        이탈리아 최초의 태국학 연구자 제리니

        This paper analyzes the activities of Gerolamo Emilio Gerini (1850-1913), who was among the first generation of Italian immigrants to move to Thailand at the end of the 19th century. Scholarly attention on Gerini’s activities has largely been limited to his military and political achievements: Gerini is known for being a trusty associate of King Chulalongkorn, and his contributions to the modernization of Siam’s military earned him a coveted place in “The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant.” However, during his 25 years in Siam, Gerini also traveled extensively around Siam and to neighboring countries, collecting 3,000 ancient documents for research and analysis. Further, he is also regarded as the first scholar to introduce Siam and the Thai academic community to modern archiving methods at the end of the 19th century. Gerini also founded the “Siam Society” in 1904, which was charged with studying and promoting knowledge about Siam, its history, and culture. Even after returning to Italy in 1906, Gerini continued to study the culture and language of Siam and disseminate his research to Italian academia. He accompanied during King Chulalongkorn's second visit to Europe and was responsible for arranging the exhibition of the Thai Pavilion at the 1911 Turin International Exposition. Drawing on his research and academic achievements, this thesis examines whether it is possible to identify Gerini as “the first Thai scholar in Italy.”

        Sesquiterpene Components from the Flower Buds of Magnolia fargesii

        From the Chinese crude drug shin-i, the flower buds of Magnolia fargesii, four sesquiterpene, oplopanoe (1), oplodiol (2), homalomenol A (3) and $1{\beta},4{\beta},7{\alpha}$-trihydroxyeudesmane (4) were isolated. These structures were elucidated and the ${13}^C-NMR$ chemical shifts of these compounds were revised by means of various 2D-NMR techniques.

        In order to study the fatigue properties of welded materials, the structual steel plates were welded by submarged are welding and annealed at 600, 700 and 900℃ for releasing of residual stresses. The obtained results are summarized as follows; 1. The fatigue limit of welded steel annealed at 800℃ had shown the largest value among those of the other temperatures. 2. The endurance ratio of thewelded steel which was stress-relieved at 800℃ had the highest value. 3. The fatigue crack propagation rate of welded steel annealed at 800℃ was slower than those annealed at the other temperatures.

        Creating Video Highlights provide the important role to the multimedia contents producers and multimedia users that want to create a shorter highlight video scene. This paper propose the new method of creating highlights and the content based video indexing, This indexing, exactly speaking, is event-based video indexing. We deal with soccer, basket ball, and handball that have the events of scoring a goal. The event rule was used to detect the highlight shot about scoring a goal. In video indexing, both of the virtual informations and the captionts are analyzed to create the sports video highlights.

      • 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용한 보안정책서버의 경보데이터 분석

        최근 네트워크 구성이 복잡해짐에 따라 정책기반의 네트워크 관리기술에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, 특히 네트워크 보안관리를 위한 새로운 패러다임으로 정책기반의 네트워크 관리 기술이 도입되고 있다. 보안정책 서버는 새로운 정책을 입력하거나 기존의 정책을 수정, 삭제하는 기능과 보안정책 결정 요구 발생시 정책결정을 수행하여야 하는데 이를 위해서는 보안정책 실행시스템에서 보내온 경보 메시지에 대한 분석 및 관리가 필요하다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 정책기반 네트워크 보안관리 프레임워크의 구조 중에서 보안정책 서버의 효율적인 보안정책 수립 및 수행을 지원하기 위한 경보데이터 관리기를 설계하고 구현한다. 그리고 경보 데이터 저장과 분석을 위해서 데이터베이스 스키마를 설계하고 저장된 경보데이터를 분석하는 모듈을 구현한다. 또한 데이터 마이닝 기법을 적용하여 경보 관리기나 고수준 분석기가 효율적으로 경보데이터를 분석하고 능동적인 보안정책관리를 지원할 수 있도록 한다. Recently, a number of network systems are developed rapidly and network architectures are more complex than before, and a policy-based network management should be used in network system. Especially, a new paradigm that policy-based network management can be applied for the network security is raised. Architecture of the policy-based network management has hierarchical structure that consists of management layer and enforcement layer. A security policy server in the management layer can generate new policy, delete, update the existing policy and decide the policy when security policy is requested. The server needs some information to perform these faculties. The security server needs to analyze and manage the alert message received from server policy enforcement system in the enforcement layer for the available information. In this paper, we not only design database schema to store the alert data and the alert analyzer to support the proceeding and making of security policy efficiently in framework of the policy-based network security management, but also implement an alert analyzer that analyze the stored alert data. We also propose a data mining system for the analysis of alert data. It is a helpful system to manage the fault users or hosts. The implemented mining system supports alert analyzer and the high level analyzer efficiently for the security policy management.

