Primary fallopian tube carcinoma is one of the rarest gynecological malignancies, accounting for 0.18% to 1.6% of all malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive tract. Preoperative diagnosis was difficult due to nonspecific symptoms and signs. This case of primary tubal cancer was diagnosed preoperatively on the basis of ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. We have experienced a case of primary fallopian tube carcinoma before operation and so report with brief review of the literature.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to establish a pancreatic tumor model of mouse using the electroporation-enhanced Sleeping Beauty (SB) transposon system. METHODS: The SB transposon system was used in conjunction with electroporation to deliver oncogenes, c-Myc and HRAS, and shRNA against p53 into the mouse pancreas to induce tumors. Oncogenes (c-Myc and HRAS) and shRNA against p53 gene were directly injected into the pancreas of the mouse along with in vivo electroporation applied on the injection site. The tumors were identified grossly and confirmed using animal positron emission tomographic imaging. The tumors were then characterized using histological and immunohistochemical techniques. The expression of the targeted genes (c-Myc, HRAS, and p53) was analyzed by a real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: Pancreatic tumors were successfully induced. The tumor phenotype was a sarcomatoid carcinoma, which was verified through immunohistochemistry. Some cysts or duct-like structures suggested to be metaplastic acinar cells were visible in the induced tumor. CONCLUSIONS: The SB transposon enhanced with electroporation can readily generate pancreatic tumors in the mice, and thus, this model serves as a valuable resource for the mouse models of pancreatic cancer.

A Reversible Posterior Leukoencephalopathy Syndrome(RPLS) consists of neurologic symptoms and signs - headache, consciousness change, seizure, visual impairment - and brain imaging finding showing brain(espicially white matter) edema usually involving the posteior parietal-temporal-occipital areas. The causes are thought to be hypertensive encephalopathy, preeclampsia or eclampsia, renal failure with fluid overload and immunosuppressive agents such as cyclosporin A or FK506. RPLS may usually reversible if treated early by decreasing blood pressure and discontinuing offending drugs. A 23-year- old man had been hemodialyzed with chronic renal failure for two years. His blood pressure elevated to 240/150mmHg 3 days before admission and he complained of severe headache, vomiting, and total visual loss at the day of admission. Brain T2-weighted MRI imaging showed increased signal intensity involving the both parietal, posterior temporal, and occipital lobes. After antihypertensive and dexamethason treatment, a follow-up brain MRI performed on 7 days after admission showed nearly normalized findings and all symptoms including visual loss were recovered completely in one week.

본 논문은 시분할 슈퍼프레임을 사용하는 무선 네트워크에서 슈퍼 프레임을 형성하는 새로운 알고리듬을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 알고리듬은 높은 성능과 안정성, 오류 저항성을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 전력 절약을 쉽게 하는 특징도 가지고 있다. 다양한 종류의 트래픽 아래서의 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 알고리듬의 성능을 응답시간, 비콘손실에 대한 오류 저항성 등의 성능지수로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 제안된 알고리듬이 기존에 제안된 알고리듬들의 장점을 이어받으면서도, 단점을 크게 줄였음을 알 수 있었다. This paper proposes a novel superframe formation algorithm for wireless systems with time-slotted superframe structure. The design objective of the proposed algorithm is to provide high performance, stability, error tolerance, as well as power-saving features. The paper presents a comprehensive performance analysis of the Proposed superframe formation algorithm with different types of traffic applied. During analysis several performance metrics are investigated. The error tolerance to beacon loss and the behavior of CBR flows are also studied. We show that the proposed algorithm inherits the advantages of the previously used algorithms, while providing additional features.
1997년도 소규모 사업장 보건관리기술 지원사업 대상 사업장의 산업보건 실태

The small scale industries in Korea are important in occupational health care management due to high accident rate and poor working condition. The authors surveyed the 4,811 small scale industries participated in the 1997 subsidiary program on health care management. The contents of survey were the general characteristics of the factory, the results of workers' general and occupational health examination, the results of workplace environmental monitoring, and the number of occupational accident and injured person at 1995 and 1996. We classified all industries by 67 groups. The prevalence of the general disease was higher in「Manufacture of other fabricated metal products」.「Manufacture of textiles」, 「Manufacture of basic metals」. In occupational disease, thaty was higher in 「 Manufacture of metal products」,「manufacture of basic metals」, so in environmental monitoring in 「Manufacture of textiles」, 「Manufacture of other fabricated metal products」,「printing」, in occupational injuries in 「Manufacture of chemical products」,「Manufacture of basic metals」. However the factories of 「manufacture of motor vehicle」, 「manufacture of machine and equipment」, 「manufacture of electric product」in the program are large in magnitude, but less important in occupational health management. We observed that the prevalence of general disease, occupational disease, workplace environmental monitoring, occupational injuries of subsidized industries in 1996 were increased compared with those in 1995, and were larger than those of nationwide statistics. These phenomenon shows that the subsidiary health program for participated industries is important and to be urgent. We observed that the major groups in district were different and so the approaching method of each district must be various and different. And the health program manager should focus on the C grade in health examination and the action level in workplace monitoring more than the D grade and the permissible level.
