인체의 장기조직중 Dieldrin의 잔류량에 관한 조사
양승림,정갑열 부산대학교 환경문제 연구소 1986 環境硏究報 Vol.4 No.-
Dieldrin is belongs to the organochlorine pesticide compounds, but it's pharmacodynamic action and metabolic mechanism are different to the other organochlorine compounds. So this study was conducted to investigate the amounts of dieldrin residues in human organ tissues of 52 autopsy cases which were caried out in Pusan and Kyung-nam area. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The residues of dieldrin in each tissue were 20.19±14.97ppb in liver, 10.37±6.84ppb in kidney, 14.79±8.67ppb in heart, 3.27±1.98ppb in lung and 12.21±7.25ppb in pancreas. 2. Although there was no statistical significance, the values of dieldrin residues in male were generally higher than in female. 3. The residues of dieldrin in all tissues were showed increasing tendency with the age. 4. The frequency distribution type of dieldrin residues in liver and kidney showed as like "L" type, right-skewed distributed type in heart and pancreas and irregular pattern in lung tissue.

Platinum catalysts supported on carbon were prepared by using various method. The particle size distribution of loaded platinum was examined using transmission electron microscope, and that was discussed relatively to the oxidation treatment of carbon black and loading method of platinum. In addition, the relationship between its particle size distribution and catalytic activities in the deep oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide and the reduction removal of dissolved oxygen by hydrazine. The number of functional groups on carbon black largely increased by the oxidation treatment with nitric acid compared to that with air or hydrogen peroxide. The large number of functional groups were effective for homogeneous loading of platium, dispersing highly homogeneous platinum particles of 2∼3 nm in a diameter by the methanol reduction method. On the other hand, a large amount of platinum could be loaded on carbon balck using an impregnation method, but the particle size distribution of platinum was poor in homogeneity. Platinum could be dispersed with extremely small particles using on ion exchange method, but the loading amount of platinum was very small. The activities of Pt/VX catalysts in the oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide and the redution of dissolved oxygen strongly varied with the number of platinum atoms exposed, regardless of the particle size, indicating that the highest catalytic activity was obtained on the Pt/VX catalyst prepared using the methanol reduction method due to the high dispersion and large loading of platinum.
Isotropic Carbon and Graphite Fibers from Chemically Modified Coal-Tar Pitch
Yang, Kap Seung,Lee, Dong Joon,Ryu, Seung Kon,Korai, Yozo,Kim, Yong Joong,Mochida, Isao 한국화학공학회 1999 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.16 No.4
A precursor for a general purpose carbon fiber was prepared from coal tar pitch (CP) modified with 10% p-benzoquinone (BQ) at 380℃ for 3 hours. Such a modification raised the softening of the pitch from 85℃ to 271℃ at a yield of 43%. The modified pitch was spun smoothly at a rate of 480m/min into a fiber of 20㎛ diameter. The fiber was stepwise stabilized at 236℃ (5℃/min) and 312℃ (1℃/min) for 3 hours at each temperature. Successively, carbonization and graphitization were performed at 1,000℃ and 2,400℃, respectively, for one hour. Both the carbonized and graphitized fibers exhibited tensile strength of 570MPa. The structural parameters of carbon and graphite fibers were their orientation values of 56.2 and 58.1%, relatively low Lc(002) of 11.24 and 25Å, and large interlayer spacing (d_(002)) of 3.86 and 3.49Å, respectively.
Pitch based carbon fibers for automotive body and electrodes
Yang, Kap Seung,Kim, Bo-Hye,Yoon, Seong-Ho 한국탄소학회 2014 Carbon Letters Vol.15 No.3
Pitch is an attractive raw material for carbon fiberprecursors due to its low cost stemming from its availability as a residue of coking and petroleum processes. Ford Motor Company reported a carbon fibertarget price of 11.0/kg by using a fast cycle-time manufacturing method with carbon fiberin an inexpensive format, allowing for an average retail price of gasoline of 3.58/gallon. They also recommended the use of carbon fiberwith strength of 1700 MPa, modulus of 170 GPa, and 1.5% elongation. This study introduced a ca. 5.5 μm carbon fiberwith 2000 MPa tensile strength obtained from a precursor through simple distil-lation of petroleum residue. Petroleum pitch based carbon nanofibersprepared via electros-pinning were characterized and potential applications were introduced on the basis of their large specific surface area and relatively high electrical conductivity.

Pitch precursors were synthesized from coal tar(CT) and pyrolysis fuel oil(PFO, petroleum residue oil) at relatively low temperature of $250^{\circ}$, in the presence of horontrifluorideidiethyletherate complex(BFDE) as a catalyst and nitrobenzene(NB) as a co-catalyst. The softening point, nitrogen content and carbon yield increased with an increase of concentration of NB. The pitch precursors with good spinnability were prepared by removing the volatile components through $N_2$ blowing. The precursor pitches were spun through a circular nozzle, stabilized at $310^{\circ}$ and finally carbonized at $1000^{\circ}$. The optically anisotropic structure formed at the absence of NB was changed into isotropic structure, showing a decrease in size of the flow domain. The hollow carbon fiber could be prepared in the process of stabilization. The results proposed that the morphology of carbon materials could be controlled by changing the concentration of catalyst and/or co-catalyst and/or stabilization condition that affect on the mobility of molecules during carbonization.
