This paper is intended to study 〈Jumong Myth〉 which's written by many writers newly. It seems to me that there are characters which are represented images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 in their works. First of all, it seems that they showed aspects of Jumong or Yoohwa as the Hero of the founder or the Hero's supporter of wisdom in their poems 『Dongmaeng』 and 『The Four Pillars and Eight Characters of Go, Ju-mong as the founder of Goguryeo Dongmyeongsungwang』by Seo, Jeong-ju, 『Lady Yoohwa』by Song Su-kwon and 『The sky of Jumong』 by Yoon Keum-cho. Only Seo‘s characters are expressed a destiny and a right but Song and Yoon's are represented the Hero itself in the narrative process through agony of realities. The secondly, it seems that Lee, Kwang-su showed aspects of Jumong as a so n?a husband?a father through the life of the Hero in his work 『Dongmyeongwang of love』. And Song Ha-chun showed aspects of Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 through a woman as a unusual birth of process and preservation of life in his work 『Daughters of Haback』. In conclusion, it seems that their works either poems or novels are represented and recreated various images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉.

Protective Effect of Curcumin and Aqueous Extract of Onchengyeum on CCl_(4)-induced Hepatotoxicity

An aqueous extract of oriental herbal composition named Onchengyeum and curcumin, an antioxidant isolated from turmeric (Curcuma longa Linné) reduced hepatotoxicity induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4)). Improved liver function was observed by measuring the activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CRE), total cholesterol (TCHO), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-CHO), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-CHO), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB) and total bilirubin (BIL) in serum. Hepatic parameters monitored were levels of cholesterol (CHO), triglyceride (TG), malondialdehyde (MDA) and content of cytochrome P450 (CYP), level of glutathione (GSH), activities of NADPH-CYP reductase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione S-transferase (GST), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione peroxidase (GPx). The histopathological examination showed that the treatment of Onchengyeum and curcumin relieved the ballooning degeneration of hepatocytes which had been generated by CCl_(4). The results suggested that hepatoprotective effects of Onchengyeum and curcumin possibly are due to their promising antioxidative activity.

Iridology, developed more than 100 years ago, is the diagnosis of medical conditions through noting irregularities of the pigmentation in the iris The purpose of this study is to compare interrelation between CVA, hypertension family history and cardio-renal connective tissue in Iris Constitution through iris constitution examination. The subjects consist of 114 patients who were examined in Iris Constitution at Chonju Oriental Medicine Hospital attached to Wonkwang Univ. from September. 1St. 2000 to August. 31th. 2002. 1. In the distribution of Iris Constitution, among of 79cases, There are neurogenic type 13cases, abdominal connective tissue weakness constitution 31 cases, cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution 6 cases, cholesterol 7 cases and others 22 case in control group. 2. There are familial history of CVA and hypertention 32 cases, no familial history of CVA and hypertention1 3 cases, in 35cases of experimental group. These results imply that there is meaningfulness of interrelation between cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution and. CVA, hypertention.

소비자의 의복 쇼핑동기와 관여도에 따른 점포 선택기준과 점포에 대한 태도

This study is designed to identify the dimensions of clothing shopping motives and clothing involvements which influence consumers' store choice behaviors and to find out what variables have a direct influence on the attitudes of customers toward stores. The empirical research was made through the survey on 300 female and male shoppers who purchased clothing. The major results of this study are as follows : 1. The dimension of clothing shopping motives is composed of leisure-related shopping motive, products-related shopping motive, and economy-related shopping motive. And the dimension of clothing involvement consists of pleasure involvement factor, fashion involvement factor, and symbol involvement factor. 2. The dimension of the store choice criteria is composed of such five factors as promotion, products, prices/salespersons, service, and location. 3. There is a positive correlation of the products-related shopping factor and the leisure-related shopping motive only. And the store choice criteria have a positive correlation with all the factors of clothing involvement. 4. The high-shopping-motive group turns out to pay more importance to such factors as products and location than the low-shopping-motive group. 5. The variables which have influences on the attitudes of customers toward stores turn out to be such factors as fashion involvement, promotion in the store choice criteria, and gender.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the enhancement of managerial efficiency of public enterprises by examining the preconditions and performance evaluation of the divisionalized organization. Several preconditions such as decentralization, performance evaluation criteria, intra-company transfer price, and the rational allocation of overhead cost, etc., should be accomplished for the successful application of divisionalized organization to public enterprises. The efficient operation of performance evaluation can be accomplished by those such as the precedent establishment of managerial accounting system, the evaluation of quantitative and qualitative components, and the evaluation of benefits and costs within the authority of the director of divisionalized organization, etc. Finally the effective application of divisionalized organization to public enterprises depends upon the top manager's attitude, the managerial goal of public enterprises, human resourses, the size of public enterprises, and the timing of the application of divisionalized organization to public enterprises.

The anecdote is well-known in history that Brutus, killing Caesar, had a speech showdown with Antonius. This confrontation ended in a decisive victory for Antonius. Therein, Antonius successfully spoke with pathos, which means the appeal to others' sympathy; on the other hand, Brutus spoke with logos and ethos, including a false dilemma and hypocrisy. Brutus' failure in convincing his audience of his argumentation can be ascribed to his excessive dependence on logos. It follows with pertinent application of rhetoric (pathos, logos, and ethos) to modern advertising, that we can maximize the effects on introducing new merchandise to consumers. In this article, we will make an analysis of rhetorical factors that appear in advertising, and further take into consideration the rhetorical characteristics each piece of merchandise involves.

20세기 초 이탈리아의 실험예술 의상에 관한 연구

This study concentrates on the relationship between the early 20th century Italian artists and their works in the field of clothing design. They advocated the creation of art for lif? and introduced a new type of work of art which I will call 'experimental clothing far art'. The experimental clothing far art showed its dynamic characteristics in the fields of line and farm, color, pattern, and material. The Italian artists made simple and functionalistic dresses, using asymmetric, geometric cuts in patters making. They employed dynamic patterns in textile design and favored brilliant colors which they debunked as stodge and traditional. With regard to material, they used unusual materials such as metal, net, wire, and paper and inexpensive materials. The investigations of the visual expression of experimental clothing for art in Italy have led us to the internal expressions which are avant-garde, dynamic & speed, functionality & popularity, ephemeral & transformable, and warlike. As a result of the reflection of the times and the artists' will and roles the experimental clothing for art in Italy implicated contemporary clothing in the early twentieth century and it was only laboratory art that underwent various experiments in canvas but a model of efferts for the art of living, which was anti-traditional, It offered a new future and created a new environment.
