To find elements which enable improving Quality of image of chest radiography, we attempted to make comparison between chest radiography used currently with that of the past, and following conclusion was reached: 1) It could be confirmed that a dependance on chest radiography was declining, because proportion of chest radiography against overall radiography decreased. 2) There was a change of kVp to a high voltage in a chest radiography, and use of high kVp became a generalization 3) Exposure time was reduced and exposure dose was curtailed accordingly. 4) Apparatus was mainly comprised of 3-phase rectifier circuit and inverter type. 5) It could be confirmed that frequency of applying additional filters for high kVp radiography was insufficient. 6) There was almost no difference in the condition of exposure between hospitals using film/screen and hospitals using CR. But when CR is used for radiography, it was increase in exposure dose due to increase in tube current and it will be necessary to have continuous study on exposure dose by an increase use of CR in the future.
양식장 배출물 발효물의 어류 사료 첨가에 따른 넙치, Paralichthys olivaceus의 혈액학적 변동에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 우리나라 주요 양식어류인 넙치, Paralichthys olivaceus를 대상으로 육상수조식양식장 배출물 발효물의 어류 사료 첨가에 따른 혈액학적 변동에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 젖산균 및 효모를 사용하여 발효한 양식장 배출물의 이화학적 분석을 실시하였고, 발효물을 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 및 5.0% 농도로 8주간 투여하였다. 투여 4주째 및 8주째에 각 투여 구간별로 혈액학적 항목을 중심으로 그 차이를 확인하였다. 배출물 발효농도별 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았지만, 분석시기에 따른 적혈구수, 혈색소 농도 및 혈색소 지수가 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으나, 주요 혈청 무기 및 유기성분은 배출 발효물 농도별로 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 또한 혈청 효소학적 조사에서는 조사시기별로 변동은 나타났지만, 동일 조시시기에서 각 구간별 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 이러한 육상 약식장 유래의 배출물 발효산물에 대한 다양한 방면의 연구가 진행되어야겠다. Effects of oral administration with fermented product from sewage in land-based seawater fish farm on haematological disturbance in the olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus was investigated. After 4 weeks of conditioning with a basal diet, fish were divided into 4 groups and provided experimental diet (0.1,0.5, 1.0 and 2.0%) supplement of fermented sewage for 80 days. Proximal analysis was performed for the product of sewage which was fermented by lactic acid and yeast. RBC count, hemoglobin concentration and hematocrit value were increased according to the treated periods, however, no statistical difference was observed between control and treatment groups. There were no significant difference in serum organic, inorganic compounds and enzyme activities between control and treatment groups. This study hypothesized that the supplement of fermented product from sewage in land-based seawater fish farm might be an additive sup plement for source of fish diet in view of haematological examination. Recycling of the sewage may be an economic artificial sources of diet for fish aquaculture practices.
産業災害로 인한 手脂切斷 患者의 療養期間과 診療費의 變異

This study was conducted to analyze variation in patient days and medical care benefits among finger-amputated patients due to industrial injury. The 242 personal data on medical care for finger-amputated patients due to industrial injury(131 in 1994, 111 in 1995) of Regional Labor Office were analyzed. The major results of this study were as follows: Patient days per case were 69. And the ratio of the maximum and the minimum among patient days for case was 26.6. Patient days per case in university hospital were 134.8 and the longest than other medical facilites. The ratio of the maximum and the minimum among the patient days per case was higher in hospital(24.7) than in other medical facilities. Benefits per case were 1,258,000 Won. And the ratio of the maximum and the minimum among benefits of case was 232.0. Case benefits was higher in university hospital (2,685,000 Won) than in other medicl facilities. The ratio of the maximum and the minimum among the benefits per case was higher in hospital(232.0) than in other medical facilities. Variation in patient days and medical care benefits per finger-amputated patient in industrial injury was large. This study results indicated need for a new industrial injury compensation insurance policy initiative for efficient utilization of medical resources and quality assurance. And the author thought that the results of this study would influence the policy for the industrial injury compensation insurance policy.

