This paper is intended to study 〈Jumong Myth〉 which's written by many writers newly. It seems to me that there are characters which are represented images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 in their works. First of all, it seems that they showed aspects of Jumong or Yoohwa as the Hero of the founder or the Hero's supporter of wisdom in their poems 『Dongmaeng』 and 『The Four Pillars and Eight Characters of Go, Ju-mong as the founder of Goguryeo Dongmyeongsungwang』by Seo, Jeong-ju, 『Lady Yoohwa』by Song Su-kwon and 『The sky of Jumong』 by Yoon Keum-cho. Only Seo‘s characters are expressed a destiny and a right but Song and Yoon's are represented the Hero itself in the narrative process through agony of realities. The secondly, it seems that Lee, Kwang-su showed aspects of Jumong as a so n?a husband?a father through the life of the Hero in his work 『Dongmyeongwang of love』. And Song Ha-chun showed aspects of Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 through a woman as a unusual birth of process and preservation of life in his work 『Daughters of Haback』. In conclusion, it seems that their works either poems or novels are represented and recreated various images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉.

Protective Effect of Curcumin and Aqueous Extract of Onchengyeum on CCl_(4)-induced Hepatotoxicity

An aqueous extract of oriental herbal composition named Onchengyeum and curcumin, an antioxidant isolated from turmeric (Curcuma longa Linné) reduced hepatotoxicity induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4)). Improved liver function was observed by measuring the activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CRE), total cholesterol (TCHO), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-CHO), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-CHO), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB) and total bilirubin (BIL) in serum. Hepatic parameters monitored were levels of cholesterol (CHO), triglyceride (TG), malondialdehyde (MDA) and content of cytochrome P450 (CYP), level of glutathione (GSH), activities of NADPH-CYP reductase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione S-transferase (GST), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione peroxidase (GPx). The histopathological examination showed that the treatment of Onchengyeum and curcumin relieved the ballooning degeneration of hepatocytes which had been generated by CCl_(4). The results suggested that hepatoprotective effects of Onchengyeum and curcumin possibly are due to their promising antioxidative activity.

Iridology, developed more than 100 years ago, is the diagnosis of medical conditions through noting irregularities of the pigmentation in the iris The purpose of this study is to compare interrelation between CVA, hypertension family history and cardio-renal connective tissue in Iris Constitution through iris constitution examination. The subjects consist of 114 patients who were examined in Iris Constitution at Chonju Oriental Medicine Hospital attached to Wonkwang Univ. from September. 1St. 2000 to August. 31th. 2002. 1. In the distribution of Iris Constitution, among of 79cases, There are neurogenic type 13cases, abdominal connective tissue weakness constitution 31 cases, cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution 6 cases, cholesterol 7 cases and others 22 case in control group. 2. There are familial history of CVA and hypertention 32 cases, no familial history of CVA and hypertention1 3 cases, in 35cases of experimental group. These results imply that there is meaningfulness of interrelation between cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution and. CVA, hypertention.

東北亞地域에서의 婚姻 및 相續에 관한 問題

During latest 10 years, the political and social situation has been changing enormously in Northeast Asia, where there are South and North Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan and Russia and so on. In this area, their mutual connection and improvement is increasing, so I believe that this area will be the uniform community, especially in economic and legal relations, in the near future. In past time a little after World War II, it was very difficult to visit each other countries because of the different political situations in this area. Especially Korea was divided in South and North Korea, in capitalist society and communist society. And china was also divided in Communist China and Taiwan. So it was very difficult for South Korean people to visit North Korea and Communist China(now China) and for past some time, the Korean People in Japan had the difficulties to come back to South Korea. But nowadays, the situation has been changed, the chances to meet or to reunite the separated families are increasing. Thus the possibility to the problems of the bigamy or the claim for the inheritance right become open, and we have to prepare the ways to solve the problems. And I study about the bigamy and the claim for the inheritance which are going to be rising after the family reunion in this area. I think that we need the principles to settle that problems. In solving the problems, we have to (1) Under Humanism(人道主義), (2) Respect Mutual (相互尊重主義), (3) Revere the acquired Rights(旣得權 尊重主義), (4) According to the mutual expression of intention(意思表示 尊重原則), (5) Under the Rationalism, making the Procedures(節次的 合理主義). In the problem of the bigamy, we don’t have to apply the present Korean civil law and other counties’s present civil laws. Korea Civil Law Act Article 810 provides the prohibition of bigamy, saying like that "A person who has a spouse may not be allowed to enter into another marriage". And also, the Article 818 former paragraph provides the claim for annulment of bigamy, and that is "In the case of marriage in violation of the provisions of Article 810, a claim for annulment of the marriage to the court may be made by either party, their spouse, lineal ascendants or collateral blood relatives within the eighth degree of relationship, or a public prosecutor". Then thinking under the previous principles, these provisions are not proper to the bigamy in Northeast Asia because according to these provisions, one of two marriages has to be annulled and this settlement is not proper under humanism. So I think that we don’t have to select one of two marriages, and we have to approve all of them. And after that, we have to make the systems to mediate the problems and to give the property to the spouse who will be separated. And we have to make the law to solve the problems and to establish arbitration center to settle the disputes. And we also protect the inheritance right of the Korean people who live in North Korea and China for a long time. There are so many separated families in Northeast Asia and especially in South and North Korea. We are expecting Korean unification, so we have to prepare the several ways to get our integration. I think it is important to protect the inheritance right of North Korean people to get the integration. For solving these problems, we have to make the law and have to establish the Trust Agency which will be able to administrate the inheritance properties of them. In Northeast Asia, I think that we have to respect each other and cooperate each other. And we have to prepare the laws and legal systems to solve the bigamy and protect the inheritance right in this Northeast Asia, and also in North and South Korea.