      • 생애주기 비용을 고려한 교량의 경제수명추정

        From the systems engineering point of view, a good structural system should satisfy the required performance with the minimum cost. Among various factors which can affect the total cost required for the system, the economic life, i.e. the time span in which the system will be used, is one of the most important factors. In this paper, we propose a methodology to determine the economic life of a bridge considering minimization of the life cycle cost of the bridge. To determine the economic life span of the bridge, we should estimate the life cycle cost more realistically. First of all, we propose an estimation method for the life cycle cost of a bridge which consists of the initial construction cost, the operation and maintenance cost, the disaster risk cost, the user cost, and the disposal cost, and hence we can estimate the life cycle cost more realistically. Base on the estimated costs and the concept of the time value of money, we propose a methodology for determining the economic life. However, it is difficult to use the proposed methodology manually, therefore, we also propose a framework for a decision support system which can help the decision maker by using information technology. We expect that the proposed estimation method and the decision support system framework can be used as a useful tool for initial planning of structural systems, especially bridges.

        In this study, we define the appropriate classification of information and telecommunication industry, including telecommunications equipment and service industry in order to provide the concerned governmental institutions with data useful for establishing industry promoting policy. And on the basis of this classification, we analyse traits and structure of the recent market, and also perform trends-analysis and market-forecast using data which have been fielded in our DB system since 1984. First, we classify telecommunications industries into telecommunications equipment industry, information equipment industry, S/W industry, telecommunications component manufacturing industry, and telecommunications service industry. And then, we classify telecommunications equipment industry and telecommunications service industry into more details; respectively, wire communication equipment / wireless communication equipment, computer equipment / peripheral equipment, system software / application software, active component / passive component / service / other telecommunications service industry. The characteristics of the recent industry are as follows; 1. in the economic-industrial aspect, role enlargement of information and telecommunications industry. 2. in the aspect of technology environment, rapid development of technology and technology commercialization. 3. in the market structure aspect, expansion of Regionalism.

      • 고등학생의 여가활동 참가가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study would likt to find out reached influence of school life adaptation for senior high school students'leisure activity participation. And I established to attain aim of research such like research subject. First, difference of type for leisure activity about area-sexual distinction·monthly income·pocket money, second, difference of school life adaptation about area·sexual sistinction·monthly income·pocket money, third, reached influence of school life adaptation for leisure activity participation extent, fourth, I established to attain the subject for research that would like to find out relation leisure activity type and school life adaptation. I set up seniou high school make and female students of Kangwon Do Yeongseo area with a population for this research Moreover, the selected group was drawn samples each 2 schools second grade 150 students of C·H area malefemale with stratified cluster random sampling . I used questionnaire totally 496 students for material analysis. I used questionnaire that was made recomposition with proper research. I also used measuring implement that used it - P.E. activity participation of Juvenile and questionnaire for adaptation of school life> (Park Jeong Hyeon 1999) <Survey of type for leisure activity> (Ministry of Culture P.E. 1995). Reliance data of questionnaire for school life adaptation used 'Cronbach'α, the coefficient for reliance data was mentioned 6812_6935. Statistics methods - which were used this research are χ^(2)-test, t-test, one-ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, two-way ANOVA etc. First, when I analyzed difference of type for leisure activity by area·sexual distinction·monthly income·pocket money, I found that it doesn't have any gap by it besides sexual distinction made difference between sports activity for male students and viewing appreciation for female students. Second, differences of adaptation for school life by area·sexual distinction·monthly income·pocket money made several situations. For instance, areamonthly income made difference teacher's relation·friends relation·classes in school, sexual sistinction made it friends relation·school class, and pocket money made it school rules. Third, reached influence of school life adaptation for leisure activity participating extent showed that participating period affected friends relation, participating frequency did teacher's relation, and participating strength did school classes. Fourth, difference leisure activity type and school life adaptation showed that student who did activity for hobbygeneral education made significant difference.

        In order to use as a starter after drying, optimum growth conditions of Str. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus were investigated. The results were as follows. The growth of Str. thermophilus was reached at stationary phase after 12 hours incubation and L. bulgaricus was after 6 hours. Str. thermophilus was grown well, in the medium containing 10% of skim milk, 2%5 of sucrose, 0.1% of KCl and 0.015%(v./v.) of soy-sauce. In the case of L. bulgaricus, 10% of skim milk, 2% of glucose, 0.5% of bacto-peptone, 0.1% of K₂HPO₄ and 0.02% of pyridoxine was suitable for the maximum growth.
