        Identification of candidate odorant‐degrading enzyme genes in the antennal transcriptome of Aphidius gifuensis

        Odorant‐degrading enzymes (ODEs) have been found in insect antennae and play a critical role in signal chemical degradation once the message is conveyed. Significant progress has been made in characterizing ODEs in a variety of pests but very little is known in their natural enemies. We have carried out an antennae‐ and sex‐specific transcriptome of Aphidius gifuensis, a natural enemy of aphid, to identify the candidate ODEs. Based on the antennae‐ and sex‐specific transcriptome, a total of 100 putative ODEs were identified including one aldehyde oxidase (AOX), four alcohol dehydrogenases (ADs), eight UDP‐glucuronosyltransferases (UGTs), 45 cytochrome P450 (P450s), nine glutathione S‐transferases (GSTs) and 40 carboxylesterases (CCEs or CXEs). Additionally, we used RT‐qPCR to determine the expression profiles of these genes in tissues of both sexes. Based on the phylogenic analysis and tissue‐expression patterns, AgifEstE4, AgifCXE3, AgifCCE4, AgifCCE7, and AgifCCE18 were suggested as key ODEs in A. gifuensis. In addition, the female or male specifically enriched genes, such as AgifCCE17, AgifEstB1, AgifCYP18a1, AgifUGT2C2, were also considered to involve in the chemosensory processing in A. gifuensis. This study not only identified the candidate ODEs in A. gifuensis but also provided source for further exploration of the molecular mechanisms of chemical signal transductions in A. gifuensis, as well as other hymenopteran species.

        A Novel Capacitive Negative Electrode Material of Fe3N

        A capacitive negative electrode material of Fe3N has been synthesized via a simple precursor ammoniation treatment. Electrochemical measure shows that the electrode exhibits a specific capacitance of 270 F · g -1 at a current density of 0.5A · g -1 in 6M KOH, 66% of the initial value remains at a specific current density of 5A · g -1. Capacitance retention after 5000 cycles is about 61.5% of the initial capacitance. The electrochemical performance is relatively great in comparison with the literature reports of some Fe-based compounds. Because of the low cost and simple preparation method of Fe3N, the material is promising in electrochemical capacitive energy storage applications.

        Transverse Tensile Deformation and Failure of Three-dimensional Five-directional Braided Carbon Fiber Composites

        Accurate characterisation of transverse tensile deformation and damage evolution is of importance for evaluatingthe failure behaviors of three-dimensional (3D) braided composites. In the present study, a finite element method (FEM) andseveral non-destructive testing methods including acoustic emission, digital image correlation, and infrared thermography aredeveloped to investigate the transverse tensile deformation and damage evolution of 3D five-directional braided composites. In the finite element approach, a matrix-impregnated fiber bundles (MIFB) model and a representative volume cell (RVC)model, which take into account the fiber bundles and matrix, are respectively established to predict the effective mechanicalproperties of fiber bundles and simulate the deformation and progressive damage of such composites. The damaged locationsand the failure modes including matrix crack, fiber debonding and shear fracture of fiber are predicted and verified byexperimental tests. The non-destructive tests show that the transverse tensile fracture process can be divided into four stageswhich correspond to acoustic emission signals severally. The combination of the FEM based numerical modeling andmultiple non-destructive characterisation methods can accurately monitor the deformation and damage behaviors of 3Dbraided composites under transverse tensile loads and thus provide a reference for structural health monitoring of compositesin practical application.

