Backgrounds : Colonic flat adenomas are presented as flat lesion endoscopically and are associated with high incidence of high grade dysplasia and carcinoma even though their small size. Recently reduced membranous expression of cell adhesion complex such as E-cadherin and β-catenin is known to be related to the wide spread and nodal metastasis in human cancers including colon cancers. However, most studies are restricted to the advanced colon cancer and few studies have been done for the colonic adenomas. Object : We tried to evaluate the availability of E-cadherin and β-catenin as the early marker of malignant conversion in flat adenomas of the colon. Materials and Methods : Immunohistochemistry was done using 27 cases of colonic flat adenomas and 7 cases of early colon cancers. Results : The overall reduced membranous expression rate for E-cadherin in colonic flat adenomas and early colon cancer was 44.1%(15/34). Membranous expression was significantly reduced as the degree of dysplasia or carcinoma increase(p<0.05). The overall reduced membranous expression rate for β-catenin was 52.9%(18/34) in colonic flat adenomas and early colon cancers. Non-membranous expression rate for β-catenin (30/34) had a tendency to increase as the degree of dysplasia or carcinoma increase but it was not statistically significant. Non-membranous expression could be seen in the cytoplasm (79.4%) and/or in the nucleus (58.8%). Focal nuclear β-catenin expression was seen in 8 cases and diffuse nuclear expression in 12 cases. Diffuse nuclear β-catenin expression rate was significantly increased as the degree of dysplasia or carcinoma increase(p<0.05). Altered expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin in colonic flat adenomas and early colon cancers was not significantly correlated. Conclusion : Reduced expression of E-cadherin and diffuse nuclear staining of β-catenin can be used as the early marker to predict the malignant conversion in colonic flat adenomas.

In this study, a measuring system of the initial permeability of soft-ferrite powder is developed by using a linear variable differential transformer's coil, and investigated about a demagnetizing factor. Magnetic powder is extensively used for a magnetic fluid and microwave absorber's materials etc.. In these applications, it is significantly important for us to measure an initial permeability of magnetic ceramic powder. Unfortunately, there are not any measuring equipment and method directly up to the present.

As modern people's interest in health grows, wearable healthcare-related technologies that can collect biometric information and receive health-related services regardless of time and place are developing. This paper proposes the healthcare system based on voice recognition function. Unlike conventional wearable healthcare systems, the proposed system provides real-time telemedicine and diagnosis and the direct connection with doctors is possible through it. And almost all functions of the application in it are operated with voice commands to lower user access barriers. Because it deals with personal information including medical information, encryption algorithms have been applied between all data movements. Finally, the healthcare system proposed in this paper is expected to increase convenience in health care and reduce the medical gap.

In the winding system, the constant tension control is too important. In this study, we've investigated about a variable PID system as a function of a radius of winding roll. As a result, it was possible to measure a winding roll radius in the real time by making a mathematical model for measuring a winding roll radius. Finally, we've compared PID parameters as a function of winding roll radius after getting PID parameters in terms of the Ziegler & Nichols(ZN) method.

Castleman' s disease is a rare, reactive lymphoid proliferation of unknown cause and pathogenesis. Depending on histololgic findings, it has been divided into two distinct histologic subtypes that include hyaline-vascular type(90%) and plasmacell type(10%). This disease occurs most commonly in mediastinal lymph nodes and cervical lymph nodes, inguinal lymph nodes respectively. But occurs rarely in retroperitoneum. We report a case of hyaline-vascular type asymptomatic Castleman' s disease of the retroperitoneum in a 47-year-old man.
高Cr 페리틱 2相 耐熱鋼의 크리이프 强度에 미치는 Ni함량의 영향

The effect of Ni contents on the creep strength of high Cr ferritic duplex heat resisting steels was investigated. Different v/o ferrite contents were obtained by Ni addition change from 0.006 to 2.0 w/o. Hence in this paper the effect of i contents on the creep strength was studied centering on the contents of Ni and ferrite. Creep testing was carried out at 550, 600 and 650℃. Microstructures such as ferrite contents, identification of precipitates and their volume fraction were measured and tested. The results obtained are summarized as follows: (1) Ni has a strong influence on the stability of the precipitates in martensite phase. (2) In 12Cr-2Mo-0.08C duplex heat resisting steels, ferrite contents improve creep strength at longer creep test, while at short rupture test ferrite lowers creep strength. (3) Increasing Ni contents has a deleterious effect on a longer creep strength at elevated temperatures. (4) Laves phase, Fe₂Mo and presumable Cr₂N completely unidentified precipitated only in ferrite phase during a longer creep testing. (5) Laves phase, Fe₂Mo precipitated only in ferrite contributes much to the strength of a longer creep.
(Sr_(1-x)Ca_x)_mTiO_3+yNb_2O_5 세라믹의 주파수 및 온도변화에 따른 유전특성

시편은 1350(℃)의 환원분위기에서 소결하여 제작하였으며 소결된 시편의 양면에 금속산화물(CuO)을 도포하여 입계에 침투시켰다. 유전상수는 Ca의 치환량에 따라 15(mol%)까지는 거의 변화가 없었으며 20(mol%)에서는 감소하였고. Nb_20_5의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라서는 증가하였으며 0.8(mol%)이상에서는 감소하였다. 또한 유전손실의 온도특성은 치환 및 첨가량에 관계없이 0.5(%) 이내의 양호한 값을 나타내었다. 사용된 시편은 온도의 함수로서 주파수 증가에 따라 유전완화 현상을 나타내었으며. 완화주파수는 10^6(Hz) 이상이었다 The specimens were fabricated to form semiconducting ceramics by sintering at about 1350(℃) in a reducing atmosphere. After being fired in a reducing atmosphere, metal oxides(CuO) was Painted on the both surface of the specimens to diffuse to the grain boundary. The dielectric constant is not almost variation according to increase the substitutional contents of Ca, but decreased in Ca was exceed (Ca=20(mol%)). It were incrensed with increasing Nb_20_5.but decreased in (Nb_20_5 =0.8(mol%)) was exceed. Also, the temperature characteristics of the dielectric loss factor exhibited a stable value within 0.5(%) then not affectied by substitutional and additive contents. According to increase of the frequency as a functional of temperature, all specimens used in this study showed the dielectric relaxation, and the relaxation frequency was above 10^6(Hz).
