        In order to calculate the radiation characterization of Cr_2O_3, MnO_2, Fe_2O_3, C_0O, NiO and CuO transition metal oxides, we calculated spectral emissive power(SEP), integral emissive power(IEP), percentage of integral emissive power, regional emissivity, and total emissivity in the Far Infrared radiator at 523K. As a result, the IEP increased Fe_2O_3[MnO_2[C_0O[Cr_2O_3[NiO[CuO, the regional emissivity increased MnO_2< C_0O<Fe_2O_3<MnO_2<NiO Cr_2O_3<CuO, the total emissivity increased Cr_2O_3 Fe_2O_3<MnO_2<C_0O<NiO<CuO, and the percentage of integral emissive power increased C_0O<CuO<NiO<Fe_2O_3<MnO_2<Cr_2O_3 in the Far Infrared radiator at 523K.

      • Slide Session : OS-RES-06 ; Oncology : Two Consecutive Intrapleural Injection of Cisplatin for Complicated Malignant Pleural Effusion

        Background: Chemical pleurodesis is usually not effective for MPE accompanied with atelectasis, loculation and pleural invasion which need another approaches. Recently intrapleural chemotherapy with cisplatin has not been recommanded fi rstly because of low yields and high recurrence of MPE. However, most trials of intrapleural cisplatin were done one time with low doses. We expected more than one intrapleural cisplatin injection with higher dose might be better for complicated MPE. Methods: Patients were enrolled from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014. Intrapleural cisplatin (50 mg) injections were done two times via chest tube at 24hr interval after complete drainage of PE. Following each injection, chest tube was clamped for 6hrs. If there was no shfting on decubitus x ray or daily amount of drainage reduced by < 30 ml, chest tube was removed. Between one and two weeks after injections, CT or decubitus view was taken to evaluate early response. Late response was determined monthly thereafter. CR: no residual PE or no shifting on CT/x ray. PR: presence of minimal PE (subpleural fl uid = 1 cm in width). Stable: decreased but more than minimal. Failure or Relapse: no decreased or more increased PE in 2wks or progression after early response. Results: 22 complicated MPE (11 atelectasis, 8 pleural invasion, 2 loculation and 1 refractory to previous pleurodesis) in 20 patients were included. Early responses showed 14 CR (63.6%) and 8 PR (36.4%) (100% RR). Mean duration of overall response was 101ds. Late response was determined in 19 MPEs. Two (10.5%) were relapsed at 42 and 281ds and 2 (10.5%) were changed to stable from early CR/PR. RR of late reponse was 78.9% (15/19). Conclusions: Two consecutive intrapleural injection of cisplatin was highly effective for complicated MPE in both early and late periods.

        Impacts of Rapid Recanalization and Collateral Circulation on Clinical Outcome after Intraarterial Thrombolysis

        Background and Purpose Rapid recanalization might improve clinical outcomes after intraarterial thrombolysis (IAT) for acute ischemic stroke patients with collateral circulation. We determined whether rapid recanalization and collateral circulation affect clinical outcomes after IAT. Methods We retrospectively evaluated the clinical and radiological data of 134 consecutive patients who underwent IAT for intracranial artery occlusion. The interval from symptom onset to recanalization after IAT (onset-to-recanalization time) as an estimate of the probability of good clinical outcome (modified Rankin scale 0-2) was calculated in patients with collateral circulation in the ischemic hemisphere, which was rated poor (0/1 American Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology criteria) or good (2-4). Changes in National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NHISS) score before and after IAT and modified Rankins scale scores 3 months after discharge were compared with respect to onset-to-recanalization time. Results In patients with good collateral circulation, the estimated onset-to-recanalization time for a 0.5 probability of a good clinical outcome was 347 minutes; with poor collateral circulation, it was 172 minutes for a 0.2 probability of good clinical outcome. Outcome analyses according to onset-to-recanalization time showed patients recanalized <6 hours had lower NHISS scores (<4.5, 4.5-6, >6 hours of onset-to-recanalization time, and non-recanalization: 5.1, 6.9, 11.9, and 19.8, respectively) at discharge and higher percentages of good clinical outcome (69%, 66.7%, 21.9%, and 0%, respectively) 3 months after IAT. Conclusions The time window to expect a high probability of a good clinical outcome after IAT is highly dependent on the collateral circulation.