The development of deep learning has shown outstanding performance in image analysis, and it has been accelerating the attempt to apply the technique to detect the pathological lesion automatically from the whole slide image (WSI) in the non-clinical study, as well as clinical study. We applied three deep learning-based algorithms including Mask R-CNN, DeepLab, and YOLO to detect mononuclear cell infiltration in SD rat liver which is one of the toxicological evidence in a non-clinical study. The lesion classified into two subtypes, lymphocytes and histiocytes infiltration, according to distinct features, therefore, trained separately. Total 4,191 tile images including the lesion were obtained from 44 WSIs for the analysis. The pathological lesions were labeled by VGG annotator 2.0.1.0, and the procedure that related to AI method, including train, validation, and test, was conducted by Tensor flow 2.1.0 powered by NVIDA 2080 Ti GPU. The dataset was divided with the ratio 7: 2: 1 using train_test_split function of scikit-learn. After the dataset division, the training dataset was augmented by 8 times using image augmentation techniques (reverse, rotation, and controlling brightness). The accuracy of prediction is determined by mean average precision (mAP), which can be inferred from the intersection of union (IoU) that measures the ratio of overlap area between the union of predictions and ground truth. After the training, the detection test accuracy rates were followed up by in order Mask R-CNN (96.74%), of DeepLab (92.07%), and last YOLO (70.16%). YOLO, the algorithm which detects the object using a bounding box, showed lower accuracy than the other two algorithms which detect the object by pixel segmentation. And Mask R-CNN, which showed the highest accuracy, might be an appropriate algorithm for the precise detection of infiltration mononuclear cell. In conclusion, we suggest pixel segmentation technique might be appropriate for more accurate detection of the lesions in WSIs.
도수 소생기와 풍선을 이용한 공기 누적이 폐 기능에 미치는 즉각적인 효과 비교

Purpose : To compare the immediate effects of air stacking maneuver using resuscitator bags and balloons. Methods : Twenty healthy young adults participated in this study. Forced vital capacity (FVC) and peak cough flow (PCF) tests were performed at pre-intervention, and then, the maximum insufflation capacity (MIC), forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV<sub>1</sub>), FEV<sub>1</sub>/FVC, peak expiratory flow (PEF), and peak cough flow (PCF) were measured using the air stacking maneuver via resuscitator bags and balloons. Interventions were randomly performed, and a 40-min break was provided between interventions. The evaluation process in this study was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) 2019. To compare the three outcomes measured at pre-and post-interventions, repeated measures analysis of variance was performed. Results : A significant difference was found in the MIC, FEV<sub>1</sub>, PEF, and PCF after the air stacking maneuver using resuscitator bags and balloons, whereas no significant difference was observed between resuscitator bags and balloons. Conclusion : No significant difference was found in the immediate effect of the air stacking maneuver using resuscitator bags and balloons in this study. Air stacking maneuver using balloons can increase the success rate of the techniques by providing visual feedback on the amount of air insufflation when performed with balloon blowing exercise. Balloons are cheaper and easier to buy compared to manual resuscitator bags; therefore, education on the air stacking maneuver using balloons will have a positive effect on pulmonary rehabilitation.

최근 많이 상용화되고 있는 로봇을 주제로 하여 작품을 만들었다. 사람들은 시각 장애인의 안내견 이용에 대해 불편을 호소한다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 안내견을 로봇으로 대체함으로써 더 효율적인 도움을 생각해 보고자 한다. 로봇의 기능을 두 가지로 제안한다. 먼저, 시각 장애인을 위한 길 안내 도우미 시스템을 설계하기 위하여 IR 통신을 이용하여 리모컨을 작동시켰다. 리모컨을 통하여 로봇을 조종하도록 설계하였다. 로봇의 신호를 시각 장애인에게 전달하기 위하여 진동모터를 사용함으로써 감지할 수 있도록 하였다. 이와 더불어 로봇의 존재를 상대방이 알 수 있도록 LED기능을 탑재하였다. 다음 기능의 목적은 장애물로 인하여 받을 수 있는 피해를 방지하고자 함이다. 초음파 센서를 이용하여 전방에 있는 사물을 인식한 후 시각 장애인에게 알려줄 수 있도록 하였다. 시각 장애인에게 정보를 전달하는 방법에는 여러 제약이 있지만, 진동모터를 이용하여 효과적이고 정확한 정보 전달을 가능하도록 하였다. 이러한 기능을 통하여 시각 장애인들의 삶의 윤택성을 향상시킨다.

Electrospray is a method of atomizing fluid using high voltage supply and capable of generating continuous flow and coherent size of droplets. Electrical system and properties of fluids has enabled electrospray to have various spray modes. However, its studies have been confined only in Cone jet, which is more stable and easier to manipulate droplets’ size than other spraying modes. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate and compare other spraying modes based on experimental parameters and physical properties of fluids. This research paper identified nine different spray modes. It was found out that Sauter Mean Diameter (SMD) is proportional to flow rate of fluids and maximum difference among spray modes was 1.7 times. On the other hand, SMD standard deviation had low variations on specific flow rates of fluids. Pulsed jet mode recorded the largest SMD standard deviation, while Spindle recorded the lowest.