        关于中国员工组织声望感知对组织公民行为影响的实证分析

        In the field of organizational behavior research domain, there is little previous studies concerns about the perceived external prestige and organization based self-esteem. In this research, we focus on whether the perceived external prestige has the positive effect to the affective commitment and organizational citizenship behavior or not. And whether the organization based self-esteem moderates the relationship between the perceived external prestige and affective commitment or not. The data was collected from a questionnaire-based survey of six companies located in the Beijing, Tianjin city from August to September 2017. The questionnaire-based survey consisted mainly of structured questions; we received 182 effective responds and used SPSS, AMOS to analysis the correlation of this data. The results of this research reveals that: Firstly, perceived external prestige has a positive significant relationship to affective commitment. Secondly, affective commitment also positively relates to organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, affective commitment mediates the relationship between the perceived external prestige and organizational citizenship behavior. Fourthly, organization based self-esteem moderates the relationship between the perceived external prestige and affective commitment. Finally, some suggestion to improve the level of perceived external prestige and organization based self-esteem for employees should be considered. Based on the research result, we may know that the high level of organization based self-esteem, the employees’ affective commitment will become strong. Since today’s most organizational behavior research focused on the inside organization not the outside, for example: the leadership style, the organization justice and so on. Based on the social exchange theory, the perceived of the outside factors also have a significant influence on the development of the organization and the motivation of employees. This research also explores the relationship between perceived external prestige and organization based self-esteem can be a contribution to the supplement for the literature. And some practical measures should be taken by the organization to protect the external prestige image and improve the ability of public relationship to deal with the unexpected emergency.

      • Protective Effects of Scutellaria barbata Against Rat Liver Tumorigenesis

        Scutellaria barbata D. Don (S. barbata), a traditional Chinese medicine, is used to treat cancers, inflammation, and urinary diseases. This study aimed to determine any protective effects of S. barbata crude extract (CE-SB) against rat liver tumorigenesis induced by diethylnitrosamine (DENA). Liver malfunction indices in serum were measured by biochemical examination. Hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed to examine liver pathology. Contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were measured in liver homogenates to evaluate oxidative stress. The levels of liver malfunction indices in the CE-SB groups, especially in the CE-SB high dose group, were lower than that of the model group (P<0.05). The results from histological examination indicated that the number of liver nodules in the CE-SB groups decreased compared with the model group (P<0.05). Content of MDA determined in liver was significantly decreased, and level of SOD elevated by CE-SB. CE-SB can inhibit experimental liver tumorigenesis and relieve hepatic injury in rats.

        本研究是通过实证分析来验证魅力型领导对组织成员的创新性行为及变化指向型组织公民行 为的影响关系,及其这个影响过程中感情承诺的中介效果和领导-成员交换关系的调节效果。民营 电子公司需要面对激烈的外部竞争,企业为了进一步适应外部环境的变化及提升公司业绩,对于领导风格,员工的创新行为,对公司的认同等行为的变化和改进非常重视。为了验证研究模型和假 设,我们把北京,天津,青岛这三个城市的5家民营电子公司的192名员工作为调查对象,共收集到 有效问卷175份,通过统计分析软件SPSS,AMOS及其Bootstrapping分析方法,对收集到的问卷进行 研究分析。研究结果如下:1,魅力型领导对员工创新工作行为及变化指向型组织公民行为有积极 的的影响。2,感情承诺在魅力型领导对员工创新工作行为及变化指向型组织公民行为影响关系中 有明显的中介效果。3,领导-成员交换关系在魅力型领导对感情承诺的影响中没有调节效果。通过 上述研究成果得知:如果想提升员工的创新工作行为和变化指向型组织公民行为,增强领导的魅力 型领导能力和创造有利于强化员工的感情承诺的环境十分必要。 Today’s fast developed corporate environment requires highly professional employees, and organizational structure becomes simplified and horizontal. So, individuals’ change-oriented organizational citizen behavior(C-OCB) and innovative work behavior(IWB) are considered as important factors to improve the organizational achievement. The charismatic leadership in organization becomes very necessary. The study showed the charismatic leadership, affective commitment can make organization members achieve the performance and innovation beyond the expection, and which effectively to reform the circumstance in the corporate and increase the effectiveness of the organization and its members. In addition, this research is to empirically investigate the impacts of charismatic leadership on change-oriented organizational citizen behavior and innovative work behavior. Moreover, the mediating role of affective commitment is also measured in present research. The relationship of variances were tested using SPSS, AMOS, and Bootstrapping. In conclusion, the results of the study have indicated that the charismatic leadership as an independent variable have significantly influence on both innovative work behavior and change-oriented organizational citizen behavior which as dependent variable. Also, based on the recent research, the affective commitment plays a mediated role in the relationship between the charismatic leadership and change-oriented organizational citizen, innovative work behavior. Finally, according to the results, some practical recommendations to develop the innovative work behavior for Chinese organizational members were suggested.

