The present study was aimed to isolate the bacteria producing chitinolytic enzymes including chitin deacetylase (CDA) from soil origin. About 24 bacteria were screened for their chitinolytic enzymes producing ability on the basis of colloidal chitin. Amongst one of the most potent isolates designated to JI-02 was further selected as the most prominent chitinolytic and CDAlike enzyme (CDA-X) producer based on the ability of deacetylation of an artificial substrate pNP-acetamilide. The maximum production of CDA-X in crude enzyme from JI-02 was observed in the presence of 1% colloidal chitin at 37°C and pH 6.4 after 120 h of incubation. Potent enzyme activity of CDA-X was determined toward pNP-acetamilide, demonstrating that optimal pH, temperature and ionic strength of the CDA-X were assessed to be 7.0, 52°C and 125 mM, respectively. Unexpectedly, Nacetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) was not fully converted by the action of CDA-X to glucosamine (GlcN) under the established conditions. Further study on enzyme activity toward chitin-oligosaccharides consisting of multi-N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc)n, n=2-5 may be necessary to elucidate the mode of action which requires the minimum size of (GlcNAc)n. However, our data suggest that CDA-X can convert chitin to chitosan with the maximum yield of approximately 0.08g/L during the fermentation of the strain in the presence of chitin. Furthermore, we found that crude enzyme showed the significant chitosanolytic activity. Taken together, our data suggest that the strain JI-02 may be a potential candidate as a particular strain for better understating of chitin catabolic pathway.

The average indoor concentration of the library's TSP was 0.03 ng/m³. TAB in library and lounge in college of engineering showed higher concentrations in corridors than indoors. The correlation coefficient between TAB and humidity is 0.985, so it is judged that there is a significant need for humidity control in indoor air quality management to reduce the concentration of total suspended bacteria(p<0.01).
디지털 I-PD 제어기에 의한 태양광 발전 시스템의 정출력 제어

In this paper, constant output control of solar power generation system with instantaneous variable output is proposed. In order to get constant DC and AC voltage source, we construct Buck-Boost chopper equip with the digital I-PD type controller first. Consequently, we are able to get constant DC boltage. Next, we obtain AC source through construction PWM single phase inverter that has the constant frequency output. And we design LC filter to reduce THD(Total Harmonic Distortion). The validity of proposed control strategy is verified from results of simulation.

This study was to investigate the effect of internet banner types(texts, animations, sexy models) on indexes of advertising effects(attitude toward the advertisement( A_ad), brand attitude( A_b), purchase intention(PI)]. In this study, 180 subjects were conveniently sampled, and randomly assigned to one of 6 conditions in 3(ad types) × 2(products types) factorial design. The major findings of this study as follows. The results of A_ad on differences compared with the ad using texts and sexy models. And the ad for computers had statistically significant differences from ad for books. The results of A_b on ad types had significant main effects, but the results of A_b on products types and interaction effects had no significant differences. The ad using texts and animations had statistically significant differences from the ad using sexy models. The results of PI on ad types had significant main effects, but the results of PI on products types and interaction effects had no significant differences. The ad using texts and animations had statistically significant differences from the ad using sexy models. Finally, implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

