      • 스마트TV의 수용의도에 관한 연구 : 혁신확산이론 중심으로

        올 1월 미국 라스베이거스에서 개최된 세계 최대 규모의 가전 전시회인 2011년 CES (Consumer Electronics Show)에서 가장 관심거리는 스마트 TV와 3DTV 였다. 3DTV는 이제 TV의 일 반화된 기능으로 발 전하고 있다. 3DTV 이후의 차세대 TV로 기대되는 것이 스마트 TV이다. DisplaySearch&iSuppli 2010년의 보 고서에 의해 스마트TV 세계시장은 2010년부터 2013년까지 연평균 38%의 성장율을 기록하 며 2013년에 1 억대 이상 판매될 것으로 예상된다. 또한 KT경제경영연구소의 보고서에 따르면 한국 국내 시장의 경우에는 2010년 약 13%에서, 2013년에 전체 TV시장의 절반을 차지할 만큼 급격히 성장할 것으로 예 측하고 있다. 이와 같이 스마트TV의 시장은 빠르게 성장하는 있음에도 불구하고 현재까지 학술적인 연구 는 미미한 실정 이다. 또, 이용자들이 스마트TV를 이용하는데 영향을 미치는 수용요인에 관한 연구들은 그 중요성에도 불구 하고 아직까지 많은 연구들이 이루어지지 못했다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Rogers의 혁신확 산이론을 중심으로 한 선행연구를 통해 스마트TV의 수용요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 혁신제품 수용에 있 어서 중요한 요인 인 가격과 지각된 위험을 요인으로 제안하였다. 그리고 계획적 행동이론 바탕으로 사회적 영향과 소비자 특 성을 조절 요인으로 제안하고 본 연구의 연구 모델을 구성하였다.

        Impact of trailing edge jet on the performance of a vertical axis wind turbine

        Vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) is attracting more attention due to its structural advantages. This paper presented a new type of VAWT with a jet installed at a blade trailing edge in order to improve the aerodynamic performance and power coefficient of the wind turbine. A numerical simulation was conducted on Castelli vertical wind turbine by adding a trailing edge jet. The power coefficient, vortex structure, static pressure distribution and instantaneous power coefficient were analyzed. The results indicated that jet applied at the trailing edge could improve the power coefficient of the VAWT. When TSR = 2.04, the maximum increase of wind turbine power coefficient could reach about 32 %. The improvement of the power coefficient is due to the thrust produced by the jet and the suppression of the vortex by suction around the airfoil. Finally, the feasibility of the VAWT proposed in this study was preliminary verified by numerical simulation.

      • A Quantum TITO Diversity Transmission Scheme for the Entangled-State Message Based on Quantum Teleportation

        A quantum TITO (Two-Input-Two-Output) diversity transmission scheme for the entangled-state message is proposed by generalizing the wireless transmission technique to the quantum field. The TITO quantum teleportation can be implemented with Bell states in order to enhance the capacity and fidelity of the quantum channel, in which a quantum signal sequence with η entangled quantum states can be transmitted through the TITO quantum channel by applying the diversity technology. The fidelity analysis demonstrates that the quantum TITO teleportation can be performed with an expected fidelity.

        Energy absorption of the ring stiffened tubes and the application in blast wall design

        Thin-walled mental tubes under lateral crushing are desirable and reliable energy absorbers against impact or blast loads. However, the early formations of plastic hinges in the thin cylindrical wall limit the energy absorption performance. This study investigates the energy absorption performance of a simple, light and efficient energy absorber called the ring stiffened tube. Due to the increase of section modulus of tube wall and the restraining effect of the T-stiffener flange, key energy absorption parameters (peak crushing force, energy absorption and specific energy absorption) have been significantly improved against the empty tube. Its potential application in the offshore blast wall design has also been investigated. It is proposed to replace the blast wall endplates at the supports with the energy absorption devices that are made up of the ring stiffened tubes and springs. An analytical model based on beam vibration theory and virtual work theory, in which the boundary conditions at each support are simplified as a translational spring and a rotational spring, has been developed to evaluate the blast mitigation effect of the proposed design scheme. Finite element method has been applied to validate the analytical model. Comparisons of key design criterions such as panel deflection and energy absorption against the traditional design demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design in blast alleviation.

        Maximum principle, convergence of sequences and angular limits for harmonic Bloch mappings

        In this paper, we investigate maximum principle, convergence of sequences and angular limits for harmonic Bloch mappings. First, we give the maximum principle of harmonic Bloch mappings, which is a generalization of the classical maximum principle for harmonic mappings. Second, by using the maximum principle of harmonic Bloch mappings, we investigate the convergence of sequences for harmonic Bloch mappings. Finally, we discuss the angular limits of harmonic Bloch mappings. We show that the asymptotic values and angular limits are identical for harmonic Bloch mappings, and we further prove a result that applies also if there is no asymptotic value. A sufficient condition for a harmonic Bloch mapping has a finite angular limit is also given.

        Enterprises Heterogeneity, Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) and the Determinants of Chinese Firms’ Outward Foreign Direct Investment (OFDI)

        This paper analyzed Chinese enterprises’ outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) from the perspectives of Bilateral Investment Treaties (BIT) and enterprise heterogeneity. Firstly, in terms of BIT, we found that the existing literature was mainly focused on BIT and developed countries’ investment in developing countries as the research subject, and rarely discussed the role of BIT in OFDI by developing countries. In addition, in terms of enterprise heterogeneity, due to a limited dataset, the previous research could not be used to accurately understand Chinese investment’s ultimate objective, and could not be used to differentiate between differently owned enterprises. As a result, this paper uses a Multiple linear regression model to select data from Chinese foreign-investing enterprises from 2005-2016 provided by China Global Investment Tracker. We find that the signing of the BIT can promote Chinese enterprises to invest in the signatory countries. However, its role on the investment shows features differently due to the various ownership of firms. Thanks to the support of the home country system, BIT significantly promotes the foreign investment of state-owned enterprises, with little promotion for the non-state-owned enterprises.

        Numerical investigation of boundary layer suction control positions on airfoils for vertical-axis wind turbine

        Flow separation is a common phenomenon on vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT), delaying or restraining flow separation is very beneficial to improve the wind energy absorption efficiency of VAWT. This paper first reviews flow separation control methods of airfoil and VAWT. Then the influence of the maximum thickness position and curvature of airfoil on boundary layer suction position is studied on NACA-021 series airfoils. Results show that the effect of suction position is dominated by both the separation point and the maximum position of curvature variation downstream the maximum thickness position. With the maximum thickness position moves downstream, the optimal suction position for airfoil with the largest liftdrag ratio also moves towards to the trailing edge. Furthermore, multi-suction slots are studied on NACA0021 airfoil and also applied on VAWT, keeping the total suction momentum as constant, proper double chordwise suction slots can obtain higher power efficiency for low and high TSRs compared with single suction slots at x/c = 30 %.
