도서지역 학생의 학업성취도와 교육환경의 관계 연구

본연구의 목적은 첫째 서남해 도서지역 학생들의 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 교육환경 변인들을 조사 분석하여 학업성취도와 교육환경에 대한 학생과 교사의 평가를 알아보고, 둘째 회귀분석을 통해 학업성취도와 교육환경간의 관계를 교사의 관점과 학생의 관점에서 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 우리나라 서남해 지역 도서의 대부분이 위치해 있는 신안군, 완도군, 진도군, 지역의 교사와 학생을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 표집은 신안군 교사 175명 학생 320명, 완도군 교사 185명 학생 350명, 진도군 교사 10명 학생 50명 등 총 교사 370명 학생 720명으로 전체 1,090명이다. 본 연구의 결과 요약하면 첫째, 도서지역 교육환경에 대한 전체적인 만족도가 교사와 학생 모두에게서 보통보다 낮게 나타났으며, 특히 지역환경에 대한 만족도는 아주 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 교사가 평가한 학생의 학업성취도에 미치는 교육환경 변인들의 영향을 회귀분석한 결과 학습환경(beta=.631). 학교환경(beta=.207). 지역환경(beta=.205) 순으로 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 세 변인들의 학업 성취도에 대한 설명력은 51.8%로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생이 평가한 학업성취도에 미치는 교육환경 변인들의 영향을 회귀분석한 결과 학교환경(.377).지역환경(beta=.185).가정환경(beta=.110)순으로 학생들의 학업성취도에 대한 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 세 변인들의 학업성취도에 대한 설명력은 26.9%로 나타났다. The main purposes of the present study are to investigate (1) the extent to which students and teachers in the Southwest of Korea are satisfied with the educational environments and students' academic achievement. (2)the relationships between educational environments and students' academic achievement from the perspectives of teachers and students. and (3) how to improve educational environments in islands in the southwest of Korea. To fulfill the goals of the present study, we surveyed 175teachers and 302 students and 320 students from shinan county. 185 teachers and 350 students from Wando county. and 10 teachers and 50 students from Jindo county. totaling 370teachers and 720 students (1.090 individuals). and carried out descriptive and multiple regression analyses. There conclusions were drawn from data analysis. First, generally, students and teachers were not satisfied with their educational environments. Second. from the perspectives of teachers. study environments, school environments. and local environments significantly (51.8%) explained students, academic achievement. Third, from the perspective of students, school environments, local environments, and family environments significantly (26.(%) explained students', academic achievement.

학교운영위원회의 적합성 평가

본 연구에서는 관련 자료와 문헌의 검토를 통해 학교운영위원회 제도 도입의 취지 및 배경을 분석하여 법적 평가준거를 마련하고, 평가준거에 대비하여 학교윤영위원회의 적합성을 평가하고 개선방안을 모색하는데 목직이 있다. 연구자는 문헌고찰을 통하여 학교운영위원회의 적합성 평가 준거를 설정하였다. 학운위의 적합성에 대한 평가는 학운위라는 하위 조직을 관장하는 상위 규정의 적합성을 중심으로 하는 외적 준거와 학운위 자체의 구성과 기능을 중심으로 하는 내적 준거의 두 가지로 나누어 볼 수 있다.연구결과 내적 준거 면에서나 외적 준거 면 모두 적합성ㅇ 있어서 부족하다는 평가가 나왔다. 학교운영위원회의 적합성 향상을 위해서는 외적으로는 단위학교로의 실질적인 권한 위임·위양이 이루어져야 할 뿐 아니라 내적으로는 단위학교 구성원들 간의 권한 공유 또한 이루어져야 할 것이다. The aim of this study was to prepare plans to improve the quality of the operation of school governing committees by analyzing actual conditions of the basic objectives and composition, management, functions of school governing committees. to fulfill the goal of the present study, a review of relevant literature and surveys and in-depth interviews of council members were carried out. The specific content of this study are as follows: The first step was to ascertain actual conditions of school governing committees. The results of the present study can be summarized as follows. First, due to difficulties in finding members for the school governing committees, an issue of the extension of terms for the committee was considered However, the current term of one yeat turned out to be good because parents were willing to cooperate and focus completely on the education of their children during the one year period. Second, setting up committees is absolutely required after initial organization of the school council. It is hoped that other small-sized school will accept this recommendation. third, the analyses showed that it was premature to have a student representative as a member of a school council, but nevertheless, it was necessary to organize a school council. Fourth, following the composition of a school council, it was required that a chairperson be selected among its members. At the same time, it become apparent that the majority of members believed that a chairperson should be selected from among parents delegates of a district. According to council members, education experts from other regions and public administration officials should not be eligible for the position of chairperson. Fifth, the minimum number of school council meetings should be set, Also, to activate the council, a free management system (centering around the school principal for the responsible management of a school unit) should be established. Sixth, the school council should be established and its operating period should be set in accordance with the period of the school budget and curriculum. The council meetings should be scheduled for no earlier than 3:00 p.m. so as not to disturb the operation of the school and the staff, faculty, and student of the school development, but the parents and students felt deeply about a need to discuss funds fo such things as school uniforms, gyn suits, camping and school excursions. The following plan are proposed to improve the current state of the management of school governing committees: first, providing meals or traveling expenses after school council meetings can be implemented as long as the school budget allows, although it is difficult to standardize this procedure for all schools. second, since the indirect election of the superintendent and members of a board of education has many side effects, direct election by residents should be implemented. Third, the meetings of school council should take place in public so as to maintain a basic democratic principle and transparency. Fourth. the participation of members from certain political parties in a school council should be avoided because as this may be often incompatible with school council and counter productive to basic educational processed and objectives.

