Many recent research reported that men, different from the past, want to represent their individualities through clothing and become important shoppers. The market for men is gradually extended. In this study, a well known relationship between clothing values and brand orientation were tested for male consumers. Data from 334 adult male consumers living in a metropolitan area were collected and analyzed. Results indicated that male consumers with various demographic characteristics such as age, marital status, income, and clothing expense showed different level of clothing values. Regression analysis results indicated that among hedonic clothing value factors, confidence in clothing and fashion orientation had significant influence on brand loyalty. Among utilitarian factors symbolic values expressed through clothing had a strong influence on brand loyalty of male consumers.

An organic bi-stable device (OBD) was developed and exhibited non-volatile memory characteristics with a current conduction bi-stability of 1 × 102 and a threshold voltage of 2.8 V for the writing state. The OBD was fabricated with the following structure: aluminum (Al) layer / conductive organic layer / Al nano-crystals surrounded by amorphous Al2O3 / conductive organic layer / Al layer, where the organic material was 2-amino-4, 5-imidazoledicarbonitrile (AIDCN). The Al nano-crystals surrounded by the amorphous Al2O3 were several nanometers in size, with a density of 1 × 1011/cm2. The OBD could only achieve current conduction bi-stability with an Al evaporation rate of less than 0.3 °A/s.
Content Analysis as a Method for Measuring Exploitation and Exploration

활용과 탐색을 측정하는 방법은 특허 기반의 방법, 설문 기반의 방법, 언론 기반의 방법 세 가지로 나뉜다. 다양한 방법론이 나오게 된 이유는 활용과 탐색의 정의에 대한 합의가 아직 이루어지지 않았기 때문이다. 활용과 탐색 활동은 기업이 장기적으로 행하기 때문에 언론 기반의 방법이 가장 적절하며, 이 논문에서는 세계 광디스크 라이브러리 장치 산업의 데이터를 활용하여 유효하고, 신뢰성 있는 언론 기반의 방법에 의해 활용과 탐색을 어떻게 측정하는 것인지를 보여주고자 한다. Measures of exploration and exploitation fall into three categories, patent-based measures, survey-based measures, and press-based measures. Such variety stems from the lack of consensus on definitions of exploration and exploitation. Given a dynamic nature of exploration and exploitation, I suggested how to improve existing press-based measures by suggesting strategies and procedures for constructing valid and reliable press-based measures in a single industry context. I illustrate my arguments through a study of the worldwide optical disk industry

<P>Four-level nonvolatile small-molecule 4F(2) memory cells were developed with a sandwiched device structure consisting of an upper Al electrode, upper small-molecule layer (Alq(3), aluminum tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)), Ni nanocrystals surrounded by NiO tunneling barrier, lower small-molecule layer, and bottom Al electrode. In particular, an in situ O(2)-plasma oxidation process following Ni evaporation was developed to produce uniformly stable 10 nm Ni nanocrystals surrounded by a NiO tunneling barrier embedded in the small-molecule layer. They presented a memory margin (I(on)/I(off) ratio) of approximately 1 x 10(3), a retention time of more than 10(5) s, an endurance of more than 5 x 10(2) erase-and-program cycles, and multilevel cell (MLC) operation, being a terabit nonvolatile memory-cell. A vertically double-stacked 4F(2) multilevel nonvolatile memory cell was also developed, showing a memory margin of approximately 1 x 10(3) in both the top and bottom memory cells and eight-level cell operation.</P>

탐색은 도전적인 업무 환경을 제공하지만, 높은 수준의 복잡성과 모호성을 동시에 제공한다. 그에 반해, 활용은 덜 도전적인 업무 환경을 제공하며, 낮은 수준의 복잡성과 모호성을 제공한다. 이러한 두 활동의 특성을 고려해 보면, 두 가지 활동을 동시에 프로젝트 매니저들에게 할당하는 것은 가장 좋은 프로젝트 작업 환경을 제공한다고 볼 수 있다. 168명의 프로젝트 매니저들의 프로젝트 데이터를 바탕으로 로짓 회귀 분석을 통해 가설을 검증한 결과 활용 프로젝트 경험이 있는 매니저들은 활용 프로젝트에서 높은 성과를 보였고, 활용과 탐색 프로젝트 경험이 있는 매니저들은 프로젝트의 종류에 관계없이 높은 프로젝트 성과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. The assignment of exploration on individuals provides challenging work environments, while it generates high levels of complexity. On the other hand, the assignment of exploitation on individuals offers less challenging work environments, while it makes low levels of complexity. Give the characteristics of exploration and exploitation, I argue that the assignments of both exploration and exploitation create the favorable work environments to individuals. Developed hypotheses were tested using a logit regression from a sample of 168 project managers in a R&D center. I found that a manager who experienced exploitation project(s) is positively related to higher performance in exploitation project(s). In addition, a manager who experienced both exploitation and exploration projects are found to be positively associated with higher project performance.

The antimutagenic activity of a methanol extract of roasted Cassia tora seeds against aflatoxin B₁(AFB₁) was demonstrated with the Salmonella typhimurium assay. The numbers of revertants per plate decreased significantly when this extract was added to the assay system using Salmonella typhimurium TA100 and or TA98. The MeOH extract was then sequentially partitioned with CH₂Cl₂, EtOAc, n-BuOH, and H₂O. The CH₂Cl₂ and n-BuOH fractions possessed antimutagenic activity, but the EtOAc and H₂O fractions were inactive. Both the MeOH extract and its fractions were capable of inhibiting the indirect-acting mutagen AFB₁, suggesting that these fractions may prevent the metabolic activation of AFB₁ or scavenge the electrophilic intermediate capable of inducing mutations. Column chromatography using silica gel yielded pure alaternin from the CH₂Cl₂ fraction, and adenosine and isorubrofusarin gentiobioside from the n-BuOH fraction. Alaternin and isorubrofusarin gentiobioside demonstrated significant antimutagenic activities.