        Monitoring Therapeutic Response in a Case of Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis by Serial F-18 FDG PET/CT

        Due to the low yield of AFB smear and culture in extrapulmonary tuberculosis, therapeutic responses of patients with extrapulmonary tuberculosis are usually monitored clinically and/or radiographically. Such monitoring techniques, however, are not enough to provide effective diagnosis if a remnant lesion exists after treatment. Tuberculosis presents hypermetabolic activity on F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-18 FDG PET/CT) scanning. Reported herein is a case of extrapulmonary tuberculosis where the therapeutic response was assessed via serial F-18 FDG PET/CT scanning, which was useful for detecting the extent of extrapulmonary tuberculosis and for estimating the patient's therapeutic response.

      • 폐경후 당뇨병 환자의 영양소 섭취수준과 골밀도와의 관련성 : 강원지역 폐경후 여성을 대상으로

        연구배경 : 최근 연구에서는 제2형 당뇨병 환자가 정상대조군보다 더 골손실이 심하다는 연구가 있는 반면 골소실이 있는 환자와 없는 환자사이에 혈당의 조절상태는 별 차이가 없었다는 보고도 있었다. 이에 영양소의 섭취에 따른 골밀도의 차이를 보고자 본 연구에서는 제2형 당뇨병환자 중 폐경 후 여성을 대상으로 영양소 섭취와 골밀도와의 관련성을 살펴 보았다. 방법 : 연세대학교 원주기독병원 내분비대사내과에 내원하는 폐경후 여성 당뇨병 환자 50명을 대상으로 조사하였고, 이 중 갑상선기능항진증, 조기폐경, 간경변증이 있는 환자를 제외하여 총 40명이었다. 본 연구는 예비조사에서 개발한 반정량 식품 섭취 빈도 조사지를 이용하여 영양소를 산출하였다. 결과: 대상자들의 영양 섭취 상태는 열량 섭취량이 RDA(Recommended daily Dietary Allowances for Koreans, 2000)의 94%, 단백질 118%, 회분 170%, 인 154%, 철분 91%, 비타민 B1 110%, niacin은 100%으로 적절한 것으로 나타났으나, 칼슘 섭취량은 498mg으로 RDA의 71%였고, 비타민 A는 75%, 비타민 B2는 66.6%, 섬유소는 27%로 낮게 나타났다. 대퇴부의 골밀도는 연령과 음의 상관관계, 제지방 체중, 칼슘과 인의 섭취량과는 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 대퇴부의 골밀도는 체질량지수, 당뇨병 유병기간, 체지방량, protein, albumin, cholesterol, TG, LDL, Ca,P, 공복혈당, HbA1c , 열량 섭취량, 단백질, 지방, 탄수화물 섭취량과는 유의성이 나타나지 않았다. 흰밥은 섭취횟수가 정상군이 골다공증군보다 유의하게 적었으며, 골결핍군과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 잡곡밥과 검정콩은 정상군이 골다공증군보다 유의하게 많았으며, 골결핍군과 는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론 : 본 연구의 대상자들은 골밀도와 공복혈당, HbA1c , 당뇨병 유병기간 등의 혈당조절상태와는 관련성이 나타나지 않았으며, 1일 칼슘섭취량은 498mg으로 RDA의 71%로 적게 나타나 칼슘섭취를 적극 권장하여야 하겠으며, 골다공증군에서 식물성 단백질과 인의 영양소 섭취가 적었으며, 이는 잡곡밥과 검정콩의 섭취횟수가 적었기 때문으로 사료된다. Background : Some studies currently suggest that the patients with type 2 diabetes me llitus have an increased incidence of osteoporosis. But glycemic control is not significantly different between osteopenic and nonosteopenic patients and many otherrisk factors are associated with the increased prevalence of osteoporosis. Methods : We investigated the correlation between bone mineral density and nutritional statusby food frequency questionnaire in 40 postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes me llitus. Results : Nutritional status was that energy intake rate was 94% of RDA, protein 118%, phosphorus 154%, and but calcium intake was 498 mg and it was short by 71% of RDA. The bone mineraldensity of femur had negative correlation with age and positive correlation with LBM, calcium and phophorus intake. There were significant differences in age, height, LBM, blood giucose , HbA_(1c), duration of diabetes a mong normal, osteopenia, osteoporosis groups, and also in the intake frequencies of boild rice and cereals, yellow corvina and black soybean among them. Conclusion: The calcium intake was short by 71% of RDA. Vegetable protein and phosphorus intake which were derived in the boiled rice and cereals and black soybean were significantly decreased in the group with osteoporosis.