방사선사진에서의 골질과 임상적으로 평가한 골질 분류의 상관관계

Purpose : To investigate the validity of digital image processing on panoramic radiographs in estimating bone quality before endosseous dental implant installation by correlating bone quality in radiographic images with clinical bone quality classification. Materials and Methods : An experienced surgeon assessed and classified bone quality for implant sites with tactile sensation at the time of implant placement. Including fractal dimension eighteen morphologic features of trabecular pattern were examined in each anatomical sites on panoramic radiographs. Finally bone quality of 67 implant sites were evaluated in 42 patients. Results : Pearson correlation analysis showed that three morphologic parameters had weak linear negative correlation with clinical bone quality classification showing correlation coefficients of -0.276, -0.280, and -0.289, respectively (p<0.05). And other three morphologic parameters had obvious linear negative correlation with clinical bone quality classification showing correlation coefficients of -0.346, -0.488, and -0.343 respectively (p<0.05). Fractal dimension also had a linear correlation with clinical bone quality classification with correlation coefficients -0.506 significantly (p<0.05). Conclusion : This study suggests that fractal and morphometric analysis using digital panoramic radiographs can be used to evaluate bone quality for implant recipient sites. 골격근 근형질세망의 ATP유도 ^45Ca-uptake에 대한 Thapsigargin및 Vanillylnonanamide의 영향

To investigate the effect of thapsigargin(THP) and vanillylnonanamide(VN), derivative of capsaicin, on the ATP-induced ^45Ca-uptake in the sarcoplasmic reticulum(SR) of the skeletal muscle, the SR vesicles were prepared from the back muscle of the rabbit, and ^45Ca-uptake was carried out. The results as follows: ATP-induced ^45Ca-uptake of skeletal muscular SR was significantly increased by 1 mM ATP. It was significantly blocked by 5 μM THP, but slightly decreased by 20 μM VN. The combined effect of THP and VN on the 45Ca-uptake of the SR vesicles was much potentiated than the sum of each effect of them. The above results suggest that the action of VN, being slightly influential to ATP-induced Ca-uptake but potentiating the effect of THP on the Ca-uptake, might be related with direct perturbation of the SR membrane or exposure of the THP-binding site.

A case of Pseudo-Meigs syndrome associated with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor

Pseudo-Meigs syndrome is a rare disease entity characterized by ovarian tumor coexisting with ascites and pleural effusion. These clinical features lead to gynecologists misdiagnosing it as ovarian carcinoma. In cases of Pseudo-Meigs syndrome, ascites and pleural effusion rapidly disappear after removal of the ovarian tumor, and the patient shows favorable prognosis. We report a case of Pseudo-Meigs syndrome with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor in a premenopausal woman. A 49-year-old premenopausal woman presented with dyspnea and a palpable abdominal mass. Abdominal and chest CT showed a 23 cm ovarian mass with ascites and right pleural effusion. Serum CA 125 and CA 19-9 levels were elevated. The patient underwent staging surgery and was diagnosed with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor. After surgery, the ascites and pleural effusion resolved. There was no metastasis or recurrence of the disease for two years after the surgery. To date, few reports have presented Pseudo-Meigs syndrome associated with borderline ovarian tumors. There was a case report about Pseudo-Meigs syndrome with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor in a postmenopausal woman in the English literature. In a study on premenopausal women, there was only one case of Pseudo-Meigs syndrome associated with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor and elevated serum CA 125 tumor marker, but her serum CA 19-9 levels were not checked. We report a case of Pseudo-Meigs syndrome with borderline mucinous ovarian tumor and elevated serum CA 125 and CA 19-9 levels in a premenopausal woman.

