        This research to streets at Daegu, and view adjective how people react when draw a bird into interior in city utilize and examine becoming direction of street trees system. Findings on survey, citizens appear by average 2.87 in management degree of street trees and average 2.76 in various of species of trees, discontent thing more or less by average 2.91 in satisfaction of the beauty, and demonstrate high shame from satisfaction for season stuff to comparative high 3.24, generally, citizens appear by there are parts to improve by do dissatisfaction about street trees system at Daegu. Also, street trees 2 lines plantings for a bird is average 3.05, shows affirmative feedback about that shrub utilization for a bird see high numerical value by average 3.4 and people draw a bird to space of city. Therefore, construct street trees friendly to the nature and be considered to need to re-establish set street trees environment in citizens preference to recover city ecosystem. As result that examine reaction which treat in street trees planting programs to draw birds into city through view adjective, Likert scales about 2 lines plantings of street trees and additional planting of shrub show affirmative feedback by average 3.4 both ordinary people and specialist group, if people want to draw birds into city by various of method, various research should be accomplished.

        동일한 시료에 대한 국내 기관간의 STR 분석결과 비교 : STR 유전자좌 분석법의 표준화 설정을 위하여

        This paper described a collaborative exercise intended to see what kinds of short tandem repeat (STR) loci are used in different DNA typing laboratories in Korea and to compare their results for the demonstration whether uniformity of DNA profiling results from different laboratory could be achieved in Korea Laboratories were asked to test five tissue DNAs using methods routinely used in each laboratory and to report the results to the coordinating laboratory. The exercise demonstrated that each laboratory was using different STR loci for the typing with different STR numbers,2 VNTRS,36 STRs and amelogenin in total, and the direct comparison of the results from all the laboratory for the 18 loci could not be done as only one laboratory submitted typing results. Among 21 loci for which several laboratories submitted typing results, results for 14 loci were the same and results for the other 7 loci were different depending on the participating laboratory. D1S80, F13A01, D16S539, D21S11, D18S51, D3S1744 were the loci with different typing results. Even in the cases where commercial kits were used, the results were not the same depending on the machines used, that is the capillary electrophoresis or the gel based electrophoresis. The reason for the different results, points about the standardization of the methods arid the profiling data were described.

        Sol-Gel 법에 의한 SnO_2의 물성 및 센싱 특성

        초기 물질은 SnCl_2 · 2H_2O와 C_2H_5OH를 사용하여 sol-gel 법으로 제조된 SnO_2 미세 분말의 제반 물성과 전기적 센싱 특성에 대하여 검토하였다. Gel 분말은 sol을 72시간과 168시간 숙성(aging) 시킨 후 120℃에서 건조하여 제조하였다. 600 ℃ 이하에서는 휘발성 물질이 제거되면서 SnO_2 상이 증가하고, 700℃/30min 열처리로 SnO_2 상 생성은 거의 완결된다. 입자 크기는700℃ 이하에서 30nm 이하로 유사하고 입도 분포도 좁았다. 전기적 성질 측정을 위한 시편은 후막법으로 알루미나 기판위에 제조하였다. 공기 중의 전도성은 450℃ 부터 반도성 세라믹스의 진성(intrinsic) 거동을 보이고, 200-450℃ 구간에서는 SnO_2 입자 표면에서의 산소흡착에 기인해서 전도성 변화가 작았다. 환원성 CO 기체에 대한 응답성, 회복성 그리고 감도 특성은 숙성일자 증가로 향상되었다. Fine particles of SnO_2 were fabricated by the sol-gel powder processing using tin(Ⅱ) chloride dihydrate(SnCl_2 · 2H_2O) and ethanol(C_2H_5OH) as raw materials. The powders were investigated about the properties and electrical sensing. Gel powders were fabricated by drying of sol at 120℃ after aging 72hrs and 169hrs. The amount of SnO_2 phase was increased below 600℃ due to the elimination of volatile components, and the SnO_2 phase was almost completed by the heat treatment at 700℃ for 30min. The grain sizes were about 30nm below 700℃, and it showed the narrow distribution of the grain sizes. The specimens to measure electrical properties were fabricated by the thick film screen printing technique on the alumina substrates. The conductance of SnO_2 was showed the intrinsic behavior of semiconducting ceramics above at 450℃. The constant conductance was observed in the temperature range of 200~450℃. The sensing properties of response time, recovery, and sensitivity of CO were improved with aging time.

        SnO_2-ZnO 계 후막센서 구조에 따른 CO 감지 특성

        CO 기체 감지 특성을 향상시키기 위해서 3 mol% ZnO를 첨가한 SnO_2와 3mol% SnO_2를 첨가한 ZnO의 적층 형태를 변화시켜 연구하였다. 적층 구조는 단일층, 복층, 그리고 이종층 구조로 후막 인쇄법을 사용하여 제작하였다. SnO_2-ZnO계에서 제 2상은 발견되지 않았다. 전도성은 SnO_2에 ZnO를 첨가하면 감소하고, ZnO에 SnO_2를 첨가하면 증가하였다. 측정 온도증가와 CO 기체 유입으로 전도성은 증가하였다. 단층 및 복층의 후막센서 구조의 감도 향상은 없었으나, SnO_2 -3ZnO-ZnO · 3SnO_2·substrate 구조의 이종층 센서의 감도는 향상되었다. 센서 구조에 관계없이 I-V 변화는 모두 직선성을 나타내서 Ohmic 접합 특성을 이루고 있었다. The sensing properties of carbon monooxide were investigated as a function of mixing ratio and the lamination structure of 3mol% ZnO-doped SnO_2 and 3mol% SnO_2-doped ZnO. The lamination structures were fabricared monolayer, double layer, and hetero layer of SnO_2, ZnO, and theirs mixture composition using thick film process. There was no second phase by the reaction of SnO_2 and ZnO. The conductance was decreased by the addition of ZnO in SnO_2, but it was increased with the addition of SnO_2 in ZnO. The conductance was increased with temperature and the inlet of CO. There was no improvement of sensitivity in the structure of mono- and double-layer. The hetero-layer structure, however, of SnO_2 · 3ZnO-ZnO · 3SnO_2 showed the higher resistivity and the highest sensitivity. Ohmic characteristics was confirmed by the linear properties for I-V measurements.