      • 기업의 사회적 책임성과가 조세회피와 경영자보상에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 한국기업지배구조원에서 공시하는 ESG 등급지표를 이용하여 사회적 책임성과가 기업의 조세회피와 경영자보상에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 추가로 사회적 책임성과가 우수한 기업과 그렇지 않은 기업 간에 조세회피가 경영자보상에는 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. IFRS의 도입 이후인 2011년부터 2017년까지 유가증권시장에 상장된 기업을 대상으로 ESG 등급을 사회적 책임성과의 대리변수로 사용하여 조세회피와 경영자보상과의 관계를 분석하였다. 7년간 유가증권시장에 상장된 12월말 결산일인 기업 중에서 한국기업지배구조원의 ESG 평가등급이 존재하는 동일기업을 표본대상으로 설정하여 총 570개(기업/연) 자료를 분석에 사용한 결과를 요약하면, 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 책임성과와 조세회피 간의 관계는 조세회피 측청치인 5GaapETR에서만 미약하게 유의한 음(-)의 결과가 나타나서, 기업의 사회적 책임성과가 높은 기업일수록 조세회피에 소극적인 것으로 확인하였다. 둘째, 기업의 사회적 책임성과는 경영자보상에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되어 기업의 높은 사회적 책임성과는 경영자보상을 증가시키는 긍정적 요인이라는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 조세회피 측청치 5GaapETR에서 사회적 책임성과가 우수한 기업은 그렇지 않은 기업에 비해서 조세회피가 경영자보상에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 측정치의 일부이긴 하지만 사회적 책임성과가 우수한 기업의 경영자보상은 조세회피가 낮을수록 높아지고, 그렇지 않은 기업은 경영자 보상이 감소하는 것으로 확인되었다. 비록 특정 변수에서만 나타났으나 사회적 책임성과가 높을수록 조세회피가 낮을수록 보다 건전한 경영투명성이 확보되며 이에 경영자보상이 높아진다는 일반적인 시사점을 확인할 수 있었다. This study examines the effects of corporate social rsponsibility performance on tax avoidance and executive compensation. The study was conducted between 2011 and 2017 after the introduction of IFRS, to companies listed in the securities market that have ESG data at the korea corporate governance service. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, ESG and tax avoidance were significant to 5GaapETR measured value. corporate social rsponsibility performance from hypothesis 1 effects on tax avoidance with minus but it was only adopted only in some models (5GaapETR). The higher the corporate social responsibility performance, the less passive the tax avoidance. Second, ESG was found to have a positive effect on executive compensation, and [Hypothesis 2] was adopted. The high social responsibility performance of a company is a positive factor that increases executive compensation. Third, companies with superior social responsibility showed a difference in the impact of tax avoidance on executive compensation compared to those who did not. When 5GaapETR was used as a measure of tax avoidance, the [Hypothesis 3] was adopted that firms with higher socially responsible performance had higher compensation for executive, while firms with lower socially responsible performance decreased with lower tax avoidance.

        δ-Hermolysin like Gene of Staphylococcus lugdunensis in Acute Oral Infection Have Partial Homology with δ-Hemolysin Gene of Staphylococcus aureus

        To investigate the distribution and hemolytic activity of staphylococci in acute oral infection, staphylococci were isolated from the patients with acute oral infection and healthy persons, hemolytic activity was measured on sheep blood agar plates, and DNA-DNA hybridization was preformed with δ-hemolysin gene probe of S. aureus under low stringent condition or high stringent condition. The isolation ratio of S.lugdunensis in patients was higher than that of healthy persons. Four strains of S. lugdunensis had δ-like hemolytic activity, but two strains did not. In dot blot analysis, S. lugdunensis was hybridized with δ-hemolysin probe of S. aureus under low stringent condition, but weakly hybridized with δ-hemolysin probe under high stringent condition. There results suggest that S. lugdunensis is an important pathogen in acute oral infection and δ-hemolysin gene of S. lugdunensis have partial homology with δ-hemolysin gene of S. aureus.