확장된 내포 데이타베이스의 효율적인 처리방법

논리 데이타베이스의 표현력 확장을 위한 연구의 일환으로 연구, 발표된 개선된 확장 내포 데이타베이스 (extended intensional databases)는 몸체에 존재한정자 및 부리터럴(negative literal)을 허용함으로써 다양한 표현이 가능하다. 한편, 존재한정자가 규칙에 쓰일 경우 보통 사용되는 도출방법의 경우, 스콜름 함수를 사용하여 존재한정자를 변환하게 되어 추론 후 도출식에 항상 스콜름 함수가 존재하게 되고 이로 인해 도출식의 처리가 어려워지는데, 이러한 점을 해결하고 개선된 확장 내포 데이타베이스에 적용가능한 새로운 비도출적 추론방법이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 개선된 확장 내포 데이타베이스의 처리를 효율적으로 하기 위하여 개선된 확장 내포 내포데이타베이스의 추론에 적합한 내부 데이타 구조를 보이고, 이 데이타 구조를 바탕으로 한 비도출적 추론 방법을 적용한 관련 알고리즘을 보인다. 또한, 제안된 내부 데이타 구조와 각 단계에 따른 알고리즘에 비도출적 추론방법을 적용한 예도 보인다.

치환기반 추론시스템의 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 연역 데이타베이스의 표현력 확장을 위해 먼저 내포 데이타베이스의 몸체(body)에 존재한정자(existential quantifier)와 음리터럴(negative literal)의 존재를 허용하는 확장 내포 데이타베이스(extended IDB)를 정의한다. 확장 내포 데이타베이스는 표현의 융통성을 도모하여 다양한 뷰(view)의 표현이 가능하도록 한다. 또, 새로운 연역법칙인 치환법칙(Substitution Rule)과 확장 내포 데이타베이스의 구현에 적합한 내부 데이타 구조를 제시하며, 이를 기반으로 치환법칙 구현에 관련된 알고리즘을 기술한다. 이를 바탕으로 EXODUS 저장관리자(storage manager)를 하부 저장구조로 가지는 추론시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 구현된 추론시스템은 확장 내포 데이타베이스를 지원하며, 연역단계에서 내포 데이타베이스에 사용된 존재한정자를 효과적으로 처리하는 치환기반 연역을 제공한다. In this paper, we first define an extended IDB that allows both existential quantified variables and negative literals to occur in the bodies. The extended IDB accommodates more representation flexibility so as to make various view representations possible. Next, we present internal data structures for implementation of extended IDBs and then describe the relevant algorithm that can be used in the deduction phase. Based on the presented scheme, an inference module has been developed over the EXODUS storage manager The module supports the extended IDB directly and provides the substitution-based deduction that handles the existential quantifiers in IDB efficiently.

MPEG-7 서술자 이진화를 이용한 CNN 추론 결과 압축

본 논문은 물체 검출(Object Detection)과 물체영역분할(Object Segmentation)의 CNN 추론 결과를 MPEG-7 서술자 이진화를 통해 표현함으로써 원본과의 용량을 비교한다. 영상의 사용 목적에 따라 CNN 추론 결과를 압축하여 활용할 시 원본 영상 대비 용량을 측정하여 그 효율성을 판단하는 것이 목표이다. 물체 검출과 물체영역분할에 대한 추론 결과를 MPEG-7 서술자를 이용해 압축하였으며, 비교를 위해 원본 영상, CNN 추론 결과 파일, MPEG-7 서술자, MPEG-7 서술자 이진화 파일의 크기를 측정하였다. 실험 결과, MPEG-7 서술자를 이진화를 통한 표현 방식이 원본 영상 및 추론 결과 파일에 비해 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.

Mutational analyses of the thermostable NAD⁺-dependent DNA ligase from <i>Thermus filiformis</i>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>The crystal structure of NAD<SUP>+</SUP>-dependent DNA ligase from <I>Thermus filiformis</I> (<I>Tfi</I>) revealed that the protein comprised four structural domains. In order to investigate the biochemical activities of these domains, seven deletion mutants were constructed from the <I>Tfi</I> DNA ligase. The mutants <I>Tfi</I>-M1 (residues 1–581), <I>Tfi</I>-M2 (residues 1–448), <I>Tfi</I>-M3 (residues 1–403) and <I>Tfi</I>-M4 (residues 1–314) showed the same adenylation activity as that of wild-type. This result indicates that only the adenylation domain (domain 1) is essential for the formation of enzyme–AMP complex. It was found that the zinc finger and helix-hairpin-helix (HhH) motif domain (domain 3) and the oligomer binding (OB)-fold domain (domain 2) are important for the formation of enzyme–DNA complex. The mutant <I>Tfi</I>-M1 alone showed the activities for in vitro nick-closing and in vivo complementation in <I>Escherichia coli</I> as those of wild-type. These results indicate that the BRCT domain (domain 4) of <I>Tfi</I> DNA ligase is not essential for the enzyme activity. The enzymatic properties of <I>Tfi</I>-M1 mutant (deleted the BRCT domain) were slightly different from those of wild-type and the nick-closing activity of <I>Tfi</I>-M1 mutant was approximately 50% compared with that of wild-type.</P>