      • 알코올 금단 발작 환자에서 진전 섬망 예방에 대한 Nimodipine과 Chlordiazepoxide의 효과 비교

        Background & objectives : An increase of calcium influx during alcohol withdrawal state may contribute to neuronal hyperexitability, which cause delirium tremens(DT). Some investigators have found calcium channel blockers effects in prevention of DT in experimental animals. Therefore we evaluated the preventive effects of calcium channel blocker(nimodipine) and benzodiazepine(chlordiazepoxide) on the development of DT in alcohol withdrawal seizure(AWS) patients. Method : A total 59 patients with AWS were divided into three groups according to the management nimodipine-treated, chlordiazepoxide-treated, and control(no specific medication) groups. We compared the incidence rates of DT in the three groups. Results : Total incidence rate of DT was 30.5%(18 of 59 patients). There were 6 DTs of 18 patients(33.5%) in nimodipine-treated group, 4 of 21 patients(22.5%) in chlordiazpoxide-treated group, and 8 of 20 patients(44.0%) in control. Conclusion : The control group(44.0%) showed the highest incidence rate of DT. And nimodipine-treated(33.5%) and chlordiazepoxide-treated group(22.5%) were followed. However, this result failed to demonstrated statistically significant differences due to small numbers size.

      • 대구지역 지하철 건설계획에 따른 전기시스템 연구

        The Taegu City Authority has set up their master plan to adopt a city subway system since middle 1989 and a feasibility study was already submitted by Institute of Traffic Development in March 1990 and a fundamental planning contract was placed to Samwoo Engineering Co., Ltd. In compliance with this proceedure, the autors have surveyed the existing subway systems, bearing in mind to figure out which kind of system could be suitable to city Taegu. Initially, the subway systems, operating in Korea, were analyzed and the conclusion was approached that the existing subway system in Seoul and Pusan is not suitable to adopt to Taegu but a Light Traffic Vehicle system is efficient to adopt to the city.

        Morphological and biochemical differences in three Undaria pinnatifida populations in Korea

        Twelve morphological characters and the biochemical composition of Undaria pinnatifida f. distans sporophytes growing on the rocky shores of Jindo and Wando and on cultivation ropes in Kijang were measured to determine whether each population could be characterized by morphological features and biochemical composition. The goal of this study was to compare phenotypic variations between populations as they relate to environmental conditions. The sporophytes of the Kijang population were two times longer and 19 times heavier than those at Jindo. Sporophylls of the Jindo U. pinnatifida population were significantly smaller in length, width, frill number, and weight than those at Wando and Kijang. Kijang Undaria plants showed the highest contents of total protein, crude fiber, total amino acids, the amount of essential amino acids, the proportion of total unsaturated fatty acids, and eicosapentaenoic acid. However, the Jindo population showed the greatest content of carbohydrates, lipids, and minerals (Zn and Ca) of the three U. pinnatifida populations. In particular, Zn content of Jindo plants was 30 times greater than that of Kijang plants. Thus, the proximate composition, mineral composition, amino acids, and fatty acids of Undaria pinnatifida plants were distinguishable among the three representative Undaria populations evaluated. These results suggest that morphological and biochemical differences of the three U. pinnatifida populations can be attributed to differences in environmental conditions of their habitats.

        A 84-year-old man presented with chronic cough lasted for a year. Posterior-anterior upright methods of chest roentgenography showed multiple metastatic lung nodules in both lung field. And bronchoscopy showed masses in the accessory bronchus in right distal trachea side and anterior basal trunk in right lower lobe. Therefore, he was underwent histological examination for each lesion. The results of histology had been reported in the necrotic tissue and aspergillosis, respectively. However, we thought it’s a result of the contamination, he was underwent further evaluation. A percutaneous needle biopsy revealed poorly differentiated carcinoma of unknown origin. In PET-CT and brain MRI, we found a single cerebellar metastatic lesion and multiple metastatic muscle lesions. Strangely, SUV values of lung nodules were not high but there was increased uptake in paraesophageal area in the PET-CT. Additional duodenoscopic examination proved no abnormality. In order to find the origin site of cancer, we conducted additional immunohistochemial studies, and as a result, p63 and CK5/6 were positive, TTF-1 and napsin-A were negative, respectively. At last, we definitely diagnosed as squamous lung cancer and he had underwent chemotherapy. We experienced a case discovered in multiple metastatic lung nodules that is different from the characteristics of universal squamous lung cancer of central invasion. So we would like to discuss differential diagnosis from metastatic cancer and sarcoidosis which can have similar image finding.
