel out to evaluate the effects of Industrial noise on blood pressure and heart rate. Methods Resting blood pressure, hearing loss, and general characteristics of the 102 subjects who were engaged In a factory in Pusan were measured from March to June for two years, in 1998 and 1999. With noise dosimeter, noise exposure level was measured from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. Ambulatory blood pressure and heart rate were also measured every 30 minutes from 8 A. M. to 10 p. M. Results : Controlling for age, smoking, and Quetelet's index, in subjects of under 40 years old exposed to higher than 85dBA, noise exposure and systolic blood pressure had astatistically significant correlation, and the same result was obtained in all subjects. The daily variability of ambulatory blood pressure and heart rate were observed in older than 40 years old group, but only heal·t rate in under 40 years old. Conclusions : The blood pressure and heart 1·ate would be elevated when the workers exposed to noise. And in under 40 years old, the systolic blood pressure was elevated to the workers exposed to higher than 85dBA.