목적 : 이전 연구들에 따르면 아직까지 국내에서 불필요한 항생제 사용은 무시할 수 없는 수준이며, 특히, 수술환자들에 대한 예방적 항생제 투여가 문제로 지적되고 있다. 많은 병원에서 불필요한 항생제 처방을 제한하려는 노력을 하고 있지만 구체적인 현황에 대한 자료는 적은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구자 등은 국내 의료기관의 항생제 규제 시스템의 현황과 수술시 예방적 항생제 사용의 적정성을 알아보고자 한다. 재료 및 방법 : 전임 감염내과 전문의가 근무하는 의료기관 55곳에 대해 설문조사를 시행하였다. 설문의 내용은 적정한 항생제 사용을 유도하기 위한 정책 및 규제 프로그램, 실제 각 의료기관의 예방적 항생제 사용 현황 등으로 이루어져 있다. 결과 : 55개의 의료기관에 보낸 설문 중 44개가 회수되었다. 회신한 의료기관에서 항생제 처방 관리는 제한항생제 시스템을 가장 많이 이용하고 있었고(95.5%), 항생제에 대한 교육(79.5%), 전산시스템에서 관리(59.1%), 감염내과에 의뢰(54.5%), 항생제 사용 실적 검토(52.3%) 등의 순이었다. 대개의 병원에서 glycopeptides (100.0%), carbapenems (93.0%), quinupristin/dalfopristin 또는 linezolid(93.0%), 4세대 cephalosporin (74.4%), caspofungin 또는 voriconazole (62.8%), liposomal amphotericin B (60.5%) 등을 제한항생제로 분류하여 관리하고 있었다. 모든 의료기관에서 위절제술 및 유방절제술시에 불필요하게 예방적 항생제를 사용하고 있었다. 슬관절치환술의 경우 2세대 cephalosporin을 예방적으로 사용하는 경우가 가장 많았으며(30.2%), 관상동맥우회술의 경우 3세대 cephalosporin을 예방적으로 사용하는 경우가 가장 많았다(47.2%). 예방적 항생제의 투여 기간을 살펴보면 위절제술시 70.5%에서 4일을 초과하여 사용하고 있었고, 유방절제술시에는 63.6%에서, 슬관절치환술시에는 81.8%에서, 관동맥우회술시에는 81.1%에서 4일을 초과하여 장기간 예방적 항생제를 투여하고 있었다. 한편, 예방적 항생제 투여시 aminoglycoside계 항생제를 병용하는 경우도 많았다. 결론 : 아직까지 국내 의료기관에서 항생제 오남용을 막기 위한 노력이 더 필요할 것으로 생각되며, 특히 수술시 예방적 항생제의 올바른 투여에 많은 관심이 필요하다. Background : Previous studies in Korea showed that unnecessary antibiotic use could not be neglected, especially in prophylactic use. Currently many hospitals employ diverse antibiotic stewardship programs, but there are few studies on surveillance of such programs. So, we planned this study to evaluate current status of antimicrobial stewardship and adequacy of antimicrobial prophylaxis in surgery. Materials and Methods : We sent questionnaires about policy on antibiotic usage, control program for adequate antibiotic prescription, and actual status of prophylactic antibiotic usage to 55 infectious disease physicians in each hospital. Results : Of 55 contacted infectious diseases clinicians, 44 answered the questionnaire. Majority of hospitals employed restricted antimicrobial system (95.5%), education (79.5%), control by order communicating system (59.1%), consult to infectious disease physicians (59.1%), and review of cumulative antimicrobial usage (52.3%) to prevent inadequate antibiotic use. Glycopeptides were designated as a restricted antimicrobial agent in 100.0% of hospitals; carbapenems, 93.0%; quinupristin/ dalfopristin or linezolid, 93.0%; the 4th generation cephalosporins, 74.4%; caspofungin or voriconazole, 62.8%; liposomal amphotericin B, 60.5%, and so on. Unnecessary perioperative prophylactic antimicrobial agents were prescribed in gastrectomy and mastectomy in all the hospitals. The second generation cephalosporins and the third generation cephalosporins were the most commonly prescribed prophylactic antimicrobial agents in total knee replacement arthroplasty (TKRA) and coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) respectively. In 70.5% of institutes they use prophylactic antimicrobial agents more than four days in gastrectomy; 63.6% in mastectomy; 81.8% in TKRA; 81.1% in CABG. Unnecessary combination of aminoglycosides with other antimicrobial agents for prophylactic use was another common problem. Conclusion : This study shows that more effort is required to diminish antimicrobial misuse or overuse, especially in prophylactic use for surgical patients.

As people need the lifelong education in the 21st century, our society launched cyber education as a new education paradigm two years ago. This study attempted to evaluate the operation system of five cyber demonstration universities in Korea. Research finding indicate that there leave room for improvement ion several aspects. This study suggests that cyber education in the future need to consolidate the 'humanware', 'hardware', 'software' and ' baseware' to function effectively as well as to solve the problems that have been appeared during the last two-year demonstration period.