노동시장에서의 정신장애인 근로실태와 임금차별에 관한 계량적 분석

본 연구는 정신장애인의 노동권 보장을 위해 사업주의 편견이 실제 정신장애인의 고용에 어떠한 효과를 나타내는지 분석하고자 하였다. 우리나라 노동시장에서 입직이후 정신장애인근로자가 다른 장애인들과 빅하여 어떠한 차별을 받는지 임금격차 분석을 통해 실증적으로 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이에 따라 정신장애인과 다른 장애유형 사이에서의 임금차별을 분석한 결과, 장애특성으로 인한 임금격차는 39.5%, 차별로 인한 임금격차는 60.5%로 분석되었다. 즉, 정신장애인들은 노동시장에서 장애인으로서의 차별 뿐 아니라' 정신장애'라는 특수성으로 인한 차별을 받고 있었다. 본 연구의 의의는 정신장애인에 대한 사업주의 편견이 실제 차별행동으로 나타나고 있다는 것을 입증한 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 국가 및 전문기관은 정신장애인의 경우 다른 장애유형과 다른 근로 및 취업에서의 특수성을 깨닫고 이들의 근로를 지원하는 다양한 서비스 개발에 힘써야 하며, 특히 사업주를 표적 집단으로 인식개선 사업을 통해 특히 정신장애라는 편견으로 인한 차별을 줄여나가야 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 실증적 분석을 통하여 정신장애인 근로지원에 있어 평등적 접근을 넘어선 적극적 우대조치의 필요성을 제기하였다. The main premise of this study is to analyze empirically the wage discrimination effect on people with psychiatric disabilities in the labour market. The data in this analysis come from 2001 survey of the employed with disabiIities. This study was analyzed by multiple regression & used Oxaca formula. The results are as follows. The wage difference caused by disabilities effect is 39.5% of total difference, whereas 60.5% in caused by discrimination effect. Such result implies that discrimination of people with psyehiatric disabilities is greater than other people with disabilities. Based on the results of this study, alternatives for promoting vocational rehabilitation of people with psychiatric, disabilities were proposed.

광고문에 나오는 간접표현의 의미 분석

I studied the meaning of indirect expressions in written advertisement. I analyzed the data of <CREATIVE ANNUAL OF KOREA> (1996-1999). In section 2, I grasp the concept and the creation motives of indirect expressions, Indirect expressions don’t express directly the intention of accomplishment acts, however it express in a roundabout way by other expressions, and then it revealed indirectly accomplishment acts, In section 3, I analyze the data of indirect expressions in written advertisement and classify types. Indirect expressions are divided into several classes by the creation motives, that is, metaphor, metonymy, satire, implication, indirect speech acts, proverbs etc. First, many indirect expressions belong to the implication. Therefore the implication is the most typical indirect expression. Implying indirectly the intention of expression is a general expression strategy of written advertisement, Metaphors among the rhetorical devices appeared many times. Because metaphor is the center of the recognition system. Second, the type of sentences reveal the high frequency of dεscriptive sentences, and the structure of sentences are short and simpIe. Third, if the meaning of indirect expressions are delivered well, thinking power of consumer should to develope step by step. The written advertisements by the communicative method of one step are connected the literal meaning and implicative indirect meaning. On this account, the constructions of meaning are easy. The communicative method of two, three, fourth steps are complex. Lastly, the advertising firms use the indirect expressions in written advertisement for the sake of watching the effects by linguistic, psychological, social factors.

선진국들은 국가경쟁력을 높이기 위해 정부개혁을 활발하게 수행하고 있으며, 우리나라도 행정개혁을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다. 정부개혁이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 공공부문의 성과를 객관적이고 과학적으로 평가하지 않으면 안된다. 자료포락분석(Data Envelopment Analysis: DEA)은 공공부문의 상대적 효율성을 평가할 수 있는 관리과학(management science)적 방법론이다. 본 논문에서는 자료포락분석의 토대가 되는 효율성 측정 개념을 비롯, 지금까지 국내외적으로 가장 많이 사용된 규모에 대한 수익불변(CRC) 자료포락분석모형의 수리적 모형과 자료포락분석의 특성 및 적용시 고려사항을 살펴보고 예시적 적용례를 제시했다.