        Solar TDOA/Doppler Difference Joint Observation Navigation for the Approach Phase of Mars Exploration

        The celestial navigation using the difference between the direct and reflected solar light is emerging, as the difference can remove the conjoint bias caused by the instability and unpredictability of sunlight. These navigation methods include the solar Doppler difference and the solar TDOA (time difference of arrival). The solar TDOA measurement has a high positioning accuracy. However, the solar flare is unpredictable, which leads to the instability and randomness of the positioning performance in the approach phase. Fortunately, the solar Doppler difference navigation is stable. However, this navigation system is unobservable. To utilize their advantages and avoid their disadvantages, we combine them and propose the solar TDOA/Doppler difference joint observation. Due to its unobservability, we integrate it with the Mars angle navigation, and develop the solar light joint observation/Mars angle integrated navigation that is completely observable. The simulation results demonstrate the stability and robustness of the solar TDOA/Doppler difference joint observation navigation method. Compared with the celestial navigation using one solar difference observation such as the TDOA or the Doppler, the solar light joint observation/Mars angle integrated navigation can provide higher and more stable navigation accuracy.

        Production of isophthalic acid from m-xylene oxidation under the catalysis of the H3PW12O40/carbon and cobalt catalytic system

        Isophthalic acid (IPA) is commercially produced from m-xylene oxidation with the catalysis of thehomogeneous Co–Mn–Br catalyst system. In this study, a catalytic system consisting of HPW/C and Co(II)has been put forward to oxidize m-xylene (MX) to IPA. The experimental results prove that the HPW/Cand Co catalytic system is capable of catalyzing the oxidation of MX to IPA, which can obtain a higher MXconversion and IPA concentration than the homogeneous H3PW12O40/Co(OAc)2/Mn(OAc)2 catalyticsystem. The heterogeneous catalytic system is also advantageous over the homogeneous catalyticsystem in the inhibition of the oxidation of acetic acid and IPA. The optimal amount of phosphotungsticacid supported on carbon is 7.5% (wt). The best dosage of HPW/C is 15 g l-1. The optimum Co(II)concentration in the catalytic system for IPA production is 0.064% (wt). The best HPW/C activationtemperature is 220℃ .

      • Combined Detection of CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 in the Diagnosis and Prognosis of Resectable Gastric Cancer

        Our aim was to investigate the value of combined detection of serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen (CA) 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 in diagnosis and assessment of prognosis in consecutive gastric cancer patients. Clinical data including preoperative serum CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242, and CA 50 values and information on clinical pathological factors were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Univariate and multivariate survival analyses were used to explore the relationship between tumor markers and survival. Positive rates of tumor markers CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 in the diagnosis of gastric cancer were 17.7, 17.1, 20.4 and 13.8%, respectively, and the positive rate for all four markers combined was 36.6%. Patients with elevated preoperative serum concentrations of CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50, had late clinical tumor stage and significantly poorer overall survival. Five-year survival rates in patients with elevated CEA, CA 19-9, CA 242 and CA 50 were 28.1, 25.8, 27.0 and 24.1%, respectively, compared with 55.0, 55.4, 56.4 and 54.5% in patients with these markers at normal levels (p<0.01). In multivariate Cox proportional hazards analyses, an elevated CA 242 level was determined to be an independent prognostic marker in gastric cancer patients. Combined detection of four tumor markers increased the positive rate for gastric cancer diagnosis. CA 242 showed higher diagnostic value and CA 50 showed lower diagnostic value. In resectable gastric carcinoma, preoperative CA 242 level was associated with disease stage, and was found to be a significant independent prognostic marker in gastric cancer patients.