2003년 4월부터 2006년 4월까지 안양 지역에 위치한 개인 소아치과 병원에 내원한 환아 7038명을 대상으로 임상적,방사선학적 검사를 통해 성별,상악 정중과잉치의 수,치관의 형태와 위치,치관 방향을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 과잉치를 가진 환아는 239명으로 3.40%(총 241명. 3.42%)에 해당하였고 총 289개의 과잉치가 있었다. 2. 과잉치는 1개 있는 경우가 191명으로 가장 많았고, 2개 있는 경우도 48명 있었으며 3개 이상 있는 경우는 없었다. 3. 상악 정중과잉치는 3.2:1로 여아보다 남아에서 호발하였다. 4. 과잉치는 왼쪽에 있는 경우가 55.4%로 약간 더 많았고,모양은 원추형,방향은 역위형이 가장 많았다. 5. 하악 정중과잉치는 2명에서 관찰되었다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of mesiodens at pediatric dental clinic in Anyang, Kyeong Gi-Do. From retrospective reviews of all patients who visited Kizwell pediatric dental clinic from 2003.4-2006.4, 241 patients (289 mesiodens) who were shown to have mesiodentes were examed by a periapical radiograph and a panoramic radiograph. The incidence of mesiodens was 3.42% and the ratio of male/female (184/57) was 3.2:1. The number of supernumerary teeth was one in 193 cases (80%), two in 48 cases (20%). The mesiodens was placed at left side more frequently and the most common shape was conical type (208, 78%). Of 289 mesiodens, the direction of the crown of the mesiodens was inverted in 156 (54%), in a normal direction in 104 (36%), in a horizontal direction with regard to the tooth axis in 29 (10%). Early diagnosis of the mesiodens allow the most appropriate treatment, often reducing the extent of surgery, orthodontic treatment and possible complications.
외란관측기를 사용한 복합형능동전력필터의 Deadbeat제어에 관한 연구

When LC filter is connected parallel to the Active Power Filter, a problem of the resonance between the Active Power Filter(AF) and LC filter often arises. In this paper, deadbeat control of Hybrid Active Power Filter using Disturbance-observer is introduced to solve this problem. By the estimation of the harmonics disturbance using proposed disturbance observer, the compensation characteristics of the AF is improved and the resonant current is suppressed. The validity of proposed disturbance observer is verified from simulation results using PSIM.
홉핑동작과 달리기동작의 운동역학적 비교 분석 : Elementary School's Children

The purpose of this study was firstly to investigate to investigate the biomechanical differences of motor developmental process by examining the movement of body segment and joint and the the pattern of ground reaction force and joint moment according to age during standing long jump in elementary school's children and secondly to provide fundamental data for scientific teaching method in physical education subject of teaching field. The subjects were divided into both grade 2 group and grade 6 group. which were consisted of 6 subject respectively. A digital video camera for kinematic data and a force plate for kinetics data were used during standing long jump. For the movement analysis two dimensional cinematographical method(Arial Performance Analysis System : APAS) was used and for the calculation of the kinematic variables a self developed program was used with the LabVIEW 6.1 (Laboratory Virtural Instrument Engineering Workbench) graphical programming (Johnson, 1999) program. independent samples t-test in SPSS package was used to test the biomechanical difference between two variables. The kinematics and kinetics results of this study were as follows. 1. while jumping distance, the horizontal displacement showed significant different between grade 2 group and grade 6 group, 2. Three were no significant difference between grade 2 group and grade 6 group each joint angular displacement however the hip joint and ankle joint showed more extended in grade 6 group. 3. In angular velocity the thigh segment, shank segment and foot segment velocity did not show significant differences. but foot segment angular velocity increased from minimum knee angle to take-off 4. The ground reaction force did not show significant difference between grade 2 group and grade 6 group, but the maximum peak value of the ground reaction force was smaller than 2 grade group. 5. Three were significant difference in hip and knee joint momentum between grade 2 group and grade 6 group.
