        2017년 7월 4일부터 6일까지 경상남도 거제시 거제도 일대를 김주필, 김대희, 지승환, 지성현, 최라미, 이영경 등 한국거미연구소 회원들이 주야로 채집한 결과, 총 23과 56속 75종이 조사 연구되어 이에 발표하는 바이다. 채집한 표본은 주필거미박물관에 보관하였다. From July 4 to 6 in 2017. Joo-Pil Kim, Dae-Hee Kim, Seung-Hwan Ji, Sung-Hyun Ji, Ra-Mi Choi, Yeong-Gyeong Lee, the members of The Arachnological Institute of Korea investigated the spiders in the whole area of Geoje city, Geoje-do, Gyeongsangnam-do and report 23 Family 56 Genus 75 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

        初期 士林派의 정치적 좌절과 退溪學

        이 논문의 목적은 퇴계학과 초기 사림파, 특히 사화기를 거치며 와해된 영남 사림파와의 관련성을 확인하는 데 있다. 누구도 쉽게 부정하지 못하듯 ‘퇴계학’의 등장은 조선성리학의 질적 전환을 불러온 하나의 학문적 사건이다. 이러한 학문적 사건이 도대체 어떻게 일어날 수 있었는가 하는 문제는 퇴계학의 성격에 대한 이해에 있어서 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 이황의 생애와 중첩되면서도 영남사림파가 와해되어가는 사화기의 절정을 살다간 이현보, 이언적, 주세붕이 보여준 삶의 지향과 성리학에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 퇴계학의 형성배경을 확인하고 있다. 단순히 일상생활의 규범학으로 혹은 정치적 이념으로 이해되던 주자학을 언제부터 우주와 인간의 근원을 물어가는 철학으로 새롭게 이해하고 그것을 사회적으로 확산하기 위한 노력을 기울이기 시작했는지 묻는다면, 사화기를 지나며 초기 사림파가 겪은 정치적 좌절과 그것에 대한 반성이 주요한 전환점이 되었음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 이현보, 이언적, 주세붕은 바로 그러한 지향을 적극적으로 표명하였으며 퇴계학의 성립을 준비한 인물로 평가할 수 있다. The object of this paper is to study the relation between Toegye’s learning, early Sarim sect, and especially Yeongnam Sarim sect which had been collapsed over the Sahwa period. No one can easily deny that emergence of ‘Toegye’s learning’ was an academic event to bring qualitative change to Chosun’s Neo-confucianism. The problem of what made this academic event possible to happen is essential to understand the characteristic of Toegye’s learning. This paper shows the establishment background of Toegye theory based on the appreciation of Neo-confucianism and intention of life shown by Yi-Hyeonbo, Yi-eonjeok and Joo-Seboong, who lived when Yi-hwang was alive and also experienced the culmination of Sahwa period where the Yeongnam Sarim sect was collapsing. If you question when Neo-confucianism, which was simply considered as a study of daily life model or political ideology, started to be understood anew as the philosophy to discover the origins of cosmos and human kind, and get the attention and attempt for its social dissemination, you could see the political frustration and introspection about it that early Sarim sect had experienced during the Sahwa period became a significant turning point. And Yi-Hyeonbo, Yi-eonjeok and Joo-Seboong can be evaluated as the ones who declared their intention and prepared for the establishment of Toegye’s learning.

      • 케타민과 리도카인으로 시행한 소아 탈장 수술 2,230명

        Ketamine is a safe and effective drug for pediatric anesthesia, sedation and analgesia. We hoped to identify that surgeons could operate a pediatric hernia with the ketamine anesthesia without general anesthesia. The study was a consecutive case series of 2230 inguinal hernia patients aged 1 months to 17 years in a Joo's day-surgical clinic during 11-year period. The patients had pediatric inguinal hernia surgery without general anesthesia under the day-surgery system. We retrospectively analyzed the medical record of patients who were registered with the Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) system. All patients received ketamine (5mg/kg) and atropine (0.01mg/kg) intramuscularly before surgery. After anesthesia, we injected 1~2% lidocaine (Less than 5ml) subcutaneously at the site of incision and started operation. The surgical method was the high ligation method of the hernia sac.) In total 2230 patients, male were 1756 and female were 474. 2076 patients were a unilateral inguinal hernia at the time of surgery and 154 were bilateral hernia patients. Less than three months, depending on the age of the patients was 391, and less than 12 months the patient was 592 people (26.5%). After surgery, there were no accidents or long term complications associated with ketamine anesthesia. We think the surgeon can safely do the pediatric inguinal hernia surgery using ketamine and lidocaine without anesthesiologist through 11 years of our surgical experiences.

        Development of a Chest‑Belt‑Type Biosignal‑Monitoring Wearable Platform System

        The purpose of this study was to develop a wearable platform system that can detect and acquire a soldier’s biosignals (i.e., heart activity signal, respiration rate, etc.) in a nonrestrained, unconscious manner. These detected biosignals are transmitted to a processing device to analyze and monitor the soldier’s physical status. To achieve this, textile-based heart activity electrodes and a strain gauge sensor for the respiration signal measurement were developed, and their performances in detecting each signal were verifed. These sensors were embedded in a chest belt to design a wearable platform that can simultaneously measure heart activity and respiration signals. The sensor part of the chest belt has a dual layer structure to detect high-quality signals. Stretch fabric was used on the outer layer and a respiration sensor was attached to the belt. On the inside layer, a non-stretch fabric was used as the base fabric and a heart activity-sensing electrode, that is capable of taking measurements using a modifed lead-II heart activity signal induction method, was embroidered onto the fabric. Subjects were asked to wear the chest belt, and a biosignal processor module was attached to verify the system’s performance while simultaneously acquiring the heart activity and respiration signals. More specifcally, it was confrmed that the two signals were detected in a stable. It is expected that the biosignal-monitoring wearable platform system developed in this study will be able to efectively analyze and monitor soldiers’ biosignals.

        Effect of Al and Mg Contents on Wettability and Reactivity of Molten Zn–Al–Mg Alloys on Steel Sheets Covered with MnO and SiO2 Layers

        The reactive wetting behaviors of molten Zn–Al–Mg alloys on MnO- and amorphous (a-) SiO2-covered steel sheets wereinvestigated by the sessile drop method, as a function of the Al and Mg contents in the alloys. The sessile drop tests werecarried out at 460 °C and the variation in the contact angles (θc) of alloys containing 0.2–2.5 wt% Al and 0–3.0 wt% Mg wasmonitored for 20 s. For all the alloys, the MnO-covered steel substrate exhibited reactive wetting whereas the a-SiO2-coveredsteel exhibited nonreactive, nonwetting (θc > 90°) behavior. The MnO layer was rapidly removed by Al and Mg contained inthe alloys. The wetting of the MnO-covered steel sheet significantly improved upon increasing the Mg content but decreasedupon increasing the Al content, indicating that the surface tension of the alloy droplet is the main factor controlling its wettability. Although the reactions of Al and Mg in molten alloys with the a-SiO2 layer were found to be sluggish, the wettabilityof Zn–Al–Mg alloys on the a-SiO2 layer improved upon increasing the Al and Mg contents. These results suggest that thewetting of advanced high-strength steel sheets, the surface oxide layer of which consists of a mixture of MnO and SiO2,withZn–Al–Mg alloys could be most effectively improved by increasing the Mg content of the alloys.

        Velar palatalization-revisited

In this paper, I present a substantial phonetic basis for various patterns of velar palatalization, focusing on articulatory and perceptual roles. I argue that velar palatalization in phonology fundamentally arises from phonetic coarticulation between a velar consonant and a palatal vocoid and that the various patterns are appropriately characterized in terms of different degrees of coarticulation; greater coarticulation gives rise to a greater extent of modification of the velar constriction, resulting in a greater constrictional movement toward the palatal region. Moreover, a listener's perceptual factors also play a prominent role in determining some patterns; the patterns which are not predicted by the coarticulatory mechanisms may be attributed to the listener's misperception. This suggests that phonological patterns and processes can be satisfactorily explained when we consider phonetic details underlying sound production and perception. (Korea University)
